The loud house is owned by Nickelodeon (I know I didn't put that before because I forgot and this is my first fanfic)
At the time I read the comments, b and c were close so I'm gonna combine them into this.
3 months later (Loud house)
"Jake's birthday is coming up and I don't know what he wants" Lynn said in a panic. "Well, when is it" asked Lucy. "It's in four days" respond Lynn. "Isn't that on Lincoln's birthday" questions Lucy. "It is, but that isn't helping me think about a present for him".
Lucy thought about it and then remembered that the sisters have a meeting in Leni's room that's about to start. She told Lynn to bring it up then.
Three minutes later
The weekly sister meeting has begun. "We all know who's birthday is coming up", says Luna, "is there anything any of you guys want to bring up". Immediately remembering what Lucy had said, Lynn told everyone about Jake's birthday.
"Is there like a party for it" Leni asked. Lynn just responded with a "I don't think so". "Maybe we can throw him a surprise party, I mean we could invite his family over and we could like hang out". Lynn thought of Leni's idea, but then remembered every time she asked about his family, Jake would change the subject. Plus, she doesn't think a part where you don't really know half the guests is a good idea.
"Maybe you two could come to my concert" said Luna. Lynn thought about it, "Maybe, but it's gonna be awkward with all my sisters and parents staring at us". "It seems to me that there's a simple solution", chimes Lisa, "what if we all stay back". One by one the sisters agree and since there is nothing else left to discuss the meeting was over and Lynn had her date set.
Lincoln
Lincoln sat on the swing listening to songs. "Why do I have to have a birthday. It's always lonely and all I can think of is what my family is doing. What would I do if I go back? Would they still think of me as bad luck? Would they even care, ugh? Why does this have to be so complicated".
He kept thinking about what his family would do until a familiar face showed up. The girl pulled out one of his earbuds, "lookin lonely dweeb". It was Ashley and she started swinging next to him.
"Haven't seen you for a while" Lincoln asked. "I got fired for taking some money out of the cash register". Lincoln laughed, "doesn't surprise me".
The two kept swinging at talked till Ashley left.
At his "apartment", Lincoln noticed a sign on the front. "Creek side apartments. Reopening soon". "Fuck", Lincoln started panicking. "It took me three months to find this place and now I have to look for another".
He went to his stuff and got his laptop. He searched up when the apartment was reopening. He was in luck because he found out he had another month before any work is going to start.
After sleeping the night he got a new text message from L.J. She wanted to meet up. There was a slight problem. She wanted to meet up at the park that he used to take Lola and Lana. Although it was a risk, he wanted to be a good boyfriend. He had another 6 hours to wait and he didn't have to go to work.
Lincoln could go to the arcade and spend some time there. He grabbed a sack filled with quarters and left. He had a huge stack of tickets that he wants to spend on a new go cart, but is still 10,000 tickets short. For the next few hours he earned remaining tickets he needed for the go cart.
After 1 and a half year of saving tickets, Lincoln has earned himself 200,000 tickets which is the price of a new go cart. All the employees at the arcade were surprised because nobody had ever saved those many tickets before. Everyone was so surprised that they had called the manager telling him that someone won the go cart.
Although he didn't know how to ride it, he practice in an empty parking lot. The fun lasted about 30 minutes because he ran out of gas. Looking at the time, Lincoln realized it was time for him to meet up with L.J. He pushed his go cart all the way to his apartment, grabbed his skateboard and left.
30 minutes later
Lincoln arrived at the park and was eager to share the news of him winning the greatest prize imaginable. He first made sure that his family wasn't nearby. Looking around, he only saw a couple of people, none of which resembled his ex family members. Seeing at the coast was clear, he decided to do his favorite park activity, swinging on the swings.
L.J. walked to the park by herself. Even though the twins were begging to go with her, she'd rather just talk with Jake without worrying about Lola and Lana spying on her. Once at the park, she went straight for the swings. L.J. knew those are always Jakes go to spots at the park.
As soon as she saw him, she sat on the swing next to his. "I hope you're not too busy on your birthday cuz I got a surprise". Hearing that put a smile from ear to ear on Jake's face. "How did you remember?"
"How can I forget the birthday of the best boyfriend in the world".
"I'll have to check in with my secretary to make sure my schedule's clear for that day" joked Jake.
"Oh I also have great news. I saved up a ton of tickets from an arcade and won myself the coolest go cart".
L.J. laughed, "You have got to bring it around someday".
The two talked about random stuff until…
L.J. was still laughing from the embarrassing story about Jakes costume ripping while trick or treating with his younger sisters. "That was the first time you actually mentioned anything about your family. Why don't you talk about them and don't try to change the subject". Lincoln was caught off guard. he couldn't just make up any lie, so he told her in exaggerated truth sorry of way.
