Season 1 Episode 5: Dance-Off
"Ask Him to the Dance, He's Waiting for you" Ally said as Me (Polyvore) and Her were hanging in my Room, Doing Homework.
"Please He's a Rockstar, There's like a Million girls throwing themselves at him, I cant plus If I ask him, He'll know I have a crush on him. I cant risk that" I explained. Ally sighed.
"Well you wanna know who I'm going with?" Ally asked sheepishly. I shrugged. Ally squealed.
"Dallas!" My eyes Widen.
"The Guy that works in the Cafeteria?" I asked in Disbelief. Ally nodded.
"I'm so happy for you, But What about me? I'll be all alone" I said doubtfully.
"Look I worked up the Courage to Ask My Crush Out, Now it's your turn" Ally said. I sighed leaned my head back, I'm so screwed.
Later…
After Ally left, I walked down to go to the Kitchen to get an Apple when I saw the Least Person I wanted to see, I quietly and slowly tried to leave the Kitchen when…
"Whats Shakin My Bacon" Emmett said winking at me. I rolled my eyes and headed for the Fridge.
"What are you doing here Emmett?" I asked but I really didn't care.
"Well, Just Hanging with PJ" Emmett said.
"Wow, Is PJ your Only Friend?" I asked as I rolled my eyes. Emmett smirked.
"Well There's also room for my Special friend…" Emmett said.
"Oh really who's that?" I asked. He walked towards me and put his arm around me.
"You" I fake gagged at our Contact and pushed his arms off me.
"Okay First, I already Told you, Get your Nasty Weirdo Hands off of me" I started "And Second, You and Me are never gonna be friends, We're not even acquaintances" I finished before walking out.
"But you didn't say Girlfriend So I'm still in" Emmett yelled out.
"No, Never In my Life!" I shouted back as I walked upstairs.
Next Day…
"There He Is, Your gonna have to ask him out, It's Now or Never" Trisha said. I (Polyvore) sighed and fixed my hair.
"Do I look okay?" I asked as I faced Ally and Trish. They smiled and pushed me towards Austin, Who noticed my Appearance.
"Hey, Steve How's it going" Austin said. I smiled
"Great, Um but can I ask you something?" I asked nervously. He nooded. I took a deep breathe.
"Do you wanna go….To class with me?" I was just too scared to say it, I mean I really do like him but, I'm scared of rejection or losing a friendship.
"Ummm Sure I guess" Austin said. I sighed and shook my head.
"Not that's not the Thing I wanted to ask, What I wanted to ask was, Will you go to the Dance with me?" I blurted the last part while I closed my eyes. I opened them slowly to see a Frowning Austin. My heart stopped when said what I thought made this become the Worst Day of my life…
"I would Love too but, Kendra already asked me, Sorry" He said meaningly and his voice was deeply filled with Sorrow like he really wanted to go with me. My heart felt like it got broken into a zillion pieces, I really did mean Zillion not Million.
"I-It's Okay, I just asked that's all, Well See you then" I said after walking off and into the bathroom…
Later…
Oh my God, I cant believe I got rejected by the Guy I had a crush on since forever and aka is my Best Friend. I just want to stay home and eat Ice Cream all night watching Movies….
After School…
I (Polyvore) quickly changed into some new clothes and plumped and huddled into my Bed, I was so depressed. Why Did freakin' Kendra have to ask him? I want him to be mine. Sounds weird but it's true….
"OMG! Stevie guess what!?" Teddy exclaimed running in and hoping happily beside me. I blinked emotionlessly.
"What?" I asked in a Sad tone. Teddy Squealed.
"I just asked Spencer to the Dance and he said Yes! Isnt life great!?" Teddy exclaimed. Here comes the Water Works…
I turned and muffled my face in my pillow so she wouldn't see me crying but the sobbing kind of gave it away….
"Hey Steve? Whats up?" Teddy asked worried. I shook my head and sat up and Instantly cried and sobbed into Teddy's Arms
"The Dance was the Perfect Place to tell him How I felt, But He's going With Kendra, Old Stinkin' Kendra!" I exclaimed madly while Sobbing. Teddy rubbed my back for comfort and faced me with my now Red eyes.
"Austin is a Great Guy, I know but do you really think It's worth crying over him because a Girl asked him First? I'm not saying this isnt worth crying for but Still, You are better than this, There are many guys out there and if he does like Kendra, He's lost, Show him you are so much stronger than this…" Teddy said. I smiled gratefully.
"Your Right, Teddy" I said nodding. Teddy smiled and hugged me.
Later….
"Yeah, I've decided I'm not going Friday" I announced as I was talking on my phone in a phone Convo/w Trisha and Ally…
"What? You cant, What about me and Trish? Trish doesn't have a Date and she's going…." Ally said.
"Maybe its because I have a DJ shift there…" Trish said.
"Well Still, Atleast Your going…" Ally said.
"Guys, I cant face Austin and see him happily dancing around with….Kendra" I confessed.
"Look, Austin is with Kendra, It may be the hardest thing to get through but Atleast Come…..For Me and Ally" Trish said. I sighed.
"Well I gotta go, Dad needs me" Ally said before hanging up.
"Me too" Trish said before hanging up. I dropped the phone and curled into my bed….
Friday Night….
I (Polyvore) went slowly downstairs…
"Hey Stevie, where you going? Thought you wanted to stay in Bed" Gabe said as he entered from the Kitchen. I smiled at him.
"I was, But I kind of Re-thought over things and I just wanted go to the dance" I said as I got my Leather Jacket.
"Well have a good time at whatever place your so dressed so weird for" Gabe said looking weirdly at my dress. I smiled at him
"Okay whatever Dude, Have fun at your Teacher-Parents conference" I said before going out the door. Kids…
I took the bus and Next thing I knew I was at the School Dance…
I took a deep breath and entered the school, To the Gym.
I looked around and smiled when I saw Ally hanging at the Refreshments table looking bored. I even saw Teddy and Ivy somewhere…
I walked over to Ally and she eagerly hugged me.
"Stevie! I thought you were staying home" Ally said in shock to see me. I shook my head.
"Well I thought about it and here I am" I said.
"Well let's dance" I then started dancing with Ally not noticing Austin was watching me.
The Party was soon kind of over so I hunged around the Refreshments table after Ally and Trish left.
"Okay PJ the DJ has one more song left, So grab your ladies tight and Dance…" PJ who was the DJ announced. I rolled my eyes and went back to the table, Still moped up about Austin…
"Steve? You look nice" I heard a familiar voice say, I turned and smiled at the face.
"Thanks, You don't look bad either" I said. He smiled.
"Wanna Dance?" Austin asked. I rolled my eyes.
"Wouldn't wanna upset your Date" I said bitterly as I was thinking of Kendra. Austin shook his head
"Nah She left said her Boyfriend made up with her" Austin confessed. I smiled and took his hand to the Dance floor and started slow dancing with each other as We looked into each other's eyes.
"You Know Steve? I've been meaning to say this to you since 6th Grade…." Austin started. I nodded for him to continue. He took a deep breath "I Like you, I mean I really like you" My eyes widen.
I smirked and leaned and kissed him, I pulled away.
"I'll that as a 'I like you back'" Austin said before he leaned in and kissed back. We then danced the night away….
