A/N: hola amigos. I am sorry for several things. One is that I haven't been on top of things lately. Another is that I have deleted Complicated Love. It's just...it had a good plot, but I felt like Kori was way too OOC. She should be like Starfire and give that Star vibe, y'know?
LDH! LDH! Let's get coo-coo!
Disclaimer: I don't own teen titans. If I did, I would seriously be having this shit on blast.

Chapter 16: Will you go with me to homecoming?
It was all a big pile of ash and broken building materials. The sky was dark like Fang's mood, and it seemed the red X spray painted across the ruins only seemed to ignite the fire more. He didn't expect for his base to be burnt down by some low life scum. I mean, sure he knew that he was under attack, but this? The warehouse that was once his hideout was now a pile of ash that reminded him of his hatred. Who was Red X and what was his problem?
"Red X, huh? Who the hell does this bastird think he is?!"
"Calm down Fang! You don't need to go all rampage on me!"
Freddie Parker turned to his ally and chunked a large brick at him. Alex dodged the brick and glared at his gang's leader.
"Adonis!" Freddie called. Alex again turned to Fang after realizing he was being called by his nickname.
"Yeah Fang?"
"Are there any witnesses to the Red X fire? Does anybody have any leads on this damn guy who comes out of nowhere and burns down my fucking warehouse?! My product! My customers! MY MONEY! ALL OF IT IS GONE!" Fang screamed.
"I-I think Johnny might know something. He works all around this town and sales drugs for all sorts of gangs. Maybe he heard something?" Adonis offered in order to calm down Fang.
Fang paced the wreckage and thought about the idea. Johnny made money for selling drugs from different gangs. He would be able to hear some personal information and get some blackmail if somebody payed him.
"Maybe it was Jason's gang!" Adonis exclaimed bluntly. Fang blinked twice at the comment and thought about it.
"Wait..." Fang spoke, his tone saying that he didn't agree with what Alex had just said. "Jason left town a couple weeks ago."
Alex nodded eagerly. "Yeah! I know that. I'm saying that what if this Red x guy took over for Jason?"
Fang paused at this and took a moment to think about such a thing. It made sense. Jason would never leave his gang to run loose and go rampant about the streets, so he must've put someone in charge. He knew Jason well. Fang was once a member of his gang until he finally realized there was more power then being a second hand man. After realizing that he could be something better, Fang betrayed his gang by sharing their secrets to a rival gang to gain access to join there's. Fang was clever though. Once Fang had joined the new gang, he killed the leader and took over. Fang had expanded the small group and gave more sets of rules and now he was ruling one of the most powerful gangs in the street.
"Xavier!" Fang suddenly declared. Adonis, startled by the conclusion, jumped back.
"Xavier?"
"Yes!" Fang hissed. He turned to Alex and began to rant. "It has to be Xavier. That bastird has been a thorn in my side since I left. He has to be behind all of this because Xavier is the only guy Jason would trust to take over."
"So...Xavier did this?" Adonis asked still confused. Fang turned to him and glared.
"He's our best bet. Get two of the guys to talk with Johnny about it. Johnny will tell us if it's Xavier or not." Fang continued.
"Alright..." Adonis said slowly. He turned to walk away, but something stopped him. Turning back to Fang, he rose an eyebrow. "Fang! What are we going to do if this is Xavier?"
Fang turned back to Alex with the same twisted anger like face he had held all day. He looked at him with a smirk and simply said,"If it's Xavier then we'll just have to crash his little parade..."
. . .
Kori walked into her room with a trail of girls smirking behind. She wasn't happy though. The reason being is that a whole bunch of boys were spying on her slumber party.
Rachel, Artemis, Karen and Jade walked beside their respective boys with their heads shaking. Roy looked timid, Gar looked scared, Dick looked akward, and Wally was a mixture of all three. The rest of the boys were mostly amused as to what the girls were going to do to them. Seriously, they were girls! What's the worst thing they could do?
Karen walked towards the door and locked it. This act alone made Garth and Victor gulp, but the glares that could kill you if looks were allowed made all the boys shiver.
"Alright." Kori began. She leaned carelessly against the bed and pointed an accusing finger. "Who's idea was it to come snoop on us?"