"It's not that I hate my family or anything, its just that things tend to get out of hand pretty easily in my family. On many occasions, I got blamed for things I didn't cause. But the worst thing that happened was because of my older sister. We got into a bad fight". Lynn rubbed her arm as she thought the time that her brother broke her arm. "After that day, it was like a barrier was formed that stopped us from being close again"
"Oh, I'm sorry I brought up those memories" said L.J. "It's not your fault, you were just curious. Anyway I better get going".
30 minutes later (At the loud house)
Lynn passed all the chaos that was going on downstairs and went into her room to stuff her head in her pillow. Lucy put her poetry journal down and looked at Lynn, "how did the date go". "Terrible. I feel like the worlds shittiest girlfriend. I asked him why he doesn't talk about his family so he told me why and now I think he hates me for bringing up his bad memories". Lucy looks at Lynn with the dead stare she gives to everyone, "if he truly hates you, he wouldn't come to the concert". Lynn threw a pillow at the goth, "not helping".
Lynn stayed up until 3 to see if there was any new messages. None. Thoughts raced across her mind, "Does he hate me. Does he never want to talk to me. Does he want to break up". Eventually Lynn fell asleep, lost in her thoughts.
"Lincoln, what are you doing here". Lynn looked in her reflection noticing herself to be a couple years younger. Without a second to think Lynn got punched in the face.
Lynn balled her hands into fists, "I lost to you once but I won't lose again". With that, Lynn jumps at Lincoln. She pinned him down and was punching vigorously at Lincoln but suddenly stopped. "I'm not gonna repeat what happened last time".
Lincoln took this moment of weakness to get on top of Lynn and started to punch her. "You had your second chance, but you didn't take it". Without any remorse, Lincoln grabbed her arm and twisted it. Lynn screamed.
Lynn shoot up immediately from where she was sleeping. She noticed her body was drenched in sweat and started to rub her arm. Across the room, Lucy woke from all the noise her sister was making.
Noticing that her sister was awake, Lynn whispered her a question. "Lucy, do you think that Lincoln forgive me yet". Lucy didn't know how to respond, but she wanted her sister to feel better. "I don't think he forgot about everything, but I do think he's moved on from holding to the painful memories". With the reassuring words from her sister, Lynn drifted to sleep once more.
Morning
"So Lynn, you wanna talk about your nightmare", asked Lucy. Lynn remembered the whole nightmare, "No". Lucy didn't think much of it and went back to eating her breakfast.
Lynn took a look at her phone to see if there was any message from Jake. She was thrilled to see a good morning text. That meant he probably isn't mad at her. All of her doubts seemingly washed over her when she read that text.
Afternoon (Lincoln)
Lincoln was five minutes away from going home. Usually he would talk with Ashley or Brayden, but Ashley got fired and Brayden was on vacation. With those two gone, he had a choice of being bored or talk with the other workers. Of course he would choose being bored.
Lincoln was wondering on where he would live when he moves out of his "apartment". He had seen a few other abandoned places that would work.
There aren't many places to choose from, so it wasn't hard narrowing it down to two places. One was a place that still had solar panels, but it was near a busy street which meant he has a higher chance of getting caught. The other place had no electricity, a lot of room, and was on a road that remained empty for the majority of the time.
When he was done thinking, he saw that it was time to collect his bi-weekly paycheck. When he got the paycheck, he remembered a girl from a while ago, J.J.
He didn't even know if she was still at the ally, but it wouldn't hurt to find out. As he grabbed his skateboard, he headed to the corner of 1st and 2nd street. To his surprise, she was still there and she was still playing cards.
"Hey you", J.J. called out as she saw the boy, "aren't you Ronnie Anne's friend". "Yeah". Lincoln nodded, "is it true what she's telling me, that you ran away". Lincoln was shocked that she knew about that. "Hey, I won't call the cops. In fact, I ran away too".
She stood up, put down the cards, and stood in the light. It was the first time he'd actually seen her. She looked as if she was 17. She was hot, she was Mexican, and she had straight silky looking hair.
She put her hand on Lincoln's shoulder, "You know, I also ran away. By the way, what's your real name, not the fake name that you tell everyone". "My names Lincoln". He was hesitant to say his last name. "So Lincoln", said J.J., "do you have a place to stay". Lincoln felt as if she could tell the difference between a lie and a truth, so he told the truth, "I stay at an abandoned apartment".
"Do you mind if I crash with you, I mean I won't bother you. I'm just tired of sleeping out here", she pointed to a corner with a little cover and sleeping bag, "it's supposed to be raining outside and…". Before she could finish the sentence, Lincoln already said yes.
