"I've got to say… you guys are adorable." Olaf laughed from the front seat. Kristoff scoffed slightly in the front, driving his red pick-up truck. Time was going by so fast and everything was such a blur. Once Anna and Elsa had arrived back from their vacation, they told the news to Belle, Kristoff and Olaf about how they were officially together. At first, Kristoff was iffy about it, but Belle and Olaf accepted it with open arms. During their winter break, the five of them left for New York, where they spent it all together celebrating Christmas and New Years.
"It's like you're saying you would ship them to China or something." Kristoff breathed. He was able to warm up to Anna and their relationship during their winter break. In fact, if Anna wasn't spending time with Elsa, she would be spending time with Kristoff instead.
"I ship them!" Belle cheered in the back of the pick-up truck.
"Aye! Ship em forever." Olaf and Belle laughed. Kristoff chuckled in the driver's seat while Elsa placed her face into her hands.
"Ole little Romeo here is blushing!" Belle said smugly, resulting in a snort from Olaf.
"Since when does Elsa not blush?" Olaf turned his head and saw Belle shrug her shoulders. Belle leaned towards Elsa and poked her blue and white flannel covered shoulder. Her attire was just skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, a white and blue checkered flannel and a pair of navy blue slippers. Elsa was very basic indeed.
"We need to buy you more clothes honey." Belle said, looking Elsa up and down at her attire. Elsa lifted her face from her hands and turned towards Belle. She wore a blue casual short dress and white flats.
"I'm sorry not all of us can be as fashionable as you Belle." Elsa rolled her eyes while Olaf butted in.
"Belle, she does go shopping to buy clothes." Olaf pointed out. Belle looked at him and judged his attire up and down. He just wore a black Vans sweater and a pair of denim washed jeans with his usual black vans.
"Yea… I can see where she gets her clothing advice from." Belle joked while Olaf huffed.
"She doesn't look that bad!"
"To be honest, she doesn't. But, I swear I saw her wear that white shirt at least nine times on our trip. I'm just saying that she needs more clothes, that's all. It would definitely save more water and you guys would have to do less loads."
"She's gone shopping with Anna." Kristoff jumped into the conversation.
"You guys all know that they don't even go shopping. They probably just make out in the dressing room or something." Belle said bluntly, causing Kristoff and Olaf to burst out laughing while Elsa's face turned red.
"We don't do that…" Elsa mumbled, causing Belle to look at her with a raised eyebrow and a disbelieved face.
"So you guys fuck in the dressing room? Well, that's not classy of you. You guys must've really wanted it then." Olaf snorted again while Kristoff kept laughing, almost swerving into the other lane.
"Focus on the road Kristoff!" Elsa yelled. Kristoff just chuckled and brought his shoulder up to wipe his tears that were falling. Kristoff had decided to wear a black tee-shirt with some kind of Nike saying on it as well as his signature light blue basketball shorts and his matching vans with Olaf.
"Yea man! We need to make sure Romeo gets to see her Juliet. "Olaf snickered. Belle just laughed and shook her head while Kristoff nodded his head in agreement.
"Hey Elsa!" Elsa turned around to see Kristoff and Olaf run to her. She was getting ready to leave to the cafeteria until her two best friends spotted her.
"Hey guys! Let's get food, I heard it was spaghetti!" Elsa said happily, a smile perched upon her face.
"Where's Belle?" Olaf asked, searching behind Elsa to see if their third friend was there.
"She said she had some kind of book club meeting." Elsa laughed at how Kristoff scrunched up his nose in disgust. Olaf simply nodded his head in understanding.
"Well, Olaf and I have a basketball meeting right now, so we can't make it to lunch either." Kristoff said.
"Oh…" Elsa said, her smile faltering.
"Sorry Els. But, you could spend time with you know." Olaf gave a suggestive wink at Elsa, causing her to pale slightly. Kristoff laughed at her reaction and smiled slightly.
"We'll see you after lunch for our next class?" Olaf asked. Elsa nodded her head and motioned for her friends to leave. They smiled sadly at her before turning on their heel and leaving.
Elsa let out a breath and turned around, starting to make her way over to the cafeteria. But, a voice stopped her from doing so.
