Here You guys go! I hope you enjoy!

Susan made her way over to Peter. Caspian was standing right next to him and thought Susan was coming to himself. Caspian was happy for a little until Susan said, "Can I talk to you for a second, Peter?"

Susan didn't even look at Caspian, she didn't want to. She knew what she had to tell Peter, and Caspian wasn't involved. Caspian felt hurt, he felt like if he tried to explain himself right now, Susan would turn him down.

Peter nodded his head and followed Susan down the beach staring at her belly. Susan felt his gaze. "What are you staring at?"

"You. You're a lot more pregnant than I thought you were. I mean, I don't understand any of this."

Susan sighed and looked away not wanting to look at his face. "I'm not the only one whose more pregnant than you thought." She then looked up to see his reaction.

Peter had a mixture of anger and grief upon his face. He said just above a whisper, "You mean Louise is soon due? And...and I can't be there for her? I'm going back home for her."

He started to march off and before he could, Susan grabbed his arm lightly. "Peter...I know this is tough, but so is Louise. Aslan told me even if you go back, you won't make it in time."

Peter saw the true sympathy and the sweet sadness in her eyes. He hugged his younger sister and started crying. Susan hushed him and said, "I know. I wanted to be there for her too, but if it's anyone that can get through this, it's Louise."

Peter stopped crying and wiped his eyes. "I know, I just want to be there. I'm the father. I don't want to miss a second of my baby's life."

Susan touched her bulging belly lightly and looked at it. "I see your point, but when we get back you'll be there every rest of the way. That baby will love you no matter what."

Peter smiled sadly. "Thank you for telling me and making feel better."

"I'm always here if you need anything, Peter. I'm your sister."

After everything that happened, the crew went into their tents to sleep. (Except for a few that stood guard.) Susan was lying down on her own pillow, with Peter's snores echoing through the tent. Caspian came in, grabbed his pillow, and walked out of the tent without any word. Susan cuddled the blanket, because she needed to feel protected. Cuddling the blanket felt constricting, which felt like something holding her. Not sleeping with Caspian caused a lot more trouble than Susan thought it would. She had many nightmares, and every time she woke up, there was no Caspian for her to look at and calm her down. So instead she would rub her stomach to feel her child.

Caspian kept watch during the night, since he couldn't really sleep in his tent. He drew in the sand with the blade of his sword. He heard someone sit next to him. Caspian looked up to see who it was, and it was Rose. She said not looking at Caspian. "It's hard loosing the ones you love. Did you know Markell and I had a few miscarriages?"

"No, I didn't."

"Well, we did and now I'll never have any of his children. At least you'll have a child. Anything you have is a gift."

Caspian said calm like to keep Rose that way. "You should get some rest. You've had a long day."

Rose still looked off in the distance. "I can't sleep. My mind still can't comprehend and neither can my heart." Adeline knew Caspian and Susan were fighting over Caspian cheating on her. She wanted to tear them apart to get to Susan.

Caspian put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm very sorry, Rose. I wouldn't really know what it's like to loose a spouse."

Rose turned her head and looked into Caspian's eyes. "I think you do know how I feel. You basically lost Susan."

Caspian dropped his hand. "What do you mean? I'm just waiting for her to come to me."

"She wanted Markell, did you not know? They loved each other, Caspian. Who knows? Susan's baby might be Markell's."

Caspian rolled his eyes. "I think you're overreacting, Rose. They never did anything nor had the time to do anything like that."

"How do you know? Were you watching her all day every day?"

"Rose. I really think you need some sleep."

Rose got up and stormed off into a tent. Caspian felt a little frustrated at his argument with Rose. Susan would never do that to him, just how she should know he'd never cheat. He lied up against the sand and after a while, his eyes faltered and gave way. He was soon fast asleep.

Caspian woke up to the shaking of his shoulder. His eyes fluttered open to see Marianna. She whispered, "I'm so sorry. I think I just needed to get my feelings out for once. I do love you Caspian, that's all I wanted you to know."

Caspian stretched. "It's all right, I just wish you expressed your feelings less physically."

Marianna smiled and blushed. "Sorry about that. I mean does this change our friendship?"

"Well, I think it does. For me to regain Susan's trust back, I can't really be around you."

Marianna bit her bottom lip. "I understand. You're supposed to be keeping watch, don't fall asleep and slack on the job again."

Caspian gave her a crooked smile. "I'll remember that." Marianna smiled back before gracefully walking away.

Susan woke up for the fourth time that night, because of a nightmare. She was sweating horribly and was hot. She heard the cool breeze from outside the tent. She got up and quietly walked to the end of the tent, trying not to wake her brothers and sister. When she was outside, she felt the cool air touch her pale skin. It felt like one of the best things to Susan. She closed her eyes to focus on cooling down.

