Chuck POV-
How dare Blair Waldorf kick me out after what I had done for her! Who did she think she was? Did she not remember who I happened to be? Had she forgotten not only who I was, but what I was as well? I had saved her life and she repaid me by kicking me out of her house? If it weren't for me she would be dead and in the live forever kind of way that I was. Then she had the nerve to avoid me all weekend. Well she couldn't avoid me today because it was monday and monday meant school day so whether she wanted to or not, Blair would have to talk to me today because there were only so many places she could hide. No way for her to avoid me today and I wouldn't have to worry about Georgina or Carter since Bart had taken them hunting since he wanted to be sure they didn't slip up and kill a human. Neither of them had the best control and we couldn't have them causing a scene with needless death.
As I stepped out of the limo, my eyes automatically looked for Blair on the steps she used as her throne. For the first time since meeting Blair and attending school with her, she wasn't there. Had the queen of Constance really skipped school in order to avoid me? It didn't seem her style, but what other reason could there be to explain her absence here today? Perhaps I should take a day off as well in order to find Blair and make her talk to me. She needed to learn her place and she also needed a lesson in who and what I was. The human world was making me soft, but no more. It was about time I showed my true colors.
Just as I was getting ready to get back in to the limo and head over to Blairs place, a car pulled up and out stepped Blair, but it was a Blair I had never seen before and by the looks others were giving her, it was a first for them as well. She had altered her school uniform so the skirt was a good inch and a half shorter than normal, her top had also been altered so it showed about a half an inch of her stomach whenever she moved. Her hair had been piled on top of her head and her makeup was darker than I had ever seen it with more blues, purples, and black. Around her throat she wore a ruby choker and dark sunglasses covered her eyes blocking out the bright sunlight. It wasn't just her appearance that had changed either, she had this air about her, a confidence she had lacked before. The way she walked oozed power and control, something she hadn't shown before. She had changed and I was probably the only person who knew the reason why; it had been my blood, our bond was growing and the brunette female had started to take on some vampire traits, though I couldn't be sure what traits she had until I had the chance to talk to her and get a better look.
I knew she wasn't going to turn because I hadn't drained her dry before letting her heart stop and feeding her my blood, but that's about all I was sure about. Bonds between humans and vampires were almost unheard of and that is why I had gotten in contact with Vanessa. She may be a human, but she lived in the vampire world and knew everything there was to know about bonds and such because it was her job to know and if she wanted to keep on breathing then she would have the answers I needed and soon.
Anyways, back to Blair. She had changed and I have to admit I liked those changes even though I disliked the looks she was receiving from the male population and part of the female population as well. I especially did not like the way Nate was looking at her, in the same way he looked at Serena. Even the Brooklyn bum was watching her with approval in his eyes. This new Blair was getting attention she had never gotten before and it was easy to see she loved it. Of course she wasn't flaunting herself shamelessly like her blond best friend was known to do, but that only made her more desirable to the men currently lusting after her. A part of that attraction was caused by pheromones. You see, female vampires drew in victims using increased pheromones and apparently Blair had gotten a part of that even though I don't think she realized it yet.
Quickly making my way over to her, I grabbed her arm and pulled her away before she had a chance to sit on the steps. "Hey, let go of me Bass."
"Not until we talk." I replied letting out a deep growl at the human men who whistled when she passed. Finally I found a mostly empty area. Releasing my hold on her arm I let my gaze roam her body for a few seconds before settling on her face. "Take the sunglasses off Blair."
She crossed her arms over her chest in defiance. "No."
I had my reasons for asking and one way or another she was going to take the glasses off so I could see her eyes. "I'll make you a deal Waldorf. If you take off the glasses and I'm wrong then I'll leave you alone forever, but if I'm right, you have to stop avoiding me and go out to dinner this evening so we can talk."
"Fine." She stated with a sigh. "I'll take them off, but when you realize you're wrong then you have to leave me alone forever like you promised. You can't manipulate your way out of this one Bass. As soon as I take off these sunglasses you will be out of my life forever.
