"So," Kimberly began as Sam sped down the dark and lonesome road. "You and my sister…"

"Yeah," Sam breathed out with a sheepish grin. "We didn't mean to go AWOL on you guys at a time like this." Kimberly waved him off.

"No, no. I get it. Nothing like the upcoming apocalypse to get your motors running." She said causing them both to chuckle.

"Yeah, I guess."

"So, does this mean everything is fixed between you two? Are you guys getting back together?" Sam ran a hand through his chestnut hair.

"Well, we didn't actually have a chance to talk about it, but, yeah. I'd say things are looking up. She's forgiven me."

"Congratulations then. But I have to say this; I don't ever want to see her the way she's been since you two split. You messed up, and I'm glad she's giving you a second chance, but, fuck up again and I'm going to have to kill you." Kimberly said seriously.

"I wasn't planning on it." Sam said with a chuckle.

"No, I mean it, Sam. You don't get it. You think you got off lucky because she wasn't partying every night and bedding every hot guy who glanced in her direction. You're wrong. As bad as that would have been, it would have been better than this; better than her moving out and secluding herself, leaving her alone with her depression to keep her company. You haven't really seen her in her dark days, Sam, and trust me, you do not want to. I will not allow you to drive her back into that place where she let's absolutely no one near her heart. So, I ask you this and expect a serious answer. Can I trust you with her heart this time?" Sam kept looking back and forth between the road and Kimberly. He could see that she meant every word. He decided to pull over to give her his full attention.

"Cheating on Sharnel was the second biggest mistake I have ever made. It's a close second to lying to her about it afterward. I may not have been around for Sharnel's really dark days but I saw her face when everything was finally out in the open. I could see her heart breaking through her eyes and the effect that had on me was staggering. I will die before I ever cause her or allow anyone else to make her feel that way again." Kimberly looked searchingly into Sam's eyes for a minute.

"Good." She finally spoke. 'Then, in that case, let's go get your idiot brother."

"And your idiot boyfriend." Sam added. Kimberly glared at Sam from the corner of her eyes, which caused Sam to shake his head and sigh. "Even though he drives you up a wall, you still want him. Otherwise, why would you be here right now? Let's face the facts. As irritating and infuriating as we Winchester men are to your coven, you witches are doomed to fall madly in love with us." Kimberly couldn't help but chuckle.

"Don't get cocky. Us Charmed witches are known for our stubbornness."

"Don't I know it?" Sam agreed before pulling out into the road again.

Dean walked up to a bar that was literally called 'bar', where there was a man preaching the lord's gospel in front of it.

"The apocalypse is upon us." The man spoke knowingly to the many passersby. "The angels talk to me and they ask me to talk to you. The apocalypse-"

"Hey." Dean called to him. "I'm Dean Winchester. Do you know who I am?"

"Dear God." The man gasped. Dean raised his brows.

"I'll take that as a yes. Listen, I need you to bring your angel buddies and let them know that I'm here." The man quickly got down on his knees and began to pray.

"Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name-"

"You pray too loud." The believer was interrupted by Castiel, who then placed a hand on the man's head and knocked him out cold. Before Dean could react, Castiel dragged him into the nearby alleyway and slammed him into the wall.

"What are you, crazy?" Dean grunted.

"I rebelled for this!?" Castiel shouted as he threw Dean into a trash can. He quickly helped Dean upright, only to hit him with a right hook and then another. "So that you can surrender to them?" the angel all but growled. Castiel then threw Dean into the opposite wall and uppercut him in the gut.

"Please." Dean begged as he began to spit up blood, but Castiel showed no mercy.

"I gave everything for you and this is what you give to me?"

"Do it." Dean spoke once Castiel had beaten him so badly he could no longer stand. Castiel stared down at him but did not move. "Just do it!" Instead, Castiel placed two fingers on Dean's shoulder and knocked him out.

"You little hussy." Dylan said in a playful tone as I continued to walk away from her.

"Shut up, Dylan."

"The world is falling apart around you and you find time to straddle your ex in a car." I stopped and spun around with a thoughtful look on my face.

"You've got the details all wrong, actually." I said. "The location wasn't in, it was on top of and as for the position, he was the one on top this time." Dylan paused to stare at me for a moment before responding.

"I don't really think the location or position is the main point right now." She deadpanned.

"Well, I'm just saying, these are important facts. Now, can we get back in the house and make sure Adam doesn't split on us?"

"Bobby's got a shotgun on the boy. Where's he going?" Dylan countered. "Now, before we go back in, we need to have girl talk."

"I'd give the sex an A-. The minus only because we didn't get to finish."

"Not what I meant." Dylan said with a sigh. "I meant, what does this mean for the two of you? Are you back together?" I shrugged.

