Blair's POV-
Shopping always made me feel better if I was having a bad day and lucky for me it still had that affect. Serena and I were in Macy's trying on different hats and sunglasses. Some of the stuff we tried on was absolutely horrible, but that is the reason we had such a great time, because we were free to act as silly and carefree as we wanted without having to worry about acting the way everyone expected us to. Shopping was one of the only times I felt like I could be myself, well except for when I am around Chuck Bass, but I have been trying my best to forget that little fact.
"B, I am going to look at the tops, so head over there when you're finished here okay?" My blond best friend smiled and tilted the head on my hat sideways before disappearing in the other direction.
I had decided to look at the hats for a little while longer because they had pretty nice selection and I wanted to get a couple since it had been a while since I had a new hat. I would of course also be looking at headbands since that was my trademark and everyone knew it. It was while browsing that something in the corner of my eye caught my attention and I twisted my head around to make sure I had seen what I thought I saw was real and not a figment of my imagination. when I realized that what I had seen wasn't a figment of my imagination and indeed real, I let out a sigh of annoyance. Could I not even shop now without running in to the one man I really didn't want or need to see? I suppose the old saying 'karma is a bitch' rang true in certain situations.
Chuck Bass, the bane of my existence, was standing near a shelf full of scarves pretending to be lost in thought, when in all reality he was actually looking at me when he thought I couldn't see him. What was he even doing here? It couldn't be a coincidence that he was here, it didn't feel right. This was planned; he must have followed me here, but why? I intended to find out and if Bass was smart he would be honest with me, because I had to deal with a lot of crap today and I was nearing my breaking point which did not happen often, but when it did, well let's just say it is not pleasant for those around me at that time.
"What the hell are you doing here Bass?" I snapped as I strode towards him with determination behind my every movement. "Shouldn't you be off with one of your whores?"
"Why would I be with anyone else when I can bathe in your company?" His smirk made me want to slap him and yet I managed to hold my urge in knowing it would do no good. "Besides, I have something that will cheer you up."
Ha! The very idea he thought he could have anything I would want was rather amusing. "I highly doubt that unless it's Georgina's head in a box."
"What I have is better." He replied while reaching in to his left pocket and pulling out some folded pictures and handing them to me. "I heard about what happened today and I know you said you didn't want my help, but I remembered I had these and I figured they would do you more good than they would me. Use them if you want or don't use them, the choice is up to you. My only request is if you do use them, leave my name out of it."
Unfolding the pictures I could feel a smile forming on my face. The pictures were disgusting and vulgar, but at the same time they were perfect and just what I needed to get revenge on Georgina Sparks for what she had done. All of the pictures showed my rival in various states of undress with a variety of different men. "These are great Bass, they are exactly what I needed. As much as I hate to say this, thank you. This doesn't mean we are friends or anything, but still, thank you for this and before you decide to tell me, no, I would rather not know how or why you have these pictures; never tell me."
"Lets just say that I know a lot of people who would rather do what I ask of them than risk facing my wrath." His head tilted slightly to the side as he look me up and down slowly. "If you want to thank me then don't do it with words. I am sure you could come up with a more pleasurable way to show your gratitude."
Hearing his comment, my mood immediately turned sour as I sent a fiery glare his way. "You really know how to ruin the mood don't you?"
He shrugged while running his tongue over his bottom lip in a way meant to get my attention and it did, but I was not about to let him know that. "It's a talent I've always had. Well I should let you get back to your shopping Waldorf, but if you change your mind about thanking me in a nonverbal way, you know where to find me."
I made a noise of disgust and rolled my eyes. "Never going to happen Bass so don't hold your breath."
His reply was swift as he reached out to touch my chin with two fingers. "Good thing I have no need for breath then. Besides, a man can always dream and I know sooner or later you will no longer be able to resist my charms. I'll see you at dinner tonight, in case you did not know, your mother invited my father and Lily over to have dinner with you and since Bart Bass likes to fool the world in to thinking he is a good father, he has insisted Eric, Serena, and myself attend as well."
