Sorry for the spelling mistakes and the lateness of this chapter. I have had a bad bit of writers block again.

This will only have a few more chapters I think, I don't think that there is anything else that I can add in to this story, but if there is anything you want me to write then let me know on here or on Twitter WalAbigail.

Chapter 18

Days and weeks went by, but John was still him is coma. Emmett had stayed with his mum, so that she was not alone. He and Kieron where still planning some of their wedding, but they where doing it at a slow pace.

They had decided on a Christmas wedding, but with John taking ill they had to cancel it, until the next year. Kieron had been with Emmett and Jackie every day, since they had found out about John.

Emmett was grateful, that Kieron was with him when he was like this. Kieron had phoned up their boss Sean, and told him that they would need a bit of time off, as Emmett's dad is ill. Sean had told him not to worry as they has planned a storyline where 'Brendan and Ste, had gone on holiday for a while'.

Everyday Emmett and Kieron, had went to the hospital to see John. When they get there after going home the previous nights, they would get to John's room and find doctors doing tests on him. But the doctors had no new information stilling he was getting better or if he was getting worser than he originally was.

The days that Emmett and Kieron didn't go to the hospital, they would go to a near by church and they would pray for him to get better. They would go there every Tuesday and Sunday. They would often take Jackie with them, but she had stopped going with them and she stayed at the hosptal.

It was a late Saturday night, both Emmett and Kieron where sitting on the couch snuggled together in the living room. Emmett's phone had rung, he had seen that it was his mam and he answered the call.

* Emmett and Jackie's phone call*

" Hey mam, how are you"

" I'm ok son, how are you and Kieron"

" Where good, is there any news on dad yet"

" Well when I was in his room before, the machines had started to go funny. So I called for the nurses and they rushed me out of the room and they told me that he was having at fit"

" Oh god, are you back in his room"

" Yeah I am, but your dad is in surgery. They had found a bleed in his brain and they also found a very bad bleed in his stomach"

" Mam, do you want me to come and pick you up, or are going to stay at the hospital until he comes out of surgery"

" I willl stay here for a couple of minutes until he is back in his room. But I will phone you with anymore infomation"

" Yeah okay mam, love you"

" Love you too son"

* End of phone call*

When Emmett had put done the phone, he got pulled in to another hug by Kieron and he cried his eyes out. Kieron had started whispering soft words into Emmett's ear so that he would calm down.

" Emmett babe, what did your mam say to you"

" She told me that my dad, had a bleed in his stomach and he also had a bleed on the brain and that they are in surgery trying to sort it out"

"Oh my god baby, I'm so sorry to hear that"

" It's okay babe. She said that she would call me if his symptoms had changed"

" If you wnat me to do anything Emmett, then let me know and I can do it for you"

" Can, you just hold me Kieron"

" Yeah babe, course I can"

Kieron had pulled Emmett, in to another hug and the both of them cried their eyes out. When they had stopped crying, they tided themselves up a bit, and they caried on watching the tv, while holding each others hands.

They had woken up the next day at 8:30am. Kieron had got off the sofa and he went to make himself and Emmett a cup of coffee. Emmett has looked at his phone, and had seen that he had a few missed calls of Jackie.

When Kieron had brought through Emmett's cup, he put it down on the table and walked back into the kitchen when he had seen that his boyfriend was call Jackie about John.

* Emmett and Jackie's phone call"

" Hey mam, sorry I never answered you calls last night, I had fallen to sleep. is there any new news on dad"

" Emmett son, I'm sorry to say this, but your dad had died last night after he was in surgery"

' When Jackie had told him this, he put his phone down on the table and he ran to the bathroom to be sick'

" Emmett are you there, hello is anyone there"

" Jackie it's me Kieron, Emmett has gone to the bathroom"

" Kieron, could you please tell Emmett, that I am heading back to Dublin tonight, and that I am staying with his Auntie"

" Yeah I will do, I'm sorry for your loss"

" Thank you for your support son, please can you make sure that you will look after him from now on"

" Yes of course I will. and i will tell him that you are going back tonight"

" Bye Kieron"

" Bye Jackie"

* End of phone call*

When the phone call had ended, Kieron had put the phone back down on the table. He had seen that Emmett, was now back in the living room. Emmett had walked up to Kieron, they had sat down on the sofa and they hugged again, and Emmett started to cry again.

" What did my mum say to you, after she had spoken to me"

" She said that she was going back to Dublin, and that she was going to stay ate your Aunties"

" Kieron, I want to go back to Dublin on my own to stay with my mam of a bit"

" Yeah okay babe, you go and pack yourself a bag and I will phone up Sean now, and I will tell him that your going away for a while has you have a family emergency that you need to sort out"

" Thank you for doing this Kieron, helping me like this, it means so much to me and it makes me love you ever more"

" It's ok, and I love you so much, now go and pack your bag"

When Emmett had got off the sofa, Kieron had picked up his phone, and he called Sean, and he told him that Emmett was going back to Dublin for a while so that he could stay with his mam for a bit.

