Chapter 34 Fall for You
They had bid each other good night after dinner a few hours ago and parted ways to their respective bedrooms. Their conversation over dinner had gone well and things were looking promising for the pair. They were both hopeful that the rest of the vacation would continue going this smoothly and that they could start being normal again with each other at work.
It was one o'clock in the morning now and Kate Beckett was wide awake, tossing and turning on the guest mattress, trying in vain to fall asleep. She was growing frustrated, for sleep would not come to her. It was because she had taken a long nap in the car on the drive out to East Hampton. The nap had messed up her sleep schedule and she could not fall back asleep.
Kate was getting tired of lying down so she sat up in the bed and decided to wander the house once more, hoping that it would somehow tire her out. Kate got up and put on a long oatmeal colored cardigan and some pajama shorts over her white lingerie. She tied up her hair in a messy bun and hopped out of bed.
She quietly made her way downstairs where everything was completely still, shrouded in utter darkness. The wide windows barely afforded any light during this ungodly hour, yet she made her way to the glass doors since they were the only thing she could see.
Turning the handles of the double French doors, Kate stepped outside onto the backyard porch and approached the railing, the wood creaking under her weight. She leaned forward on the white wooden banister, supporting her weight on her forearms, and observed the sights and sounds of the ocean view at night.
Rain clouds had ominously gathered together above in the troposphere, obscuring the waxing moon which offered a dim glow from the night sky. High tide was coming in at this hour and the thunderstorm along with it.
The shoreline was about half a mile away, but the repetitive sound of ocean waves breaking onto the beach was audible from Rick's back porch. The water was more violent than usual due to the storm that was brewing in the night sky. Kate could tell that it was nearby threatening to break at any moment, but she would be protected from any precipitation by the awning overhead.
Even though the stormfront was approaching, Kate didn't move from the spot. There was something so captivating about this scene. The hypnotic rhythm of the waves ebbing and flowing interminably, the sound of crickets chirping in the darkness, the salty ocean breeze that whipped at her hair.
There were natural sights and sounds bombarding her senses from every direction, but to her it was quiet because it wasn't the zooming cars or flashing neon signs typical of New York city nightlife. If the rain clouds weren't dominating the sky, she would be able to see the stars twinkling in the night.
The wind picked up, nipping at Kate's exposed skin and raising goose bumps on her flesh. She shivered and pulled her cardigan closed over her torso since it was a bit chilly due to the ocean breeze. Kate closed her eyes and thought about what it would feel like to have Rick's arms around her, warming her with his embrace on this dark and beautiful stormy night. She imagined pressing her head against his chest, listening to his heart beat its own rhythm against the cyclic frequency of the pulsing waves. She would breathe in his scent, that wonderful familiar musk that was a combination of his cologne and natural smell, unique to only him.
She opened her eyes again, the fantasy disappearing instantly, and sighed. I miss him. There, she admitted it to herself. Kate missed him tremendously in every possible way. She should be happy that they were starting to get along again, but instead it was doing the exact opposite—it made the ache in her heart more painful.
She missed their friendship, their partnership, and their romantic relationship. She missed having that special intimacy and rapport with him, a particular one she never had with anyone else. It was her insecurities about his celebrity persona that drove them apart and now Kate had to suffer the consequences of her actions. She had to live knowing that they were amazing together and that she had ruined it by pushing him away.
Kate had been wrong in her judgment of his character. Sure Rick had done some crazy, wild things with other women in the past and acted like a playboy in public, but that wasn't who he truly was anymore. Rick was so much more than that—loyal, caring, and genuine. He never gave her a reason to doubt his fidelity. He was always there for her and she had kept him out, adamantly pushing him away.
She could see now how much Rick had changed from when they first met and that he really was an incredible man. He was the best thing that has ever happened to her, yet she took him completely for granted and let him slip right through her fingers.
She wanted to believe that she still meant something to him, that their relationship wasn't for nothing. No matter how hard they tried to restore their relationship and friendship however, it would never quite be enough. Kate couldn't help but feel that any relationship she would have in the future would pale in comparison to what she had with Rick.
They might have even had a chance at getting back together but Kate had thoroughly burned all bridges when she accused him of being superficial and not committed. There was no hope for them ever being in a relationship again since Rick said he didn't want to be with her anymore either.
