Disclaimer: I do not own anyone or anything from Gossip Girl!
Chuck's POV-
"What do you mean there has been an error in my search? All I was told I would have to do was type in the url. Refresh? There is no refresh button. Oh computer, you and I have a problem. Do you have any idea who I am? I'm Chuck Bass! The only son of Bart Bass and future leader of the vampire council. Don't you sit there beeping at damn it, just do what I want!" It had reached the point where I was ready to throw my recently purchased laptop computer.
The only reason I had bought it was because lately everyone had been wondering about this Gossip Girl and what secrets she could scare up about the 'newbies' which were me, Carter, and Georgina obviously. If this mystery person was snooping around for secrets in my life, then I would have to keep on eye out incase something was exposed that shouldn't be. Plus, if I ever got this computer up and running properly that is, I would be able to find out more about Blair and her past. Knowing everything I could about the people I was constantly surrounded by would be a very good thing. It's better to know about your enemies than them knowing about you.
"Yes, finally!" I cheered as the web page finally loaded up. I knew that I was on the right page when I took a good look.
'Gossip Girl' was splayed across the top in big flashy lettering. On the side of the page there was a list of things you could like view the spotted map, polls, proof of suspected rumors, and history. There were other things as well, but I went to history. The good thing about this section was I could narrow down my search if I typed in a name. I typed my name in first and surprisingly 29 results showed up. Three of them were adds from 'Gossip Girl' offering a reward for any information about yours truly, seven were reviews on Victrola and they were all good reviews, and most of the others spoke of what little was known about my father and I like the fact we came from what they considered to be 'new money' which is kind of ironic if you think about. There was one though title 'Blair and Chuck Chuck and Blair' and I found myself clicking on the link out of pure curiosity.
A picture of us together dancing at her party popped up and at under that was a small, one paragraph article. 'Our Queen and the Dark Knight seem to have chemistry, does this mean someone is going to be burned? I wonder if our King Nathaniel is a little sizzled about this. How does it feel when the tables are turned Archibald? Check in regularly for updates on this developing relationship. You know you love me, XOXO, Gossip Girl.'
After I read that article, I typed in Blair Waldorf and hundreds of entries popped up. I scanned a few of the stories, but it wasn't anything eye catching. An hour later I had learned that she wanted to attend Yale, her father had left her mother for one of the male models, and there was a period of a few months were Blair had been missing and 'Gossip Girl' never had figured out where she had gone. Everything else I had already known. Shutting down the computer I decided that was enough for one day. I had added alerts to my phone about any new posts. It was easier to keep up this way instead of logging on to the site each day and searching for new posts.
After I shut down my computer I decided to search for Serena because I was hungry. Going after another girl seemed like effort. I tried to sense her heart beet and I found it in her room. Getting off the bed I walked the short distance to her bedroom and walked in without bothering to knock since I never knocked. I did find Serena, but that wasn't the only person I found; Dan Humphrey was with her and luckily they were kissing and nothing more since I was in no mood to see the Brooklyn bums ass.
"Chuck!" Serena screamed since she was the first to notice my presence standing in the doorway. "Can't you see I am in the middle of something? Get out of my room or at the very least knock first."
"Okay." I took a step back and knocked lightly on the doorframe before entering her room for the second time. "I actually came to see if you wanted to have a movie marathon, (Code for I want a pint or two of your blood) but I can see that you are busy I will let you get back to that though I need to borrow your boyfriend for a few minutes. We have guy things to talk about. It won't take very long and then you can get back to your little make out session."
"Fine!" She huffed in obvious frustration. "Take Dan and talk, just get out of my room!"
I watched as Humphrey stood up and walked in my direction. It was easy to see that he was curious as to why I wanted to speak with him. The truth was we needed to set rules concerning this city. I wanted to make it clear that there was no way I was going to stop feeding from my soon to be stepsister, his girlfriend, and if he wanted me to stop then he would have to make me by way of challenge. It wasn't as if he even had a remote chance of winning since he'd never had formal training and I since it was mandatory in our world. The only reason he and his sister lacked the training was because they chose to live in the human world. This was going to be and interesting discussion, especially since I wanted to see if I could ruffle his feathers any.
