Peter was awoken by a crew member saying, "King Peter, sorry to awake you, but Queen Susan is hurt."

Peter's eyes flew open, and he ran to Caspian and Susan's room. He saw Caspian putting water on Susan's cheek. Caspian saw Peter enter the room and whispered to Susan, "I'll be right back, keep that on your cheek."

Susan had a scared look in her eyes. "Don't leave me."

Caspian gave her a reassuring smile. "I'll be right at the door."

Caspian walked to Peter, who was waiting for an answer. Caspian whispered to Peter, so Susan couldn't hear what he was saying, "I think Susan might have had a nightmare. What if she sleepwalked and accidentally cut herself with her arrow. She said Adeline came in and tried to kill her baby and herself. Also, earlier today, when she had a nap, she said she had a nightmare about someone trying to kill her baby."

Peter crossed his arms and whispered back, "But it just doesn't seem like Susan, she doesn't sleepwalk."

"Maybe with the baby, she's starting to sleepwalk. I think it would be best if I slept with her from now on."

Peter put a hand on his brother-in-law's shoulder and said, "I'll steer the ship for you. I think you have a long discussion with Susan."

Peter walked out of the room, and Caspian went back to Susan's side. Caspian started to wrap Susan's arm in a bandage. Susan broke the silence and asked, "What did you and Peter talk about?"

Caspian was keeping his focus and attention on Susan's arm. "About me staying with you every night."

"That would be a good idea. Caspian? What is happening?"

Caspian looked up at Susan's face. Her eyes were searching his own, trying to find out what is going on. He sighed, "I think you had a nightmare. You probably sleepwalked and cut yourself with your arrow."

Susan stood up in full disbelief. "I can't believe you don't believe me. Why would I hurt myself, Caspian? I just...I." She sat back down and broke down. Caspian pulled her into his chest, and she cried. In-between sobs she said, "Why would it be so real?"

Caspian whispered softly, "I don't know, Susan. You were thinking about fears and this got to your head. I'll be here, and I'll sleep with my sword to help."

Susan pulled back to look at him. She wiped her tears and touched Caspian's cheek lightly. "I...why would this happen now?"

"Like I said, all this talk about fears is getting to your head."

Caspian kissed her forehead and picked her up. He carried her to the bed and tucked her in. He plopped down next to her. Susan moved herself over to Caspian. She put her baby bump on top of his stomach, and Caspian placed a light hand on her bump. They both fell asleep quickly.

Markell was staring at Rose, his mouth wide open in happiness. He didn't even care that Bilias was watching them. Markell asked, "How long did you know?"

Rose shook her head, "I had all the symptoms, but I didn't really know. I guess I'm a little earlier than Susan."

Markell smiled brightly, and Bilias broke the moment by clearing his throat. "This is not a moment to celebrated, unless you want Queen Susan and her child to be dead."

Both of their smiles left their faces immediately. Markell thought about Susan, he felt like such a huge idiot for leaving her. She would die and there was nothing he could do. Markell asked, "Is she dead, yet?"

"According to my mother, she killed Queen Susan last night and that child. Her next victim is King Caspian and then the rest of the Pevensie family."

Markell felt tears behind his eyes. One of his best friends just died, his first love. Markell saw a sword sitting on desk next to Bilias, catch his eye. Markell went for the sword and grabbed it. With anger and grief in Markell's eyes, he went right for Bilias's throat.

Susan woke up to the sound of rustling books. Her eyes fluttered open and saw Caspian opening book after book. He was looking for some kind of information, but Susan didn't know what. Caspian felt her eyes glaze over him, he gave her a small smile and said, "I'm glad you're up. I'm sorry I awoke you. I just can't find anything else on this magic."

Susan stretched and got out of bed. Caspian sat in the chair stressed and he said, "It's getting worse, Susan. The only person he talks to is Rose. What can we do?"

Susan walked over to him and started to rub Caspian's shoulders. "We should do what the other book said. We have to convince Edmund, that we do love him and care about him. Rose on the other hand, does not care about him nor loves him."

Susan then had an epiphany. She remembered Rose flashing to an old hag on the beach. Now Edmund has some kind of magic and only loves Rose. Also, Adeline showed up on the ship right after they got Rose back. Susan dropped her hands off Caspian's shoulders immediately. Susan said just above a whisper, "Adeline is Rose."

Caspian stood up and turned around to face Susan. "What did you say, Susan?"

"Adeline is transformed into Rose. I don't know how or why."

Caspian questioned her, "Are you sure? I mean how could this be even possible?"

Susan sighed, "I don't know. You just have to trust me. And you also have to trust me that, that wasn't a dream last night. It was real. She is on this ship pretending to be Rose."

Caspian nodded, "We have to tell everyone and get her off this ship."

"No! I have an idea, and that means we have to pretend we still think she's the real Rose."

Adeline thought to herself, "I need to play it more safe. I almost got caught last night. I need to find a way to sadden the monarchs so I can strike. I have an idea, I'll just kill off that stupid excuse for a king. King Edmund."

