Chapter four: Recovery

Ozai was sitting with Ty lee waiting for her to wake up, when he heard the first crash.
'Well she will be up here soon. It's not too late to jump out the window.' Ozai thinks scared as he hears the second crash. In a panic he starts to try to open the window.
Outside the Ty lee's room
"Were is the Fire Lord, Gentlemen?" Ursa polity asks the soldiers guarding the floor.
All ten guards, all of them at least six feet tall, point to the door Ozai is in. Ursa's five foot, four-inch frame was extremely intimidating, especially since she is surrounded by blue fire at the moment. All ten soldiers were extremely loyal to the Fire Lord, but all of them knew not to fuck with an angry woman, especially if they are a bender. And considering the fact that Ursa was tied with Ozai and Iroh as the most powerful firebender in the world well, one of the guards opened the door for her with a polite bow.
"Ozai get your ass away from that window or you will be going through it. Thank you, young man for opening the door for me, please shut it now. Should something happen with the patient I will make sure to get help. Please ignore any screams coming from this room. I promise not to kill my husband." Ursa tells Ozai who was about ready to go throw the window any way and the guards with a deadly calm edge to her voice.
The guard just shot the door.
"I am glad that it is not me she is angry at. Tell you what, when are shift is over, the drinks are on me." The caption of Ozai's royal guard says glad he did not piss himself.
Inside Ty lees room…
"Now Ozai sit in the chair like a good boy." Ursa tells Ozai after moving one of the chairs to the center of the room. She then unties the belt holding her robe shut.
She drops the top of her robe before removing her pants showing she is wearing her interrogation uniform. The uniform consisted of a shiny leather corset and leather thong dominatrix suit, with thigh high boots and stiletto heels. She pulls out a pair of long form fitting leather gloves from the bag she brought with her and carefully puts them on one at a time. Next she removes a leather choker with a gold skull charm attached to it and puts it on. Finally, Ursa pulls out a dark gold alloy four-point crown with a gold skull raised on it and replaces her current crown with it. To complete her look, she congers up a blue flame whip. Ursa's boots, corset, thong, and choker were black with a dark gold lining that matched her crown.
"Now Ozai, you will tell me who hurt are daughter and you will let me get the truth out of her, got it. If you do this you will get a nice reword, if you do not tell me well you do know my recorded dear." Ursa tells Ozai in a commanding voice as she places her hand on her husband's cheek, her firebending heating up her hand to the point that the seemingly affectionate jester was a bit painful. Before Ursa's exile she was the best interrogator in the fire nation for a reason.
"We do not know her name but you can get it out of her, along with the other women who helped with the attempt to kidnap are family and Azula's friends. And that new top-knot piece is nice I think Azula will want one too. It also looks nice on you dear." Ozai says without hesitation and a lot of fear in his voice.
Ozai loved his wife with his most of his heart but she still scared the shit out of him when she was angry. Most people thought Azula got her sadistic streak from him, but in reality she got it from Ursa. Well Ursa is normally a very caring woman she was also one of the scariest woman in the Fire Nation. Like Azula she did enjoy inflicting pain on people but she never went overboard and only used her talents in inflicting pain when it was needed. Like her daughter Ursa rarely got aroused when she used her talents, unlike Suki who was a full blown sexually sadistic psychopath.
"Good boy Ozai. Now tell me why is Ty lee laying in a hospital room? And tell me the conditions are daughter and son are in, along with Mai." Ursa says as she sits her husband's lap, her anger temporarily leaving her. Ursa lays her had on Ozai's chest and wraps her arms around him. Ozai wraps her arms around Ursa's waist as well.
"I missed holding you my love. Mai and Zuko only suffered a minor concussion, but we will have to talk to them later." Ozai says.
"Why do we have to talk to them?" Ursa asks Ozai.
"Well it seems that when the shock of the attempted kidnapping wore off the two…" Ozai stops talking to look for the right words, his cheeks going red.
"Well I will just say it bluntly the two have been fucking like rabbits since at least noon. Unfortunately, I know this because I heard Mai's screaming from next door." Ozai says.
"Well at least you did not walk in on Azula going at it with a boy. Now tell me about Ty Lee." Ursa says after giving Ozai a kiss on the cheek.
"Well the Water Tribe boy is named Sokka, after freeing my brother he hit Ty lee in the liver with a club and Azula healed her with her blue flame. She is getting good at it. Don't worry that is not the cause of her current condition, she suffered an acute appendicitis. It was caused by the shirshu spit dart she was hit with. The dart hit her in the stomach and partly pierced her appendixes. Luckily I caught it before she got too bad. She just needs a short regiment of antibiotics to make sure she does not become septic. I'm just waiting for her to wake up before I go to look in on Azula and Sokka." Ozai stops when he sees the look in Ursa's eyes.
"They are together because the boy is a nonbender with a chi level, as ridiculous as it sounds at level twelve and I have the test results in my office to prove it, along with his medical report. You can look at it before we go check on them if you want. I have a feeling they will be awake already since they both have high healing factors, despite the anesthesia. The boy is a member of the Avatars group and he should have helped the assailant's, but instead Sokka stopped them." Ozai nervously tells Ursa.
"But when he watched the girl that intelligent reports say he had a relationship with torture are Little Bitty, he broke the welds on the medical bed he was chained to and stopped Azula's torturer. He could have let the other woman take are kids but he instead proceeded to subdue the kidnapers. In the proses he sustained a deep laceration across his back, his right eye received a second laceration, he lost his left arm, was stabbed with a Kyoshi steel battle fan in the abdomen, and suffered massive blood loss. He was saved by are daughter and myself." Ozai says before taking a breath.