"I don't think so. Not yet. I mean, we still have a lot of stuff to deal with, or at least I do. I have to work on forgiving him first."

"You haven't yet?"

"At times I think I have, but then I have trouble trusting what he says, so obviously I haven't. It's not like sex is just going to sweep everything under the rug. I know it was just a kiss, and I'm not struggling with that anymore, I just don't know if I can trust him. It was so easy for him to lie to me again and again. How can I trust that he wont do it again?"

"Shouldn't you have asked him that before you slid onto a car with him?" she asked me. I glared at Dylan.

"Thanks sis. Great talk." I said and began to walk away. Dylan laughed.

"I'm kidding! Kind of. Look, I don't know the secret to trusting people after they've hurt you, but, if you're ever going to learn, shouldn't it be with Sam. It's not like he's going anywhere and it's pretty clear that you two can't just be roommates or friends."

"So, I should just move out?" I asked with a playful smile.

"No, idiot. Just give in to what your heart wants for once. It's obvious you've been miserable without him. Don't think Kim and I haven't noticed." I smiled at her.

"When did you become the well rounded sister?"

"Right around the time you were born. I was resting in the womb like 'wow, this chick is crazy'." I shoved her.

"Shut up. We have Randy to thank for this. You were just as crazy before him."

"Girls!" We suddenly heard Bobby call. We rushed into the house to find Bobby alone.

"Uh, where's Adam?" Dylan asked.

"Wouldn't I like to know?" Bobby answered.

"Hey, don't sass me, old man. I'm not the one who lost baby Winchester." Dylan shot back.

"Jeez, Bobby, you had one job." Bobby glared at me.

"Well, excuse me for dropping the ball. Where the hell were you two? Too busy gossiping about the cutest boys at Singer High? He was right in front of me and then he disappeared into thin air."

"Angels?" I asked.

"Angels." He answered.

"Well, shit!" Dylan summed up our thoughts in just those two words.

Once we got Sam and Kimberly on the phone, they quickly returned home to yell at us. Luckily, Castiel popped in with a badly beaten Dean on his shoulder, which distracted their wrath.

"What happened to him?" Bobby asked.

"Me." Castiel answered simply and plopped Dean on the couch.

"Well, wake him up. I need to talk to him." Kimberly said.

"Maybe that could wait until later?" Bobby suggested.

"Yeah, we still have to deal with Adam." Sam pointed out.

"What is it with you Winchesters and sacrificing yourselves?" I muttered.

"No one's sacrificing anyone. We're just saving our brother."

"Except, now you want to bring Dean straight to the angels to do it? Doesn't that sound… stupid as hell?" Dylan mentioned oh so nicely.

"He's not going to do it." Sam spoke firmly. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Were you not watching the same show as us? That's what he's been trying to do for the past 24 hours." I said.

"When push comes to shove, he'll make the right call. I know it."

"That's like saying he's bluffing about killing himself. Do you know how many people underestimate their loved ones every day, only to find them dead in their rooms?" I spoke skeptically. "I mean, Kim, what do you think?" Kimberly looked at me with lifeless eyes.

"I just want to talk to him."

"Well," Bobby began. "Cass, you heard her. Wake him up. Let them talk."

We all cleared the house so that Kimberly and Dean could have some alone time. She stood across the room from him with her arms folded and met his gaze steadily.

"I know you don't understand." He tried.

"I love you." Kimberly said, surprising Dean. "I've probably loved you for a long time and have been fighting it, but, I won't fight anymore. You wanted to know how I really felt. Well, there it is. I'm in love with you. And you deserve it, even if you don't think you do. You're brave and selfless. You'd give your life time and time again to protect complete strangers. It's who you are. Even after going to hell, you're still that person. I mean, look what you're willing to do now. You're a hero, Dean. You're my hero."

Tears welled up in Kimberly's eyes. When Dean looked down at the floor, she walked over and knelt down between his legs, forcing him to look at her. "I don't like to feel this way. Vulnerable. But, I can't help it with you. The slightest glances, or the gentlest of touches from you can unravel me. So, now I need you. You can't make me want you, crave you the way I am, only to disappear on me. You opened my heart when I lost all hope that I could ever find love again, so, now you have to be here and save me from another heartbreak. And save me from having to pick up the pieces when you're gone." Dean opened his mouth to speak but was silenced by a kiss. "Don't speak. We have to save your brother. Come on." Kimberly took Dean by the hand and led him out front.

"Where the hell are we?" Dean asked as we approached the place that the angels were keeping Adam.

"Van Nuys, California." Castiel answered.

"Where's the beautiful room?" Dean asked.

"In there."

"The beautiful room is in an abandoned muffler factory in Van Nuys, California?"

"Where'd you think it was?" Castiel asked becoming annoyed.