Sean had understood what Kieron was saying to him. Sean had told Kieron, that they could both take time off, Sean had also said that he was sorry for their loss and he hoped that everything was ok.

When the phone call had ended, Kieron had went to the bedroom and had seen that Emmett was crying again. Kieron went up to him, he sat on the end of the bed and he hugged him very tightly.

Emmett had looked a flight to Dublin for tonight, so that when he was at the airport his mum would be there as well and they would be able to get on the plane with each other. Kieron had looked at Emmett and they both pressed their lips together for a while, Kieron had then go off the bed and he went to make some for Emmett to eat before he go on the plane.

After they had finished eating, Kieron had asked Emmett if he was getting a taxi to the airport of he was wanting a lift down there. Emmett had looked at Kieron and he said to him that he was wanting a lift to the airport.

Kieron had said ok, Emmett had picked up his bag, and he walked outside to get a bit of fresh air, and he was also waiting for Kieron to hurry up as he knew that he would be washing the dishes before they had to leave for the airport.

When Kieron had locked up the house, he got to the car and they both of them had got inside. Kieron had started the car up and he drove off to the airport.

When they had pulled up at the airport, Kieron had pulled in to a car park space. The both of them had got out of the car, Kieron had took hold of Emmett's bag and he took hold of Emmett's hand with his free hand.

As they where walking inside, Kieron could see that Emmett was fighting back his tears. When they had got to the check in desk, they had seen that Jackie was there, both Kieron and Emmett had went up to hug her and they pulled away just in time as flight for Dublin was called for.

Emmett and Kieron had kissed each other on the lips passionately, like they did not want to stop. They had pulled away from each other and they both gave one another loving smiles. Emmett had walked through the gate, and he looked back at Kieron, he put his phone to his ear, and that's when Kieron knew that Emmett was going to call him when he had landed in Dublin.

'1 month later'

It's been a hard month for Emmett and Kieron, with Emmett's dad's funeral and with Kieron not getting allowed in to Dublin, for supposedly carrying drugs in. But no matter how many times he had told them that they where, tablets for his stressing problems and he had the prescription for them but they just did not want to know about it. But they did get in contact with Kieron's doctors but his permission and that's when they had fully apologised to him.

But it was not enough to get him in to Dublin, to be with his boyfriend while he was hosting his dad's funeral with his mam. But they still kept in contact with each other all day and all night, Kieron had told him that he had managed to phone up Ela's and Reuben's parents and they said to him that they were allowed to come to the wedding and that they were allowed to be apart of it. Emmett had told him that he managed to get Jay Duffy in the wedding as well, as he was going to be best man for the both of them.

'Present day'

Today was the day that Emmett was coming home from Dublin, with his mam Jackie. While she and Emmett where in Dublin, she had asked him if it would be ok of she could stay with them for a while, until she had found some where better to stay after she had sold the house that she and John used to live in. He had said yes and once he had told Kieron this, even Kieron had said yes as well.

It was a late Friday night/ early Saturday morning, and someone was banging on the front door. Kieron woke up and he looked at his phone, and had seen that the time was 12:30am, he got out of bed and he walked up to the front door.

He had shouted through the front door and he asked who it was, as soon as he heard Emmett's voice. He had taken the chain off the door and he opened it. When Emmett had walked in, he pulled Kieron in to a crushing passionate kiss like they had not seen each other in years. A cough from behind Emmett had stopped them at what they where doing, Kieron had seen that it was Jackie and she had a smile on her face.

Emmett had told her which room she was staying in and she walked doen to it, Emmett had sat down on the sofa and Kieron had sat in his lap. Kieron had wrapped his arms around Emmett's neck and they started kissing each other passionately and Emmett had managed to place his hands on Kieron's waist while not breaking the kiss.

When they had stopped kissing, they had pulled way from one another and they smlied at each other. They had looked in to each others eyes and they laughed at each other, Emmett had took hold of Kieron's hand and he guided him to their bedroom.

When they had got to the bedroom, they where planning on having sex with each other, for when Emmett came back. But they could not be bothered as they where both tired, and they wanted to relax in each others company. Emmett had stripped out of his clothes, and he got under the bed and Kieron had done the same. They had wrapped their arms around each other, and they talked about what they had done while they had not been in each other company.

Kieron had said that he had planned some of the wedding with the help of both Ashley's, both Emmett and Kieron had still needed to decied a date for their wedding, they had both said the dates of their birthdays, but Kieron had then said valentines day. The both of them had said that they would talk more about it in the morning, they both stopped talking and they started to closed their eyes and they fell to sleep.
