Day 28

Luigi, Bandana Dee, Kano, and Li Mei

After the taste of defeat, the former blue team gets the taste of something else: papaya. Li Mei and Kano took the time to find it, even if their personalities are completely different. All they really did was stay quiet, so it didn't make the edit.

This did for a reason.

As the four losers munch down on sliced papaya, Kano opens the first conversation, and does it..quite bluntly. "Five of them have some time away from us. Strategy always comes up on those rewards." he says, and they know what he's getting at. "Knowing who's over there, they're conspiring against each other more than we are." Li Mei suggests.

"They could still be talking about us. Like we're pawns in their game."

"We're always looped in. I don't see how any of us are pawns.." the waddle dee says, but Kano shakes his head. "You're too innocent."

"I'm not innocent, you're just paranoid."

Even the waddle dee's speaking out against him. Kano's not good in the friend business, but does he really care STILL?

Kano: I know how they feel about me. They'll turn their guns on me eventually because who wants to give Kano money?

Facts.

Kano: So instead of going out on my back, i'm going to start a fire. Easy job cause I don't care about how these people feel.

About half an hour later, Li Mei loops more people in on targeting the clan again. She goes to Bandana Dee and Luigi Mario, leaving Kano out.

"They are going to slide by if Fatu versus Roku continues. Letting one slide by isn't severe, but letting two who work well together is." Li Mei reminds them. "Then the three of us will have to pay for not targeting them."

"That's true.." the Waddle dee ponders.

"I will state again, we don't have to exterminate both of them. I would prefer it, but if we leave one in the game alone, then they won't be a threat." It could be a good read from Li Mei, depending on who stays between the two.

"It's best Kano doesn't get second place money, or else he would get rewarded for all he's said." Luigi adds on, trying to cut Kano from the runner-up spot.

"Yeah but Kabal could still win. He's at least better at making friends..even if we can't see it." Some shade from Bandana Dee, but Kabal's not an Angel either.

"Before we divide ourselves, we'll need to see if the heads can come together again. Kano and Kabal were the targets until they got protection. I have high hopes that we can take another one out, and then the war will wage on." Li Mei says, summing up their next step.

"You're still with us. Right?" Luigi asks.

"Of course."

Bandana Dee: So this is what he meant by leaving the nest..people aren't going to JUST him now. It's going to be a change from "FaThree strong" but if me, or Luigi wants to win, we have to go with it.

Red Team's Sanctuary Reward

Day 28

Matt, Sonic, Kabal, Gordon, and Blu

Tacos, Mexican, champagne, margaritas..a paradise for people who haven't eaten good in quite some time.

Sonic rushes to the server, wasting NO time. "30 Chili Dogs, please!" THIRTY? He's in for a tough time later! But does he even care?

Sonic: What? It's on the menu and I WASN'T going to try it out?

"Hmm.." The Mii says, looking over the menu. "There's a lot I could try. Gordon, you're the expert, what do you thi—" Gordon's not there. "Oh."

Blu's looking in wonder at the menu ahead, as Kabal's ahead of her speaking to the server next. "Can I get the large stack of pancakes?" The server nods, and the Yoshi just has her eyes on the tubes around his body.

"How are you going to…?"

"Vaping."

We're not talking flavored air.

Later on the reward, after some waiting time, people got their meals. Kabal got his pancakes to vaporize, Blu got her large plate of melons, and Gordon's still nowhere to be seen. He can definitely be HEARD though.

"The pizza tastes like CARDBOARD! If this show tried selling them for profit, get ready to lose customers!" The chef exclaims.

Sonic and Matt share a table. Matt's chewing on his medium-rare steak, while Sonic's wolfing down his Chili Dogs! The Mii sees him mowing them down, and has a simple question. "You're a big fan of those, huh?"

"A SUPERFAN."

The hedgehog grabs one from his plate and puts it on Matt's! The Mii decides to take it, and takes a bite. After swallowing, he gives another food review. "These are better than the last ones I had. More of a Brots guy though."

"Brots? Aren't those just giant sausages?"

"They ARE big I'll tell you that!"

Sonic: I know game-time's coming back, but getting another reward makes me a "Glass Half Full type-a guy!

After finishing his steak, Matt excuses himself and leaves. That leaves Sonic alone in his thoughts. Between how good the reward is, surviving a tense Tribal, and still being in a solid spot, the hedgehog's been having a great time since he hit Fiji.

His alone times halted when the chef takes a seat next to him, a beef Wellington on his plate. "How do those dogs taste?" The Hedgehog responds with a smile. "Best I've ever had!"

"It was my pleasure."

"YOU made these?"

"I got involved."

"Man…you need to get involved more! These are spectacular!"

