A.N: OMG. You guys. You are awesome. Thanks for the reviews! I am so pleased to hear that my writing has gotten better since that fateful night that I joined this website. You should see the stupid grin on my face when I read my reviews. I feel like a five-year old after getting a new toy.

VERY ACTIONY CHAPTER! I've never really been very good at writing fast-paced kind of stuff, so please, I would appreciate constructive criticism.

Enough about me. Please read, review, and train to be a ninja! XD Either Catching Bones or Silence is Golden will be updated next, depending on how many ideas I may receive.

Quick question, how do you spell Zane's golden weapon?

Lloyd's POV:

Cole and I took the lead and swung open the ancient doors, storming out into the darkened chamber. The quiet from before dissipated quickly down below and serpentine big and small started grabbing weapons and charging into battle.

Cole was in front, then me, Jay, Zane, and Kai. The catwalk was getting more and more crowded as more shadow warriors invaded the walkway. Cole led us down the way we came, with the warriors trailing close behind us. My heart was pounding so loud, I'm surprised that the others didn't hear it.

The end of the catwalk quickly came into view, but an armada of snakes suddenly appeared to block our path. On the other side of the ramp, the shadow warriors were closing in fast.

"Now what?"Jay asked frantically. In frustration, Kai pulled out his sword and sliced it at an oncoming warrior, but the weapon phased right through it. It grinned in pleasure and quickly pinned the fiery ninja on his knees.

Kai panicked and looked to us. "A little help back here?" Zane pulled out his shurikens and froze the floor surrounding the pair, causing the warrior to have his ankles trapped in ice. The red ninja struggled to free himself, but his captor had an iron grip.

Like statues, the snakes stood there, acting like a barrier while Venom's army did all the work. I looked back and forth, causing my soft blonde hair to whip around.

I bit my tongue before I began to freak out. Doing the only thing that came to mind, I shot a fireball at Kai's captor, expecting it to go straight through, but the warrior disappeared, and Kai scrambled to his feet.

Cole looked at me with wide eyes. "So only your powers can defeat them." I shrugged. Zane spoke up. "But this means that only Lloyd can take them on! The rest of us are powerless against them!" "Alright, for now, let's just get outta here," Cole said tiredly, "and then we'll sort this out."

It only took a few swings of his scythe for the snakes to abandon the scene. Before we continued, I used my powers to make a wall of fire to block the rest of the ebony colored warriors. Cole led us back around the paths and towards the back entrance.

Suddenly the falcon's eyes turned blue and Nya's voice rang through the cavern. "The Bounty's landed on a cliffside just north of the mountain. Hurry, snakes are trying to get up!" Jay groaned. "Nya, we kinda have a different problem to attend to first!" "I can see that Jay! You guys are up on the monitor. Just please get here as quick as you can!"

"Easier said than done" I muttered angrily as I continued to run, ignoring the pain that flared into my ribs. I panted heavily and began to fall behind, now in the back of the group behind Kai. I stopped for a few seconds to catch my breath. The air smelled acrid of death and venomarai venom. Reluctantly I started running again, but a handful of snakes blocked my path.

I turned around and started back towards the catwalk, but Venom's army was turning the corner. Hysterically I tried to weave through the group of snakes, but I was thrown on my back. "You guys! Help me!"

"No ussssse trying boy," a fangpyre warrior spat with disgust, "nobody'ssss coming to help you." His markings were bright red and hurt my eyes, since I was getting used to the darkness. Its fangs glistened with a brilliant white hue. I shut my eyes tightly and tried to calm down, but my breathing sped up quickly.

"Not again" I thought. "Please, not again."

In a desperate move, I rose to my feet and used my powers to quickly subdue the snakes blocking me, but they simply dodged. More serpentine began joining them, and I bit my lip to hold back tears. "I'm stupid. Why on Ninjago did I wanna come here? Skales was right. How am I a good ninja? How will I EVER be a good ninja?"

I turned around to see Venom's army blocking my other exit. "Well don't just stand there!" I shouted in my head. "Do SOMETHING!"

Jumping over the ramp would be suicide. The snakes are blocking the way to the others. That leaves the shadow warriors.

Playing innocent, I hung my head and closed my eyes, making it seem like I was scared and weak. I was scared, but I wouldn't let them know that on purpose.

The same fangpyre chuckled. "Ah, ssso the green ninja isss ssscared. How cute. Tie him up men. I wanna have the credit for capturing the boy, got it!" His followers nodded anxiously.

A scout thundered over with rope and tied it quickly around my wrists. Then he turned around and covered my mouth while asking a friend of his for some duct tape. I bit his hand as hard as I could, feeling the blood run through my teeth. I spit at the floor, in anger and in revulsion.

When he turned away to cuss a little at his injury, I smiled slyly and burned the rope, succeeding with firing a beam of flames at his back.