"I don't know… Jupiter?"

"Can we focus here?" Kimberly asked. "What's the plan?" Castiel removed his tie.

"There are five angels inside." Casitel informed us. "All of which, won't hesitate to kill you. I'll clear them out, you grab the boy."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're going to take on five angels by yourself?" I asked.

"Yes." Castiel replied.

"Isn't that suicide?" Dean asked.

"Maybe it is, but, then I won't have to watch you fail." Suddenly the air was feeling a little tense.

"Awkward." Dylan muttered.

"Well, despite your issues with Dean, I'm not going to let that happen." Kimberly spoke up. "Have you three forgotten that you have three badass witches tagging along for the ride? Cass, we'll back you up. Dean and Sam will grab the boy."

"No way in hell." Dean objected.

"Who's going to be around to stop me? Have you changed your mind about saying yes?" Dean remained silent. "Okay then." Before anyone could say anything, she blew the door of its hinges. "Let's get this party started, shall we?"

"I guess we aren't sneaking in." I muttered to Dylan. Immediately one angel came out and charged at Kimberly. She flashed her hands and he went flying back, losing grip of his angel blade. I tumbled toward it, grabbed it and threw it directly at him. As I ran to pick up the blade, two more angels appeared, one of which knocked me back to the entrance of the building. Sam and Dean helped me up while Dylan orbed to the dead angel and grabbed the blade from his chest. One of the angels swung his blade at Dylan but she orbed behind him and plunged her blade into his back. The other one tried to attack her while she was busy, but Kimberly blew her up and sent her flying in the opposite direction. Castiel grabbed her and stabbed her in the throat with his blade.

"Anyone else?" Kimberly called. When the last two appeared, they were much quicker than the last. Kimberly was the first to be knocked out. Then Dylan. I had no choice but to cut myself and quickly draw the symbol to get rid of all angels, including Cass. Otherwise, they would have killed him. Sam took out a handkerchief and wrapped it around my hand.

"I'm fine. Now's the part where you find your brother." I said, rushing him away.

In the center of the factory, there was a smaller room. Dean headed over to it and walked in to find the 'beautiful room'. There, he found his little brother, Adam, bloody on the floor. He went to rescue him.

"Dean, it's a trap." He warned him.

"I figured."

"Did you really think it would be that easy?" Zachariah popped up in front of them with a smirk on his face.

"Did you?" Dean countered. Sam had snuck up behind the angel and tried to stab him in the back, but Zach was ready for that and quickly countered his attack.

"You know what I've learned from this experience, Dean? Patience." He said confidently and waved his hand. Adam suddenly fell to the ground and leaked blood from his mouth.

"Adam?" Dean called frantically. "Let him go you son of a bitch!"

"Yeah, I thought I was downsized for sure, and for us, the firing… pretty damn literal." Dean glared daggers at him. "But, I should have trusted the boss man." Zachariah continued. "It's all playing out like he said. You, me, your hemorrhaging brothers…" He trailed off before waving a hand towards Sam and causing him to vomit up blood as well. "You're finally ready, right? You know there's no other choice. There's never been a choice."

"No. But there's always the charmed ones." Kimberly spoke before I threw a large potion. Zachariah turned around just in time to be doused in holy oil and to watch in fear as Kimberly blew him up into a crisp piece of toast. The Winchester trio stood in absolute awe of us.

"MICHAEL!" Zachariah screamed through his pain.

"Just shut up and die already." Dylan ordered him, but he did not shut up. He began chanting in Enochian. Suddenly, the room began to rumble and the light was getting increasingly brighter.

"We've got to go!" Dean shouted. We all rushed out of the room but right when Adam was exiting the door slammed shut in front of him.

"Adam!" Dylan yelled.

"Stand back!" Kimberly commanded. She blew the door open to reveal a dark and empty office.

The drive home was difficult.

"So, holy oil?" Sam asked at some point. Dylan and I were fast asleep in the back seat, leaving Kimberly to reveal our secret plan.

"Yup." She said. "It's effective."

"Thanks for letting us in on the plan." Dean said sarcastically.

"If you knew we were planning on entering the main showdown between you and Zach, you guys would have left us at home or cuffed us to the car. The only way to save your asses when you get knocked on them, is unexpectedly." Dean couldn't help but chuckle.

"That's my girl." He said.

"And you, not saying yes… that's my boy." She said back. Sam rolled his eyes.

"Get a room."

"Or a car if we follow your example." Kimberly said smugly.

"What?" Dean asked.

"It's not important." Sam said, shooting Kimberly a glare. "What is important is Adam. We've got to get him back." The mood once again became very solemn.

"And we will." Dean said before pressing harder on the gas pedal. "Destiny, be damned."