The burden and guilt of that outcome weighed heavily on Kate's heart, knowing that she was the one who broke it off in the first place. The dénouement of their great love story was exactly the same as the exposition, beginning and ending with them just as friends.
Kate remembered the slanderous things she said to him at her apartment when he came by to try to fix things with her. They must have hurt him deeply.
Kate didn't know where to even begin to apologize and make it up to him. She regretted the words that had come from her mouth when she spoke out of hurt and insecurity. Kate wished she could take them all back and make things right between them again but she simply couldn't.
That was why she was standing there, alone, in the middle of the night on a backyard porch looking at an exquisite view meant for two.
Back in his lavishly decorated yet incredibly lonely bedroom, Rick awoke with a parched throat that thirsted urgently for liquid. He trudged downstairs to the kitchen to alleviate his dehydration with a glass of water.
From the kitchen, Rick had heard the French doors in the living room that led to the backyard rattle from a gust of the wind. He went to check that the doors were shut but found them slightly ajar.
Rick pondered the minor mystery. He probably just hadn't closed them properly earlier in the day, leaving them susceptible to the blows of a strong ocean breeze. Rick was about to close the doors and return to his bedroom upstairs when he noticed a familiar silhouette in the distance.
It was Kate reclining on the porch railing, staring placidly out onto the choppy ocean despite the tumultuous weather. Intrigued, he pushed the doors open once more and went outside to meet her.
Kate heard the glass door behind her creak open and she looked over her shoulder to identify the intruder. It was none other than the man who had been on her mind all night, Richard Castle.
"What are you doing out here?" he asked her with a scratchy voice from behind.
Kate shrugged. "I couldn't sleep," she stated plainly, turning her attention back to the churning water again.
Something about thunderstorms fascinated her and seeing the ocean thrash firsthand was even more mesmerizing. Thunderstorms were a brilliant display of the mighty forces of nature yet they brought her a sense of tranquility. She loved seeing bright flashes of supercharged lightning illuminate the sky and hearing deafening booms of thunderclaps shaking the earth.
The stormy weather in all its gloom and doom was commiserating with Kate as she sulked in her despondence. The sound of rain plinking on rooftops and windows would surely drown out the mild melancholy in her own mind. The rain had yet to start, but was readying to fall at any moment.
Rick frowned with concern. He moved forward to join her at the railing, making sure he was an appropriate distance away from her, and adopted a similar stance to hers. They were separated by a good three feet, her figure just out of reach for him.
"Why not? Is your bed uncomfortable?"
"No it's because of that stupid nap I took earlier," Kate grumbled.
"Oh sorry about that," Rick mumbled. Kate didn't sound very pleased so he decided not to inquire further. Rick figured she was just feeling moody due to the weather or insomnia.
She didn't blame him for her nap, but she didn't feel like correcting him either. Kate was still feeling a bit irritable due to her lack of ability to sleep and was angry at herself for letting things fall apart between them.
Kate recalled one particular Saturday back when they were together.
It had been pouring rain for hours that day; every nook and cranny in New York City was drenched in murky water. Instead of doing something productive that day, they decided to return to bed after they had eaten breakfast.
Kate took the opportunity to use every single one of Rick's pillows to construct a pillow fort for herself, completely covering herself in plush cushions.
When Rick approached the bed, he humbly asked if there was any room for him in her pillow palace. Kate grinned deviously as she raised the covers to reveal a spot by her side devoid of pillows, reserved specially for him. Rick was positively giddy as he eagerly climbed into bed and snuggled up to her.
They spent the better part of the day cuddled together, listening to the sound of the rain and holding each other close. She remembered clinging to Rick for warmth, content to just lie there with him in stillness and silence. The weather right now would be perfect for that kind of embrace.
She longed for his physical touch, a sign of compassion from him. Kate wanted to rest her head on his shoulder, since that was the closest form of affection they could share right now that would be within the bounds of their nebulous friendship.
She moved in Rick's direction to get closer but he moved away in response, remembering his rule. Kate paused and tried again but he backed away almost defensively. Her heart sank in her chest.
He was trying to be subtle, but she definitely noticed that he was trying to stay away from her. It only served to confirm her suspicions. He didn't want to be with her or near her anymore. Why did he even bring her here in the first place if he didn't want to be around her?
