If it would be his last morning that'd he would be awake and breathing, he wouldn't mind dying because Hermione had never looked more beautiful than she did at the moment. The rays of the morning sun shone in through the curtains, they lightened up her messy curls and even showed off a few freckles.

Percy watched her and etched the image of her in his mind. He reached over and pushed a pluck of hair behind her ear, she took in a sharp breath and he watched as she slowly peeled her eyes open.

"Goodmorning." Percy softly said as he cradled her cheek, "Want some breakfast?" He asked.

Hermione hummed and turned her head to kiss his palm, "Yes please." She said and smiled up at him.

Percy leaned over, a smile gracing his lips and he softly pressed a light kiss against her slightly bruised lips. Without moving too much, Percy crawled out and quickly pulled on his underwear and some pants.

Out of the corner of his eyes he noticed Hermione slowly moving to get out of bed as well, "Stay." He said, "Breakfast in bed."

Hermione looked up at him and the light showcased her brown eyes, gods, he'd do anything for her. They exchanged a few words and Percy swiftly made them some food.

He put a mini-table up and set the plates on them. He reached over to press a kiss against her forehead. "I'm getting VIP treatment." Hermione teased.

Percy sat down next to her and put a hand over the blanket on her leg, with a teasing smile he looked over, "I know that if I am feeling a bit sore, you'd feel a lot more sore."

Hermione chuckled a bit as she blushed. She nodded, "I am, thank you for breakfast." She said.

"Anytime, love."

They were dressed and ready to go. He held her hand as they waited for the metro, small smile's exchanged while Hermione's were happy, Percy's were a bit nervous. Of course, he was excited to meet her parents, it's the first time he actually met the parents of someone he's in an actual relationship with. So he's nervous, very nervous.

They chatted about everything and nothing, Percy was actually surprised at how close they actually live. "We should visit them during the next holidays."

Hermione snorted, "If they're not going to France."

He raised his eyebrows, "Don't like France?" They stepped off of the train and followed Hermione as she led the way to her house.

"Had too much of France."

Percy laughed and smiled as Hermione opened the door, "Mum, dad?"

"Upstairs!" A man's voice shouted.

Percy looked at Hermione with his raised eyebrows and held up his bags. "Where do I put them?"

"We'll put them in our room." Hermione said and stepped up the stairs. Percy followed and looked at the figure that appeared on top of the stairs.

"No funny business." The man joked. Percy stopped as he looked up, he gave them a charming smile.

"I don't mix business with pleasure, sir." He joked. The man laughed and Hermione looked back approvingly. "I'm Wendell Granger." He held his hands up.

Percy smiled and held their bags up, "Percy Grindelwald, I'd love to shake your hands but-"

"Oh right," The man chuckled and moved out of the way to let them continue to their room. "Come on up, it's nice to meet you, Percy. You're the young man that i've been hearing things about."

"All good things I hope." He joked and huffed in amusement at how Hermione rolled her eyes. "Your mother is finishing up a few things at our practice." Wendell turned to Percy, "So, you're also a wizard."

Percy nodded, "I've come from a long line of wizards, it must have been a surprise to have found out that Hermione was a witch."

Hermione snorted and her father beamed, "Oh you have no idea, suddenly we were visited by a witch that gave us her letter, revealing that she has this magical ability." Percy nodded as he stepped through their bedroom door. "You should've seen her after we've gotten her books!" The man laughed.

"Dad!" Hermione interjected, complaining.

"Oh let me have this, I can never tell the story to my friends!" The man turned back to the pureblood as he kept in a laugh at Hermione's exasperated face. "So we first get to Diagon Alley, and oh my god. We just lost her!" He snapped, "Just like that!"

Percy laughed, "Let me guess, she was at the bookstore."

Wendell laughed and slapped his knee, "Yes!" he exclaimed, "Her mother and I were panicking so hard, we've asked two wizards to help us find her!"

Percy laughed and looked at a blushing Hermione, "No way." She looked away, covering her eyes. "Oh my gods." He snorted.

"She just sat there! Already reading , what was it?"

