Recap: Blade closed the door just as the last of the light disappeared into darkness.

Aurora POV

For a moment was everything dark in the container. Hope found it slightly unnerving and searched around for a torch or something else that gave off light.

A light suddenly sprang on that shone right in her eye making her blink a few times to get the spots out of her sight. She lifted her arm up to shield herself from the light. "Hey! Watch where you're aiming that light. I don't feel like becoming permanently blind." I hear Hope say, annoyed before the light finally left her eyes while someone muttered a soft apology.

We heard someone clicking a lighter and thought back to the movie. 'Paris.' Hope, Orion, and I thought and then looked further around.

Standing up straight, Hope limped carefully around. Suddenly she tripped over something. With a gasp she fell forwards. On instinct she brought out her hands to break her fall. But instead of her hands landing on the ground they landed on a pair of legs. One by the knee and the other way higher than she wanted.

Actually, after daring a soft squeeze and getting a deep growl in return, she knew her hand landed too close to something… manly. She started praying, 'Please, oh please, let that be a creature. Anything other than what I think it is. Please god!' Hope thought silently. I stifled a laugh.

The light shone her way again and she dared to look up to see who she touched. Peter. Looking back in front of her, she found her face near his crotch. Her cheeks lit up like a flame, she could have died right there if the gods had let her.

But seeing that she was still alive, which meant they had ignored her. She fought her blush back and calmly cleared her throat and awkwardly came to her feet again.

She couldn't look Peter in the eye. The mere thought of where she had almost touched was enough to make her face show a new color red. Again.

She turned around and limped over to where she thought she had seen Jack sitting when the light flashed by. Once she had found him, she sat down on the ground next to him. Her mind was a bit in a jumble.

She felt so many things at the same time right now. She felt conflicted with it all. Lust for Riddick, Peter, and Blade, sadness for the death of Shazza. Confusion was the leading feeling right now, after all, she still hadn't figured out how she got here.

Fear was also coursing through her. Because unlike the others, she knew exactly what they were dealing with. She knew their weaknesses, or rather, weakness, that the creatures were sensitive to light. She mused on what else she knew of them.

Our attention was pulled towards Jack who suddenly mumbled something about staying down. Hope knew what she was talking about and felt a pang of sadness rush through her.

If only she hadn't been wounded, then she might have been able to rescue Shazza. Instead, she had had her nose in Blade's neck while they waited for the creatures to leave. She shivered, thinking how much she had liked having it there.

I sighed deeply and thought back to the movie. 'What else happened in the movie?' I wondered mentally, before I was pulled out of my thoughts by Johns' voice.

"You remember the bone yard? These just might be the animals that killed every living thing on the planet." commented the man, in a drawl. Hope and I rolled our eyes and I couldn't stop the reply that flew past my lips.

"Really Johns? We had no idea what with them being everywhere. I thought it was the fairies who killed them," I said sarcastically.

Jack would've laughed at the comment if he wasn't so sad about Shazza's death just now.

Johns pointed his flashlight at my face, half blinding me. "Don't act so smartass. I'm just saying what everyone's thinking," he retorted, annoyed.

I opened my mouth to retort when Jack interrupted me. "What are we gonna do now?" he asked, still feeling down over the death of Shazza. Suleiman said something in Arabic, but nobody understood him except for his brother and Imam.

"I-is this all the light? I-is this everything?" stammered Paris anxiously, while he held his lighter high up.

"No, there is a cutting torch somewhere on the floor. I just can't find it." replied Owens while he felt around on the ground for it.

Imam now also had a flashlight and turned it on while aiming it down the hall.

Hope looked at the ground in front of her feet and saw the cutting torch laying there. "Owens, the cutting torch is here," she called to the man, while shifting her position so she sat on her knees and grabbed it.

She turned towards where Owens was, just when the man arrived at her spot.

"Good. Can I have it?" he asked and held out his hand. Hope gave it to him and then struggled to get up, while ignoring the quick thank you that came from the pilot.

'Standing up is much harder than sitting down.' she thought a bit tiredly while her good leg shook trying to hold her weight.

Suddenly everyone heard squealing and howling right outside of the hold making everyone quiet down. Hope thought back to the movie again and remembered what came next. 'If I'm correct then the next part of the movie should be the part where Paris tries to run and then where Johns says something about pissing glass.' she mused and glanced over at Paris.

"Why do they do that? Make that sound?" asked Jack, who had also stood up and was listening at the door.

Hope wanted desperately to answer that question but refrained herself. They thought she knew nothing at all about the creatures except for what happened at the hole where Chris died. No matter how badly we wanted to help the others, we couldn't risk telling them anything out of fear of running our mouths.

"Perhaps, it's the way they see. With sound reflecting back…" said Imam before he was interrupted by a sharp metallic noise. Everyone jumped in surprise and turned their gazes towards the end of the hall.

Even Hope had been surprised by the sound, almost stumbling back on her ass again out of shock. She softly cursed at the sudden noise, even though she had been expecting it. A rattling sound followed, and Jack walked closer to where Blade and Riddick stood.

Swallowing nervously, Hope turned the other way and limped towards where she knew was the doorway to the second room. "Could be a breach in the hull. I don't know," mumbled Owens softly as he also walked closer to where the sound came from.

"Come on, Johns. You got the big gauge," came Riddick's mocking comment, which would've made Hope smile if the fear for those bioraptors didn't just grow bigger with each noise they made.

