Inside the magic academy's courtyard, Saito was training in swordmanship by using some wooden targets as usual under a bright sun. He and Louise had come back from their mission in Tristania, during which they found out about the possible conspiracy that threatened Henrietta's family: Reconquista.

When they told her about it, she worried very much and was glad that the one who spied them didn't hurt them, thanking them for their help. But during their time at Charming Fairies, the swordsman had to deal with Jessica flirting with him, as she liked him more after he helped them with that corrupted tax collector.