The fake Rose called Edmund over, and he came over like any man caught under a spell would. She whispered into his ear, "Nobody loves you. You might as well kill yourself now. If anyone gets in your way you will kill them. They don't care about you. Why should you care about them?"

Edmund's eyes turned deeper purple as he said, "Nobody loves me. I might as well kill myself now. If anyone gets in my way, I will kill them. They don't care about me. Why should I care about them?"

Edmund walked out onto the deck. Lucy noticed him and decided it was time for her to talk to her brother. She went up to him and asked, "Hey, Ed. What'cha doing?"

"I'm going to kill myself, Lucy. I'm going to jump off the ship and drown myself."

"WHAT? Edmund, stop. Don't do this you're under a spell."

Edmund sighed, "You're trying to stop me. I must kill you now."

Edmund went to Lucy and put his hands around her neck. He started to choke her. Lucy was trying to push Edmund's hands off, but he was too strong. She was wheezing, trying to get air into her lungs. Out of nowhere, Frederick tackled Edmund to the ground, Edmund fell to the ground with Frederick on top of him. Lucy was coughing and choking, getting air into her lungs.

Edmund was a lot strong than he looked. He pushed Frederick off him. He then threw Frederick against a barrel. It hit Frederick's head, and he blacked out. Lucy tried to yell, "Frederick!" but it was unsuccessful considering her throat was sore.

Edmund went back to Lucy and this time Caspian, Peter, and Susan stood in front of Lucy. All of their arms were crossed. Edmund said angrily, "Get out of my way."

Edmund tried to push past them, but he wasn't stronger than Peter and Caspian. Susan said, "We won't move, because we love you Edmund Pevensie."

Peter then added, "If you ever feel left out of anything, any of us will be there for you."

Caspian said, "If you feel like I'm spending too much time with Susan, I'll push her aside and spend time with you."

Susan slightly glared at Caspian and then her face softened. Lucy came up behind her two siblings and brother-in-law and said, "We all love you, Ed. Don't you ever think differently. Come back to us."

The real Edmund, locked inside the fake Edmund's body started to take over again. These strong words of love started to bring him back. The real Edmund got into his mind and blinked. The once deep purple eyes turned into their original dark brown. He touched his head and said, "I guess fairy tales were right, true love can break a curse."

All four of them went up to Edmund and hugged him. Edmund said, "Getting crushed. I wouldn't think being hugged to death would be a good way to go."

They all laughed and Peter said, "It's good to have you back, Ed."

Lucy then remembered, "Frederick!"

She ran to his side immediately. She lifted his head off the ground, and his eyes opened. He whispered, "I didn't know your brother was that strong."

Lucy giggled and hugged him. She whispered in his ear, "Thank you. I love you."

Frederick pulled out of the hug and looked at Lucy's eyes. "I thought we weren't using the 'l' word until we actually felt it."

"Well, I actually do love you."

Frederick kissed her and said, "I love you too."

They both smiled and heard Peter yell, "I can see you two!"

Lucy challenged him, "Can you see this?"

She pulled Frederick face to her own and kissed him hard on the mouth. When she pulled away she looked at her eldest brother. He yelled, "I'm stronger than Edmund, remember that Frederick!"

Frederick's eyes popped, "I think I should listen to your brother."

"Don't worry about him. He's just jealous, because he doesn't have Louise right now."

Louise was finally back at Narnia. She was standing off the balcony of the castle soaking in the sun rays. She then saw a black bird with a note tied around its ankle. She untied it and read:

Dearest Louise,

I miss you so much. I'm so sorry, love. You're eight months pregnant, just open your eyes and see. The island tricked us, we were on sea for four months. I won't be there for the birth of our child. I love him (I think it's a boy!) so much, just let him know that until I get home. If, Aslan forbid, I don't make it home, just let our son know how much I love you and him. Never let him forget. I love you so much. You missed a little. Rose came back on board and Markell is dead. There was a terrible boat crash. You also missed this huge storm. Also, Susan is four months pregnant. Caspian and Susan think it's a boy too. They didn't tell me, I just overhear their conversations. Please write me back when you give birth. I love you so so much.

Love,

Your husband Peter Pevensie

Louise was crying. She opened her eyes as the letter told her to do so. She watched as her baby bump get a whole lot bigger. She missed Peter and the rest of her family. She never felt so lonely in her life. She was also ruling as Narnia's Queen while they were gone. She didn't know how Susan and Caspian did it. She knew she had to inform the professor immediately about her being eight months pregnant. He did tell her when she got back about how much bigger she looked than four to five months. Now she knew why.

Louise looked out over the balcony and saw a familiar ship out in the Narnian ocean, and little row boat was on its way to the beach.

Edmund remembered everything. He knew who put the spell on him, Rose. He just didn't understand how Rose knew magic. He just wanted a long nights sleep, even though it was still mid-day. Susan walked up to Edmund and asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, but I am really tired."