They were indeed. However, food wasn't the only reason Gordon talked to him. "So if we can get serious for a minute: I'm willing to fold my cards, if we can cut down a dangerous couple." We all know who he's referring to.

"If Kano didn't stay up all night, we would have had them already."

"It would have been easier than having both open. We couldn't get on the right foot last time, so if we could this time, we're set." The chef points out. "I know we don't have a good history but we'll both be better off next time cutting one off." Even though they aided Roku last night, it seems the Black Dragon are STILL viable targets.

Sonic and Gordon still faced off last time, but that was due to protection as we know. The hedgehog knows it too. "We're the two people everyone's gonna be looking at. Those two would just throw us under the bus anyway." Honest, but true.

"Ditto! Besides, i like our little competition here.."

"Little?"

"Yeah, you know: Sonic the Hedgehog versus Chef Ramsay! The radical versus dramatical!"

"…."

"I'm joking dude!"

Sonic: There's nothing like good fun to bring people together!

The chef fakes a snicker. "Well good to know nobody's taking us out, except for us."

"At least we're honest about it!"

Gordon: He showed me he's not taking this seriously. I know we're going for each other, you don't need to joke about it!

Sonic: "Fun" doesn't seem like a Gordon thing. I had to do SOMETHING…

Gordon: I don't hate "fun"…i don't feel like joking with my biggest enemy.

Elsewhere, Blu's chowing down on her melons, and has her eyes on Kabal's plate, which looks like ash. "You sure know how to destroy your food."

"Solid compared to the Yacht reward. The pancakes are easier to vaporize."

"How about the quality?"

"Its all the same to me."

Blu: As time goes on, I'm not really mad at Kabal. Kano's my big one! And if we have to vote out one of them, the other deserves a second chance. Unless Kano stays. That won't go well.

Kabal seems to think the same.

"Before we begin, I must ask..is there any way we could work together?"

.

.

"You know.." The Yoshi begins. "..we can talk game. If you want."

"The only reason we've never talked game is because everyone saw Kano and anyone he's associated with as threats. I never thought you would let us go free." Kabal admits, partially throwing Kano under. Then again, there's a chance the cast boots him.

"There was three of you, and everyone wanted to take out the threats. We thought Tremor was one of them." Blu reveals. "And..Kano's another. I can at least talk with you!"

"Not to sound like a Prince, but I do tend to get along better with the others on this island. Kano is the type of guy who says and does whatever he wants. He doesn't exactly care for peoples feelings, and HE will tell you that…even though his acts impacted mine and Tremor's games." Kabal says, and Blu accepts the answer because well…he knows Kano the best after all.

"Well once he's gone, you should feel a lot more comfortable. It shouldn't kill anyone to talk to you!" Blu says, seeming to forgive him. "PROMISE you won't laugh at anyone leaving?"

"I promise."

That puts a smile on her face. "Here's to the new you!"

Kabal: Being the tamest dragon in the clan is working out well for me. As much as Kano has aided me, and been aided BY me, our time together is on a limited runtime. It's better for me to look at options incase they decide to come for us again, and leave me behind.

Later in the reward, the Yoshi literally PULLS Sonic aside, to let him know about her talk with the kombatant. The hedgehog..is confused.

"All of a sudden he's a good guy now? I'm all for redemption, but he went with Kano and scared everyone with rocks." Sonic says, apprehensive about trusting anyone in the clan.

"Well, he's not bad like Kano is!" That bias is setting in again.

"Kano's not a good guy, but there's still a jury. Kano can't win."

"I don't want him getting ANY money."

"Huh.." Sonic pauses for a moment, before taking a finger to his chin. "Well if we want to keep Kabal around, he'll need to be cut early."

"Thanks for at least listening..I know you guys come up with the plans but I just wanted a voice here."

"Hey, we don't want to silence anyone! That's not a cool way to play."

Sonic: Me and Gordon are..KIND OF partners again. Great! We are..MAYBE going for the Black Dragon. Good! Blu wants to keep Kabal.

…

Sonic: THAT'S no good! He's like a tubed up threat to the world! He's got speed, power, and persuasion. He even knew what to do when people tried blindsiding him! I love competing against him, its a thrill, and I'll do it ANY time…except for the end.

Alright, let's unpack this. Kano and Kabal seem to be the targets again. This twosome won't escape until there's a single one left. Sonic still wants to vote out Kabal, Gordon still wants to keep him, and the Li Mei/Dee/ Luigi group want more information.

As for the Black Dragon themselves, Kano guessed that they'd turn their guns on him again, and…he's right. But his social game doesn't help, because in order to have a social game, people have to like you, and Kano does not care.

Next chapter features the immunity challenge, scrambling, and another person getting sent to the jury! Ticket out, have a good one.
