so i thought of spicing this up and putting this chapter in soul's PoV

"Maka! I thought you quit..." I say when I get home to find my Meister(ex-meister?) sitting on my bed. Maka had told me earlier that day that she was quitting the DWMA for good. I thought she was joking at first, but then she never showed up for the rest of our classes. What is going on with her? She's been acting so weird lately...although I kinda did deserve that last Maka-Chop she gave me. I heard she was self-harming and I wanted to make sure she was okay, but I should've trusted her to come to me if she ever felt like that.
"I'm sorry Soul!" She cries, "I just didn't feel like myself earlier, but i'm better now!"
I never could say no to her...
"It's fine Maka." I say curtly while stripping out of my jacket and t-shirt. Her face gets pale and she turns her head to the side at the sight of my scar.
"What's been bothering you lately Maka?" I ask suspiciously. I needed to know what was wrong with my meister.
"Nothing Soul. I'm fine." She says not looking at me.
"Maka...Tell me now! After that stunt you pulled today i need to know!" I was getting seriously irritated by her behavior.
"...Well I..." She cuts herself off and blinks rapidly...What the?, "It's just I feel really guilty about you're scar and I just let it get to me. That's all!" Even an idiot could tell she was lying, but I know if I press she won't tell me.
"Maka." I sigh, "I've told you before. It was not your fault! I jumped in front of you because I didn't want you to die! Just dont worry so much."
"Ok Soul...I'm really really sorry about what happened today..." She pouts.
"It's fine if you agree to cook dinner for 2 weeks." I tease.
"Ok fine. I'm goig to lay down for a while before dinner." She said while walking out of the room.
"What am I gonna do with you?" I say out loud after she leaves. I couldn't help it. I'm worried. Maka is hiding something from me and i'm going to find out what it is.
