Chapter Five
Remus walked into his young bosses office. His boss was already waiting for him. Mr Kaiba looked a lot better than last time he'd seen the young man. Mr Kaiba's visit to London had been rather unexpected and unannounced. Upper management were in a frenzy. He'd been the only one the big boss was in to see. He had everyone asking what he'd done to catch the attention of the man in front of him. He couldn't even tell them that Mr Kaiba seemed to notice him because somehow he'd found out he was magical. If Mr Kaiba didn't already know, he probably suspected he was a werewolf. Remus really liked working for Kaiba Corp and would be really sad to be leaving, after all who in their right mind would keep a werewolf on staff. He sighed sadly, this had been the best job he'd ever worked and it couldn't come at a worse time. He had a family to support now.
"Sir," he greeted the young man who was young enough to still be a student.
"Mr Lupin," Seto greeted him with a businesslike tone that didn't suggest he was being fired. "You're probably wondering why you've been called in so I'll get to the point. I have a rather large project that I've taken on and have a new facility on an Island located in Southern Japan. The facility requires staff, teaching staff to be exact. Your resume stated that you've taught before. Your job performance review also states that you would like to teach again, if at all possible."
Remus blinked at his boss for a few moments and took the project folder and began flipping through it. He was being offered a teaching position of teenagers covering multiple subjects for the first year. He'd loved teaching and always wanted to go back to being a teacher, but after his near miss it was too dangerous to be around students.
"I can't accept." He replied sadly.
"And why ever not? I've done your schedule up so your illness doesn't interfere with your teaching schedule. Unless there is another reason you can't accept."
"I'm a werewolf" he told the muggle boy before him.
"I know," was the reply.
"How. I haven't told you before now."
"I have my ways of finding out these things. Once I knew you were magical I was able to look into your work history further."
Seto Kaiba was definitely no ordinary muggle. Mr Kaiba accepted that he was a werewolf without question and was still willing to let him teach. But then again the young man in front of him had looked at a Death Eater massacre as if it was nothing but an exhibit in a zoo, a boring exhibit. Mr Kaiba had also survived four months as a personal prisoner of He-Who-Shouldn't-Be-Named and managed to disabled the whole inner circle. How a muggle without magic disabled a magical cult, he would never now.
"I've read there are potions you can take to calm the inner wolf. There is a secure nearby Island that will be used for you during the transformations. An island that the students can't access and will be guarded; both with modern technology and magical means. You won't be able to escape and to make sure no students get in. Miss Ishtar has already begun sourcing the potion ingredients that are needed and her brother Radish is quiet versed in the art of potions and if for whatever reason Radish can't make the potion I can always make it myself. It doesn't look like it would be that hard, just time consuming."
Doesn't look hard! Remus almost snorted. It was a very difficult potion to make, very few potions masters could successfully make the potion. Not even his former potion professor could make wolfsbane potion and here was a young muggle boy claiming it to be easy. His boss really was something else. He believed the young man could make the potion and to Mr Kaiba it probably was easy to make the potion.
"I have a family. I'm not sure I could be away from them for so long." Remus went to his next reason for not coming.
"You're family is welcome to attend. You're wife is even welcome to teach if she's qualified."
"I don't think Nym would enjoy teaching, she's the equivalent of a police officer and would find teaching boring in comparison."
"She can always work in security" Seto replied. "Or we can always find another job for her. There's still an opening in the kitchens, cleaning staff, administration just to name a few."
"Sir, I'll talk it over with my wife and have a think about it." Remus replied. He shook his bosses hand one last time.
He couldn't help smiling as he left the office. That was all the others needed to know the meeting had gone well. He might have the chance to teach again. He still didn't know if he'd accept the position or not, but it was nice just being offered the job. His dream job.

Seto's appointment with Remus had gone well even if he didn't get a straight up yes. His next appointment was will a Mr Percy Weasley. He was the younger brother of Bill Weasley whom he'd originally offered one of the teaching positions to. Bill had turned him down, enjoying his current work too much and enjoyed being in the field. He'd recommended his younger brother Percy who was currently working for the British Ministry of Magic. But with the mess the Ministry was currently in the teaching position would be a welcome distraction according to Bill Weasley.
He'd looked over Percy's school and work history and it had been impressive. He was constantly close to the top of his year level, Prefect and then Head Boy, no behavioural issues and had done quite well in his business career.
After meeting Bill, Charlie, Ronald and Ginervira he'd been rather surprised by Percy's appearance. Rather impressed in fact. He looked professional in comparison to his siblings. Neat trimmed hair, a grey pinned stripped suit and professional with his presentation and speech. He was also punctual in his arrival.
"I have to say Mr Weasley, you're a lot different than I expected especially after meeting your brothers and sister."
"Likewise Mr Kaiba" the slightly older man shook his hand.
"Did you have any issues finding the place?" Seto asked. He knew how ignorant to the normal world wizards could be.
"I didn't have any issues finding the place. It is a bit of a culture shock coming into a muggle establishment. I quiet like how organised everything is here. The ministry is chaotic, even without a war going on."
After a bit of small talk about the difference between the magical and mortal worlds business practices Seto continued with Percy Weasleys job interview.
Seto went over the school he was planning to open with the older man who was all too eager for the change.
"I'll get to teach magical classes as well as muggle classes?" Percy asked with enthusiasm while trying to still sound professional. "I've never taught muggle classes before. Actually never taught magical classes either."
Seto hated that word muggle.
"A lot of the schools in Japan aren't strictly mortal or magical. I'd like my school to be the same."
Seto went into more detail about his plans for the school and how mixed schools operated, from a research point of view.
"I'm looking forward to working with you Mr Kaiba" Percy stood and shook his hand once more before leaving.
That was one less position Seto had to fill, but he still had several interviews he needed to get out of the way.
