Here's an extra long chapter, just for you. I'm pretty sure you can all guess by the title that someone is gonna kiss someone. I do not own OSHSC.

Hikaru's POV

She had an adorably thoughtful look on her face as she stared at the amber filled flute on the waiter's tray. I shook my head and came up behind her, picking up a glass. I leaned down to her ear, "It's not champagne, Sunlight," I whispered.

That seemed to reassure her as she picked up a glass and smiled her thanks at the waiter. He didn't seem immune to her charms, so I gave him a look that had him scampering off. Sunny stared after him in confusion, probably wondering what she did wrong.

"Hmm," she muttered, "I guess I set people off sometimes." She cautiously took a sip at her drink, smacking her crimson lips together at the taste. "This is cider," she said as she swished the liquid around in her glass. "By the way, why is it that you're still avoiding me?" She looked me right in the eyes as she asked this. "Did you put your brother up to that or was it just his doing? I don't appreciate you trying to trick me like that."

"Well..." I trailed on. Fortunately for me Haruhi was making her way towards us, with another person walking behind her. "Good Evening, Haruhi. Perfect timing."

She gave me a weird look then turned to Sunny. "There's someone that I would like you to meet." She gestured to the guy next to her. "I'd like to introduce you to one of my guests, Kasanoda."

"Hello, Bossa Nova," I interrupted. "So nice to see you, but on behalf of the male portion of Host Club, I would like to ask you to refrain from seeing Sunlight while she's changing. Let me warn you that both Kaoru and I will not hesitate to induce amnesia this time, not even Kyoya-senpai will be able to stop us this time. You already know that she is a girl, like Haruhi, so for your sake, remember to knock."

He got a little red at my reminder of him seeing Haruhi changing, but I knew my message got to him. Haruhi glared at me a little, but I was really surprised by Sunny's reaction to him.

"Yes, Kasandoda," she said with a coy smile on her face, "I think I'll have to agree with Hikaru this time. I'd really appreciate it if you refrained from seeing me change, but other than that it's nice to meet you." There was an embarrassed look on his face, that I started to chuckle into my hand. "Now, back to the topic at hand, how exactly did you see Haruhi in her underwear?" She took a drink from her glass, looking him right in the eye.

He put a hand behind his red neck, looking away from her calculated gaze. "Well... I might have forgotten to knock while I was looking for Haruhi," he sputtered.

Sunny tilted her head in thought, then she turned to me. "I don't see what's so funny, Hikaru. If I remember correctly, that's exactly what you did to me when we first met. You could try taking your own advice." I abruptly let my laughter die as she turned to away to drink from her glass, then I was the one that started to turn red, Haruhi trying her fight down her laughter and Bossa Nova stood there looking confused.

"You wouldn't happen to be type AB, would you?" I asked.

"Yeah. How'd you know?" she asked with genuine curiosity.

"Just a lucky guess," I muttered, tugging at my collar. I saw Haruhi smiling behind her hand and Bossa Nova shrinking away from Sunny. Her answer was mostly expected but I knew that her other side wasn't as serious as Kyoya-senpai's or Honey-snepai's, so no one really had anything to worry about. Sunny's too much of a nice person to be that violent, Haruhi must obviously know that too.

"Now that we understand each other, let me introduce myself. I'm Katayama, Haruhi's cousin, but you can call me Sunny," she said cheerfully, bowing her head at him.

"Uh," he muttered, obviously not knowing what to do. "I'm Kasanoda, nice to meet you," he finally said, bowing his head back at her. "I was wondering if I would ever be able to meet Fujiok's cousin, seems as if joining this club really made you noticeable." Sunny just stared at him. "Not that not joining would have made you go unnoticed, you're already attractive enough to be noticed outside of club activities. Wait! What I mean is-urg! Help me out here, Hitachiin!"

He was frantic for help, but that made it all the more fun to not help out. I took a gulp from my glass in amusement, enjoying the show. "Sorry, Bossa Nova," I said. "You're on your own."

"He means you're cute," announced Haruhi. A few seconds later Sunny's face turned a few shades brighter than her dress.

"Uh, thanks," she sputtered. She made eye-contact with the floor for a while before she raised her head and looked back at Bossa Nova. "You're pretty handsome yourself, Kasanoda," she said, with full on eye-contact.

