Heyo! It's been awhile, but I had no internet for a bit, so I hope you like this chapter!
So, just so you know, I'm not gonna have Splinter in the rest of the story. Sorry, but I'm not very good at his character.
Bishop glared at Josh as one of his men held Amy in his hands.
"It's your choice, Joshua," he said, trying to keep his voice straight, "either you infiltrate the turtles' lair and bring back Sukari and her baby or I will kill her." Josh struggled in the chains that held him back and glared fiercely.
"Ya fuckin' bastard!" he screamed. "She ain't got nothin' ta do with dis! I ain't doin' it!" Bishop shrugged and pulled out a switch-blade knife and put it against a crying Amy's throat. He looked at Josh with a horrid death glare and pressed the knife to her neck just enough for a drop of blood to emerge.
"You have three seconds to change your mind, Joshua," he said with poison in his voice. "One… Two… Th-,"
"Okay, fine!" Josh screamed. "I'll do it, dammit! Just don't hurt her!" Bishop smiled and put the blade away. His man put Amy down and she curled up, still crying. Bishop took Josh out of his chains and Josh immediately went over to Amy, holding her close.
"You go tomorrow, Joshua," Bishop said. "Bring them all alive." He walked out of the room, leaving the two on the floor.
"Josh," Amy said, her voice still shaking, "what the hell is going on?! Why is Sukari so important? Tell me!"
"Amy," Josh said, holding her tighter, "I'm so sorry. I didn't want ya dragged into dis, but I have to bring her here because Bishop wants to kill her and her family, save for her baby." Amy's eyes widened and she pushed away from him, looking into his eyes.
"He wants t-to kill her?" she asked. Josh nodded and looked down. "Why?! What did she do?"
"She's his daughter." Amy's breath became heavy and she hugged Josh again.
"Can't you do anything? I thought you forgave her and didn't want to hurt her anymore. Can't you help her?" Josh looked at her, eyes widened. He wanted to do something, but he didn't have a choice anymore. He had to think fast, or there would be a lot of blood on his hands by the end of the week.
…..
"Raphael!" Raj called out. "I need another set of hands!" Raph walked into the new nursery and saw Raj trying to put Danny's pajamas on her, but Danny was fighting her with tiny claws. He chuckled and picked up his little girl and bounced her around.
"Come on, Danny," he cooed softly, "be nice to Aunty Raj. It ain't nice ta scratch her." Danny giggled and reached for her father's face, accidentally hitting him in the eye with her little fist. He laughed and took the pajamas and let Raj hold her while he put them on her. "Good girl." Once Danny was in her pajamas, Raph carried her outside after thanking Raj and sat on the couch. He rocked his daughter back and forth, trying to get her to go to sleep, but having difficulty. "You gotta go ta sleep now, Danny. Give Daddy a break and go ta sleep." Danny responded with a blank stare and Raph sighed. "Fine."
Sukari suddenly walked up to her mate and took her daughter out of his hands. She sat down and pet her head softly. She started humming a familiar tune and rocking her baby slowly. Danny's eyelids were getting heavy as she drifted slowly to sleep. Sukari looked up at a bewildered Raph and giggled.
"Most female dragons respond to lullabies," she said softly, not wanting to wake the baby again. Raph smiled and pulled her over to him, kissing her passionately. She moaned softly and closed her eyes, but she pulled away and stood slowly. "I'm gonna go take a nap. Wanna join me?" Raph smiled again. Sukari had been so tired ever since she got out of labor.
"Sure, baby," he said. "I'll be there in a few minutes." Sukari smiled and walked off to the bedroom, giving the baby back to Raj along the way. Raph went into the kitchen to get some soda. Slash came in a couple seconds later and stood at the entrance. Raph turned to look at him and his look darkened some.
"I never got to apologize for the awful things I said," Slash said quietly, looking at his feet. "I really am sorry for that. Not only did I end up insulting you unnecessarily, but I also hurt Sukari's feelings as well." He looked up at Raph. "The truth is; I think you and Sukari make a lovely couple and that you also make a wonderful father." Raph's eyebrows raised and he smiled a bit, putting his hand out.
"Thanks, Slash," he said. "You're a pretty good guy too, so thanks."
The two suddenly both heard something loud crashing outside. Raph looked towards the door. His eyebrows furrowed and he walked over to the nursery to find Raj. When he did, she looked at him, utter terror filling her eyes.
"Raphael," she said, "go to your bedroom. Protect Sukari and your baby." She handed Danielle to Raph and he ran to the bedroom, closing the door just in time for the front entrance to blow up.
…..
The guys, now in their turtle forms, and the girls all lined up, facing the now blown to bits entrance to their home. An army of Purple Dragons was standing there and who could be leading them but Joshua Mason with his gun in his hands and a look of anger on his face. He looked at the family before him, but noticed that Raphael, Sukari, and the baby were nowhere to be found.
"What do you want, Josh?!" Mona shouted as she was held back by Donatello. Josh looked at her and his glare darkened.
"Where are they?" he asked with his tone down. Leo pulled his katanas out and pointed them at Josh.
