Dear Pippi,

It looks like I'm going single. I guess it was too much to ask that he should ask me. I wonder why I even thought he would, I guess it was just meandering. Draco asked Gretchen to go. I guess the cocky brat can think of enough ways to ask a girl unlike Niko.

The dance is to night, asked Gretchen if she wanted to go. She said yes! Hermione seems a bit down, she wasn't fooling around as much as normal and she seemed dull at dinner. I wonder why.
