A.N: Ugh. I REALLY hate writers block. It seems as if sometimes I don't really know where in Ninjago I'm going with this story. But, I'm very glad to present chapter 14 of The Little Green Hero! Kudos to 17blanceri for giving me the idea on how to start this chapter. Please review, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope everyone's Christmas was awesome!

To anonymous1201: Xander is pronounced Zander, so the x is said like a z. Hope this helps!

Lloyd's POV:

Sunlight streamed into my bedroom as I slowly opened my eyes. I began to sit up, but my back was sore and achy, and someone's arm was around it. I groggily looked up to see Dad asleep while holding me. Since when does he come into my room?

Only one way to find out.

At first, I thought of just shaking his shoulder or something to wake him up. But where's the fun in that? I stretched my arm to grab my Ninjago2ds off my nightstand. I popped in Pokemon X (I got that game for Christmas, it's INSANELY AWESOME) and cranked up the volume to full blast. As I put the game system next to his ear, I couldn't help but grin mischievously. The intro began to play, and I held my breath.

The bright blue X flashed across the screen as the music screamed in our heads. My Dad shot up and frantically looked around. His eyes rested on me, then my game, and then back to me. I merely smiled sweetly. "Morning sleepyhead." His blood red eyes narrowed into slits, then popped back open. "Has Kai been teaching you more pranks lately?"

I shrugged. Dad ruffled my hair while he chuckled. "Interesting wakeup call Lloyd." I smiled. "Well, where's the fun in just shaking your shoulder?" Dad boomed with laughter, which I always love to hear. When I was little, my primary objective was to make my Dad laugh. I missed those days; they were so much more carefree and simple. Amazing how much my life has changed. For the better, and for the worse.

"Why were you in my room?" I asked, curious. Dad thought for a moment. "I came in to check on you last night, and I guess I fell asleep."

He studied me quickly, his eyes now expressing concern. "You looked like you were having a nightmare son. What were you dreaming about?"

My heart sank. I knew all too well what I was dreaming about, but I pretended to ponder it. But nothing can get past my Dad, he raised an eyebrow. I sighed in defeat. "I…I don't really wanna talk about it. It was scary."

My mind flashed back to last night, to my dream that could very well become a reality.

I was playing soccer with the ninja outside in the park as the Bounty was parked in the sea further north. The grass was coated with frost, and the brisk winter air was stinging my face. The images of my dream were slightly distorted, but I was able to make them out.

Cole had the ball and was dribbling down the field, with me chasing him at full speed. It wasn't that painful to run, so I guess this was at a point when my ribs were almost healed. I weaved through Cole's legs and caught the ball. My feet skillfully moved the ball in the opposite direction, and passed the ball to Kai.

However, Kai missed, and the ball flew into the woods. "I'll go get the ball" Kai said, and sauntered into the woods.

After a few minutes of eerie silence, Cole grew concerned and the rest of the ninja set out to find him. "Stay here, and yell for us if you get in trouble. We'll be back soon" Cole had told me.

I obeyed his instruction, and I sighed in relief when the ninja returned with Kai. The one thing that was odd was that they all had shades on. When I asked why, Jay smirked. "'Cause it's bright out shrimp. Why else?" I was puzzled by his attitude. Jay never talks like that unless forced to.

Zane said that the ball was stuck in a bush that I would be able to reach because of my size. I hesitantly followed them down the paths and past dozens of trees.

The ninja stopped abruptly. They parted to let me see past them, and what I saw made me squeak.

Skales. With at least 20 hypnobrai warriors behind him.

In rapid succession, my friends removed the shades to reveal the blood red eye color of the hypnobrai.

I was caught. Again.

My dream skipped until I was back in the underground fortress. I was chained to the wall with new cuts spewing fresh blood and soot and dirt caking my cheeks. I was so weak, so tired. Everything happening around me was all just one big blur.

I was dimly aware of the ninja, Dad, Uncle, and Nya fighting. It was what they were fighting that made me confused. They looked like human soldiers, but see through, and inky black. Almost like a shadow come to life. My friends and family were having trouble fending them off, all their attacks went right through them.

The temperature dropped around me, and I shivered. A cold figure emerged in front of my eyes. It looked somewhat human, but see through silver, obsidian eyes and silvery hair.

"It is time" he said with no emotion. The chains around my wrists vanished, and my arms flopped to my sides. I didn't have the strength to lift them up.

A dagger was brought out from behind him, and I realized what he was about to do. He shoved me so I was on my knees. I looked over to the battle and scanned for my father. When I saw him, I screamed, "DAD! HELP ME!" His head shot up and saw me. He dropped kicked the warrior he was fighting and sprinted towards me.

The silver dude growled, and the dagger entered my chest.

I shuddered. After that, my dream seemed to change completely and switched to something much more pleasant. I forget what it was.

Dad looked at me, and I avoided his gaze. I don't want him to worry about me anymore than he already has. Besides, it takes a lot to make him scared, and I think this would scare him.

"Lloyd." He said. "Maybe you'll feel better if you talk about it." I closed my eyes and shook my head as I brought my knees to my head.

A gurgle was felt in my stomach. I laughed a little, as well as my father. "You hungry?" I nodded. I began to stand up, but the room suddenly began to tilt and my back pulsed with pain. I groaned and sat back down, feeling light-headed.

Dad winced. "Right. Nya said for you to stay in bed for a while. The medicine kinda does that." I glared at the floor. "Don't worry; I'll stay with you for the day. Make sure you're alright and get better. " I beamed. Just me and my Dad for the whole day? Things are looking up.

"Want some pancakes?" I raised an eyebrow like he did earlier. "What do you think?" Dad chuckled. "I'll be back."

When he left the room, I looked at my arm and remembered what I did yesterday. I concentrated and felt flames flicker up my arm. I stared in awe. Does that mean I can harness the other elements too? Who knows?

I turned back to my game and opened it up. I entered the game and picked up where I left off in Pokemon X. A trainer challenged me and sent out a bug type pokemon that looked like a butterfly. Easy.

A.N: ARGGGG I APOLOGIZE FOR THE BAD ENDING. But I hope you like this chapter! PLEASE OH PLEASE REVIEW! Thanks!