It was his turn to blush next, but then Kanako and Renge came up towards our group. "Sunny-chan, that was such an incredible performance, we want to congratulate you. You have such a lovely voice," Renge gushed, getting rid a bit of the awkwardness.

Sunny's color seemed to have gone back to normal, the only blush left on her cheeks were from her makeup. "Thanks so much, you two. It was nothing really, I was really nervous during the song. Your dresses are beautiful, by the way."

She was right, Kanako wore a spaghetti-strapped pink dress that went down to her calves, while Renge wore a dark shade of blue, a very long skirt trailing behind her. "Thanks, but you look absolutely astonishing in that. You fill it out really well, don't you agree, Haruhi?" Of course she agreed, what person would say that she didn't look beautiful in that? You'd have to be blind not to see how she glowed and shimmered in that!

"Haruhi is only saying that because he's related to me. I probably look ridiculous," she said.

Kanako gave her a look, then turned to Bossa Nova and me. "What do the two of you think?"

"Huh," we said, surprised.

"What do you think of her tonight?" Renge demanded. Sunny turned away, starting to blush again at the attention.

"She looks great in it," muttered Bossa Nova.

"She's pretty in it," I said, not meeting their eyes.

"Pretty? Great?" she repeated angrily. "That's the best you can do?"

Sunny and Kanako tried to calm her down, but I could understand her anger. Those simple words couldn't describe Sunlight at all, she deserved better. And that's just what I'm gonna do.

"You're right. That's a very bad choice of vocabulary," I said, interrupting their little argument. "Sunlight is absolutely radiant and dazzling." To further my point I grabbed Sunny's hand, the one that wasn't holding the glass, and brought it to my lips, which was hard since I was taller than her, so I bent down a bit. I kept eye-contact with her as I kissed it. "Now if you excuse me, I have to find Kaoru." I bowed and walked away, glad that my back was to them.

Glad that they weren't able to see my reddened face.

Sunny's POV

Renge was the first one of us to react. "What just happened?" she asked, voicing everyone's thoughts.

"I think...," I started, trying to process what just happened, "Hikaru just complimented me."

The rest of the evening went by strangely after that. After days of practice prior to the event, I managed to walk and dance alright. Everyone got really quiet while me and Haruhi danced, some people shushing each other or pausing during a drink. Kyoya-senpai was right, people were dying to see us dance. It was strange enough that I was already taller than her, but it was really a sight when I wore heels.

Somehow I was standing next to Kyoya-senpai, while all the other hosts were dancing with some girls. I had already danced with Kasanoda twice, the entire time his face brighter than his hair as he put his hands on me. The poor guy was terrified of me. When I found out that he had found out about Haruhi being a girl, I wasn't all that mad. Things happened, after all that had happened to me too. But I wanted to get my message across that I wouldn't be okay with him seeing me too, it was already bad enough that Kyoya-senpai and Hikaru already knew my secret, I didn't need him knowing too.

Besides, I'm pretty sure the rest of the club members would appreciate it even less if that did happen. I was worried about how badly Kyoya-senpai would threaten him.

"It seems as if you've worked the room quite well, Miss Sunlight," commented Kyoya-senpai, holding his notes in his hands. We both watched as Honey-senpai and a few girls played some kind of tag game on the other side of the room, Mori-senpai silently watching them as he leaned back against a wall, with a few girls hanging around him.

"Not really, but thanks," I said, actually kind of pleased that he complimented me.

"I have a request."

"What?"

"You see the corner of the room over there?" he asked, pointing his pen over to where the tag game was being played.

"Yeah. What about it?"

"I had someone place some mistletoe there and-"

"Nope," I said, abruptly stopping him.

"You didn't even let me finish," he said, faking being hurt.

"I know exactly what you want me to do. You want me to go stand over there and wait for the first guy to come over and kiss them."

"My, my, Miss Sunlight so knowledgeable. But you wouldn't actually have to kiss them on the lips a nice peck on the cheek or forehead will do and I'll take off 200 guests from Haruhi's debt."

"Hmm... I'm listening."

"By my calculations, there's about a 17% chance of the six men to go over to you, Haruhi definitely isn't one of them. But I'm not sure if any of the waiters will actually approach you or not. So you'll have to be on guard for them, because they will count."