"Hogwarts: A history." Hermoine said quietly. Percy chuckled and shook his head. He remembers her leaving a well-read book, the cover damaged at his house. He gave her a small smile.

"Yes! That book." Wendell said, "She memorized everything before she even stepped on the train."

Percy chuckled and shook his head, he put down the bads and walked over to the man. Finally being able to shake his hand. "It is really nice to meet you."

"You as well, Percy." He said, "It's nice to finally meet you."

"You too, sir."

"Just Wendell." He waved and the man walked over to the door, "I'm just going to finish up some paperwork, I'll see you later at dinner. Hermione, you should show him around!"

Hermione smiled and put a hand on his shoulder, "Want to go look around?"

Percy nodded and smiled, following Hermione out of the door.

They had spent a few more days at the Granger's household, Percy rather enjoyed being around muggles, the simplicity of just being muggle unlike being mortal. Until of course his luck had run out, Hermione and him were hanging around near the empty park when they were eventually attacked.

"Want some Crispy Cheese 'n' Wieners?" A voice asked and Percy blinked, letting go of Hermoine's hand and immediately reached into his hand. "Beano?" He asked incredulously.

"Try again!"

Percy looked at her again, the dumpy old grandmother looked. "Stheno." He said and nodded. He looked over to Hermione and noticed that she had her wand out.

He shook his head at her and she lowered her wand, Percy walked over, "I would like one." He said and took his pen out, he uncapped it and turned her into dust.

He turned back to Hermione and smiled, "Stheno is an old friend." He said with a grin. "Right before I left the wolf house." He said with a wolfish grin.

Hermione giggled, "The wolf house, how was it?"

Percy shrugged, "Barely remember it."

They shared a laugh and continued their little date. "We should leave in a few hours." He said quietly, "The time difference is a bit huge already."

Hermione squeezed his hand, "Let's."

"You're always welcome to visit, with or without Hermione." Wendell said as he shook Percy's hand. Percy cocked his head with a smile and laughed a bit.

"I'm sure we can do a guy's night, I'm quite enjoying the hours we had put into mini-golf." The two guys laughed and Hermione rolled her eyes. They had gone off to mini-golf together after one of her dad's colleagues called up and asked if he knew someone who'd join them for their monthly company outing.

Of course, her dad had chosen her boyfriend.

The man was totally enamored. He kept giving her daughter thumbs up when Percy wasn't looking. Wendell even asked him about his work out routine after he saw Percy's bare arms for the first time.

Her mother was nicer than usual, but she was still mad about Hermione's last minute cancellation of going to France as a family. She had jumped on the opportunity when Percy mentioned his plans for the vacation.

"Why don't we go to France, some time together?" She suggested.

Hermione looked over with a raised eyebrow, as if asking 'really, now?'. "It would be lovely, we go to this lovely neighborhood every time, I'm positive that Hermione can show you around."

Percy looked over to Hermione with a raised eyebrow, the girl wasn't looking back at him but at her mother. "Seriously?" He was already being invited for family functions, "I'd love to do it sometime."

"Per-" Hermione started but her mother just gave him an excited look and he looked over at Hermione with a pouting look in his eyes. Percy smiled and waved before reaching over to hold her hand and look at her.

Crack.

He looked over the cliff and over at the old man, "How much will it be to go back to America?"

"Percy, this is an illegal portkey." Hermione hissed.

Percy shrugged, "It's not illegal," He smirked, "Just a bit outdated, like, before they needed to be registered."

"Sixty." Percy handed it over, confused why the price had lowered. Well, there was no need for hush money since everyone already knows that he was in London. "Each."

Percy handed over some more and they stepped into the bucket.

He stepped out a lot less disoriented than Hermione was. He let her come back from her nausea before he smiled apologetically. "We need to apparate to Canada." He said and squeezed her shoulder.

"Give me just another few minutes." Hermione said and Percy rubbed her back.

"You should try and get your apparition license." Percy stated.

Hermione shook her head, "I'll do it next school year." She said and stood up straighter, "I'm ready to go."