Rick recoiled upon seeing Kate move towards him. He shifted away slowly until she was out of his reach again, per his self-imposed boundary. They were so close and yet so far away from each other at the same time. Rick wanted nothing more than to be close to her again, to have her and to hold her in his arms.
She's not yours anymore, he reminded himself sadly.
The ache in his heart flared up again and with it a familiar dull and hollow pain. Maybe one day this wouldn't hurt so much. Maybe one day he could stop. Stop what? Loving her? Never!
The thing about love is that if you really love someone, it's either you always will or you never truly did. He knew that he truly loved her and always would.
They exchanged a few more words lazily, neither inclined to engage in much conversation.
"You know this is my favorite part about the house—an ocean view from my backyard," Rick said. "It was the selling point for me."
"You can't really see much at this time of night. And there's a storm coming in," she pointed out the logistical flaws.
He sighed. There was a tone of sullenness in her voice. Rick sensed that she was vexed, possibly because of more than a lack of sleep. He was starting to grow frustrated by her mercurial moods.
Rick thought that by bringing her here it would make her happy, but clearly that was not the case. This trip was pointless if they were just going to continue to be at odds with each other.
They were like ships in the night passing each other by, talking to each other yet saying nothing at all. Soon their conversation lulled for a moment too long and died out completely.
They stood there quietly observing the approaching storm. The silence between them was deafening. A heavy blanket of darkness obscured their faces both forlorn with their own personal misery.
"Why are you here Kate?" Rick questioned, finally breaking the silence. He turned towards Kate to confront her about her intentions.
"I told you, I couldn't sleep," Kate repeated herself.
"No, why are you here. With me in the Hamptons," Rick specified, taking a step in her direction.
"Because you used the super dare. You basically forced me to come here." She pivoted to face him, narrowing her eyes at him. She wanted to make things better between them too and she definitely didn't want to lose him.
Rick frowned. Was that the only reason she was here? Because of the super dare?
"I gave you a choice to make. You could have declined."
"What kind of decision was that? That's hardly a choice. You gave me an ultimatum and I wasn't about to end our partnership over something so trivial." Kate spat angrily, taking another step closer to him.
"That wasn't the point of this trip. Do you even want to be here?" Rick raised his voice with a hint of accusation in his words.
The ocean was tempestuous now, the waves rising violently along with the tensions between them. Intermittent bolts of lightning offered the only source of light in the night, brilliant flashes lighting up the sky for a fraction of a second. Rolls of thunder followed suit, gently quaking the ground. They grew louder as the storm continued brewing in the midnight sky, now at the shoreline.
"Does it matter? We're already here," Kate said dismissively.
Rick sighed in defeat. He could tell that they were on the verge of another argument and he wanted to avoid it at all costs even if it meant aborting his plan.
It was hard to imagine a time when they weren't fighting over something. They had been that way before but now that effortless harmony was absent. Rick took a moment to compose himself.
"Look, I don't want to fight. I'll take you back first thing in the morning if that's what you want," he offered.
"That's not what I want," Kate declared.
"Then what do you want Kate?" Frown lines creased his face, frustration evident in his voice.
She considered his question seriously. They were on the brink of another conflict again like the storm in the sky about to break and she didn't want to fight with him either.
They were standing close enough now that Kate could look into his eyes in the moonlight, and what she saw made the words catch in her throat. All her anger and sadness dissipated in an instant. She saw that tenderness in his eyes again, now mixed with sadness and grief.
This time it was begging her not to push him away again because if she did, it would be for good. She could see the emptiness behind his eyes, that unmistakable look of a man with a broken heart. It made her own heart ache knowing that she was the one who caused him all this pain and grief. It broke her heart to see that she had hurt him like this. She wanted to take it all away, take it back, and kiss it all better.
Kate could only form one word coherently in her mind in response to his question. She felt herself moving towards him, entirely automatically, overcome with the sudden need to have him close once more.
"You," she whispered. Rick thought he was mistaken when he heard the word escape her lips.
"I just want you."
She closed the gap between them and pulled herself towards him, crashing her mouth onto his.
When their lips met, it was like bottled lightning. Electricity shot through their veins as they tasted the sweet ambrosia of each other's kiss once again. The clouds above rumbled as a warm summer rain began to pour down.
She kissed him deeply, conveying all her emotions for him into a single kiss—regret, desire, love. With each kiss she turned his grief into grace. The two paramours held each other close, their hearts beating together as one, and it felt so, so right.
