Just as Orochimaru had promised, the experimentation had brought about a qualitative change.
The mad scientist had samples of Kaguya and Juubidara along with Toneri to work with, and to understand what was an Otsutsuki.
With the sample at hand, he collected the puzzle pieces around the world to recreate the sample better than the original.
He could have directly transformed Naruto into an Otsutsuki, but that would have still made him inferior in genetics to Kaguya. As such, he worked on the pieces that made the whole. He wanted to make a bloodline greater than the Otsutsuki.
However, no mortal could endure the inhumane procedure except for someone like Naruto. It took them the whole day to finish it even though everyone involved was operating at the speed of lightning to avoid even the minute problems.
This delicate provide required such finesse that even one mishap could cause failure of epic proportions. Plus, it was extremely painful as the person had to be awake to help the researcher do the work while he controlled his inner body from reacting aggressively.
The Otsutsuki bloodline consisted of the Kaguya bloodline that controlled Bones, the Uchiha bloodline with their eyes and chakra, the Hyuga bloodline with their eyes and chakra control and finally Senju bloodline with their chakra and wood affinity.
These were the four parts of the Otsutsuki bloodline inside the normal humans, the rest were the elemental affinities that were present inside the tailed beasts and the final ingredient was the genetics to use Six Paths Energy. This energy was natural to the Otsutsuki clan.
This part was extracted from Toneri. However, Orochimaru didn't know how to use chakra from another to create affinity in another. As such he took DNA of those with the strongest affinities. Though even that wasn't enough, so he took more and added more.
The ultimate bloodline needed foundation in everything that was considered useful and powerful.
He took from the Yuki clan for their ice affinity.
He took from Mei Terumi for her lava affinity.
He took from Gaara for his earth and magnet affinity.
He took from the Raikage for his lightning affinity.
He took from Hinata for her Fire affinity.
He took from for his water affinity.
He took from Temari for her wind affinity.
He added the Inuzuka clan bloodline, the bloodline from the Chinoike clan and finally he used the blood of the Godzilla, the King of monsters that had the ability to absorb radiation.
The creature was strong enough to bulldoze through a mountain even without any chakra. As such, having such genetics as a foundation would give someone with chakra massive advantage.
All these bloodlines were added to Naruto, one by one in a systematic manner to create a new bloodline.
Naruto's own body was already not human. It contained the Uzumaki bloodline, the rinne-sharingan, the six paths chakra and finally the blood of Hades. He was already immortal in a sense and couldn't be killed unless someone dispersed his soul.
His base body without chakra was already strong enough to fight Madara when he was alive. With chakra, he could beat Kaguya alone and that was without Sage mode or any other enhancement.
That was the change brought forth by his training and blood.
Taking such a powerful base, it was as if his dream had coming true and Orochimaru relished in the opportunity to pursue perfection.
He connected all the bloodlines to the base to further enhance it, while the base enhanced the bloodlines in return.
Leaving them in such a form was still good, but the change wouldn't be powerful enough. He needed to make them one, and not just multiple bloodlines in one body as that would be a mess and would collapse someday.
There were multiple mistakes done and Naruto endured while undoing those mistakes with his reality manipulation.
Every attempt to alter reality used a lot of his energy and it brought him closer to death.
However, he didn't stop it and continued to endure as it was absolutely necessary.
It was lucky that he had endured torture at the hand of Hades or he might not have been able to hold back his screams.
"You can stand up now. We are finished." Orochimaru told him when the procedure was finished.
On his hyper focused state, Naruto sat up and analyzed what had happened.
It had been an agonizing operation that was only successful because of Tsunade, Sakura and Shizune helping out with Orochimaru and Kabuto.
The procedure couldn't stop Naruto's chakra production or he would have died once they made a single mistake.
To counter that problem, Naruto had made sure to keep a clone on their side to help whenever there was a problem.
"What do you feel? Does it hurt anywhere?" Sakura asked as she looked at him with the eye jutsu activated, allowing her to see beyond his skin and at the microscopic level.
"I feel incredible." Naruto felt the massive transformation in his body.
His muscular, skeletal, cellular and molecular structure had been transformed to such a state where no one could compare him to a human anymore.
The procedure couldn't have really changed him much since they only things from other humans below Naruto.
However, they managed to do it. The individual parts were weak, especially inside their original hosts. But, once they were added to Naruto and received his chakra then they were truly unleashed.
Furthermore, Orochimaru managed to fully combine the immortal blood with him and make it a part of Naruto.
It had ended up doubling his power and sent his affinities through the roof since he now naturally held all the affinities, which were then further reinforced by his Sage chakra.
Now he had fully become an Otsutsuki or an experimental one as he had now fully inherited the Six Paths mode into his base form.
This didn't mean that the real Six Paths was just energy like the Otsutsuki since there were multiple stages and ranks within the Otsutsuki. Naruto had only now just fully started his journey on the path.
Only now could he start further developing his Six Paths Senjutsu and advance towards the ranks of the most powerful creatures in the Universe.