"I notice that you're not participating."

"Miss Sunlight," he said, his tone chastising me, "if I were to take part, what kind of business relationship would we have then?"

"Good point. So that's: Honey-senpai, Mori-senpai, Tamaki-senpai, Hikaru, Kaoru, and Kasanoda who are in the running, along with a few waiters. Do any of them actually know that there's mistletoe there?"

"Of course not," he scoffed. "Where would the fun be in that?"

I sighed. "You promise to take off 200 from Haruhi?" I asked.

"I swear it," he said with conviction.

"Fine, I'll do it," I huffed, pushing back my shoulders as I picked up a glass and walked over to the corner. I dodged a few running girls that were playing the game barefoot. Lucky for me that there was a window at the corner, so I wouldn't look too out of place as I waited for an unsuspecting male.

It was already dark outside, really quiet. Then the most amazing thing happened, it started snowing. It had already been snowing since late November, but it seemed much more magical snowing tonight.

I had lived my entire live not ever seeing it fall for real, always on television. I had played in it plenty of times on trips, but never like this. Every detail was sharp and profound, I wanted nothing more than to keep watching this beautiful sight. Little white puffs started to pile up, everything looked soft enough to fall into and take a nice long nap.

I didn't realize how long I was standing there until I felt a tap on my arm. I didn't see anyone when I looked up, but then I glance downwards. Honey-senpai was standing there in his handsome waistcoat, panting and out of breath.

"You're it," he said, scampering off. He looked over his shoulder and stopped when he saw that I wasn't running after him. He cautiously made his way back to me, tapping my shoulder again and again, trying to get me to play. "What's wrong?" he asked. "Don't you know how to play?"

"I do," I started, "but I can't really leave right now."

"How come?" he asked, tilting his head in confusion.

"Well... look up." I pointed at the place where the mistletoe was hidden from view.

"Oh," he said in understanding.

"Yeah, I know. Kyoya-senpai put me up to this. It's alright if you don't want to do it though, I'm not gonna force you to do anything."

"Stay right there," he commanded. He walked away, only to come back dragging a chair. He climbed up on top on it and stood tall, reaching me at eye-level.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked, smiling at his antics.

"Sure I'm sure," he reassured me. He reached out and grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me towards him. He inched me closer and closer, but his lips never reached me.

"Mitsukuni, you should know better and consider his feelings," said Mori-senpai as calmly tossed Honey-senpai over his shoulder.

"I was just gonna kiss her on the cheek," he complained as he squirmed out of his grip and onto his shoulders.

He looked right at me and asked, "Where is Hikaru?"

"Um," I muttered in confusion. I turned towards the crowd and pointed him out in the crowd, he was looking over at us, surrounded by quite a few of his admirers, or maybe they were Kaoru's? The girls didn't know the difference between them, so most of them were probably fawning over the wrong guy.

"Wait right there," he commanded. I nodded, sipping at my drink, wondering what he was gonna do. I saw that a few of the girls were still playing the game, I saw Renge being one of them, tripping over her long dress.

"Mori-senpai! Let me go!" I heard someone yell. I looked over and saw Mori-senpai carrying Hikaru over his shoulder, Honey-senpai scampering after them "What are you doing?! Whatever it is you think I did, it wasn't me!"

"You can put him down now, Takashi," said Honey-senpai. He set him down to his feet and pointed at me. Hikaru glanced at me then back at Mori-senpai in confusion. Mori-senpai then pointed upwards at the mistletoe. Understanding covered Hikaru's features and then looked back at me, accusation in his eyes.

"Don't look at me like that," I hissed in embarrassment. "It was Kyoya-senpai's idea. You weren't even the one that was here first, Honey-senpai was just about to-" We both looked over and saw that both he and Mori-senpai were already far across the other side of the room. "Great," I muttered, "looks like I'm stuck with you."

"What makes you think that I'm gonna do it?"

"Because if you don't that means you're a wimp. I mean, you kind of a guy kisses a girl's hand but won't kiss her cheek? And besides Kyoya-senpai said that he'll take off 200 guests from Haruhi. You'll be helping her out, Hikaru," I said, trying to bait him, every one of the Host's had a weak spot for her, so I was hoping he would help the both of us out.