"Ask James Bond over here!" Garth yelled. Wally looked aghast at him and his gasp only helped support his surprise.
"I did not Fish boy! That was freaking Roy! He was the one who was like,"Oh you guys wanna go spy on the girls?" And I just wanted to stay at Dickie-boys house and eat pizza! " Wally exclaimed. Gar recalled the act and walked forward to defend the red head.
"It's true dudes. Wally did want to eat pizza instead of going." Gar announced.
"Seems legit. Alright Wally, you're not the blame, but you're in trouble." Rachel deemed almost like a judge. Wally grinned at her and walked across the room to stand with the girls. Artemis looked at the boy beside her and rose an eyebrow.
"Why are you over here?" Artemis whispered lightly. Wally looked at her and gave a lop-sided grin that could melt hearts.
"I wanted to hang out with you beautiful. Besides, do you want me to hang out with those criminals?"
Artemis scoffed at him and turned to face the rest of the boys. She couldn't help her red face, but she could at lest try to keep that calm demeanor.
"Roy!" Jade yelped. Roy winced at the tone and stepped up.
"Roy." Jade said calmer. She took a deep breath and locked her eyes with his."Do you plead guilty for coming up with the idea to snoop on us girls?"
Shit. Roy groaned loudly in response. He knew he was about to get his butt chewed out. Letting out another groan, the boy nodded.
"Yeah, yeah, I did. I just wanted to see what you girls were doing! That's it!" Roy quickly clarified. Jade exchanged looks with the girls to see if they would take pity on him.
Not a chance.
"Guilty!" Jenn yelled loudly. She grabbed a large book and slammed it on the drawer to make it seem like a hammer in a court room. All of the guys had relieved faces. All except Roy.
"Now, let's give the punishment." Artemis claimed with a smirk.
"Yeah, give him the punishment. We'll just go ahead and have the rest of our boys night out." Victor nervously chuckled. All of the boys slowly backed towards the door and Gar tried to open it.
"Open it! Open it!" Wally screamed when the door wouldn't open. He scrambled quickly to the door and pulled on the doorknob.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You didn't think it was just Roy getting punished, did y'all?"
All male hearts stopped cold at the revelation. Turning, they saw each girl with an evil grin.
This wouldn't turn out good.
. . .
The girls evening was filled with a massive punishment for the boys. Each male having to run across the Jump City Beach as naked as the day they were born. Well, not technically naked, but more like draped in a thin layer of silly string.
What? Payback was a bitch.
Currently all of the girls sat outside on the grassy football field beside the school. School had already ended that day and the boys had left to do 'planning'. None of the girls didn't know what they were planning, but some were just grateful that the opposite gender was gone.
Letting her self-conscious go Rachel dipped into peace, quiet, and tranquility. Her mind warped into the fabric of space, an array of stars surrounding her in the pitch black sky. With crossed legs she sat upon a floating rock. Finding her center she chanted her mantra; Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos. Relaxation spread across her body and she was filled with content.
That is until a plastic arrow slammed into her head.
Rachel looked right and glared at Artemis who held a toy bow and arrow set in her hand. Jade sat beside her sibling and was slapping her knee in laughter at the nervous face her sister made.
"That was a bad shot." Jade giggled, taking the toy away from Artemis. She tossed the device to the side and looked at Rachel again. "Say you're sorry Artemis." Jade teased.
Needless to say, Artemis flushed a bright red,"Sorry for hitting you in the face with an arrow."
"Apology accepted. Don't let it happen again." Rachel replied, closing her eyes and returning to her meditation.
Not only five feet away, Kori and Karen laid side by side on the grass cloud watching. Kori giggled and pointed to a large white cloud in the blue sky.
"Look Bee! That cloud looks like a pirate eating a taco!"
Bee snorted and propped herself up on her elbow, facing Kori. "Girl, you've got one active imagination. Speaking of which, how's your little art classes you've been taking going?"
Ever since Freshman year, Kori had been taking art classes. It started out with her doing random doodles, but her drawing skills became better and better everytime. Needless to say, Kori was quite the artist.
Kori picked herself up and grinned widely. "Bee they're going gloriously! I recently won the western art show for my horse painting."
Karen clapped in happiness and smiled broadly,"I'm happy for you girl! You're really good at art. You could get into some pretty good schools for that."
