In the morning, the team flew to the ancient location of where the Gronckles home was.

The team arrive to the island and discover that the island has been taken over by boulder class dragons called Catastrophic Quaken.

The Quakens force the Gronckles to take over Dragons' Edge.

They return back to base to see the Gronckles destroying their base.

Snotlout decides to train Fishlegs in dirty fighting to get him to dig deep in his love for Gronckles.

Fishlegs ask "are you sure that will work on winning the Gronckle's home back?"

Snotlout comments "if you believe Ruffnut likes you, then yes."

Fishlegs ask "you seem happy. Is there a love interest that we don't know about?"

Snotlout grumbles "no, because it could never happen and I haven't met another girl to crush on."

Three days later, they return to the island of the gronckles and Fishlegs and Meatlug challenge the leader Quakens.

Hiccup comments "I can't believe you would train Fishlegs to fight dirty against the boulder class dragons."

Astrid comments "if Fishlegs win the challenge then Snotlout learned to fight smarter."

Meatlug and Quakens shot fire at each other and throw boulders at each other.

Quakens whine in pain.

Fishlegs flew down and ask "what's wrong with you?"

The quakens warbles at Meatlug to communicate.

Meatlug warbles back and then the Gronckles comfort the Quaken.

Fishlegs comments "I guess the Quakens were just upset that they were alone with no friends or families."

Snotlout thinks about it and sighs in feeling alone.

They return to back to Dragons' Edge to rebuild the base.

At night while eating dinner, Zephyr comments "I didn't think gronckles get that big."

Hiccup ask "don't you remember the Bewilder beast?"

Zephyr answers "no."

Hiccup sighs "you were a baby when you met him."

Snotlout glances at Astrid and Hiccup and grins at them a little before going back to his food.

Astrid caught him glance at her and Hiccup and decides to question him later after everyone goes to bed."

After eating dinner, they talk about facing new dragons.

Fishlegs ask "Hiccup? Do you know who we would be facing far as leaders?"

Hiccup sighs "no. I don't, Fishlegs."

Zephyr yawns sleepy.

Astrid grins "time for bed, daughter."

She and Hiccup leave and tuck Zephyr into bed.

While they were gone, Tuffnut ask "why was you glancing at Astrid and Hiccup, Snotlout?"

Snotlout answers "I just seem to think about having a girl like Astrid and a family to help raise."

Tuffnut laughs "no girl finds us interesting."

Snotlout comments "you don't know that."

Tuffnut comments "yes, I do."

Everyone went to bed except for Astrid.

She walked over to Snotlout's hut and knocked on the door.

Snotlout opens the door to see Astrid standing there and ask "what did you need, Astrid?"

Astrid answers "I saw you look at me and Hiccup together and wonder what was going through your mind?"

Snotlout sighs "I was just thinking about how you and Hiccup are together and maybe want that too."

Astrid comments "Hiccup told me that if want you too that he doesn't mind sharing me as long as he gets to make love to me afterwards. I just don't know if I could handle two men in one night."

Snotlout gape "he said what? Now I think he lost his mind."

Astrid comments "that was my first thought until he told me that I have to drink moon tea afterwards because I only want to carry my husband's baby."

"What's going on here?"

Snotlout and Astrid turn to see Hiccup standing there.

Astrid answers "I was just asking why he was watching us sitting next to each other with Zephyr between us."

Hiccup comments "you two need to be careful because I think Tuffnut is watching us."

He turns around and says "goodnight."

A month later, Hiccup and the riders found dragon hunters and begin a battle to send a message to their leader.

The dragon hunters were left adrift in the ocean.

When the riders returned back to base Tuffnut and Fishlegs question why Astrid would rush in to defend Snotlout when he was down.

Snotlout says "we're friends. We protect each other."

Tuffnut comments "I caught Astrid coming to Snotlout's hut at night to question his new change of attitude towards her and Hiccup. She leaves like ten minutes later."

Snotlout comments "nothing happens."

Tuffnut smirks "that's because something already happen between them and we wouldn't tell anyone."

Snotlout, Astrid got nervous about them knowing.

Hiccup comments "you can't tell any of the adults if we tell you what happen."

Fishlegs ask "is it that bad?"

Astrid comments "my parent's would probably demand that Snotlout pay part of my bride price as well."

Tuffnut laughs "pay up, Fishlegs!"

Fishlegs gasped "how did that come about and when did it happen?"

Astrid answers "the night Hiccup and Zephyr left to rescue dragons and Fragonard was visiting us. I was scared for my daughter and myself. So one night, I ask Hiccup to let me make peace between me and Snotlout. He let me and while he and Zephyr left, I invited Snotlout to the cove.

We talked about why we broke up. Fragonard followed us and interrupted us, so we flew to dragon island and made love. After that, Snotlout told us that we could enjoy our marriage and family without him. But I don't think I could get over having both men in my love life and having a daughter with one."

Fishlegs ask "and Hiccup didn't give any repercussion for that affair?"

Hiccup answers "the repercussion would be that we move to dragon island to live because it would be hard to explain why Astrid gave birth to a child that look a little like Snotlout. I think my mother could accept that Astrid still loves Snotlout but married me because she couldn't stand his ego."

Tuffnut ask "if you two desire that, Why not go to dragon island to live?"

Hiccup sighs "because I don't think my father or Magnus and Brynhild would accept that Astrid loves to men until I make Chief. Then we can do anything we want."

Fishlegs comments "we don't mind if you love both Snotlout and Hiccup, Astrid. I didn't think you would fall for another man or that Hiccup accept it. Why didn't you divorce her, Hiccup?"

Hiccup answers "it would hurt our daughter to see her parents breakup and she's too young to understand right night maybe by four she would know what's going on with her parents love life."

Snotlout ask "are you sure you don't mind that me and Hiccup share Astrid?"

Tuffnut shakes his head "not at all."

A terrible terror landed on Hiccup.

Hiccup unrolls the letter and says "guys, it seems that our message to Drago Bludvist got through and he has my mother at dragon sanctuary."

Astrid gasped "lets go rescue her!"

They mount up and fly to dragon sanctuary.

Zephyr was flown to Berk for safety.
