He couldn't look at her, and see those big gray eyes, and still ask for her forgiveness.
He couldn't act like it would be okay.

He wasn't suppose to get lost along the way either.

She never thought that he would ever end up failing her.
She never thought it would hurt to see him.

She didn't believe that he was standing there, asking her to help him.
She didn't believe that he would ever think about how she felt in his time of darkness.
She didn't believe that her hero, who was standing under the rain, could ever look so lost.

Just a little drabble on what Annabeth must have felt when Luke asked her to leave with him.
