A/N: Hello I am back because I have a new laptop but I have had a sudden change of heart to writing A/N's every chapter. I have been reading all these different stories and books on Wattpad and here, Fanficton and even finding myself skip the author's notes so I will stop writing simple author notes unless I completely need to respond to something.
Happy reading and love you guys!

Awkward much?
Penelope's P.O.V.
I collapsed onto my bed after a tiring day trying on dresses being relentlessly shoved at me by Susan and Lucy, but I still loved them anyways. My mind began to wander. The Pevensies were going to be Kings and Queens, Blake Lord Chancellor, and me a queen of nymphs…
How had things already gone so quickly that I didn't notice the changes that had happened since we arrived in Narnia? I mean Blake and I had fallen in love-
Love.
We had fallen for each other without even noticing.
Suddenly a knock brought me out my trance and I stood to open it revealing a small short woman smiling.
The woman had bright blonde hair, blue eyes and was reasonably short but I felt something was different in her as she wasn't human nor an animal. She was somewhere in between.
Neither of us had said a word.
The sudden awkwardness between us made me and her laugh weirdly, but she smiled brighter, "My name is Rose. I am your assistant as you may say."
My eyes widened in confused. I had an assistant? Like those girls that help queens get in their dresses? Why me?
Rose looked away for a moment perplexed because I hadn't said a word to her. "I was assigned to you because you are very close to the soon to be royal family, and you are royalty also."
"Oh."
"If…you would want someone different. I could arrange-"
Shaking my head "No, no your fine. I just wasn't expecting to have an assistant. But, If that's how things are handled here in Cair, I will adjust", I said with a small smile.
Rose looked up to me with a larger smile as if I had made her day suddenly better. "Shall you get dressed for lunch then, my mother-"
"No mother please," I said snickering to myself, "I still have to get used to people addressing me that way. Just call me Penelope. Also, I cannot wear what I am now?"
Suddenly I looked towards the direction Rose's name was being called from. I didn't recognize who the speaker was but I did notice how Rose cringed from the voice. A small curtly man came up flush to her clearly noticing I stood there at my doorway but didn't even acknowledge me.
"Rose, why did you leave me in the room alone this morning? We are supposed to wake up beside each other every morning of every year we are alive. You are my wife and I think I deserve that. Do you think that-"
I swiftly looked towards the man with the friendliest smile I could muster, "Sir, if Rose is to be your wife-"
"And who are you?"
Rose spoke up in a quiet manner, "Baltimore, this is Penelope. The Queen of Nymphs and Mother Nature."
The short man suddenly looked away from the timid woman and glanced towards me with a shielded expression, "Oh hello, so kind mother. How improper I was. Good day."
My eyes widened as Baltimore stalked down the hallway as if he didn't get his way, and slowly I turned to Rose seeing her wildly shaking her hands as if nothing had happened.
"Oh don't bother! It will be alright, my husband can be a…pain sometimes. But yes! Let's get you changed into something rather dashing! All the new court ladies coming soon to see the new kings and queens will be speechless!"
Rose walked into my room happily as I stood rather confused. She was his wife? That man, no offense seemed quite tempered. I hoped this unraveled into nothing.
Peter's P.O.V.
Edmund sat at the window across from me staring the picture beside him down. He had been complaining for the past ten minutes how bored he was.
"Peter. What on earth are we going to do here?"
"Peter."
"Pete."
"Peter!"
I rolled my eyes looking towards my brother. His sudden change of attitude since we got to Cair Paravel was freaking everyone out. Ed was just suddenly talkative.
"Yes, Ed."
"Were you listening to me?"
Trying not to…
"Peter!"
I casually looked up to Edmund who bore his brown eyes into mine, "I assume all of us will find something to do. Perhaps you can do horseback riding, or even chess."
Edmund suddenly jumped up perkily making me jump back slightly, "Chess! Yes, I can get a centaur to make me one! Nice idea, Pete! Now what color should they be?"
Shrugging I spoke "Maybe, ask for silver or something."
Quiet surrounded us for a while until I finally looked towards my brother once again. I think the Battle and the Witch had changed him. He was so different. Yes it may have shocked me and the others but I think our lives would get a little better seeing him happy now. I remember before in England, he seemed angry with the world.
Maybe Narnia had changed Edmund.