Susan felt a pair of eyes staring at her. She opened her own and turned to see deep-brown eyes. They were sparkling from the moon lighting them up. She didn't want to feel Caspian's gaze. She started to walk to the sea water. She let the water come up and touch her bare feet.

Caspian watched as Susan came out of the tent and just stood in one spot with her eyes closed. He wondered why she was up so late and came outside. He then saw Susan look at him and walk towards the shoreline. He thought that she still couldn't stand him. But when he saw Susan look at him, he saw the bright-blue twinkling eyes he loved so much. When Caspian saw her stand there, she looked so beautiful to him. With her pregnant belly poking out in her new silhouette.

Caspian needed to talk to Susan. He couldn't stand not talking to her for this long. He walked behind her on the beach. He said quietly, "Susan, we need to talk.""

She turned around abruptly. She tried to walk away, but Caspian grabbed her hand. Susan whispered, "Please, let go of my hand." Tears were already streaming down her face.

Caspian said, "Only if you agree to listen to me. I have a lot to say."

Susan nodded her head, and Caspian dropped her hand. Susan looked anywhere but his face as Caspian said, "I saw Marianna crying when I got to the lake. I sat next to her, and before I knew anything, she kissed me. I should have pulled away, but I didn't want to hurt her anymore. I hate rejection as much as anyone else. I hate you rejecting me, Susan. I love you more than anything."

Susan looked up to see his eyes searching for an emotion on her face. She saw the loving-caring look to his eyes. She smiled as she touched his cheek. She wiped a tear falling from his face. Caspian didn't know he was even crying. Susan whispered, "I've missed you. I've been having a lot of nightmares tonight."

Caspian hugged her, and Susan felt protected again. When he pulled away he said, "Look at you. You're more pregnant than last time I saw you."

Susan grabbed her stomach, "I know. Do you want to feel it? It's pretty amazing just feeling where our boy or girl is."

Caspian squatted and felt his wife's stomach. He did think it was pretty amazing. He looked at Susan's eyes. "I am so lucky. I have you and we're going to have a little prince or princess walking around the castle."

Caspian stood up and without any thought, Susan kissed him. Caspian pulled away and smiled. He pointed to where his pillow was and said, "Do you want to sleep out here tonight? Where it's cooler?"

Susan nodded her head as Caspian lead her back to his post. He saw a few other crew members take their watch. Caspian lied up against the sand, and Susan lied right on top of him. Caspian wrapped a protective arm around her, and Susan fell asleep quickly. She slept the rest of the night without anymore nightmares.

Lucy woke up with Peter still snoring and wondered how Louise deals with all of his snoring. She walked out of the tent. She saw Susan and Caspian sleeping next to one another. Susan was sprawled across Caspian's torso, and Caspian slept just fine with an arm around her. Lucy smiled, she was glad to see her sister and Caspian not upset or mad anymore.

She started to feel the sun's heat hit her. It was warm, but not hot yet. Most of the crew was up, but she still heard snoring coming from different tents. Lucy felt someone's hands cover her eyes. She said, "Frederick. I know that's you."

He took his hands off of her, and Lucy turned around to face him. Frederick asked, "How did you know it was me?"

She smiled. "Simple. Either you or Susan would do that to me, and Susan's sleeping." Lucy's face then turned serious and kind. "I heard about what you did last night. Thank you."

"Hey, I saw your sister go into the woods by herself. So my instinct was to follow her."

Lucy traced her fingers along his collar bone. "I heard about everything. How are you?"

He grabbed her hand and put it down. "I'm fine. If anyone, I would be more worried about Rose. I don't think Markell is dead. He probably figured out she wanted to do whatever with the information about Susan's baby, and she locked him up somewhere."

Lucy shook her head. "I don't understand what she wants. We still can't tell though. I don't want the chance of any death in our family."

Frederick nodded in understanding. "I know. Let's just take our minds off things for a little and relax."

Susan woke up on Caspian's chest. It was moving up and down slowly, it felt comforting to her. She looked up at his relaxed peaceful face and closed eyes. He was breathing in and out of his nose. She decided to wake him up in a funny way. She smiled as she pinched his nose with her fingers. He made a strange noise and his eyes popped open. He took breaths out of his mouth. Susan cracked up and he asked, "What did you do that for?"

"It was funny and not as clique as waking you up with a kiss."'

"A kiss would have been a lot nicer to wake up to." Caspian said with his crooked smile. Susan giggled.

Susan said looking down, "I'm sorry for thinking you cheated. I should know you better than that. You would never do that to me."

Caspian looked at her face. "It's all forgiven. Besides, I should have pulled away. I just..." Susan cut him off with a kiss.

When they pulled away Susan said, "Like you said all is forgiven."