Percy shrugged and intertwined his hand with hers. They took in a deep breath as they once again disappeared with a crack.

They appeared outside in the street, Hermione looked around, cautiously. "This is a wizarding village. Love, no-one is going to have it out for us."

Hermione nervously laughed as she noticed a few people walking around, it looked like it was early out. "What time is it?"

Percy checked his watch, "Six, in the morning." He said and nodded, "I don't think anybody is awake at home, do you want to get some breakfast?"

"Percy, we already ate breakfast." Hermione said and chuckled.

"Then we'll just have to go home," Percy said and smiled at her. He dropped the bags and waved his wand. The heavy bags were levitated and Percy was dragging them along on one finger.

Finally with his hands free, he took Hermione's and intertwined them. The girl rolled her eyes at the touchy nature of her boyfriend but let him as she smiled fondly. She let him walk her around the town but he only said a few things about the history that it has, "Not been around lately?"

"Not been around at all." Percy said and cringed, "Ilvermorny is a boarding school as well, on the days that I could go home I was required to do some quest at Camp Half-blood." He said quietly. "I missed out on a lot at home."

Hermione rubbed his arm with her free hand, "You're here now, to catch up." Hermione said with a smile and then teased him, "And you're bringing a girl with you so they'll love having you back."

Percy laughed, the teasing obviously worked to cheer him up. "I don't think I would've come home with anyone when I left." He said and pulled her closer by her hand so that she is in front of him now. He smiled down at her and lightly pressed a kiss against her lips, "Love you."

Hermione rolled her eyes and smiled, "Love you too." She said and turned around at the sound of someone approaching.

"Paul?" Percy questioned and he looked very confused, "You can run?"

The man with salt-and-pepper hair approached the two in running gear, the man stretched a bit, "I'm getting old, Percy. I need to keep my body active." He said and turned to Hermione, "This is the girlfriend you've been talking my ear off about."

Percy proudly smiled and nodded, "Hermione, this is my step-dad, Paul. Paul, my girlfriend Hermione." Paul shook her hand and exchanged pleasantries.

"Let's go to the house," The man said with a smile, Percy looked down at the small plastic bag he had on him.

"What's in the bag?"

"Book and sugar cubes for Blackjack."

"Blackjack's here?"

"Yeah, he just showed up." Paul shrugged and Percy looked as confused as ever.

"Why didn't he just come to me?" He questioned and Paul shook his head, not knowing why either.

"What book did you get?" Hermione quietly asked.

"'Armando Dippet: Master or Moron?' by Rita Skeeter. I saw it on the book shelves, it was on sale."

Percy snorted and looked at the distaste on Hermione's face, oh how she hates Rita Skeeter. "It was on discount for a reason, Paul." Percy chuckled and patted his arm. "From what I remember she was insufferable and used forbidden quills to write down words."

"Oh deary me." Paul said and opened the door for them. The house was on a gorgeous piece of land, not ending even past the trees. "Welcome to the Grindelwald estate." Paul said, "It's been passed down through the whole family, we actually have a party in a few days-"

"I already informed her."

Paul smiled, "That's lovely." They heard clattering in the house and a squeal. "Estelle probably woke up your mother."

Percy had a little pep in his step and Hermione had to hold back a giggle at how adorable he was to see his baby sister again.

She watched as he burst through the doors and into the kitchen, he walked over to kiss his mother on the cheek and immediately reached over to the baby.

He looked at her and smiled widely, "Who's here? Older brother, Percy!" The baby giggled at his name and Hermione had a fond smile on her face as she watched them interact.

"I had the same look on my face when I was with Percy's dad, and Paul of course." A voice said and Hermione turned to look, his mother suddenly stood beside her. Hermione turned to the woman and she sees little pieces of Percy in her.

The warm smile and the eyes that change color in the light. The quick smile and even the bright eyes, although Hermione has seen when Percy gets angry. Like a storm brewing inside his eyes, she supposes that he inherited that from his father.

Hermione smiled and held her hand out, since Percy was distracted with Estelle, nobody was going to introduce them. "Hermione Granger, Mrs. Grindelwald."