As Lincoln was walking with J.J. he was making small talk, "so, what's your name". J.J. was walking next to him, "my name's Julia, but people call me either J.J. or jewels".
Lincoln thought about his building and needed to tell Julia, "I have to find some other place to stay in. Not because of you, but because the city is going to reopen the apartment complex". Julia was bummed, but at least she has a place to stay for a while, "how long before we have to move". Lincoln noticed how she said we, but didn't really care, "1 and a half weeks".
At the apartment, she noticed the go cart at the back parking, "wait, are you the kid that won the go cart from the arcade". Lincoln didn't know that many people heard about him winning the go cart, "Yeah, how do you know about it". Julia remembered a time from five months ago.
I was at school, before I ran away. All the guys at the school wanted to win that. They would all head over there after school to get earn more tickets. Even though everyone wanted it, no one wanted to share it, therefore nobody pooled their tickets together.
After a while, everyone stole tickets from someone else. Two months ago, I heard one of the guys at my school, stole so many tickets that he was only 20,000 tickets away from winning it. After I ran away, I heard that guy moved away, taking his tickets with him. When my friends texted me yesterday, they were all talking about how a kid in middle school won it.
Flashback over
Lincoln was confused on how people found out on the exact day of it happening. The two talked for quite some time before Lincoln fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, Lincoln woke up to the sound of thunder. As he looked around the room, he saw J.J. staring out the window. "What's wrong", asked Lincoln. J.J. looked across the room until she saw Lincoln awake and looking at her, "I was just hitting my wax pen".
Lincoln didn't notice that until Julia pointed it out. "You wanna try". Lincoln knew deep down that he shouldn't, but he took the offer out of curiosity.
As Lincoln put the pen to his mouth, he wondered if it was too late to back out. He closed his eyes and started to inhale. Right after he blew the smoke out, he started coughing, "You seriously spend you're money on this shit", exclaimed Lincoln. Julia started laughing, "that's what I thought when I started, but you get used to it. If you want you could do other things like bongs, weed, and edibles".
"What's the point of even doing drugs?". "To get away from all of this. To forget about the shit you've gone through. It's like a way to escape the situation you're in".
"To each their own I guess, but I'm gonna have to pass on that", said Lincoln as he laid back down on his mattress and fell asleep to the calming sound of rain and the occasional thunder.
Morning (Lincoln)
Lincoln woke up and was startled to see a figure asleep in a sleeping bag across the room. It took him a second to realize it was J.J. and that he abruptly agreed to let her stay with him.
Not feeling like brushing his teeth at the moment, Lincoln pulled out a pop tart for breakfast. Hearing the wrapper, J.J. finally got up and without serving thought, Lincoln tossed her a pack of strawberry pop tarts.
"Hey listen, I know that I said I was gonna leave soon, but is it okay if I stay for a bit longer". J.J. wasn't the type of person to get nervous, but she was starting to worry that he's going to kick her out.
Lincoln was starting to pull out two pop tarts when she finally said it. "You can stay, but I'm not gonna be paying for everything". Julia let out a sigh of relief, "no problem, I'll get a job and use some of my left over savings".
Once again, Lincoln needed to get food and other necessities for living on the streets. After eating his pop tart and reluctantly brushing his teeth, he headed out. As he walked, he saw a comic book shop. He had extra money so he thought about going inside.
The shop looked nicer than most, it had every comic Lincoln could think of. As Lincoln browsed, he saw a help wanted sign. Lincoln took the opportunity because he knew the boss at burpin burgers was finding out about the stolen merchandise.
Lincoln headed out with an application form and went to get some food. As Lincoln went to the corner store, he passed the new apartment he was going to be squatting in. The apartment still had that empty feeling inside, but Lincoln could fix that as soon as he moved in.
At the corner store, Lincoln just got what he normally would, instant noodles, pop tarts, water, and some gum. Lincoln paid for everything and then went home.
He went onto his laptop to watch some shows, but got interrupted by a text from L.J. I hope you didn't forget about your surprise:) Meet me at the royal woods high school.
Lincoln sighed, just the thought of his birthday made him feel uncomfortable. He still told her he would be there though.
Morning (Loud house)
"Hey Luna, when are we going to leave for the concert" asked Lynn. "We're leaving at 5:30 then I'm dropping you off back home at 9:00".
Lynn ate her cereal and then went into her room to make sure she had everything for the day.
Lynn looked at everything she laid out "tickets check, fresh outfit check, Money check, birthday card check. Done getting everything ready, now just need to wait 8 more hours".