"You have very busy friends." Elsa turned around and was met with teal eyes that shined in the fluorescent lighting of the school hallway. Elsa's breath was taken away when she saw her. All she needed to wear were blue denim ripped shorts and her navy blue jacket zipped up to take Elsa's breath away. Anna laughed at her reaction and kicked herself off the locker that she was leaning on. She then slowly made her way to her girlfriend, her slippers slapping against the white tiled floor of the hallway.
Elsa stood there with a love-sick smile plastered on her face. Anna laughed and brought out a pink lunch box from behind her back.
"I brought us some lunch! Maybe we could skip going to the cafeteria for today and head up to…" Anna started. Elsa simply smiled and nodded her head, reaching over to grab Anna's left hand. Anna looked up with a small smile on her face as the two of them walked in the opposite direction of the cafeteria.
"Your cooking is amazing." Elsa moaned, causing Anna to simply smile. The two of them sat next to each other, Anna snuggled to Elsa's side on a wooden bench. They were surrounded with a variety of flowers. There were things such as roses, lilies, lavender, sunflowers, plumeria and more. The school's little garden that was hidden from everyone else. But, Anna was able to have her connections with the people who ran it, allowing her access to it.
"And you make an amazing smoothie." Elsa sighed happily. Anna just laughed lightly in response.
"Thanks." She said. Elsa pulled out a chocolate covered strawberry and placed it near Anna's mouth, who got the message and opened it. Elsa smiled and fed the strawberry to her, feeling her lips lightly brush against Elsa's fingers.
"We're almost done with senior year..." Elsa started while Anna nodded her head.
"Time has gone by so fast." Anna mumbled, leaning her head against Elsa's right shoulder.
"We'll be going to college before you know it." Elsa laughed slightly.
"Do you know which one you're going to attend?" Anna asked. Elsa shook her head.
"Not really and even if I go to a completely different college then you, we aren't going to break up. Like I said, I'm never running away." Elsa mumbled. Anna sighed and closed her eyes, smelling Elsa's scent of snow and vanilla.
"All these years, I've treated you like shit and all I did was say sorry that other time, which was never enough. And you're still here for some reason… why?" Anna asked; her breath shaky. Elsa remembered that day when she asked Anna to be her girlfriend. They went back to the cabin and watched movies all night.
Anna yawned, her head placed on Elsa's lap. They were watching a comedy on the small flat screen television. A blanket was placed over Anna as she laid on the couch with her head on Elsa's lap. Elsa sat there with her feet on the ground, toying with Anna's hair.
Elsa could tell that Anna was slowly slipping into the dream land due to her breathing. Eventually, both Elsa and Anna fell into deep sleep on the love seat. That was until about two hours later, when Anna started tossing and turning, murmuring things under her breath in her sleep. Elsa slowly woke up due to the episode happening on her lap. She looked down at Anna to see her toss and turn a bit more than before, murmuring more things. Eventually, tears started to slowly roll down Anna's cheeks and Elsa frowned slightly.
"Anna?" Elsa said, gently placing her hand on Anna's shoulder. Though, she never responded and kept tossing.
"Anna!" Elsa yelled, causing Anna to suddenly awaken. She sat up quickly, causing the top of her head to hit Elsa's chin roughly. Elsa emitted a yelp as Anna to quickly turn her head and place her hands underneath Elsa's chin.
"Shit, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" Anna moved Elsa's face around, checking for any type of bruise or injury.
"I'm fine Anna, don't worry about it." Elsa laughed slightly, causing Anna to frown and continue to inspect Elsa's face.
"Are you sure?" Anna said worriedly. Elsa just chuckled and grabbed both of Anna's wrists with each hand.
"I'm sure Anna. I'm just worried about you though." Elsa looked at Anna. Anna just sighed and shrugged her shoulders.
"I just had a bad nightmare." Elsa raised an eyebrow at her in disbelief.
"Fine. It's just that… I had a nightmare that you left because I didn't say something I should've said a long time ago…" murmured Anna.
"Which is?" Elsa breathed.
"It's a simple stupid word that I don't think even makes up for all the things that happened before and…"
"Anna?..."
"I'm sorry Elsa. I'm sorry for everything I've done to you and I'm so—"Elsa's lips crashed onto Anna's, causing her words to stop. They pulled away after a few seconds. Elsa looked into Anna's eyes and placed her hands on the sides of Anna's face.
"I understand Anna… And I've forgiven you a long while ago." She whispered, causing Anna's eyes to water slightly. A couple of tears rolled down her soft cheeks and Elsa used the pad of her thumb to wipe them away. She then continued.