Grindelwald smiled and waved her hand away before pulling Hermione in a hug, the young witch wasn't really that surprised. The way that Percy acted around people he was familiar with really says enough about his upbringing, along with the way that he loves touch.

He'll take any chance to have a hand on Hermione somewhere, sometimes in public it'd be her knee or he'd reach out to hold her hand, even if it is inconvenient. In private, he'd always put a hand on her waist, or her thigh.

Hermione likes it whenever they touch, the connection between them feels stronger and the spark that she feels each time is exhilarating.

Hermione hugged her back and pulled away with a smile, "Sally is fine." Percy's mother said and pulled away before walking into the kitchen. "Would you like something to eat, Hermione?" She asked and reached out to pinch Percy's cheek.

Percy grimaced playfully and looked over at Hermione before at his mom, "Stop embarrassing me, mom." He whispered and Estelle giggled before putting her hands on his cheeks as well, pinching.

Percy mocked being hurt and Hermione laughed. "We've already eaten breakfast."

Sally nodded, "Ah, then you might want to try some of my cookies."

Percy was immediately seated with Estelle on his lap, "Cookies?" He asked and pulled Hermione down to sit, "You must try them." He ordered.

Hermione raised her eyebrow and huffed out a laugh as she looked over at the child, "Hey." She said to the child who looked over at her and giggled adorably.

Sally hummed, "Got Estelle's approval." She smiled as she turned to briefly look at them, "Means that she likes you."

Hermione smiled and held her hand out for a high five. Estelle, already being influenced by Percy as a child, high five-ed her. She laughed with Percy at how proud Estelle looked with herself. "So Hermione, has Percy behaved himself this school year?"

"Ma-"

"I think as much as he can." Hermione said amused. Mothers love her, she doesn't know why. But she doesn't mind it, Molly always invites her to stay at the Burrow, the time she spent at the house was one of the best times of her life. Especially since it gives her the chance to practice her magic with Ron or the twins.

Sally laughed and shook her head, "He will always find a way to get into any kind of trouble." Hermione nodded, looking at Percy and how her boyfriend was faking being annoyed. She can see in his face how he's happy that she can get along with his mother.

A bell rang and Sally pulled cookies out of the oven with some mitts. It smells heavenly in the kitchen. She blinked a few times when they appeared to be blue. "You haven't told her, Perseus?" Sally said teasingly, a smile on her face. The mother looked back at Hermione's confused face, "Percy had a lot of accidental magic as a kid," she started and Percy buried his head behind Estelle's shoulders. "Everytime he sneezed, he'd turn the room blue."

Hermione held a laugh behind her hand but when Percy looked up at her with a pouting look on his face, she busted out laughing. "You're such a bully." Percy pouted.

With a playful look on her face, she reached over and pinched his cheeks, "Now, don't be so blue." She joked and Sally laughed.

"Oh gods." She said and shook her head, "Eat up, kids." Sally said and casted a cooling spell over the cookies before placing them in front of the three. Hermione didn't have her hand out to reach for them before Percy and Estelle already had one bite out of it.

With a fond look casted at the two, Hermione finally reached out and took a bite out of them. The way that the chocolate melted on her tongue made her accidentally moan. Percy snorted as he looked over with a teasing look on his face. Hermione put a hand in front of her mouth and rolled her eyes at him.

Estelle squealed.

Percy winked at her and continued to eat. When Paul walked into the kitchen he had changed into his normal clothes which just existed out of a shirt and tie. A bit of business casual.

They began to discuss the parties that were going to happen in some days time and Percy was practically buzzing in his seat. "Can we set up the dueling platform earlier?" He asked and Sally looked over. Some kind of silent conversation between the two. Sally nodded.

"Just set it up yourself, make sure you have the potion box near."

Percy smiled and nodded, waving Hermione's questioning look away and responding with a look of his own telling her that he'll tell her later. Hermione nodded and talked and laughed at a few jokes that Paul made.

"-personally I really liked reading Pride and Prejudice from Jane Austen." Hermione countered Paul. They were suddenly talking about muggle books and Percy had already lost his attention that he'd used to pay to them.