Kori smiled sheepishly,"I'm not that good..."
Jenn, who had heard everything, leaned up and slapped Kori's elbow. "Shut up Kori! You're freaking amazing at art! You're going to go far in that stuff. I can see it now...you being a famous artist in Paris and paying for my bills that I'm too lazy to pay."
Kori giggled at her. "I don't think I'll pay your bills Jenn."
Jenn smirked,"That's what you think, but wait until that day and watch you'll be as rich and famous as your little boyfriend!"
"Speaking of boyfriends." Jade spoke. "Has Dick asked you out to homecoming yet?"
Kori shook her head,"No, but I have a good feeling he might. He's been sneaky the last few days..."
"Funny, Wally has been too." Artemis added. Rachel stopped her focusing on trying to find zen and joined the conversation.
"Gar too." Rachel admitted.
"Weird..."
Suddenly, a loud trumpet could be heard in the far distance. The girls glanced that way to see all the boys marching down the street with a large purple poster in their hands. Wally was on the right side holding a trumpet in hand and surprisingly playing well at that. Dick stood in the center with a large grin on his face and his hands held behind his back. Gar held the other edge of the poster and played a Spanish guitar making Rachel surprised.
She, nor anyone else knew those two comedians could play instruments well.
"KORI ANDERSON!" Dick yelled, pulling a megaphone seemingly from nowhere.
Kori stood up and was followed by all of the girls curious as she was.
"Richard, what is going on?" She questioned. Dick grinned and walked up to her, the two meeting in the middle of the street.
Pulling out a large beautiful bouquet filled with colorful flowers, Dick crouched down on one knee and handed her the flowers. Kori shakily took the flowers and watched with glossy eyes as Dick gave her the most charming and breath takingly smile she had ever seen.
"Kori Anders," he began. Wally blew his trumpet and Connor along with the rest of the boys turned the poster around to reveal a beautiful sign. The lilac colored poster was covered in glittering stars and had large cursive deep purple writing that said one thing: 'Will you go to homecoming with me?'
Kori ignored the cooing that came from Wally and the girls and stared deep into Richard's beautiful blue eyes. She felt like crying.
Nodding her head, she whispered, "Yes."
"Yes?" Dick asked standing to meet her eye level. Kori nodded enthusiastically and assured him with an even louder,'yes.'
The couple embraced and the friends all looked on in happiness as they shared a passionate kiss.
A little too passionate at that. Like, wow there was a sweet kiss and now it was a full blown out makeout session.
Gar and Wally looked at eachother uncomfortably.
Wally looked back at Dick and said the one thing that crossed his mind that would hopefully not wreck this romantic moment.
"YO DICK! STOP TRYING TO EAT KORI'S FACE!"
. . .
Homecoming was this Friday and she still didn't have a date.
Rachel never really minded not being alone, but after that day at the carnival with Gar, things got confusing.
She sorta had a crush on him now.
Rachel sat in biology class and watched him across the room talk with that girl Terra. Terra laughed and placed a hand on Gar's shoulder and Rachel nearly snapped the pencil she was holding in her hands.
Nobody touched her man.
She took a deep breath and drastically calmed down. Who needed Gar anyways? She had a nice life. Gar was a great friend, she lived in Kori's beautiful home now, she didn't have to see her dad anymore, her friends were all supportive.
Life was great, but there was still that scratching at the back of her mind that said she could have more.
Ugh, boys were confusing.
Gar walked towards Rachel with a nervous smile on his face. It was now or never.
He sat beside her and gave her a goofy grin. She looked amused, but not as bored as usual. That was good.
Gar picked up his dark green backpack from the floor and pulled out a box. Placing the box on the lab table, he moved it closer for Rachel.
She looked at the Green Tea box surprised. Why did he have Tea? Gar didn't drink Tea. "What's with the tea?"
Gar sat up in his seat again and smiled,"It's for you. Open it."
She looked hesitant, but her curiosity got the best of her. Slowly, she opened the box and saw small tea packets scattered inside. She saw a sparkle and grabbed the foreign object to see it was a small silver necklace. A locket at that. She felt her jaw drop when she looked at it.
It was beautiful.