"We'll make this work okay?" Anna simply nodded her head, smiling through her tears.
"Because Anna… I believe that people deserve second chances. I believe that you weren't the person that Kristoff and Olaf thought you were throughout these years. I mean at first, I had a side where it told me to just give up on you and I did. But, there was a small part inside of me, somewhere inside that told me that you could change and you did. After that night, you were someone different in my eyes Anna. And even though you have your little flaws, you're still perfect in my eyes. You try your best and you fight for what you want, which is one reason why I fell for you." Elsa watched Anna pout slightly.
"You still never answered my question as to why you never left." Elsa smiled and laughed slightly in response.
"Well, we've been through all this shit together. We've been through a ride of miscommunications and I've ran too much already. I realize now that I can't run from my problems. I also realized that you complete me Anna. I thought I was okay without you in my life but you changed me into a better person Anna. You taught me to fight for what I want and never give up. You taught me to face my fears, knowing that there'll be someone out there to understand." Elsa finished. She watched Anna nod her head slowly, taking in what Elsa's had just stated.
Anna nodded her head and smiled slightly. She leaned her body towards Elsa and placed her head on her right shoulder. Elsa pulled Anna closer and placed her cheek on the top of Anna's head as well.
"Why are you still with me?" Elsa asked, causing Anna to just laugh in disbelief.
"You shouldn't even need to ask that question." Elsa rolled her eyes.
"Are you going to answer… or naw?" Anna laughed at the song Elsa was referencing.
"Well… when I'm around you, I can act myself you know? You make me feel comfortable and you accept me for who I am. You don't expect anything out of me like everyone else does. You changed me for the better and every time I'm around you, I lose my train of thought. It's like one moment, I know what to say but then you come along and my brain turns into mush. You radiate this kind of aura from you, where you don't really care how people think of you and I admire that about you. You're sweet, independent, smart and I'm lucky to have you in my life. You love me for who I am and you accept me, which is why I love you."
"That's cute." Elsa chuckled, causing Anna to frown. A comfortable silence clung in the air as the two of them just looked ahead, taking in their environment. Finally, Anna started the conversation again.
"Two more months…" Anna smiled slightly, feeling Elsa chuckle above her and slightly play with a strand of her hair. Elsa twirled the strand of strawberry blonde hair around her index finger.
"What are you more excited for? The family dinner or senior prom?" Elsa asked. She knew Anna was rolling her eyes from that question.
"The family dinner of course! I can't wait to meet your parents." Anna mumbled, causing Elsa to nod her head.
"My parents are excited to meet you as well. Did you tell yours about the dinner thing?"
"Yea… They called me stupid and told me to invite you to dinner tonight." Elsa laughed softly at Anna's blunt statement.
"Did you tell them no like I asked you to?"
"Mmmhm. I told them they have to wait and meet your parents as well. They called me a dumbass. Obviously, they're eager to meet you." Elsa laughed again, causing Anna's heart to quicken. For some reason, Elsa's laugh was like music to her ears. Elsa with her little actions drove Anna crazy in a positive way.
"I'm already loving your parents." Elsa tucked the strand behind Anna's ear. Anna felt Elsa's fingertips brush against her earlobe and slowly slid down towards her neck, giving Anna the chills.
"It's probably going to be the best weekend ever. Senior Prom is going to be on the Saturday while our dinner will be on Sunday. I feel like it'll go well." Anna yawned. Elsa sat up slowly and gently fidgeted in her seat. Anna knew what she was trying to do and smiled, lifting her head up from Elsa's shoulder as she watched Elsa move all the way at the end of the bench. Anna scooted over closer and kissed Elsa's cheek softly. She then placed her head on Elsa's lap and swung her feet on the bench.
"I bet you that Belle, Olaf and Kristoff planned this all. They probably lied about having meetings so that I could dedicate my lunch time with you."
"They don't have to do that. I don't want them to think that I'm taking you away from them…" Anna started. Elsa sighed and shrugged her shoulders, running her fingers through Anna's hair.
"I'm glad that they support us though. I'm also glad that you're getting along with them." Elsa laughed.
"I'm surprised that I'm really close with Kristoff now. I remember how he use to hate my guts and now, me and him are bros. We understand each other and crack the most stupid jokes." Anna's laugh was weak.
