Morning of the First Day, Loop 3.
"Alright Nezumi! Let me tell you this! YOU SUCK SO F*CKING MUCH!" Cher yelled, him being tired was obvious, "Why are you so mad." Nezumi asked sarcastically, "Screw you!" Cher responded as plopped down on Nezumi's head to take a breather, "Maybe I should try to help people out this loop..." Nezumi pondered, "That's a good idea actually, you could even note down steps you need to take in case you can't finish a task in just one loop." The Salesman suggested, "Then it's decided! Maybe we could deal with that... Hand... First?" Nezumi suggested, "Are you crazy?" Cher asked, "What hand?" The Salesman asked, "There's this hand coming out of the... Toilet... In the inn, and it wants toilet paper." Cher explained, "Must be a ghost with some unfinished buisness... Literally in this case, just give it the paper, I think any will do at this point..." The Salesman instructed, "So help a ghost take a sh*t... Great." Nezumi said with sarcasm.
At the Inn.
Nezumi opened the door to the bathroom, "Hello? I have paper for you~ ...Hello? Anyone there?" she asked, looking into the toilet to see where the hand was, "Where is it?" She questioned, "Maybe it just appears at night?" Cher hypothesised, "Okay... So let's go do something else while we wait for night." Nezumi thought as she exited the inn and saw the post office, "Might as well do some community service." Nezumi thought as she went to it.
In The Post Office.
"Hello? Thought I might help sort the letters?" Nezumi said as she entered, "Oh thank you! But since you're helping me, you need a hat." The Postman said as he gave Nezumi a red hat, "Alright so where do I start?" Nezumi asked as she put the hat on.
Night of the First Day.
"Okay... That should be everything..." Nezumi said, panting due to how surprisingly draining that was, "And it is! Thank you fo your help! You can keep the hat if you want." The Postman offered, "I wasn't expecting to get a hat out of this honestly, thanks." Nezumi responded, "Hey! It's night!" Cher informed, "Oh my!" Nezumi exclaimed as she rushed to the inn.
Back at the Inn.
Quickly going to the bathroom, Nezumi saw the hand in the toiled and handed it the paper, "Ho! You saved me!" The hand said as it went back in the toilet, before coming back out holding a purple root, "Here take this, it looked pretty valuable." The hand said as it dropped the root on the floor and disappeared, "Toilet vegetables... Great..." Cher cheered sarcastically, "Delicious..." Nezumi added to the sarcasm, but she was wondering what this could ever be used for.
East Maelstrom Town.
"I guess we've done all we could?" Cher commented, "There was... Surprisingly little to do here, at least little counting what we can do now..." Nezumi noted as she looked around until she noticed something peculiar, "Is that a mirror?" She asked and indeed there was a mirror on the wall of the inn, "That doesn't make any sense, maybe it's a window." Cher suggested as he flew over to the mirror and getting closer he saw that it wasn't just a window, "It's a mirror alright." Cher confirmed, "There's no reason this should be here, they must have washed it and put it to dry." Nezumi deduced, "Outside? Where it would get dirty again? Aside from the fact that it's sparkling." Cher dismissed, "Yeah, you're right." Nezumi nodded.
Getting closer to the mirror, Nezumi noticed something, the reflection didn't match what it should be reflecting, "Is this some kind of prank?" Nezumi muttered as she moved her hand to touch the mirror, only to have it phase through as if it was water, "...I didn't even consider that a possibility, honestly I'm stumped." Cher admitted, Nezumi pulled her hand out of the mirror and her hand was missing, "OH SHIVA!" Nezumi yelled before her hand reappeared and she sighed in relief, "Okay... Let's just go in..." Nezumi relented, Cher was about to voice his disapproval, but Nezumi grabbed him and jumped through the mirror.
Morning of the Second Day.
Reverberated Maelstrom Town.
Falling to the floor, everything was different, the sky was purple, there are will-o'-wisps floating around, the plants are distorted and the people are lagging, not to count that they have no faces, "Oh... What?" Nezumi and Cher blanked at the sight, getting up, it was clear that no one really acknowledge them, "This is freaky..." Nezumi commented, "Absurd you mean..." Cher corrected, they started walking around, trying to get someone's attention, but no one made any movement, they seemed to just follow a routine, "I don't think they're alive, by the usual sense at least." The Pixie commented, "It's surreal to be honest." Nezumi noted trying to figure out exactly what was going on, "Maybe we could try going into buildings, something might be different." Cher suggested.
West Reverberated Maelstrom Town.
"Let's try the post office first." Nezumi told Cher as she grabbed the handle and opened the door, only to be met by a giant letter that stated 'Sorry, the Post Office is only open from 8:00 to 20:00', "Well that's a thing." Cher said with his eyes widened, "Let's try someplace else!" Nezumi exclaimed, "The curiosity shop should be open at this hour." Cher informed, "Perfect, lead the way!" Nezumi instructed.
Outside Reverberated Curiosity Shop.
Now at the entrance of the shop, Nezumi opened the door and was met by the most horrifying eldritch horror holding a mask that's no less unsettling, Nezumi grabbed the mask and slowly closed the door, "Let's leave." She quickly said to which Cher had no objections.
Reverberated Inn.
"Here's the mirror! Let's-!" Nezumi quickly stopped when she realized there was something in the mirror, some kind of twisted reflection, she saw herself, but with a straight jacket and a muzzle, it wasn't even clear if it was actually a reflection, cause it was twitching as if disturbed by something, and behind it was also the real Maelstrom Town, Nezumi tried putting a hand in the mirror, the reflection did the same and when they both touched the mirror and got pulled into it, Nezumi finding herself back at the real Maelstrom, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!?" Nezumi screamed in a panic.
