Helia pov
After dinner we head to the beach on the F-Flight. When we land Layla scream happily and runs out of the ship.
"The beach!" Layla screams while running to the water with her board.
"Layla don't run. You might trip." Nabu shouts after her.
"We'll let you guys have your fun then it's game time." Zoe says.
"Later guys." Flora says while taking my hand to the sand.
"Flora the water is so nice here. Not too warm, not too cold." Layla says while swimming about.
"All of the water here is filtered so all the plants have water. Some plants need it super cold others need warm water." Flora explains while laying on a towel.
I lay down next to her and she curls in my chest. She uses her powers to place a huge leave over us to cover us from the sun. I lay her head on my chest and play with her hair. After 10 minutes Flora get up so she can go swimming with the others. I go with the other to play frisbee.
"You know that her sisters are watching you right?" Riven asks.
"I know." I answer as I see the sister under a tree, watching me like hawks.
"You need to tell Flora." Brandon says.
"I don't want ruin her day by her sisters. They always ruin everything for, I want her to enjoy and relax before the ceremony. If they don't do anything crazy then I'll tell her." I explain.
"Boys come on I got a surprise!" Flora screams while getting out of the water.
"What is it?" Brandon asks.
"Toys." Flora says while running to her guards.
"Toys?" We all ask in shock.
We look to see Flora and 5 other guards on these tricked out motorcycles. One for each of us. Flora and the guards pull up in front of us and get off.
"You like them." Flora asks.
"Yeah." Sky and Brandon agree.
"They're bad ass." Riven and Musa agree.
"Come on Layla. I wanna race you." Flora says while getting on the purple one.
"Wait for me Flora." Layla shouts as she gets on the blue one.
"Layla, Flora, be careful!" Me and Nabu shout at them.
They smile at us as they race off on the beach. We all take turns racing on the beach Layla and Flora winning every time. We see her family walk on the beach as me and Flora move to the starting line. Bloom holds her blue bandana then drops it after 5 seconds. Me and Flora put the pedal to the metal as we as speed off to the finish line. Flora beats me by a mile. She gets off and gets hugs from the girls. Her family cheer as they walk to us.
"Nice job princess." Julian says while hugging her.
"Thank dad. Ready to do this?" Flora says while smiling.
"Bring it." Zoe says with a light grin.
You know the rules." Flora says while taking the ball from Mark's hands.
"Yep. 6 on 1. If it's out, than it's out. You can and may use hand, legs, heads, and feet to play with. And the loser must obey the rules of the bet." Geoff explains.
"Wait why is it 6 on 1?" I ask in confusion.
"Because she beat all of us one on one so we thought it would be easier to beat her 6 one 1." Alex explains while walking to the playing field.
"Winner goes first." Marks says.
"Delko and Conner calls the outs." David says while looking at the two guards on either side of the net.
"Flora ready." One of the guards says.
"Ready!" Flora shouts happily.
"Loser, I mean opponents ready." The other guards says while laughing slightly.
"Shut up." Her family shouts annoyed.
Both guards blow a whistle and Flora gets read to serve. She tosses the ball in the air, leaps up and kicks it with her foot with a cry. The ball goes back and forth rapidly and fiercely. Timmy and Techna pull out some gadget and points it at the court.
"The speedometer can't even tell how fast the ball is going." Techna says in shock.
Finally Flora spikes the ball earning herself 2 points. She give her family a determined look before she winks to me. her dad rolls the ball to her while grumbling something. Flora stops the ball with her foot and serves it. She leaps in the air with as much grace as a dancer and spikes the ball so hard I can hear the smack from here. Mark misses by like an inch, giving Flora 3 points. She smirks as the ball rolls to her again.
"Come on dad, give up now." She teases while laughing.
"Laugh it up cub." Zoe says to her.
"But the cub is kicking your butt." Flora smiles at her own joke.
"Just serve." Julian shouts.
As the game goes on her opponents score keeper pulls out his phone and I think starts texting. The score is now 15 to 0 with Flora winning. Flora's score keeper calls match point.
"Helia, this one for you sweetie." Flora calls out to me.
"You got it Flora." I cheer her on.
She drops the ball to her foot and stand so her back is facing the score keeper. She puts her head down then looks up with red eyes. Not red from crying but red as in her panther state.
"Times to unleash the freak." She purrs while kicking the ball up to serve.
As the ball moves faster and faster on the field my eyes stay glued on Flora. She flips, and turns so beautifully it's hypnotic. She leaps in the air, turls twice, and kicks the ball over the net, landing in the center of the opponents part of the field. She unfortunately lands on her side instead of her feet. She watches as her uncles and dad scramble to hit the ball but fail. She pops up happily and dances. She runs over to us and I hug her tightly.
"I won!" She cheers while hugging me tightly.
"You did and you were amazing." I reply while kissing her head.
"Hey Stella, there's a new mall built 20 minutes away. Wanna go?" Flora asks while smirking to her dad.
"Does the sun shine?" Stella asks while laughing with glee.
"Do I have to carry anything?" Brandon asks.
"No. But they do." Flora says while pointing at her dad and uncles.
"Why do I have the feeling that I'll kill Zoe later." David asks while glaring at Zoe.
"You will. Last one to the car a rotten flower petal!" Flora shouts as she runs to the car.
We laugh as we chase after her. This will be a long day.
