Short Seaweed Invasion for Dinner
The scene shows the very edge of City-Z as everything looks quiet almost like the town has become a ghost town, except there are some people living here which includes the Emerald Ape God and his heroic harem keeping the city as much monster free as possible.
But something came out of the ground right under a highway bridge, and that something looks a lot like seaweed coming out of a sewer hatch.
Then suddenly a bunch of more seaweed came bursting out sending the sewer hatch crashing onto the bottom of the bridge, and those seaweeds clenches onto the street to pull the owner of those tentacle-like seaweeds up from the sewer.
"Huh, so this is the city where the powerful monsters go for some destruction fun." The seaweed monster looked around.
This monster resembles the silhouette of a young person, with visible big, round eyes, and a mouth with some teeth missing. It has all the necessary limbs and kombu, seaweed tentacles as hair.
"I heard rumors about some powerful heroes living here and they are killing the powerful monsters here, I'm pretty curious to meet those heroes." The seaweed monster walked into the street.
"If these heroes are strong… Then maybe I can kill them myself." The seaweed monster grinned.
"Yeah, yeah, if I can do that then I'll be known as a powerful monster, and they will come to me." The seaweed monster smirked.
"Then everyone will know the name, Kombu Infinity!" The seaweed monster laughed loudly.
"Now, just gotta find out where those heroes are living in." Kombu Infinity said as he starts looking around.
(Han-Kami House)
A door to one of the bathrooms opens revealing Genos sticking out as his monster detection alert went off while he was helping with the chores in the house.
"Is everything alright, Genos?" Musashi asked as she walks over to the young cyborg while vacuuming the floor.
"I just detected the presence of a monster nearby; it appears to be moving around from the east side of City-Z." Genos informed.
"The east side, I believe that is where Lady Miriam is going out with Yurei and Kai for a long with Lady Naomasa for their outing." Musashi mentioned.
"Aw yes, I do remember them saying about that. Well, that's one less thing to worry about, and what of Master Azuma?" Genos asked.
"He is currently doing his meditation beneath the earth within a pool of lava. Not to worry, he is protecting himself with a barrier of his Ki, meaning he won't come back all crispy and hard." Musashi answered bluntly.
"Huh, I didn't think Master Azuma would be interested in lava." Genos surprised.
"Because he wishes to try pushing himself further with his mind than increasing his power and physical strength." Musashi stated.
This gave Genos some thoughts about how having a strong mind can also help a person become stronger in a way through some train of thoughts, his human brain is the only thing still intact from the murder of his family and maybe he could learn to overcome the mental fear and anger he suffered back then.
"So, are you finish with the bathroom?" Musashi asked.
"Just about to." Genos answered immediately.
(With Miriam, Yurei, Naomasa, and Ka)
"Whee! Go higher, Ka! Higher!" Yurei laughed excitedly while flying on Ka's back.
"Can't, your mommy Miriam said I can't fly higher than this because she doesn't want to lose sight of us." Ka pointed out before making a loop.
Miriam and Naomasa are on the ground watching the little white and blue hair girl riding on the big mutant mosquito girl, they can tell Yurei is having some real fun up there.
"If I didn't know anything about, I think the blood sucking girl is falling for that little angel." Naomasa commented with a teasing smirk.
"Oh yes, Yurei has that affect on anyone she meets, and the little angel never stops being pure." Miriam giggled.
"But I gotta admit, I never thought I would involve myself with people who are still in high school and yet have an adopted daughter." Naomasa said, finding this a bit strange.
"Yes, we have gotten that a lot whenever some people ask about our daughter." Miriam said as they continue down the street.
"So, how did you end up adopting that little ghostly angel in the first place?" Naomasa asked curiously.
"Oh, that's quite the story to tell. It was about eleven months after Azuma has gotten his powers and we were enjoying ourselves in a nice walk through the city for our date." Miriam started explaining the tale of how Yurei came into their lives.

Azuma and Miriam are going together to the park of the city and just entered through the gate to enjoy their peaceful times together outside.
"This day just feels great, don't you think?" Miriam asked smiling.
"I think so too, I bet we something amazing is going to happen soon." Azuma smiled back.
But suddenly something bumps onto Azuma's leg and then falls onto Miriam's lap with a soft panting voice, the couple were confused of what just happened until they look down to see a little girl clinching onto her skirt almost like she doesn't want to let them go.
"Excuse me, young lady, is everything okay?" Miriam asked.
"Please… Please don't let him take me." The girl begged.
"What do you mean take you, and who's he?" Azuma asked as he gently took the girl off from Miriam.