The silver chain was thin and the small little locket was a heart shaped thing covered in a small amethyst diamond that was studded in the middle. She glanced at the other side to be shocked further more when she saw that the word 'Rae' was carved on it in cursive.
She opened the locket and saw a picture that made her smile. It was one of her and him at the carnival and the other was a recent picture tooken at one of Victor and Dick's football games.
She was smiling in both.
"Gar, this is beautiful..." She mummered softly. He smiled and clumsily pulled out a crumpled piece of paper from his back pocket. She looked at him questioningly while he looked at her and read.
"Raven, the first time I saw you, I knew it was true, that I'd love you forever and that's what I'll do. You don't know what you do to me, you don't have a clue, you don't know what it's like to be me looking at you..."
Speechless. Utterly stunned and completely amazed right now.
Gar looked on at her and watched carefully as she swallowed and looked at him. "Gar..." She said breathlessly. "Did you make that?"
He nodded and grabbed her hand. "Raven it's been forever since we've been friends. I've kinda had a huge crush on you for like ever dude, and I can't help myself. You're smart, totally cool, and beautiful. "
She blushed,"I'm not beautiful..."
He tightened his grip softly on her hand forcing her to look at him. "Yes you are Rachel. You're so beautiful and it kinda hurts me that you can't see what everyone else does."
She smiled at him and watched as he grinned back.
"Um Rachel, can you go with me to homecoming?" Gar asked feeling his heart swell in anticipation at her reaction. He had planned all of this for so long and couldn't think that he'd face rejection.
She looked at him stunned. "Are you kidding me?" She sounded a bit strained. He looked down dejected. "Gar." She began. "You are the cheesiest, most goofiest man probably alive."
He felt his heart clench at this. Oh, she wasn't finished.
She paused and slowly smiled at him. "But Gar you are the most sweetest and caring guy I've ever met. I will defineltly go with you to homecoming. "
Gar had never imagined that this moment would be one of the happiest days of his life.
...
Wally sat in the cafeteria not even eating his food. His usual confidence was at an all time low. He couldn't help it if he was nervous on asking a certain girl out. It was just... Well girls were scary!
Victor had asked Bee out at last weeks football game, Roy and Jade were all lovey dovey this entire week so no doubt they were hooked, Kori and Dick were just perfect together, Gar and Rachel finally grouped up and the rest of the guys and girls were just going solo.
No, not Wally. The Wall-Man had a date set in mind.
He watched her across the table and looked at her with a goofy grin that only a love strucked idiot got. He didn't know where or when he had fallen, but he was head over heels in love with this girl now.
Artemis absently twirled a blonde hair and watched Connor and Victor arm wrestle over the table. She was content actually, not expecting much.
Wally abruptly stood from the table making his chair squeak in the process. Everyone glanced at him and wondered what was going on.
"You okay Wally?" Dick asked, concern evident in his voice. Wally chuckled at him.
"Yup just have to get something off my chest."
When Wally said that, nobody expected him to take off his shirt. Girls close by ogled a bit at his lean muscular body and watched as a confident smirk crossed his face.
Wally pulled a marker out of his bag and wrote on his left hand the word 'yes' and on the right he wrote the word 'no'.
Artemis and the rest of the girls watched confusingly as Wally pulled out a small toy bow and arrow set and a large box of pizza. He handed the toy to Artemis and opened the box to show the pizza inside.
Artemis snorted at what she saw. Inside was a large cheese pizza and written on the top of the box was,"Will you go to homecoming with me or is this too cheesy?"
She giggled at this and looked at him with the bow and arrow now in her hands.
"Why'd you take off your shirt? We just needed to see your hands." Roy asked. Wally smirked at him.
"Chicks dig my hot bod dude."
Artemis was lying if she said she didn't drool at the sight behold of her. Oh, she was looking at something delicious and it wasn't the pizza.
Thinking of going with the big goof to homecoming was kinda nice. Her aim was true as she shot at his palms and hit her target.
Wally looked down and widened his eyes at what he saw.
Yes! She said yes!
Wally grinned widely and ran to Artemis's side and scooped her up in one swift motion. She was against hugs, but dammit Wally West.
She hugged him and he gave her a big wet kiss on the cheek making her laugh.
Guess homecoming was going to be fun.