It was a single lingering moment, but one that was warm, honest, and passionate. There was so much conveyed by that fervent, unabashed kiss that spoke volumes beyond words.
They finally broke apart, both panting for breath. She held his face in her hands, her forehead resting lightly against his.
"I'm sorry Castle," Kate whispered in a wavering voice. "I'm so sorry."
He could feel her hot breath on his lips and the raw emotion behind her words.
She was apologizing for everything. For snapping at him and for pushing him away. For judging his character superficially and for taking him for granted. For breaking his heart.
A mixture of emotions swirled inside Rick's head as violently as the ocean waves as he tried to figure out what was happening. He only felt one thing for her in his heart, but his head told him another story. He knew better than to make this mistake again.
This was just pent up frustration and desire bursting from months of driving each other crazy while at each other's throat. Without their friends with benefits arrangement serving as a physical outlet, all that built up tension had collected to insurmountable levels and was now erupting in a tidal wave of passion. Sure, they might want each other back for the night, but in the morning she would hate him for it and their partnership would certainly be destroyed once and for all.
Kate leaned in to meet his lips again but Rick withdrew slightly with hesitance, denying her the pleasure. Kate's heart fell inside her chest instantly when she read his body language. He was rejecting her.
"We should stop," Rick said, surprised by his own words.
"Why?"
Rick scrambled for a plausible reason. "I… I promised you that we would stay just friends."
That phrase again. It was always 'just friends.' Nothing more, nothing less.
Kate sighed exasperatedly. "I'm tired of being just friends. Let's be us again."
They both knew what she meant by 'us.'
'Us' was two individuals who were absolutely crazy about each other. 'Us' was two lost souls trying desperately to find their other half. 'Us' was two fools in love who were too scared to admit it aloud. Selfishness, temptation, and lust got the better of Rick and his virtuous resolve faltered.
She leaned in and started to kiss him again and this time he let her, relishing the long deprived, oft desired ecstasy of her kisses.
Rick's mind was telling him no, but his heart and body were screaming yes. He wanted her so damn badly. Her love was his drug, and he was relapsing hard. He kissed her back passionately, meeting her fervor with a force equal in magnitude of his own.
Rick knew that by giving into his desire, by eating of that deliciously forbidden fruit once more, he was subjecting himself to heartbreak in the morning but he didn't care. He was willing to let her crush his heart into a hundred pieces all over again if it meant that they could be together, for however fleeting a moment. He would give anything to have her for one more night.
They broke apart once more, both enthralled by the sensation of their rekindled passion, but reason rang an alarming bell in Rick's head.
"We can't do this," he said breathlessly.
"Why not? What's wrong?" Kate asked exasperatedly.
"I… don't have any protection," Rick explained.
"You don't?"
"No. I've never brought anyone else here," he admitted. "And this wasn't supposed to happen," Rick added.
Kate was somewhat surprised at his revelation. His admission threw her for a moment, but Kate remembered a detail that he didn't know.
"It doesn't matter. I'm on the pill," she explained.
"Since when?"
"Since… just before you left for Europe. It was supposed to be for us but everything fell apart when you got back…." Her voice trailed off as she referenced their bitter breakup.
"Oh…" He breathed the syllable in a whisper. "Are you sure?" He searched her eyes for any lingering doubt or hesitation.
"Yes," she declared definitively. "I need you. Now," Kate demanded.
They gave into gravity once more, furiously attacking each other with passionate kisses. Neither was willing to deny their bodies what they craved most, in spite of all that had transpired between them during the past few months.
There was desperation in their actions, almost as though if they were to stop, they would lose each other. He needed her breath in his lungs; she needed his essence in her veins.
The storm outside was raging now, lightning bolts splitting the sky and thunder claps shaking the earth, but all they cared about was being together, being with each other again.
"Come on," Rick mumbled in between kisses. "Let's head back inside."
Rick took Kate by the hand and led her back into the house. Once inside, he pushed her against the wall and resumed ravishing her body, tasting the sweet sin of her soft skin. He made his way down her neck to her collarbone with his mouth, paying special attention to her erogenous spots. She reached backward searching for purchase against the wall, finding none, and resorted to clinging to him for support.
