"Almost there sweetheart." Sirius whispered as he pulled the lighter from his pants pocket. Striking it to get the flame he held it to the wounds, stopping the the bleeding. Hermione's pale face was dripping with sweat and tears. Biting her bottom lip even harder than before she drew blood. Holding the needle and medical thread from his own medical bag, Sirius brought the needle to the flame, sterilizing it. "I want you to bite on this." His grey eyes pierced Hermione's tear-filled chocolate eyes. Holding out his leather jacket to her. With shaking fingers Hermione grabbed it and put it in her mouth. Clamping down on it she felt the white-hot needle pierce her skin, the thread pulling at the tender skin, pulling the two sides together. Clenching her teeth down even harder Hermione forced the scream to stay in her throat. Glazed eyes stared at Sirius's nimble fingers, not seeing him, only feeling pain.

"CRUCIO!" The cackle of who could only be Bellatrix sent fear straight to Hermione's heart. "CRUCIO!" Bellatrix's crazed eyes moved into Hermione's line of sight. By this time Hermione's body couldn't feel anything. She couldn't feel the blood soak her clothes, the chill of the floor seeping into her body bringing her closer to death. She hear anything. Not even her own screams as the cruciatus curse took over her body over and over again. Slowly her sanity was slipping away, the torture that Bellatrix puts Hermione through has seemed like a test, to see how much she can stand, how much she can take. How worthy she is to be one Harry Potter's best friends. The pain is almost welcome. That is the only thing that she can feel, everything else seems like a distant dream. The sunshine warming her skin, the feathers of a hippogriff softly grazing her arms, everything has been a lie. Pain is the only real thing. Nothing else exists. Opening her mouth once more knowing that soon, it will be the last time she has a coherent thought. The last time her chest rises and falls. "Does the wittle mudblood want to pway?" Bellatrix's teasing, baby voice caressed Hermione's ear, finally, screams she hadn't even realized where there had stopped. Only the clicking of heels on stone could be heard getting louder until the stiletto heel of a shoe was next to Hermione's unseeing eyes. "Pathetic." Bellatrix snarled, moving her foot to rest heavily on Hermione's neck, Bellatrix's eyes lit up like a childs on christmas as Hermione's face started to turn blue. "Unfortunately I'm not allowed to kill you… yet." Bellatrix's unspoken promise hung in the air long after she had left.

"'Mione!" More screams hung in the air, Hermione's lungs pumped air into them gratefully, even though her heart was dreading what was happening to the one yelling her name.

"No, no! Take me! Hurt me! Don't hurt him!" Hermione started to sob, an arm wrapped around her, without hesitation Hermione brought her arm down on the one restraining her from getting to him. "NO!" She yelled, her feet flailing along with her hands, "RON!" She started to sob. Red hair, blue eyes and freckles were blurred by the tears falling down her cheeks.

"I knew this would be a bad experience. Damn Bellatrix to the very pit of Hell." Panted a voice that Hermione knew well.

"Snuffles?" Hermione whispered, blinking her tears out of her eyes, along with the terror of Bellatrix.

"It's been a while since you've called me that kiddo." Sirius smiled down at her, a bruise forming on his cheek. Reaching a hand up to his face, ignoring the pain in her side Hermione traced the bruise on his face. Wincing away from her touch, Sirius grimmaced. "Next time… Don't let me teach you to punch correctly."

"Next time? Do you think that there will be a time that you will need to teach me to punch?" Hermione's voice was laced with slight teasing, tracing the outside of the bruising skin she shuddered. "What happened? Last I saw was a needle and… Pain." Closing her eyes again she put her face in Sirius's jacket. "Why won't they stop?" She sobbed. Keeping Hermione in a hug, Sirius motioned for Sam and Dean to come closer.

"They will, it will just take some time." He soothed, brushing her now bushy and sweat soaked hair.

"Where you like this the first time?" Hermione's voice was small, her eyes imploring.

"Yes."

"I hate to break up this lover's moment, but we have one very pissed off hotel manager." Dean drawled. With a start Hermione grabbed the switchblade in Sirius's boots.

"We don't mean any harm." Sam tried soothe Hermione, as her eyes were still glazed over and looked like they belonged on the face of someone who had just brought a monster to life. Moving his hand forward Sam reached for the knife.

"Back away." Hermione hissed, her eyes still glazed over. Looking at Sirius for help Sam reached slowly for the knife again.

"Kitten, it's okay, he just doesn't want you to get hurt." Sirius plucked the knife out of Hermione's shaking hands. "What did you tell the Manager?" Cocking an eyebrow up at Dean.