Caspian half-smiled and touched her pregnant bump. "What gender do you think it is?"

Susan gave some thought to that question. "I think it's a boy. He'll be a fighter just like his Daddy. If it is a boy can we name him Emerson?"

"I think that would be a handsome name. Prince Emerson and after that King Emerson. It would be better than Prince Caspian XI."

Susan touched the stubble on his face. "Aww, Caspian XII is cute too, named after his father."

Caspian stood up and helped Susan up. She was having trouble getting used to her bump. Susan followed Caspian while he was giving crew members orders to start preparing for departure on the ship. Susan saw Rose and heard the words "open your eyes" in her head. She did that and saw Rose turn into an old-familiar looking hag, but then Rose turned back to normal.

Susan realized when she saw the transformation, she gasped and grabbed a firm hold on Caspian's arm. Caspian said to the crew member he was talking to, "Excuse me for a second."

He turned to face Susan. "What's wrong? Is it the baby?" He had a lot of worry in his voice.

Susan gave him a convincing smile. "Nothing. I thought I saw something, but it's nothing."

Caspian smiled back and started talking to the crew member again. Susan kept staring at Rose. She felt as if something wasn't right. She just couldn't think of what.

Peter woke up to Lucy shaking him awake. "Peter. We are going to leave this island with or without you, so get up. It's already noon." He hinted the annoyance in her voice.

He rubbed his eyes and asked, "How long have you been trying to wake me up?"

"A while. Now let's go this is the last tent that needs put away."

Peter stretched and asked, "Why are you so eager to go? You're normally go with flow on things."

"I'm really worried about Susan. With the baby. Who knows? Another four months might pass without anyone knowing and Susan would be due in one more month."

"I guess you're right. I also want to get back to Louise as fast as possible. Which reminds me, I need to write her."

Peter got up out of the tent, and it went down right when he walked out. He noted that Susan was standing with her arms crossed looking at him with annoyance, like she wanted to leave a while ago. He rolled his eyes and ignored her.

Caspian touched Susan's shoulder lightly. "Are you ready to go?"

Susan nodded eagerly. "I think we can stay on the ship for a while now."

Caspian chuckled. "Whatever you say. Let's just go before we find another dangerous thing on this island."

Everyone got on the row boats, and Rose was on the same one as Susan and Caspian. Susan couldn't help but feel scared of Rose, but she didn't know why. Susan just held onto Caspian's arm. He didn't ask any questions, he knew he would get more answers on the ship. He secretly was also scared of Rose, but in a different way. Lucy knew why she was scared.

When everyone got on the ship, they all got back to their usual routines. Peter went to go write a letter to Louise. Lucy and Frederick walked to the edge of the ship and talked quietly to each other. Edmund steered the ship with Eustace watching. Susan pulled Caspian to an abandoned part of the ship.

She whispered, "I feel like there's something different and wrong about Rose."

Caspian raised an eyebrow. "Well, her husband just died. If I died, do you think you would be the same?"

Susan couldn't even imagine the fact of Caspian gone for good, but he did have a good point. Susan then remembered what she saw. "I just think she's hiding something."

Caspian looked at the depressed looking Rose and back at Susan. "I don't know, Susan. Let's just give her some space until she's happier." He looked back at Rose.

Susan saw the strange look on his face. She asked, "Did something happen between the two of you?"

Caspian looked back at Susan's searching eyes. He sighed. "Yes. She came to me last night. She said you and Markell loved one another and the baby might be his and not mine."

Susan's jaw dropped. "She said that?!" Her voice was in all rage. "I can't believe...Ugh! She's trying to make us hate one another! Why would she do that?" Susan's voice was raised and was causing a scene. Caspian lead Susan to their room. Susan was so furious she felt some tears leave her eyes.

Caspian saw the tears and wiped them from her face. He asked calmly, "Why are you crying?"

"Because, I'm so angry. Who would do such a thing? First Marianna. Then Rose does that to you? To us?" Susan started to stroke her stomach to calm herself.

"That's why I think we should avoid her for a while. I think because she's feeling miserable, she wants others to feel miserable as well."

Susan nodded her head in understanding. "Okay. I don't want us to fight over little things anymore. Promise?"

Caspian smirked. "Promise."

Susan gave Caspian and quick peck on the lips, and Caspian headed towards the door. He noticed Susan not following him. "Aren't you coming?"

Susan held her belly. "No. Being pregnant really takes its toll. I'm really tired."

Caspian came back over to her and kissed her baby bump. Susan smiled brightly and Caspian talked to her bump, "Goodnight little Emerson. I'll see you when mommy wakes up." Susan smiled brighter as Caspian walked away. She knew he was going to be a great father. She plopped herself down on the bed and let sleep wash over her.