Kate dug one hand into his hair and clawed at his back with the other as he trailed a fiery pathway of kisses along her skin. The trail led down to her chest where he nuzzled his face in her bosom, her breasts covered by the satiny fabric of her white bra. He brought his mouth back up to hers and their lips fused as one again in a hungry frenzy. Her hair had fallen from its bun and Rick used the opportunity to finally run his fingers through those gorgeous brunette curls.
She cupped his face in her hands as they greedily devoured each other's mouths, sucking, biting, and nibbling. She slid her fingers through his short brown locks and cradled his head in her arms as she pressed kisses down his jawline to his neck. He breathed in her heavenly scent as she tasted his warm flesh.
He lifted one of her legs and wrapped it around him, repeating the same with the other so that he was holding her up by the waist. She hooked her feet behind him now being fully supported by him. She moaned as he grinded his hips into hers, feeling him beneath the layers of clothes that separated them.
"Bedroom?" Kate said breathlessly.
"Mhmm" Rick grumbled somewhat incoherently in response.
He carefully carried her up the stairs once more, this time with her wrapped around his body like so many times before. They made their way to his bedroom where he set her down gently on his luxurious bed.
Rick yanked his shirt over his head in one fluid motion and discarded it on the floor. He leaned over to meet her lips once more as Kate undid the button and zipper on his khakis, pushing his pants and boxers down simultaneously. Her hands roamed over the naked body that she had been ogling just hours prior.
He pushed her cardigan off her shoulders and helped her out of her shorts, both of which swiftly joined his clothes on the floor. His hands reached behind her and found the clasp of her bra easily. Rick unhooked it deftly and removed her bra, exposing her milky flesh. Next were her panties, the tiny white lace thong, which he seamlessly slid off her long legs. His eyes darkened to a stormy blue full of desire as he appraised her beautiful bare body.
Kate fell backwards on his bed as Rick climbed on top of her with a low growl. He made his way down her body, starting at her clavicle, kissing every inch of her flesh that his mouth met. When he reached her breasts, he took one nipple in his mouth, sucking and tugging the hard nub while his fingers pinched and kneaded its twin. She could feel the molten heat pooling at her core along with the hard evidence of his arousal between her legs. He was dying to be inside her but he wanted to give her even more pleasure first.
Rick traveled further down her pliant body with searing kisses until he reached the apex of her thighs. His tongue found her clit, which he licked and teased eagerly and expertly. She moaned against his skillful ministrations as he continued the wicked deed just the way he knew she liked it. He dipped his tongue into her hot, wet folds, lapping rhythmically as he brought her closer to her peak. She could feel the orgasm mounting as she shuddered with pleasure under him, digging her fingers into his hair.
"Fuck!" she exclaimed loudly. Her body shook with euphoria as she came for the first time that night. Rick relished the sounds of delight that escaped her lips. He climbed forward to meet her mouth with his again, kissing her deeply yet gently.
Rick moved to position himself between her legs, hovering above her. He was already rock hard from watching her get off. He took his member in his hands, stroking the shaft as he prepared to enter her. Their bodies were both humming with electricity in eager anticipation of finally being physically reunited.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Rick asked her one last time. The question was practically pointless. There was no way they could stop themselves from becoming one again. He wanted her. He needed her. He loved her.
"Yes. I need you Rick," she pleaded in a desperate voice.
Kate bit down on her lip to keep a whimper from escaping her lips. Her body ached so badly for him. Rick gladly acquiesced, knowing that he probably didn't even have enough self-control to stop now.
He guided his cock to her entrance and slowly pushed himself into her, filling her to the hilt. They both moaned in unison at the sensation of finally being connected once again in the most intimate way possible.
He groaned as he felt the raw heat and pressure of being inside of her around his bare cock. She moaned at the feeling of being deliciously stretched to accommodate his size and having her ache satisfied with him. It felt so good being intertwined with him and feeling his huge, unsheathed cock inside of her. It was a different sensation altogether from the previous times they had been together using protection.
Rick pulled out until his tip was at her entrance and slid into her once more, as deep as he could go, eliciting a gasp from her. He repeated this motion, establishing a controlled rhythm with her. He wanted to take it slow and steady so that they could enjoy their night of passion for as long as possible. She moaned with every thrust, each one filling her completely and bringing her pure, unadulterated pleasure. He was translating all his frustration, desire, and love into every action, enjoying every sound and move her body made.
