(Mom's distinct three-horn honk is suddenly heard. Candace and the boys look as they see her station wagon pulling up.)
Candace: Mom?
Linda: Candace? Boys? What in the world is going on here?
Candace: ok Mom I know how this look but trust me this is not boys's fault
Linda: Candace…
Candace: no let me finish! Now I know that the things that boys have done would be considered dangerous and I can agree on some of that, but that is part of who they are, you know! They thrill for the excitement they want to achieve the impossible and they want to expand whatever ideas they have on them.
Linda: Candace…
Candace: and the fact you have to limit their skills really puts a wrench on their critique like you downgraded them. And that is just not right. All the boys ever want to do is to bring fun to everyone and quite frankly see them not doing that anymore it just…not right so please Mom, let them be who they are, because if they aren't, they would not be able to save this town (Linda look around the scenery and see the destruction, though it could've been worse, then she seen the human prisoners have been reunite with their friends and family and they talking about their experience, then she turn her attention back to her daughter)
Linda: are you done now Candace? Because i like to talk to the boys
Candace: (sigh) fine (she stood aside)
Linda: now boys, your father and I got into talking and I want to say what you have done through multiple summers may not have led through any mischievous act, I trust you enough to know that I may have been harsh about before is just that…I just don't want to see another tragedy happen in this family, even though you say you did safety precaution you'll never know that a simple mistake could lead to casualties
Phineas: I know
Linda: but you clearly been shown enough about what could have lead….and so I decided to disregard the limit of your skills
The others: wait what?
Linda: yes you heard me, You boys are free to continue building your inventions however you do it and having fun, (the boys started to smile) but remember your sister still need to supervise you and before you do your thing, I want you two to give me a complete rundown of what you do each day, which includes showing me photos and/or blueprints of your projects.
The others: of course
Linda: As long as you respect those rules, you're allowed to keep building your projects. (she then felt two forms quickly hugging her, one of them quite literally crashing into her and nuzzling her stomach.)
Phineas: Yes, we promise ! We promise on everything we ever made ! Thanks mom, you're the best (Ferb said nothing, but tightened his grateful embrace.)
Linda: Boys, I want to say that even though I am surprised, I'm also very proud of you two. I mean saving the town from an alien invasion? Now that's something a mother cannot say often about her sons' accomplishments. And I'm sure from above, your father must have been proud of what you did. From now on, you'll have my support, and I hope I'll be able to see more of those amazing things you two can make. (Everyone smiled at the sweetness of the scene before them. Some could even feel tears coming up, something that Buford would once again deny upon his very soul. After a minute or two, mother and sons broke the hug, still beaming. Phineas gone to his sister)
Phineas: Hey sis I want to say thank you for being by my side when we were in trouble, despite the fact you tried to bust me and Ferb before, you are still willing to help us.
Candace: of course, you and Ferb are my brothers, I always look out for you, even though I got into some crazy shenanigans because of you two, when I think about it, most of them could have gone way better if I hadn't tried to bust you two so hard.( rubbing the back of her long neck.) Also, I have seen that I've been a little... Okay, a LOT unfair to you two. I've yelled and pushed you away so many times. I guess I was... jealous of what you guys could do at such a young age. It made me think that all I could ever do is pale in comparison to your wondrous feats.
Phineas: Why? You're awesome ! You're one of the bravest and coolest people we know ! Besides, it's always more fun when you decide to join in, even if it's just to bust us. ( Ferb nod.)
Candace: (felt her eyes moisturizing again, but kept going) Yeah, but I guess I was too prideful to try getting on board with your games and fun. Heck, there were some things I wished I had participated in.
Phineas: We can just rebuild some of them this Summer.
Candace: That would be great. (she wrapping them in a tight sibling hug. She did not care one bit about the 'awws' emmited by the others.)
Baljeet: We get to have fun this Summer !(, joined by Buford and Isabella. The trio celebrated with the inventive duo, while Candace went back with her own friends, who looked both proud of her, Linda sighed in relief, knowing her job here was done. She felt her husband putting his hand on her shoulder, and pulling her closer to him.
Lawrence: Well, quite the happy end I'll say. ( rubbing his wife's shoulder affectionately).
Linda: (smiled, and put his head on his own shoulder.) You really think I was right to let them continue like so ?
Lawrence: Oh, I'm sure they'll be fine. Like I said before, those boys are smart and resourceful, and well surrounded I might add. You did marvelous darling.
Linda: And so did you for help assuring on it. (giving him a peck on the cheek.) Phew, what a day this has been. Right now, I just want us to enjoy a nice family pizza dinner, and call it a day.
Candace: That'll be nice, we will catch up to you guys, we just need to do one ast thing.
Linda: alright see you at home, (they got in the car and drove away)
Phineas: You know, this morning I thought things will never be the same again. It's amazing how an afternoon of blasting aliens, foiling villains, and giant plant monster can really change your perspective.
Candace: yea but look around now Phineas people are appreciate you again (camera pan to see everyone cheering for them except for Thaddeus and Thor, with the former muttering "whatever")
Phineas: yea but whats really important is that with you guys by our side, then things will be okay (Isabella kiss his cheek)
