Chapter Ten, Seven
The Plan
"Damn it…what the hell am I going to do…" Izaya grunted scratching his head.
It had been a week since Shinra had given him a hard stressor and Izaya could barely handle it. For a whole week the raven had been bulking down energy drinks while thinking of a way to get Shizu-chan to trust him. However with no luck Izaya was getting restless.
"ARGH!"
Buzz*Buzz*Buzz*
Suddenly as Izaya was about to bang his head on the desk his business phone started to ring.
"Hello…"
"Izaya? You sound tried, something up?"
"It's nothing, what do you want."
"Right, I need your signatures for a countryside cottage. Namie-san's mad at me so I couldn't get your stamp from her."
"Pfft what did you do now? Did you sexually harass her again?"
"No I just shoved the papers for the cottage in her face and she suddenly smacked me with her mug cup."
"Did she have something in her hand?"
"Yeah, I think it was a picture of a guy in high school….AH!"
"You get it now."
"Yeah! God I better asked Seiji to help me… anyway I'll send you the papers by fax tomorrow. Remember they say countryside cottage on it!"
"Yeah, see ya."
"Bye!"
Izaya put down his phone and scrunched up his eyebrows.
Just what I need…another pile of work… He thought.
But then something clicked inside Izaya's head and Izaya jumped out his seat as he thought of a brilliant idea.
"Damn it why didn't I think of this before!" The raven laughed picking up his personal phone and calling a certain doctor.
Skipping scene
"You sure it'll work?"
"I'm sure of it! Shizu-chan'll probably like the idea to get away."
"Hmm guess you're right. I'll call again when I get Shizuo's answer."
"See ya."
"Yeah,"