"He managed to stay conscious long enough to inform me that he has high chi levels and Azula was poisoned by dragon's death. He saved not only Azula's life but the freedom of Zuko, Ty lee and Mai. I did give him a transfusion of my own blood to help him survive but that is not enough, I decided to pay his medical bills, but still that is not enough. So I decided I will give him ten favors payable by any Fire Lord, until the debt has been repaid even if it is to his future family." Ozai says.
"We would of lost are both are babies if he did not interfere." Ozai says before finally breaking down in his wife's arms.
Ursa was the only person besides Ozai's mother to ever see him cry.
"Well don't worry I'll make the girl hurt for what she did and besides the favors, give the boy a job." Ursa says after Ozai calms down.
"Ursa I'm glad to see you again. Azula has the same outfit you're wearing but with a silver outline, I think Mai and Azula would like a hairpiece and choker like yours. Are you going to get back with Lord Ozai?" An energetic voice comes from the bed. Ty lee was up and goofier then normal thanks to the drugs in her system.
"Hello Ty lee, you have gotten taller since the last time I saw you. You look great to, despite your current condition. I will have to talk to Azula about having an outfit like mine with her later, dear. I think I might go back to the Motherland with you guys. I have missed my Phoenixes arms around me at night, along with his third leg. Let Ozai check you out, then I'll heal your wound enough to let you sit in a wheel chair so you can see Azula with us. But you will have to rest in bed for a few more days before you can go back to walking on your hands again Ty lee." Ursa tells Ty lee who blushes at the mention of Ozai's third leg.
"I would like that mam." Ty lee tells Ursa.
"Good and you can call me Ursa if you want Ty lee." Ursa says.
"Ok Lady Ursa." Ty lee says.
"Good enough dear. Ozai get to examining Ty Lee's incision." Ursa says with a smile.
"Well Ty lee with Ursa healing you, you will be able to come with us. You will need to take an oral antibiotic twice a day for the next two weeks to make sure you don't get sick. Don't worry I'll order the sweet tasting ones since I know you hate the taste normally. But you will have to follow the instructions and take them all. Just not all at once like last time you were sick or your stomach will be pumped again." Ozai says as he finished Ty lees checkup.
"Ursa you're up my Angel. I will go get a wheel chair." Ozai says as he steps out of the way.
Ozai then opens the door and leaves the room.
Outside Ty Lee's hospital room…
Ozai takes a deep breath before he falls on his ass. After a few moments he stands up and dusts himself off.
"So did you guards wet yourselves?" Ozai asks forgoing any form of decorum and dignity.
"No my lord we did not nor did we vacate are bowels either Sir." Ozai's royal Guard Captain says.
"One of you go get a wheel chair and make sure it does not squeak. One of you go get a good tea pot, water, and seven cups with all the additives as well. I need to get some stuff from my temporary office." Ozai says as he goes into his office.
He grabs Sokka and Azula's medical files and several gold ingots. He also grabs some of his personal blend of tea before he steps back outside.
"Good I'm glad to see you got everything for me so quickly. Now these are for you guys it's a bonus for not losing control of your body functions. Most men would lose control of their bodily functions when facing my wife when she is angry." Ozai says as he gives a gold ingot to each soldiers in the hallway.
"And uses these four ingots for the drinks you no doubt are going to get; you guys get only the top shelf stuff tonight after shift rotation. You guys have tomorrow off, and have a drink for me as well. Now I have patients to look after." Ozai says as he before he knocks on the door.
"Are you done dear?" Ozai asks from behind the door, not wanting to walk in on Ty lee with her gown off or something like that.
"Yes dear come on in." Ursa says from the door. With that Ozai opens the door and pushes the wheelchair in with the tea set he asked for sitting on the chair.
"Let's get going girls, would you please carry the tea set Ursa?" Ozai asks glad his wife has calmed down.
"Let me help Ty Lee get into the wheelchair first dear." Ursa says as she picks up the tea set and sets it on the bed. She then helps Ty Lee sit in the wheelchair and spreads a blanket she got from the cupboard over Ty Lee's lap.
"Let's go see my baby girl first, Ozai push Ty lee." Ursa says as she picks up the tray with the tea set up from the bed.
Ozai does not argue with his wife as he starts pushing the young girl out the door. The group walks to the room two doors down stopping at the first door that contained Mai and Zuko. Ozai knocked very loudly on the door.
"Get dressed you two, we are having tea in a moment, so meet me in your sister's room." Ozai yells through the door. The three then continue on their way to Sokka and Azula's room. Ozai then gently knocks on the door to his daughter's room and waits a few moments for an answer. When he does not hear anything he knocks again a bit louder and when no answer comes he opens the door.
Expecting the worse Ozai and his companions are shocked to find the two teens sound asleep. Sokka held Azula in a protective embrace as she drooled on Sokka's bandaged chest, lightly snoring as she slept. Ursa noticed that the teens had thrown off the blanket well they were shuffling around to get comfortable. As Sokka is only wearing a pair of sleeping pants and bandages to allow Azula receive the chi Sokka is radiating, Ursa felt the two were cold despite them sharing their body heat. She quietly walks into the room her heals not making a sound. She bends over and picked up the fallen blanked from the floor. With a flick of her wrists born from years of practice the mother covers the pair in the bed, as she did she noticed that the boy's left arm has been completely replaced with a cybernetic prosthetic. Making a note of it Ursa tucks the blanket under the boy. Ursa then kissed Azula gently on her forehead and then leaves the room.
"Azula and the boy are out like a light and given Azula's insomnia I feel she should be left to sleep till she wakes up. We need to go lecture Mai and Zuko now but we will have to keep it down so we don't disturb the two sleeping next door." Ursa says with a smile as she quietly shuts the door to Azula's room behind her.
