Chapter 12: Live Doomwolves

Three days later

It was night time in Milford and there was a crowd at the front gates lining up to make their entry into Flasheart's yard. Tonight was the live performance of the Doomwolves. Flasheart's yard was setup with a stage surrounded by carnival carts selling food, drinks, and band merch to the crowd while they waited for the show to start.

Freddy stood at his window with the support of a full body back brace which also supported his neck. He was wearing his red shirt, black denim jacket, black pants and black sneakers. As he was watching the crowd from his window, Freddy heard someone enter his room, turning around to find Batty standing at the door.

Batty was wearing a red spaghetti strap singlet, a red and black drape tartan jacket, black distressed jeans and red high top sneakers. Freddy looked at her amazed.

Freddy: "Wow, you look pretty nice"

Batty smiled: "Thanks"

Batty stood next to him to watch the crowd. The two were looking forward to seeing the band play. Another person approached Freddy's room, it was Jason wearing his black shirt, white pants and white low top shoes

Jason said: "Looking below?"

Freddy and Batty turned around, Freddy responded: "Yeah, come have a look"

Jason walked up to them and had look out the window. He saw the guests entering the property and being stopped by a security guard who was checking to see if they were wearing their bracelets.

Jason asked: "Are your friends coming to the concert?"

Freddy: "Yeah, they're going to like it!"

Jason smiled: "I guarantee they will"

A few minutes later, the the trio saw their academy friends arrive at the front gate. The guard checked their bracelets before allowing them entry. Freddy, Batty and Jason walk down the stairs straight to the yard and greeted them.

Omar, Kitty, Aggie, Ivan, Winslow and Wendy were wearing new outfits for the event. The group said their hello's before noticing Freddy's back brace. He told them that he would explain later and they continued catching up.

Omar: "This is so exciting, how are you three?"

Freddy with excitement: "Batty, Jason and I are pumped for the band. Not only that, we also have some things we went to tell you from the attack"

They asked curiously: "Tell us Freddy?"

Freddy looked at his two friends and then the six: "We kick some Wilders' butt!"

Jason cut him off: "It's ASS…"

They looked at the three with shock but before any of them could respond, Jason told them: "So we kick asses on the street and then we fought the leader in the HQ with no success. I was gonna go for a clean shot but he escaped and has now gone into hiding"

Ivan looked at Jason with more disbelief than the others, Kitty asked: "You seriously took on the Wilders with your bare hands?"

Jason replied with attitude: "Hands, feet and a gun. No bullshit"

Five of them sighed "wow"

While Kitty impressed but suspicious said: "Awesome! But wait, you actually took a gun with you?!"

Jason: "Does this look like I'm lying? Wanna see?"

Kitty nodded her head furiously: "YES PLEASE!"

Before Jason could leave the group, Freddy stopped him: "Woah Jason, Wait! I don't know if you should show her your own weapon, she is a bit…"

Jason raised his eyebrows before letting out a soft chuck: "Dangerous? I don't give a rat ass, I'm sure no one will touch it. I'll show her quickly and be back"

Jason pat Freddy on the shoulder as he and Kitty left.

Freddy looked back at his friends who were looking at him with an inquisitive expression on their faces.

Ivan frustrated: "Your telling me that this guy owns a fricken gun!"

Batty: "Well it's not our fault that he is with us but we should appreciate that he is on our side"

Ivan: "It's still outrages!"

Aggie: "You know what. I think Ivan has made a definite point."

Ivan: "Thank you!"

Aggie continued: "If he can carry a weapon that is deadly, Jason could do serious damage or worst! Especially someone with his personality that thinks his actions are justified. When I first met him, I wasn't expecting to met that kind of guy"

Wendy and Winslow nodded their heads at each other as one of them asked: "Has he killed anybody?"

Freddy and Batty stared at them blankly before Freddy answered: "I understand you guys are concerned but we needed his help. Can we move on and try not to overthink it?"

The group stared at the two but did not responded. Freddy changed the topic and continued on about the Wilder's attack: "We all agreed to invite Scarlet to help with the fight but then Jason remembered that we could not bring her inside Wolf rock. So, we changed plans and dealt with the streets first"

Batty: "If it wasn't for the lasting night patrollers, none of us would have had access to Wolf rock"

Freddy: "When we were inside, I try to slow down the Alpha and that's how he hurt my back"

The group nodded their heads

Aggie asked with worry: "Do you feel ok now?"

Freddy turned around and lifted up his shirt to reveal his brace: "I'm okay but the doctor said I need to heal for a couple weeks. It does still hurt a bit"

Jason and Kitty returned. With a smile across her face Kitty said: "Guys. This guy is something!"

The gang looked at them with a blank expression before she said: "What?"

Aggie coughed: "We were just talking about him"

Kitty: "Really? You know you wouldn't believe what that this guy has, he got super human powers too! Isn't that awesome?"

Aggie looked judgmental: "Technically…"

Kitty raised an eye brow in confusion: "What is it?"

Aggie: "I will tell you later"

Wendy asked a question: "What types of powers do you have Jason? Can you hear from the distance? Can you run fast?"

Jason: "What kind of superman abilities do I look like I have? No, I'm different"

Winslow asked: "So what are they then?"

Jason: "Hmm. Agility is first, Reflexes, Regeneration and physical manipulation?"

The group responded: "Cool!"

Aggie: "Agility… that is something"

Jason: "I'm quite flexible and can get out of the way if I need too. Back in my reality it's not possibly"

Omar: "What is that suppose to mean?"

Jason: "It means that I'm not from this world and can only bend the rules that are beyond my skill or physical abilities when I'm in another dimension"

The gang gasped in amazement.

Batty: "If you were at the attack, you would have seen what Jason can pull off in battle. He was impressive until he fought the Alpha one"

Freddy responded: "Are you kidding me Batty? He was still good"

Batty: "Of course but he ran out of luck when the Alpha swiped him into the computer screens"