"God Kate, you feel so good," he groaned.
Their bodies rocked back and forth in sync with each other as they moved together. They felt like one together. This wasn't just sex to him. It was love. He was telling her how much he loved her without using any words. It was love in its purest, rawest, most carnal form.
Rick took her hand and lifted it above her head, lacing her fingers with his. He kept his eyes trained on hers, occasionally dipping down to meet her lips with a long, drugging kiss. He loved being above her like this, having control over her orgasms and the power to give her incredible amounts of pleasure.
Rick picked up the pace now, thrusting into her with greater speed. Her breathing was becoming ragged as he brought her closer to climax once again. She panted and gasped with every powerful stroke that pounded into her body, clawing at his back and clinging to him desperately. His breathing was becoming equally as labored as he continued making love to her passionately.
When his thrusts matched the thunder outside, it was as if they were shaking the earth with their lovemaking. Their bodies were soon slick with sweat as they ravished each other relentlessly.
"Oh god Rick," she whimpered. He almost lost it hearing her say his name like that. He could tell she was close by the sound of her moans and the way her body was quivering.
"Fuck Katie," he grunted, nearing the edge himself too. It took everything Rick had to keep himself from exploding right then.
With the last of his willpower and endurance he increased their tempo once more, slamming into her even harder with full force. Her body started to tremble as she came closer and closer to the proverbial edge, ready to fall at any moment. One final thrust pushed her off the edge and she came hard for the second time that night with one of the most powerful orgasms she had ever experienced.
"Oh my god Rick," she cried out. Her back arched off the bed into him as she writhed in ecstasy, waves of pleasure overcoming her body.
The feeling of her walls clenching down sent him flying off the edge after her as they climaxed together into perfect consummate bliss.
"Oh fuck Kate," he let out a guttural moan as he came, bucking his hips into Kate's and spilling himself into her.
Endorphins flooded their brains as they experienced that unique, ethereal feeling of making love to the one they loved. It was the best drug that nature had to offer and they were getting plenty high off of each other. He pumped into her a few more times, drawing out her orgasm and finishing inside of her, and then pulled out.
Panting and heaving for oxygen, they shared a few more kisses in between gasping breaths. He gave her one last, long kiss before flipping back onto his side of the bed, completely spent and depleted of energy. They lay side by side wordlessly, intoxicated with dopamine and serotonin, while their breathing returned to a normal pace amidst the noise of the fierce storm that raged on outside.
Kate sighed with thorough satisfaction and satiation. She hadn't felt this content in months, physically or emotionally, not since before Rick left for his book tour. Rick too relished the moment of bliss, his body completely satisfied from finally making love to Kate again.
This was the moment of stillness when the world stopped and the only thing that mattered was the two of them being together. This was the moment he wanted to last forever. That fleeting reverie was interrupted when Kate sat up, reaching for something at the end of the bed.
Rick thought she was searching for her clothes and getting ready to leave. He didn't want her to go. If this was their last time ever being together, he wanted to have her to himself for the entire night. Crushing his heart all over again would have to wait until morning.
"Kate, will you stay with me tonight? Please?" Rick asked in a quiet voice. There was a heartbreaking pleading in his voice.
She turned to look at him with a gentleness in her expression that he barely caught in the dim moonlight.
"I wasn't going to leave," she said softly, assuaging his doubts.
Kate tugged the golden brocade sheets towards them to cover their unclothed bodies as she lay back curled up in his arms, finally being allowed the warmth of his loving embrace. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close, never wanting to let her go.
She listened to the rhythm of his heartbeat against the pitter pattering of rain on the windows. The steady rise and fall of his chest and the security of his arms brought her serenity as exhaustion quickly settled in on both of them. Sleep in all of its rejuvenating wonder came as they fell asleep in each other's arms, entwined in a lover's embrace.
And for that night, if only for one night, they were each other's again.
Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
A/N: Woohoo, the longest and probably best chapter of the story. I like writing significant scenes from the show into the story. It makes the fic more true to the show and "Always" is my favorite episode (FYI, that's the third finale that I've written into the story if you didn't notice. S2 finale was obvious, S3 finale very subtle, and now S4 of course). Sorry if the last scene wasn't as detailed as the first half of the chapter and the previous chapter. My smut writing is quite rusty. I hope you enjoyed reading!