"That's your problem." Dean said smirking slightly. Pushing Sirius's hands away from her, Hermione stood up on shaking legs.

"Give me your shirt." She put her hand out for Sirius to give his shirt over to her.

"What?! No, I still haven't gotten my jersey back from you from the last time you borrowed my shirt." Sirius's grey eyes playfully glared at her. Smirking Hermione turned to the room, only in a bra and pants.

"Then I guess I'm going to go and talk to the Manager like this." She smirked. Knowing how protective her surrogate father was when it came to her and men. Walking out of the bathroom she grabbed a Gryffindor hoodie and slipped it on before going to the door. "Can I help you?" She asked, opening the broken door up to the Manager. His grey speckled hair darkened in the shade of her room. A red puckered wound around his eyes sparked something in Hermione's memory, ignoring it she shut the door behind the Manager.

"Looks like the Mudblood doesn't want to run now." The 'Manager' said as he turned around to face her. An eye popped out of his socket as his skin bubbled, teeth yellowed, hair grew longer and nails became dirty. His one good eye crazed. "Oh yes, you remember what you did to me last night now don't you, you dirty, filthy, rotten, scum!" He growled as he stalked closer to her, backing away, Hermione felt her back hit against the door behind her. Cursing Sirius for taking the knife from her. "Don't scream or it will be even more painful." Greyback warned her before a growl like laugh escaped his mangled lips. "But perhaps the Mudblood needs to be taught a lesson." Moving closer to her, Hermione's hand went searching for something, anything to use as a weapon. Closer, closer, soon she could smell the rotted meat on his breath, see his blacked tongue, the decaying teeth in his mouth. Moving her head away from Greyback Hermione didn't see the three men aiming guns at Greyback, nor did she see the way he smashed through a window as a pocket knife was embedded in his shoulder. All she felt was the weight of his body leaving hers. Looking around her eyes spotted the three men. Nodding to them she walked to the bed and grabbed a dagger from under her pillow, grasping the handle firmly.

"Thanks guys." Hermione said quietly as she slipped the dagger into the back of her pants. The cool metal a comfort on the small of her back. "Never again will I not have a weapon on me." She vowed to herself.

"Who was that?!" Dean asked, kicking the rolling eye away from him. Sirius frowned slightly before picking up the electric blue eye.

"Mad-eye." Sirius spoke, looking at Hermione. Nodding her head Hermione stood up.

"I thought we re-buried that when we got it back from that miserable old toad who wouldn't stop wearing that horrid pink." Hermione growled, moving closer to Sirius she nodded. "It's Mad-Eye's all right." Plucking the eye from his hands and ignoring the looks that Sam and Dean gave her she bent down and grabbed her small sequined bag from under the bed and dropped the eye in. "Damn." She muttered as a loud thump was heard. "There goes the books." She sighed. "What?" She finally asked Sam and Dean.

"What just happened?" Sam finally asked after a few minutes of silence.

"We are… Searching for some people." Hermione bit her lip looking at Sirius. "But the only problem is, they are looking for us too." Pulling her dagger out of its hiding place in the small of her back, Hermione gently stroked the blade.

"So you're trying to find someone but they are trying to find you at the same time so you keep missing each other?" Sam asked, trying to sum up. A confused look on his face.

"Basically." Sirius cut in, as Hermione opened her mouth, with a warning look on his face Hermione nodded slightly.

"Then what was with the guy?" Dean asked.

"He has a…. grudge." Hermione unhelpfully said. Sirius glared at her.

"So what are two Brits doing here then?" Sam asked.

"We never said we were from Britain." Hermione said sharply.

"Your accents." He explained.

"Oh."

"We just explained it." Sirius firmly said. Nodding the Sam and Dean stood up. "And I think you have outstayed your welcome." He opened the door for the shorter men, Sam only two inches shorter than Sirius, Dean almost a head and a half shorter. With a nod Sam and Dean left. Slamming the still broken door shut as well as possible, Sirius turned to face Hermione.

"How are we going to fix this place up?" Hermione moaned flopping onto her back as she looked at the smashed window, mirror, and part of the door. Glass was everywhere and the bed covers were ripped up.

"The muggle way." Sirius said sighing and without a further word the two went to work cleaning up the room.

"Next time, I'm staying in a tent." Hermione declared.

"Sure Kitten. Sure."

So my computer has been being pretty screwy lately so sorry for not getting this done faster, anyways, I'm really glad that I actually have people who tell me if something's wrong or doesn't make sense in a certain part. I hope that my coputer doesn't screw up the bold and italic parts again . because that's a freaking nightmare.

Question time: What do you think/want to happen next? Any character's you are just dying to have come in?

As always,

Love you!:D