Lincoln (afternoon 3:00)
Lincoln went into the apartment after his shift and saw Julia filling out some applications for a job. She was applying to a beauty salon, fast food place, and a grocery store. All of which had decent pay. "I see someone finally is finding a job".
"If I'm gonna stay with you, I'm gonna make sure to help pay for some stuff". With those words, she went back to filling the applications.
Lincoln spent 2 hours watching shows on his laptop. Lincoln checked the time and it was about time for him to get ready to go to the surprise that L.J. planned for him.
From what she has told him, he should wear something that he would wear at a party. He wore a red shirt with some jeans and the beanie he never left home without.
"See you later Julia, I'll be back soon".
"Don't stay out too long".
Lincoln closed the door, "whatever you say mom".
Since he had 2 miles to go, he took his skateboard and chain.
5:00 (Loud house)
Lynn was in her room getting ready for her night. "Glad I picked out my outfit earlier" thought Lynn. She put everything in her pockets since she didn't like the thought of having a purse.
She waited on the couch for a while before Sam showed up in her car. She and Luna headed out for the night.
"You excited for your first concert Lynn", asked Sam. "Kind of". "Well you don't have to be, just do what feels right" assured Luna".
They arrived at the high school where the concert was.
"See you after the show", said Luna as she carried her guitar to the performer entrance.
Lynn spotted Jake chaining up his skateboard and walked up to him, "I got you a birthday card".
After the two exchanged kisses, the two headed inside the high school to where the concert was held. It was bigger than what two thought it would be.
Jake was already off edge from the off chance that one of his sisters might be there. The opening act was on and the two started dancing with each other.
After a couple songs in, Jake began to loosen up, and really started to enjoy his night.
It was around 7:00 when Luna and her band finally got onto the stage.
Lincoln was in disbelief at who he was seeing. He was thinking about an excuse to step out, but Lynn already noticed something wrong with him.
"You good Jake?", questions L.J.
"I think I have to leave, I'm not feeling so good" said Jake as he started to turn around.
"Dang it, just when my sister is performing" Lynn exclaimed.
Thoughts raced through Lincoln mind as he stared back at L.J., "Sam is your sister?" asked Lincoln hoping she would say yes.
"No silly, Luna is my sister, the one in the center, Luna Loud".
Lincoln was frozen like a statue. A mix of anger, and disgust rushed through him. He didn't know whether to scream or to puke. "you knew it was me didn't you. You knew ever since the haunted house. You knew it was me."
Lynn, confused on what was happening, "what are you talking about?"
"This is probably your way of getting back at me isn't it! And don't try act dumb you knew what you were doing" at this moment, the bags turned to sadness "but why, why would you do it".
Before Lynn could even comprehend the situation, Lincoln threw the birthday card on the ground and ran off.
Even though didn't know what just happened, she knew that it was over between them and that was enough to make her cry.
As Luna finishes her song, she looked around the crowd and saw Lynn. Her smiling face quickly faded away. She motioned to Sam that she had to leave.
Luna hastily put her guitar in its case and went down the stage to find her younger sister crying.
Lynn wiped the tears off her face, "I have to go, I'll see you at home". Before Luna could get a word in, Lynn dashed to the exit. Luna tried to get to her, but couldn't due to the crowd of fans asking for autographs.
When Luna finally got out of the school, she saw Lynn sitting on a bench. Luna had a mix of anger and sadness inside her.
Lynn looked at her older sister with tears in her eyes, "what did I do wrong. Was it the way I acted, was it the way I-" before Lynn could finish the sentence, Luna hugged her younger sister.
"Hey, it's ok, just let it all out" assured Luna.
Lynn's took the chance and cried harder than even broke her arm.
It didn't take long for Luna to figure out Lynn's boyfriend had something to do with this. "I'm sure whatever happened was just a misunderstanding".
"Maybe" cried Lynn, "But that doesn't change the fact that he basically broke up with me". Physically saying that caused her to cry even harder into her sisters arms.
Luna pulled Lynn off from the bench. "How about we end the night a little early. Or do you want to beat him up first and then go home". Lynn gave a small chuckle while wiping her tears, "home please".
The two walked the mile and a half walk home. It was mostly quite unless Luna tried to make Lynn smile. The two stopped at the side gate to the backyard.
Luna explained how she gets into the house without their parents knowing. They hopped the fence and grabbed a rope that was hidden in a bush.
When Luna climbed into her room, she heard laughter coming from down stairs. "They're all down stairs", whispered Luna as she helped Lynn up.
Lynn leapt at Luna with a hug. "Thank you". Luna was surprised by this, but like any great sister, she embraced the hug.