"I'd rather piss glass. Why don't you go check?" came the slow drawling answer of Johns. Hope hated to think this, but she agreed with him. If they had asked her that question, she would've told them the same answer.

The squealing noises became louder and the sounds brought a shiver down Hope's and my spine. Her mind flew back to the hole where Chris died and she shifted slightly in place out of reflex. The mere sound those things made was enough to almost make her run the other way.

"I'm not staying here any longer." said Paris suddenly, while he turned around and went for the door. Immediately chaos erupted around her.

"Hey! Where're you goin?" demanded Johns while he turned around along with Owens and Jack.

"Hey! Hey!" cried Johns while he and Owens went after Paris, only for her to bump into Luna.

"Pa-…!" started Owens but grunted in pain when he bumped into her, and the duo fell to the ground in a heap of arms and legs. Owens' foot accidentally kicked Hope's wounded leg and she hissed, when pain shot through her leg and up her spine.

"Shit!" she hissed. "Sorry," mumbled Owens while he tried to get untangled from her.

"Sit him down!" ordered Johns when Imam managed to block Paris' way at the door. He held a crowbar horizontally in front of him and used it to force Paris to the ground.

Meanwhile Owens managed to free himself from Hope and stormed over to him.

"You don't know what's out there!" demanded Owens angrily, while grabbing him by the crook of his shirt. "I know what's in here!" retorted the man, while he shakily righted his glasses.

Imam took this moment to turn to the doorway next to him and after a bit of struggling, managed to break it open with his crowbar.

Hope moaned softly in pain as stabs of pain kept shooting through her wounded leg as it began to stitch itself together. Right now, she really wished she had a painkiller with her.

Jack walked over to her and squatted down in front of her. "You okay, Hope?" asked the boy. Hope gave him a strained smile and nodded.

"Yeah… fine," she grunted while digging her nails in her knee in hopes of lessening the pain a bit.

Jack saw that she was lying but said nothing and just stood up while holding his hand out. Hope took a deep breath and took his hand. A moment later she stood back up and smiled at the boy. "Thanks." she whispered, breathing a bit heavily from the pain.

Imam said something in Arabic while motioning to the door. "Hurry! Hurry!" he ordered, and his sons piled inside, followed by a limping Hope and then the rest.

Once the last one was inside Imam went inside and locked the door back closed again. He then sighed in relief, turned his back to the door and slid down against it.

"Now we're trapped in a much smaller space. I hate this!" whined Paris which everyone promptly ignored.

Hope looked concerned at Imam and leaned down towards him. "You okay Imam?" she asked softly and got a short nod in return. She was not entirely convinced and opened her mouth to ask again.

All of a sudden, a spike shot through the door right next to Imam's head. It stopped inches from Hope's face, making her cry out in surprise and stumble back, forgetting for a second her wounds. She was instantly reminded when her leg gave way and she fell back against Owens who yelped in surprise and fell on top of the box in front of Hope.

Hope landed next to Johns' feet and panted at the sudden surprise and shock. Everyone stumbled around to get away from the door while Imam sat down next to Jack, also gasping in surprise.

Hope tried to get up, but Johns stood on her hair making her yelp in pain when her head roughly fell back on the ground again from the jolt.

Johns took out his gun, aimed at the door and shot at it.

At the same time, Riddick came up to Paris and used the flame of his lighter to turn on the torch in his hands.

"Johns! Get off of my hair before I gut you!" cried Hope loudly, making him stop firing and glance down at her.

She was trying to pull her hair out from under his shoe but had little success.

"Sorry," he mumbled, pulling his foot away, before turning his gaze back to the door again and held his gun ready.

Riddick took this moment to turn to the wall opposite of the door and started burning a hole.

"Stupid asshole… should watch where you plant those giant feet of yours." grumbled the woman while glaring at him.

She glanced to her other side and saw me sitting on a box I had fallen on top of.

"Hey, Rory?" she called softly and I turned my gaze down to her. Hope held out her hand. "Might give me a hand?" she asked softly with a slightly hopeful look.

I nodded and stood up, while grabbing her hand. With a short grunt I pulled her up to her feet.

I tried to move to give her more space but accidentally stepped on Jack's foot. "Ow!" I hear Jackie say.

"Sorry," came the reply while I stumbled over her feet and managed to get to the outer left side, standing next to Imam.

Just then Riddick had finished burning and stomped the wall where he had burned.

It fell away in the form of a big hole. He ducked into the other room and moved some of the boxes there to get some more room. Blade and Peter followed next along with the others.

Hope leaned half on the box where I had sat and waited until most of the group had gone through the hole. "Take my hand, my child," said Imam suddenly, making her jump in surprise and look up at him before down at his hand as if it had grown a tentacle as he was an unmarried man right now, that she knew of and she had three male mates.

For a second, she stared longer at his hand, before mentally shaking her head and took it gratefully. "Thanks," she murmured, and Imam then placed her hand in his other while his now free hand went around her shoulders.

Jack looked at them through the hole before ducking away when they got to the hole. Imam let Hope go first and held her hand to give her some support. Jack glanced at the hole and saw Hope ducking through and quickly came over to her to help her.

"Thanks Jack." she murmured, while immediately wrapping an arm around the boy's shoulders for better support.

Imam came in at last, and Paris and Johns at once grabbed several boxes and whatnot and stacked them in front of the entrance.