"They aren't here!" he shouted. Josh snorted in response and shook his head. He looked at the leader and put one of his hands up.
"Go," he said. The army immediately ran into the lair. The family got out their weapons and ran into battle. They all fought individually and were able to manage their own, that is, until the army got to be too overwhelming for them.
After about an hour of fighting, the army had all of the family on their knees with their arms bound and their weapons taken from them. Josh walked in front of them, eyeing each one.
"Don't hurt any of them," he reminded the army. They nodded and continued to hold down the family. Josh soon walked over to Carolie, making Mikey struggle against his captors. Josh squatted in front of the blonde and gripped her jaw, surprisingly gently. "Where are they, Carolie?" Carolie shook in fear and closed her eyes. Josh sighed and got his gun out, holding it to her head. Mikey struggled even harder.
"Let her go, Josh!" he screamed, pleading. "Please!" Josh ignored him and made Carolie look at him again.
"Come on, Carolie. Just save me da trouble and tell me where she is." Carolie shook her head as tears streamed down her face. Josh sighed and locked the gun, pressing it against her temple. She let out a sob and looked over to Mikey.
Josh suddenly heard a struggle and looked up. He saw about five of his guys dragging and fighting Raphael out of the bedroom. He stood, putting his gun back and ruffled Carolie's hair, making her jerk away and burst out crying. Mikey still fought to get to her. He wanted to comfort her.
Josh walked over to the bedroom, passing Raphael and meeting his eyes for a second before they brought him to his knees with his family. Josh walked into the bedroom, looking around it. He saw a lump under the covers and heard frantic breathing. He bit his lip, realizing that this was the first time he'd see Sukari since the last time he had taken her. He walked up to the bed and pulled the cover back, revealing Sukari cradling a tiny baby in her arms. She stared up at him in fear and held her baby close. Josh sat on the bed next to her and pulled her up by her upper arm. She complied, not wanting to drop Danielle in a struggle.
"J-Josh," she said, "p-please d-don't do this." Josh sighed and stood, dragging her up with him. She started crying and hugging her baby to her chest. "W-wait," she said. Josh looked at her, then at her baby. He put his hands on her arms, trying to get a look at the child, but she jerked away and held firm, but gentle. "I won't l-let you hurt her, Josh," Sukari said, glaring with tears. Josh sighed and pulled her outside. She shook in his grasp and looked at Raph, who immediately tried getting away from the gang again when he saw his mate and daughter.
"No!" he shouted. "Let her go, Josh!" He was punched, but he kept fighting. "I won't let you hurt her or my baby, damn you!" He was able to stand in a moment and fought against the reinforcements. Sukari was led to the entrance of the room, but Josh stopped, gesturing for the gang to start filing the family out of the lair. Sukari was watching her mate as he continued to fight, but she pulled against Josh when Raph had been hit on the head with a pipe and knocked out.
"Raph!" she screamed as she struggled against Josh, being careful of Danny, who had started crying in her arms. Josh suddenly put his hand over her eyes and pulled her out of the lair quickly.
"Don't fight, Sukari," he said quietly, making her stop fighting out of curiosity. "I'm sorry it had ta come ta dis, but I don't have a choice. Just cooperate and hold ya baby while ya can." Sukari gasped and continued to follow him until they all reached a series of trucks. The girls were all put into one truck, the boys in another, and Sukari was taken to Josh's truck. She was placed in the passenger seat and bound to the seat. "Ya okay?" Josh asked, irritating Sukari to the fullest.
"Considering that you and your damn army just destroyed our home, kidnapped all of my family, knocked out my mate, and possibly traumatized my newborn, no, Josh. I most certainly am not okay!" She was glaring daggers at him and still trying to calm Danielle down.
"Look, Kari," Josh said, but he then got cut off by Sukari again.
"My name is Sukari!" she shouted at him, making his right ear ring. "It's not Kari, or Su, or Babe! It's Sukari!" He looked over at her. His first instinct telling him to slap her, but he didn't want to while she was holding her baby. He didn't want to, period.
"Fine, then," he said, keeping his tone low, "Sukari. I didn't wanna do dis, okay? It was honestly da last thing I wanted ta do, but I don't have a choice."
"Why not?" Sukari demanded in a snap. Josh looked at the road before him sadly.
"He's got Amy," he said quietly, making Sukari gasp in shock. "He's gonna kill her unless I bring you ta him."
"So," Sukari said, looking away from him, "you're doing this to save Amy? That's the only reason?"
"Pretty much."
"I thought you still hated us."
"I don't hate ya, Sukari," Josh said, his fists clenching the steering wheel. "I hate dat I couldn't be good enough for ya and I hate Raphael."
"Why do you hate Raphael so much?" Josh looked over at her and, ever so gently, he reached over and placed his hand on her knee.
"Because he got you," he said quietly. Sukari's eyes widened as she stared at the hand that had just claimed residence over her left knee.
I'm gonna leave it at that because I want the very last chapter split in two. Hope you enjoyed and hope to see you soon!