"So this is why you pursued dueling?" Hermione asked.

Percy smiled and rubbed the back of his neck, before he nodded and started to explain. "Well, to be truthful. I wasn't that liked at Ilvermorny." He admitted and Hermoine nodded, "It was slightly worse than the dislike that I get from Hogwarts." Hermione cringed, at Hogwarts, some gave him a chance. She got to see how he thrived in the classroom, teaching the younger kids.

"Dueling was something that I was good at, and with a small push from Lou. I started to show everyone." He said with a small smile, "Family was proud and I made some more friends."

"You're not going for the international title this year?" Hermione questioned.

Percy shook his head, "I know that I am capable of winning it internationally. I don't think that I need to continue proving myself."

Hermione nodded as they wandered onto the podium, "So you always dueled with your family members?"

"And won." Percy added with a slightly smug smile.

Hermione nodded, truly impressed. The Grindelwalds are known to be accurate and powerful with their magic, the aurors have put many people into prisons and have stopped many wizards from running wild and causing panic. The medical Grindelwalds are known to be one of the best mediwizards that there are, their precision in their spell casting and potion making made people live despite the worst injuries they ever had. The magical investigators had finished many crimes in the matter of hours, and if it was a big one, a few days.

She had done a bit of research after she first saw him on the train. She had heard his name and his family history from Ron. But Ron's facts were always influenced by his personal opinions.

Percy walked to the opposite side of the podium, he pulled his wand out at Hermione and smiled. "On three or after?" He asked.

"After." Hermione replied with a smile as she pulled out her own wand.

Percy casted a spell at the speaker and it counted down. "1…2…3!" An old commentator's voice said and Hermione was pushed back a bit as she deflected an expelliarmus. With a flash of orange the duel was over as Percy casted Hermione into the protective chamber that froze her landing and made her land softly, just like the one they had and used for Dumbledore's Army.

With the casting of a flipendo, Hermione was thrown back into the chamber and re-emerged looking a bit messy with her hair everywhere. She whined about her hair and Percy gave her an apologetic kiss, knowing how it took to brew a copy of the sleeker hair potion.

"I'll brew you double of what you made," He said with a sheepish smile, but reached over to twirl a piece between his fingers, "I do love the way it's so curly." He said with a smile.

Hermione raised her eyebrows at him, "Don't think you can charm your way out of this." She said and reached up to peck his lips, "I do like it when you flirt to get out of things." She said with a smile.

Percy laughed, he knows he does it a lot. He knows how lazy wizards are but sometimes how he acts makes you wonder if he isn't a muggle. Sometimes he'd borrow Hermione's book to study but then accidentally knocked it into the fire

He had to buy one and flirt a lot for her forgiveness.

The day of the family party was somewhat of a big day for Hermione as many of the kids and half of the adults adore Percy. The more strict ones didn't like his unorthodox ways or just the way he behaved.

Hermione knew that the Grindelwald family was big, but never actually realized how big it really was. She stood there, with a dropped jaw watching as people apparated into the house and or stepped out of the fireplace. She stopped counting mentally after the first twenty.

"I know." Percy said amused when he leant against the table, beside her. "The Weasley's are a big family like some of mom's siblings here." Another family bustled through the door, "Well, most are."

A little girl with pigtails walked up, "Are you Perseus' girlfriend?"

Percy raised her eyebrows at the little girl with an amused face. "Emily, what did I say about calling me Perseus?"

"Do not do it," She pouted, "But mom calls you Perseus."

"Aunty can do that," Percy said, "Your mom is an important person and an older respected figure in my life." He explained.

The girl looked back at Hermione, "Are you Percy's girlfriend."

Hermione broke out of her amused stare and nodded, "Yes I am." She said and felt Percy's hand reach out to her. The boy made quick work of it and intertwined them, a proud smile on his face.

"I did good, huh?" He whispered with a grin on his face.

The little girl nodded yes, it wasn't subtle, not so subtly done. "Go on, I think your brother just ran to the fireworks!" He said and hasted her out. The little girl's eyes widened and she quickly ran out of the room to follow after her brother.