The little girl turns out to be Yurei from a little over two years ago looking a little dirty with a tiny bruise under her left eye and her hair is messy like she hasn't wash it in months.
"Whoa, you have a tail?" Yurei asked shock when seeing the monkey tail.
"Yeah, the tail is real and believe it or not, I'm the strongest monkey boy you will ever meet!" Azuma bragged.
"That is if he doesn't freak out whenever over there's a rat coming." Miriam teased with that little memory.
"Hey! It jumped onto my back from a restaurant it was kicked out of. And just to remind you that the rat was three times bigger than a normal rat!" Azuma pointed out.
"Maybe so, but that doesn't mean you haven't gotten over your fears of jellyfishes." Miriam teased again with another embarrassing memory.
"I was six back then and the endless strings was very haunting for a child to go through for eight hours." Azuma stated with his face turning red of embarrassment.
Seeing the two older kids talking about embarrassing memories has made the girl laugh from this and hugs onto Azuma which got his attention, this made him smile that he is glad to have made this little girl happy.
"Are you feeling better now?" Azuma asked.
"Yes." Yurei nodded.
"So, do you have a name, little girl?" Miriam asked.
"Yurei." Yurei answered.
"Now Yurei, I hope you don't mind me asking but who is this he you're talking about?" Azuma asked, but the question has made Yurei cry again and clinches onto him.
"He's… He's a bad man wanted to me to go away with some people far away so he can get money and… and those people were going to be horrible things to me." Yurei explained, sobbing with tears about to come out.
Azuma and Miriam look at each other with great concerns for the girl as they can see this must be a cruel man who treats little girls like her so horribly, and this makes them very angry on the inside.
"I ran away from him during the night so that he wouldn't find me, I don't want to go back to that place." Yurei explained.
"Don't you worry, sweetie. We promise that mean man won't ever hurt you again." Miriam assured as she took Yurei into her arms and cradle her.
"You will?" Yurei asked.
Just then, Azuma started to feel something dark and strong within the park fearing that it could be a monster though he also noticed this feels more human, and this presence is coming this way which could mean one thing.
"Miriam, watch Yurei." Azuma stood up and turned around.
"You spotted a monster?" Miriam asked.
"No, but I believe I'm about to end a nightmare." Azuma said before he flew off which surprises the little girl to see someone flying in the sky.
Hiding behind a few trees, a very large and muscular man with eyes glowing pink eyes and pink wiggling tentacle tattoos on his neck and wearing a dark brown to cover himself some of his face so that nobody would be notice.
"That fucking brat, she's my ticket for a billionaire in most of Japan and enjoy the easy life for the next 20-30 years until I can find the next brat to sell off." The pink-eyed man angered as he looks around.
"Too bad that won't happen because you'll be in jail." Azuma said and suddenly appeared right in front of the man.
"What the fuck?!" The evil man gasped.
And that was the only thing the man could do before Azuma threw a powerful punch in the stomach and tackle him down, and then Azuma starts throwing a barrage of savage punches causing the man to scream for only five seconds and couldn't scream anymore.
"Oh my, it looks like something extreme has happened and the one on top is handsome!" Kimi walked toward the danger.
(Present)
"Azuma stopped himself from killing the evil man so that he can be taken into prison while on very thin ice with the remaining life he has and life support system." Miriam mentioned as they walk together.
"Now I suddenly feel like I want to kill that man." Naomasa commented.
"And after that, we found out Yurei doesn't have any record including anything about his birth parents. So, we decided to take in her as our very own daughter." Miriam smiled.
"I'm surprised your parents even approve to be parents at a young age." Naomasa said.
"They were against it at first when we told them at first, but they quickly come to warm up to the girl and decided to have her become our family. Best thing that ever happened to us." Miriam smiled.
"Momma, we're back!" Yurei called out as Ka lands back close to them.
"Hi sweetie, did you enjoy your flight?" Miriam asked as she caught Yurei after she jumps down from the mosquito woman.
"Yep, it was fun and why is there a walking seaweed man over there?" Yurei asked pointing at the seaweed monster.
The three turn to see Kombu Infinity walking into the street and looked around trying to find something worthwhile.
"Huh, it is literally a walking seaweed man." Ka surprised.
"And unfortunately, that is an evil monster, and he needs to be dealt with soon." Miriam stated, sensing some evil emotions in that monster.
"Let me handle this. I've been looking for a good opportunity to test out the new upgrades and fighting power since the first time Genos fought Mosquito Girl and some other monsters after that." Naomasa volunteered as she steps forward and patted her robotic right arm.
"Do you really think you arm is stronger since then?" Ka asked.
"Trust me, you'll see." Naomasa smirked.