Now he was free from constantly keeping it as a mode of power, as it was now his natural state.
Though, it also meant that his fusion with Kurama wouldn't bring him much benefit except a little bit more energy and affinity.
Kurama didn't mind as he already had his plans. If Naruto was going to keep on developing his genetics, then he was also going to grow.
The energy from Hades along with the energy from the Juubi and the other Bijuu had become part of Kurama. His body had grown in size and he had decided to absorb more power to keep up with Naruto.
The Juubi could devour the natural energy of the world, and even the souls of the dead. However, Kurama could at least now absorb energy and make it part of him. He just needed to go to another solar system and eat planets without any life. Those planets might not give him enough energy but there should be many planets to eat.
"How is your chakra? Is it flowing naturally?"
The chakra wasn't normal anymore, it had turned to six paths Senjutsu chakra and it was even heavier than before.
"Everything is fine, it flows perfectly. You guys have really amazed me with this result. I didn't think my power would change much at all, but I am at least double of what I started with. With this we should soon have the ability to create other powerful warriors, am I right?" Naruto turned Tsunade to get the answer.
"You aren't wrong, but we should create a lesser version for others and only some people should get this version. The world would become chaotic if we gave too many this much power."
"I understand. I also meant at a later date once things are in order."
"Wait, I don't believe we are in the same page. Naruto, do you intend for everyone to go through this procedure at some point."
"Of course, more warriors means we have a higher chance of survival and once we have learned more then people having this power wouldn't be an issue."
"It will be an issue. Right now, no one can stop you. However, that would change immediately if we gave this to everyone. You could fight one hundred people, but thousands would end up killing you. You would once again restore the world to its previous state with that action." Tsunade and the others were extremely alarmed by his radical decision. They finally had some semblance of peace and it would shatter within weeks if they went through with such a thing.
"That is impossible, and you should know it. Raw power would only take them so far, none of them would have my abilities and none of them would have the blood of immortals to get them to where I stand. Believe in me, I know what I am doing and I know that none shall surpass me from this generation. Only people of the next generation that we will build with our hands will surpass us and pave the way to the final fight."
"Did you see something again?"
"Yes, and it helped me come to the decision to amplify everyone's level to this state. We can't grow and prosper beyond this, if we only have a few people. Furthermore, this is not the end. We need this power in all of us to keep our authority in front of the immortals or we would become fodder soldiers for them.
By reaching the same stage, we can work with them and go further in our mutual development. At the moment, they have given me a seat but I can't do anything if I am the only one among my people to stand with them. Their weakest soldier is strong as Kaguya.
You should understand what I am saying, more than I do."
Tsunade had ignored the Immortals and listening to Naruto mention them again, she finally understood what he was doing.
It also made his willingness for the procedure make sense, as she had thought it was too early. He wanted more people to stand by him that could show the might of humanity.
With followers that could be counted on one hand, humanity's interest wouldn't be kept and the immortals could take decision that would be detrimental to them.
It was the reality of the world that weaker beings were always sacrificed when needed.
And, he was right. She couldn't believe that anyone could really come close to Naruto's power as he was the new Sage of Six Paths. Just because one was a Senju, it didn't mean they were Hashirama Senju.
So, it would be the same here and she would make sure to keep on updating Naruto beyond the rest as that was the only way to keep the new order. Though, she also saw Hashirama in him when he mentioned the new generation.
Naruto had always been a child, but he had really grown up now and he was already looking like an wizened man with his thoughts about kids of the future.
"I understand. But, the only kids leading the future would be your kids. So, don't forget to start working on it." Tsunade agreed with his opinion and decided to make countermeasures from her side before the step was taken.
The procedure only needed some weeks to become operable on normal people and they had Naruto's massive chakra supply to keep on producing such warriors without a problem.
Naruto was taken aback by her words as he had really forgotten about it, and the thought made him feel weird.
He had always been a little bit perverted because of the wrong magazines that came into his possession along with the influence from Hiruzen and Jiraiya, but Naruto had never really thought about children.
The question arose, whom will he have a kid with?
But the real question was if he would ever be a good father?
"I will think about it." Naruto coughed and answered as he slightly glanced at Sakura. She was his first crush and he had finally moved away once Jiraiya had died.
However, seeing her in a weakened state of mind had awakened some of those feelings again. He felt terrible thinking about it, but it seems he was a greedy person.
He started feeling something for Hinata then Ino and now his feelings for Sakura were present again.
It would have been impossible if Sasuke had truly reciprocated her feelings, but he didn't and she was not connected to him. So, it was better for Sakura to move on as he had seen that her mind would wander into the deep end when she was free and alone.
He had always wished to save her, and now she really needed saving from her inner thoughts.
Her core was filled with depression, pure unadulterated darkness that was consuming her soul.
With few words from here and there, Sakura might wish to kill him if her mind decayed enough from the darkness in her heart. And, he didn't wish for a friend to do that again.