The first thought that came to mind was run. I subdued the shadows swiftly and sprinted in the opposite direction of the others. "Idiotssss!" The fangpyre screeched. "After him you blithering idiotssss!"

I couldn't help but laugh, even though the situation was so dire. My feet hardly made a sound on the stone floor, and small oil lamps hung on the walls, leaving a dim and uninviting glow in the hallway. Shouts of battle and frustration echoed from below, and the smell only got worse. Venom, death, and…moldy tacos? Guess a snake has to eat something.

Peering behind me as I ran, I saw that fangpyre warrior with a murderous look in his eyes leading his troops down the once-quiet hall. Serpentine of all rankings joined him, and a few shadow warriors brought up the rear.

I didn't even know where I was going, just subconsciously turning down random hallways and corners that looked identical to the last. There weren't any nooks or crannies to hide in; the hallways were designed like tunnels, with no other doors except the one at the end.

My breathing turned struggled and I slowed down. I was pushing myself too hard. My gi was sweaty and sticky, and by hair was sticking to my forehead, making me hotter than I already was.

There was still no sign of anymore snakes or shadow warriors, besides the ones behind me. A bitter taste was left in my mouth from when I bit that fangpyre scout. My ribs jabbed with pain every-so-often, but I refused to complain.

"Can't believe I'm lost in a snake hideout..."

I turned to the right and scanned quickly for a place to rest. My eyes widened as I saw a large boulder, and I scrambled towards it. I curled myself into a ball and quieted my breathing as the snakes closed in, listening intently.

"He'sss not here Sssir Rhadamanthus" a small hypnobrai scout said.

The fangpyre growled. "I realissse that you ditz!"

He turned to his soldiers. "Captain Salmoneus, you and your men report back to Venom. The rest of you back to your quarterssss." Rhadamanthus' men bowed respectively.

"Oh, and Eurus?" The small hypnobrai hopped forward. "Yesss Sssir?"

"I would appreciate it if you didn't embarrassss me on missssions. After all, you work directly for Venom. You know a lot. It would be a sssshame if such a knowledgeable young ssssoldier like yoursself just, how you sssay, losst that knowledge?" Rhadamanthus pulled out a dagger and pointed it at the young snake's throat in the blink of an eye.

"Are we clear?"

Eurus nodded fearfully. "Loud and clear Sssir."

"Good" Rhadamanthus lowered his dagger in pleasure. "Now go. You disssgusst me."

And with that, the blood red fangpyre strode off down the hall.

Eurus scanned the room, looking around absentmindedly. I closed my eyes, relieved that they didn't find me. However, I still gotta wait for this guy to hightail it outta here. My breathing slowed down and I relaxed slightly. I'm still lost, but at least I'm not captured.

Suddenly, I hand rested on my shoulder. I froze, panting and trembling. "I can't get caught again. I just can't."

The hand pulled me to my feet, and there stood Eurus. I let fire encase my arm and I took a ready stance.

"Pleassse," it hissed. "I do not wisssh to fight you."

I rolled my eyes. That goes against all I believe about snakes. "Than what else do you want?"

A voice in front of me called out. "Yeah. What more do you want?" I gasped.

It was Zoe.

She was dressed in black pants and a dark green blouse, perfectly camouflaged. Her curls fell loosely around her shoulders, and her hazel eyes glowed in the dim lighting, like two precious gems.

"What are you doing here?!" I shouted. She smiled. "You seemed to be in need of some assistance Twinkle Toes." In her hand was a grappling hook and strapped to her waist was a dagger. "I'm sick of you guys getting all the fun. Besides," She glanced at Eurus with distaste. "I hate snakes."

"Of all times for my crush to show up, it had to be now. The others on the Bounty are freaking out for sure. I'm dead. Cole's going to flip."

"Assss I was ssaying," Eurus said with hesitation. "I do not wissh to fight you."

Zoe and I held my breath, with Zoe gripping her dagger tightly.

"I wisssh to help you."

A.N: PLOT TWIST! A good snake! Bet you guys didn't see that coming huh? No, Eurus is not gonna hurt Lloyd or Zoe, he's gonna…

Nah, I won't say. XD

But seriously, Eurus is without question, good. So, will they get out and reunite with the other ninja? IS Cole gonna flip when he sees Zoe? And where ARE the others? Find out in the next chapter!

Anybody notice that the snakes' names were all Greek? XD I need a life…

Oh, and drumroll please…news for Silence is Golden. GUEST LISTEN UP! Ok, the poll is closed. And even though good Pythor didn't win,

Pythor will be good.

Yes, you read that correctly. I decided to try and give it a shot, and I've always liked this one fic, Year of the Snake Oneshots, with a good Pythor in it. Besides, only 9 people voted. :P So look forward to that, a new poll will be posted, involving some new story ideas I have. ;)

Have a great night! (or day, or morning…depending)