Percy turned back to her, "Do not get affected by my cousins flirting with you, especially Natalia." He warned, and shook his head, "I'm positive she still sends letters to Lou." Hermione laughed and leant over to press a kiss against his cheek.

A teasing smile on her face, "I mean, it'll definitely be a challenge if they're as charming as you are."

Percy laughed, "Fell for my charms now, did you?"

Hermione nodded, "And for your good looks." She teased. Percy smiled brightly and nodded, "I knew it." He said and pressed a kiss against the corner of her lips before he started to pull her in the direction of the dueling platform.

"You must duel against Rodrick." Percy gushed, "I need to see him get embarrassed."

Hermione laughed and let her get pulled towards the dueling platform, supposedly having to duel Rodrick. "Having me fight with your family already? I don't think that they've done anything."

"Yet!" Percy exclaimed, "Got to show you off on the podium, my brilliant fighting girlfriend." He said proudly. "That'll make them appreciate you and respect you." He hummed and put a hand on his chin, rubbing it. "It'll make them also take you seriously, especially when you say no to my cousins."

"Are you subtly telling me to show dominance?"

"Maybe." Percy shrugged and stepped up to a young adult with a white beard. "Roddy!" He exclaimed and pushed Hermione forward. "This is my girlfriend, Hermione Granger." He introduced her, "Brilliant duelist!"

Rodrick smiled as he shook her hand and nearly pressed a kiss against her hand, but Percy gave him the stink eye. "I need to appreciate beautiful women, taken or not." Rodrick said and smiled at Hermione.

She could feel Percy rolling his eyes.

"Brilliant," Rodrick repeated, "Starting to sound like a British cousin, are you sure that you haven't spent enough time over there?"

"Oh go back to Germany you mup-" Hermione snorted as Percy tried to retort with british slang. "Go back to Germany!" He retorted. Rodrick just snorted.

"Duelist? Up for a duel?" He asked, unholstering his wand.

Hermione nodded, she can see how competitive natured the Grindelwalds are, she also noticed many eyes on them and many bags of coins being thrown on the table. She also noticed their betting nature.

She first saw it in Percy when they were in the Room of Requirements when she was up against Ron. The twins weren't subtle but the enlarged sum that Percy gave them wasn't subtle either.

Hermione was a hit by everyone, except for the idealists. But they were also warming up to her, recognizing her intelligence rather than her blood.

Sally and Paul kept sending her praising looks as she mingled around with some of the folks. Many looks were thrown around, mostly fond because Percy is a big hit by the kids. He'd take them for piggy back rides or transfigure many things into something with wheels so they can be pushed around.

She was sure that the small cart was bewitched by the end of the night. Together they laid in bed, facing one another. "So," Percy started and Hermione was already smiling. "Did Natalie hit on you?"

Hermione snorted, "Percy, every single one of your older cousins hit on me."

"Even Dan?"

Hermione cringed, "Even Dan." She confirmed.

Percy snorted and pulled her closer with an arm around her waist. "Glad you're still with me," He teased.

Hermione rolled her eyes and pressed a kiss against his lips, "I don't know," She teased, "I have a feeling that Natalie might be a good kisser."

"So you go for the good kissers," Percy retorted after pulling away from the kiss, "I didn't think you'd be a liar." Hermione looked a bit offended and Percy quickly finished his teasing, "You told Ginny I was a good kisser." He teased.

Hermione blushed, "Right, I keep forgetting you heard that."

Percy laughed into her shoulder and leant back up to kiss her passionately, "I think it has gotten into my head." He said between the kisses.

Hermione hummed and pulled herself up, not breaking the kiss. On top of Percy's waist she leant back up, pulling away from the kiss with a grin on her face. "I like to have some more proof to further prove my hypothesis."

Percy slowly sat up and grinned, hands on his legs on his sides. "I can prove the whole theory," He said as pulled her hands and put them onto his shoulders. "And more." He smiled and leant up to kiss her once again.

A/N: I really like writing this story, mostly because I'm stuck on my Ilvermorny story LOL