He sighed in defeat. "Just a kiss on the cheek?" he asked, blushing a little. I nodded and crossed my heart. "Let's get this over with." He took a few steps towards me, his back facing the rest of the room. He was a lot slower in his advance than Honey-senpai, making start to chuckle. "What?" he demanded.

"Sorry, sorry," I said. "It's nothing, please continue."

I kept a straight face on this time, looking him right in the eye. He reached out a hand to grab a hold of my chin. He lifted up my head a little and moved his head to the side. His was going exasperatingly slower, I sighed a little on the inside wishing that he would hurry up.

I didn't have time to say a word, one second the group of girls are running past us the next second Renge is tripping over her long skirt and crashing into Hikaru. It was like seeing the domino effect happen before your eyes. Renge's momentum pushed her toward Hikaru and then transferred to him, and finally to me. He was clearly unprepared and couldn't stop himself from going forward.

His trajectory was sending him right at me, until it happened. His lips crashed right into my lipstick covered ones. Both of our eyes were wide open in shock, but it didn't stop there, the momentum was still so strong and it wasn't letting up there. Both of us were sent crashing to the floor, with him on top. He was able to brace himself a little and kept most of his weight off of me during the fall, but my head ricocheted off the floor back to hit his chin.

He lost his hold then and fell on me, full force. He knocked the breath out of me, at the back of my mind being thankful that I had set my glass down earlier. We lied there for a few seconds, trying to gauge what just happened. I was the first one to react, I pulled my hands up to his firm chest and used whatever strength I had left to push him off.

I sat up from my position on the floor, rubbing my forehead, I then realized that Hikaru's chin is a lot harder than it looks. I saw Renge laying on the floor next to us. "Oh my gosh! How hurt are you, Renge?!" I franticly asked. I crawled over to her and saw that she had a red mark on her face. "We need to put some ice on that," I said, getting both myself and her up off the floor.

"I'm just fine, but are you alright?" she asked in concern. I batted her hand away and started to drag her away. "Wait, what about him?" she asked, looking over her shoulder. I left her there standing alone and went over to Hikaru.

I offered him my hand and helped him off the floor. "Do you hurt?" I asked.

"A little," he said. "Has anyone ever told you that you're really hard headed?" he joked, rubbing his jaw.

"Ha, ha. Very funny," I said in sarcasm. "Now if you excuse me, I need to help Renge." I started to walk away again.

"Wait! What about me? I'm injured too!"

"You're a big boy, Hikaru. Get Kaoru to help you." I went back to Renge and rushed her by the crowd that began to form and the girls that were swarming towards Hikaru, asking if he was okay. In the middle of all that chaos we passed by Kyoya-senpai.

I stopped next to him. "Was that good enough for you?" I asked.

"Very much so, Miss Sunlight," he answered. "I'm just sorry that it was at the expense of your first kiss."

"What?!" yelled Renge. "That was your first kiss?! I'm so sorry!" She bowed her head down.

"Yeah, well, I have more important things to worry about than a stupid kiss that didn't even count."

I pulled her over to the giant table that held the food. There was a giant ice sculpture in the shape of an angel that was at the end of it. I didn't really care about what I was doing as I grabbed a cloth napkin and chipped off some the its wing.

I wrapped the ice in the napkin and put it to Renge's head. "You should make one for yourself, too," she said. I did, and it didn't take long for some of my clients to make their way towards us, frantic to find out if we were alright.

I smiled and said that I was, at least physically. I was a mess on the inside.

I had just had my first kiss, and in such a way! Whatever, it didn't even count as a real kiss! It's not as if Hikaru had actually meant to kiss me, he said that he would get my cheek.

But when he was slowly leaning down towards me, he hadn't gone for the side of my face, instead he just tilted his face and went straight. And when Renge crashed into him, he definitely shouldn't have gone right towards my lips, he would have just grazed my cheek.

Did that mean he was actually aiming for my lips? No, he couldn't have! He said that he didn't want to kiss me, so why would he do that?! If he was, was that the reason he moved so slowly? Was he trying to build up the nerve to do it?

I looked over at him in question. He didn't like me like that, so why'd he do it?

Did you at all imagine their kiss to go like that? Because we all knew it was eventually going to happen. What do you think?