"Hey, the ugly sea man with the bad hair day!" Naomasa shouted getting Kombu Infinity's attention.
"Oh, looks like I found people here and one monster who does not appear to be killing those humans too." Kombu Infinity confused on that last part.
"Don't worry, you won't have to know about that once you're dead." Naomasa smirked as the three fingers of the robot arm instantly becomes razor sharp blades.
"Hey, are you by any chance one of those heroes that lives in this city I've been hearing about because it would be cool to kill them and make myself a powerful monster." Kombu Infinity smirked with his seaweed tentacle moving.
"No, I just moved here not too long ago. And that's the only thing you're going to get in this town." Naomasa stated as she starts read to fight this monster.
Kombu Infinity unleash his tentacle seaweeds at the girl while she charges forward the fastest, she can muster with her legs, and swing her claws to clash against the seaweed tentacles and surprise to see how tough those seaweeds are almost like they are steel.
"Bet you thought you were going to cut me down into sushi like that!" Kombu Infinity mocked as lashes his seaweed tentacles at the girl.
Naomasa quickly moves her robot arm around to slash against the seaweed tentacles and parry them away as she tries to get in closer, but it's proven to be very difficult with how aggressive and fast his attacks are laying onto her.
She quickly moves one foot away from the spot to avoid one seaweed impaling the ground.
"You're gonna have to do better than that if you want to shake me up!" Kombu Infinity laughed mocking the hero girl.
"Oh, well, thank you for giving me the idea." Naomasa smirked and took out her pipe to insert it onto the tiny hole of the round shoulder, twist it like a key and the claws have started to vibrate slightly.
"What's that supposed to be? To make your arm do something lame?" Kombu Infinity insulted.
"Hey! Her arm is the coolest thing you'll ever see!" Yurei cheered.
"Thanks kid, and now to give you a taste of my arm giving you a haircut!" Naomasa charged forward to finish this monster.
"Like those things could do anything to me!" Kombu Infinity unleashed his seaweed tentacles at her again and this time, he's going to tear her into little pieces.
However, this did not work out like he had thought when Naomasa's claws managed to slice through the steel-hard seaweed tentacles clean into pieces and wonder if she made her claws stronger somehow.
"Looks like we might be getting some seaweed tonight!" Naomasa smirked with a scary look in her eyes.
This scares Kombu Infinity as he tries to attack her again only for her to slice through his attack and made it all the way to him as she unleashes a slash right above the head and through the neck causing the head to fall.
"Yay! You did it!" Yurei cheered.
"Not bad, Jizurisuzaku, you did excellent against that monster which happens to be a Tiger Level." Miriam mentioned.
"Oh great, are you enough bitch for that monkey brat?" Tatsumaki asked, revealing herself above them.
"Oh, hello Tatsumaki, it's so nice to see you again." Miriam greeted friendly.
"Hi! Are you here to become another mama?" Yurei asked causing Tatsumaki to flinch a bit.
"Shut up! I'm not here for that! I just came by to see if the brat is keeping up with his hero work and not slacking off on anything else." Tatsumaki proclaimed with her cheeks blushing.
(Later)
"Wow, it's great to see you again, Tatsumaki! I was hoping we can have a talk about my rising in ranks and you being okay with that." Azuma smiled as everyone sat at the table for dinnertime.
"Don't you dare go bragging on about that unless you want me to kill you!" Tatsumaki blushed angrily.
"A-Anyway, did you hear from HQ? Some of the guys in suits are having heroes do some investigation about the strange increase showings of monsters around here and the other cities." Tatsumaki informed.
"I heard about that; we're trying to figure out where these monsters are truly coming from. Either a mad scientist is creating the powerful monsters or there's a queen birthing her kins." Masazumi mentioned those theories.
"Wow, either of those things sound crazy." Kimi commented.
"Hopefully it's not the mad scientist thing because I am so not down with that." Ka exclaimed, speaking from experience.
"Actually, those theories came from a hero I had a run in earlier. Spring Mustachio." Masazumi mentioned a Class-A Hero.
"It's definitely a big mystery, but I have faith that we heroes will do everything we can to protect the world and the people we care for!" Azuma believed strongly with a hand on Tatsumaki's shoulder.
"I see you're still being a sappy as always." Tatsumaki muttered.
"Dinner is ready." Musashi announced as she sat down a big pot of seaweed stew. She asked earlier where they got the seaweed, and Miriam informed everyone about Naomasa defeating a Tiger level monster which is pretty amazing.

Well, that seaweed monster certainly had a fun and short time on the surface before becoming dinner for the heroes, and we even got to learn about how Yurei met Azuma and Miriam from years ago along with Kimi who showed up at the end of the flashback.
