20. Personal Note

Hi everyone.

I figured I should explain why my most recent update was nearly a year after anything before.

It's a really long story, and not one I usually share. But long story short, someone very close to me fell very ill and unfortunately passed away in October. My life has changed so much in the past year, and I'm a very different person than I was even a few months ago.

Today I was cleaning up some files on my computer and found a half finished chapter for this story. I re-read it and remembered why I loved writing this story so much. It was an escape for me, a time when I didn't have to think about hospital visits and prognoses.

I can't guarantee this will be updated often, but I'll do my best to keep the story going. I figured you all deserved some sort of an explanation as to my disappearance.
