The Sisters' Family Vacation:
Boscha's Rage: Part 3

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T GET THROUGH!" Boscha screamed at her friends.

When she heard the noise near the portal door, she hurried over. She wasn't all that surprised to find her friends were there already. What had surprised her was the former Oracle Head working to remove a barrier surrounding the door.

"Boscha," Willow said calmly, "keep your voice down. We don't want to disturb Mister Cutburn."

Boscha snapped her head in Willow's direction and glared murderously at her. Willow wasn't affected by the glare and just walked away, Gus following behind her. Boscha watched as they left and snapped her head around when Skara walked up to her.

"Boscha, please calm down," the bard pleaded gently. "I know it's tough, but you're not helping with your outbursts."

Boscha looked at the portal door, cut off from her due to one of Odalia's tricks, and her anger began to boil. She wanted nothing more than to storm over to the oracle and demand him to speed things up.

She glared at Skara when she felt her place a hand on her shoulder.

"Boscha," the bard said sympathetically, "I know what it's like; I could do nothing as my mom was taken from me. It's hard, but you're not alone in this."

"HOW CAN YOU KNOW WHAT I FEEL!" Boscha suddenly snapped. "My mom still can't walk! You're mom can't feel anything, not with her buried in the GROUND!"

Boscha realized her mistake after those words left her mouth. Skara looked at her friend, clearly hurt. Boscha saw this and tried to say something, but nothing came out of her mouth.

Skara's face darkened suddenly, and she turned and walked away from her friend. Boscha reached for Skara, but she walked out of reach. She watched Skara disappear around a corner and let out a sigh. She dragged herself over to a wall and slumped against it.

Darius had watched this entire exchange from where he was and frowned as he looked at the young Trisight. He sighed and looked at his son.

"Inform me if anything changes," he said simply.

Hunter, who watched the events with his friends unfold, looked at his father and nodded. Darius smiled slightly at this and turned his attention to Boscha. He walked up to her, and Boscha half-heartedly glared at the older witch when she noticed him.

"Now you're going to scold me," the three-eyed witch scoffed half-heartedly.

"...Yes, but not for the reason you're probably thinking," Darius replied.

Boscha just scoffed and looked away. Darius cocked an eye and sighed exasperatedly.

"You're truly like your mother," Darius muttered, loud enough for Bosca to hear him.

She glared at him, but Darius stopped her before she could say anything.

"Before you open your mouth, I knew both of your mothers quite well. We took quite a few general classes together. And I now see that you have inherited her temper."

"...And you're going to say that a bad thing," Boscha said angrily.

Darius smiled an empty smile and said, "Yes. Your mom got in trouble a lot because of it and almost got expelled when she seriously hurt someone from accidentally knocking her girlfriend over."

Bosch scoffed and looked away. Her mothers told her this story many times, to the point she knew it word for word. Darius saw this and decided it was best to use a different approach.

"Do you want to know what I came to believe about the former emperor?" He asked.

"No," Bosch retorted, "But you're going to tell me anyways."

Darius could only shake his head, once more reminded of his friend.

"Philip Wittebane feared us, that much we know," Darius began and got Boscha's attention. "But I have come to believe he also hated us with such volume that he couldn't see anything good in this realm, unlike the women you now share a name with."

Darius looked at his followed witches and smiled warmly; Hunter's friends had joined him. Gus must have said something that flustered both Hunter and Willow, as their cheeks had a hint of red on them.

He turned serious as he looked at Boscha.

"That hatred continued to grow until Philip created his Belos persona with the sole goal of riding the land of those that he believed took everything from him," Darius finished darkly.

"...Is this going anywhere?" Boscha asked.

Darius cocked an eye at the girl; he could tell she was trying to act tough, but his words were clearly affecting her. So with a sigh, he kneeled so he was looking Boscah right in the eye.

"Yes, Boscha Noceda-Trisight," he replied darkly, "What would you do if you learned that Odalia was somehow behind your mother's current state…and if you regret whatever action you take afterward, unlike our former emperor."

I wasn't planning on making another side chapter featuring Boscha. My original plan was to conclude Boscha's story with the "Odalia's Escape" chapter, but that was reaching a limit I put onto those kinds of chapters. So, we get another chapter figuring Boscha.