"Yea, I remember when you guys teamed up together to go against that big guy that shot me in that paintball match. You guys were so confident about it all and one look at him made you guys run for your lives." Anna's eyelids started to get a bit heavy.
"And that time we teamed up to prank Olaf. Gosh, I'm surprised he was able to get all that green out of his hair." Elsa nodded her head, recalling the memory.
"But, I don't want anyone to take you away from me." Elsa pouted. Anna shook her head from Elsa lap and mumbled; her voice barely audible.
"No one is ever going to take me away from you. I will always be yours Elsa." Anna yawned again. Elsa looked down and smiled at her beautiful girl.
"I love you Anna. Get some rest now baby." Elsa leaned down and kissed her forehead, watching Anna's eyelids close and her breathing become soft and shallow. Elsa leaned back on the bench and smiled. Everything was perfect now and her and Anna were in love. Everything felt different with Anna around. Elsa felt like a better person around Anna. Anna taught her things she never thought of and no matter how busy life got for Elsa; Anna would never leave her mind. If she got a dollar for every time she thought of Anna, she would probably only get a couple of bucks, due to having Anna barley leave her mind.
"Do you really have to go?" Olaf frowned, seeing Belle sadly smile at her friends. They all stood there, decked out in yellow clothing. Belle had a thing for the color yellow, so they decided to all wear yellow as a farewell to her.
"Sadly…" Belle sighed, the only person not wearing yellow out of the five of them. Instead, she wore long skinny jeans and a baby blue v-neck.
"You know… you can always stay here." Kristoff started.
"No, I have to go back. I need to see my family again and the school is fine with me going back."
"Or you can always have the option of staying?" Elsa mumbled, having her arm wrapped around Anna's waist. Belle turned her gaze towards the couple and sadly smiled at them.
"You can never progress if you just stay in one place." Belle said, examining the couple up and down.
"Belle, we're all going to miss you, but you can always cancel your flight! You still have senior prom here, which is coming up… and graduation! Wouldn't you think it's a bit odd to just go back to your old school when your senior year is almost over?" Anna pleaded, watching Belle chuckle and shake her head. Then, a voice went over the speakers throughout the airport.
"Flight number 24, please start boarding." And that's when everyone stiffened. Belle curved her lips downward in a frown. She looked at all of her friends one last time and sadly smiled at them. Kristoff was the first one to step up, hugging Belle and whispering something in her ear, causing her to laugh and smile. He pulled away as Olaf stepped up and hugged her. Belle knew that Olaf didn't need to say anything because he said what he needed to yesterday.
Then, Elsa stepped up and went over to Belle, wrapping her arms around Belle's neck and placing her chin on her right shoulder. Belle smiled and wrapped her arms around Elsa's waist, her breath trickled Elsa's right ear as she whispered silently to her.
"I know that you and Anna will last. You guys make each other better and I just want to let you know that. Don't listen to whatever anyone else has to say. Follow your heart, not other people's expectations." Belle pulled away and watched Elsa take a breath and nod her head, closing her eyes and absorbing in her words. Elsa stepped back and looked down onto the ground, finding that more entertaining than what was going on right now.
Anna steps up and pulls Belle into a hug. They all started rough with Anna, but after a bit of time together, they had grown comfortable with her. Belle smiles at her gesture and leans into Anna's hug. She takes a breath and whispers softly in her ear.
"Hey, take care of her okay? She thinks she's all macho and tough, but she isn't always sometimes. You're lucky to have her." Anna nodded her head and pulled away. Belle smiled gently at Anna before looking at all her friends. She grabbed her suitcase and took a long look at them one last time before making her way to the plane.
"Elsa, hurry up!" Olaf yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"I'm right here." Elsa arrived with an apple in her hand, giving Olaf a quizzical look. Olaf tilted his head in confusion and looked back upstairs.
"Wait, if you're down here… Who's up there?" Elsa rolled her eyes in response and took a bite of her apple.
"Kristoff needs to look as spiffy as possible. This is our senior prom remember?" Elsa pointed out. Olaf simply sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Well… We need to pick up our dates and be there on time. We shouldn't be running ten minutes late because of this oaf."
"I'm sure he'll be down in five minutes." The shower upstairs started running. Olaf groaned and ran a hand through his hair. He then marched up the stairs and made his way towards the bathroom while Elsa just giggled and made her way over to the couch. She sat down and grabbed her phone, making sure she looked decent enough for this occasion.