Before he could walk away, Susan put a hand on his shoulder. "Do you know who put the spell on you? Because I do. Come with me."

Edmund followed Susan into her room. He sat on the bed until Susan closed the door. She whispered, "It was Rose, but it's that old enchantress, Adeline. She's transformed to be Rose. She wants to kill me and my baby. I don'y know why, but she tried to kill us both last night. You can't tell anyone, Peter nor Lucy know."

Edmund nodded his head, "This is ridiculous. We need to get rid of her, we need to tell people."

"Edmund, I have a plan. Just don't tell anyone, Okay?"

"Fine. Only if I can sleep on your bed."

Susan smirked, "Deal. Goodnight, Ed."

Susan locked the door behind her so Adeline couldn't get in the room and put him under a spell again. When Susan turned around, Marianna was standing right behind her. Susan felt anger boil up, but she kept her calm. She said, "I don't think it's a good time to talk."

Marianna said, "I know you're mad at me. If I were in your shoes I would be mad too. Can you just listen to me?" Susan sighed and faced Marianna. Marianna continued, "Caspian is the only man who has shown kindness to me. My father beat me, so I thought all men were like that. Caspian isn't, and I fell in love. I'm so stupid for kissing him. It...well I am in love with him, but I will keep it to myself from now on. Can I please still talk to him? He's my only friend on this trip."

Susan thought for a second and said, "I understand how it feels to be in love a committed man. Caspian was engaged when I saw him again. I kissed him during his engagement. I'm fine if you and Caspian are together, just please, no kissing him."

Marianna smiled. "Thank you Queen Susan. I'm glad you're not really mad at me anymore."

Marianna sauntered off and Susan saw Rose. She was limping but trying to hide it. Susan walked up to her and asked, "Is your leg all right? You seem to be limping."

"It's nothing. I fell down the stairs going to bed last night. I bruised it a little."

Susan remembered she cut Adeline in the leg with the arrow. Susan asked, "Why don't I take a look at it? You might have bruised a bone."

Rose had a nasty and hostile tone in her voice as she said, "No! Just leave me alone, Susan! My husband died, and he loved you more than me! You remind me of it every time I look at you." Rose cried and limped back down to where the hammocks were.

It caused a scene and one of the crew members asked Susan, "Are you all right Queen Susan? Depression does take a toll on people."

"I'm fine thank you. What is your name?"

The man with cropped dark brown hair and blue eyes said, "My name is William, your majesty. I fought on the battlefield against Archenland. It was the most amazing thing to see Aslan bring you back to life."

Susan half-smiled. "Well Aslan has a plan for all of us. I guess it wasn't in his plan for me to die on that battlefield."

"It's a good thing too. Now we have a little prince or princess about to come into our world."

Susan held her bump in her hands and smiled, "Yes. I'm so thankful it. I just wish I would be able to know if our baby would be a prince or a princess."

"I'm a really good guesser you highness. Do you mind if I?"He pointed to her stomach, and Susan shook her head. She didn't mind at all.

William touched her bump and pressed on it. He smiled and said, "My guess is a little princess."

Susan smiled brighter. "I thought it was a boy."

"Well if I'm wrong, I guess I'll lose my title as a good guesser."

Susan chuckled. She then felt a chill in the air. It got strangely colder. William asked, "Did you feel that? The coldness in the air? Or is it just me?"

"No I feel it." Susan looked around and saw Caspian. He was steering the ship, and she saw the confused look on his face. She ran up the stairs to the top deck to Caspian.

He saw her and she asked, "Did you feel it too?"

He nodded his head, and it got colder. Caspian then remembered, "Susan go into our room and lock yourself in there. It's too dangerous for you out here."

"What? Why?"

Caspian whispered, "Everyone had a common fear and it's here. The White Witch."

Susan gasped, "No. I stay out here and fight with you."

Caspian was frustrated, "Susan you are pregnant. I will not lose you nor the baby."

Susan knew he was right. Before she left, she kissed him. It was a loving long kiss. Susan then said, "Listen to Peter and Edmund, they know more about her than anyone else."

Caspian nodded, and Susan ran down to her room. She unlocked the door and woke up Edmund. She yelled, "Get up Ed! You need to go out there!"

"Why? What's going on?"

Susan said quietly, "The White Witch is coming back."

Edmund jumped out of the bed and ran out. Susan then remembered Lucy. Susan went back out of the room and watched as the ocean started to freeze. Then dark-grey clouds formed over the sky. Susan found her younger sister and without a word, Susan dragged Lucy to her room. Lucy asked, "What is happening Susan?"

"The White Witch, Lucy. You need to stay in here, where it's safe." Susan grabbed her arrows and strapped them to her back. She picked up her bow and held it to her side.

Lucy was staring at Susan with fear. Then Susan realized it wasn't her Lucy was staring at, it was what was behind her. Susan turned around and there was the White Witch in the flesh.
