I do not own Fairytail

Darkness… that is all I remembered, it surrounded me and lived inside of me. As an infant I opened my eyes and saw nothing but pitch black surrounding me, growing up I realized that the word light was nothing but a mere absence of darkness. And when I believed I saw the light for the first time… I woke up. Nothing will get better… I have learned that, the longing for the light had gotten so passionate within me that I want nothing to do with the existence of light. I want to destroy it; I want to eliminate it from this world so people all over realize what my life is like. I want to kill the light inside of this world… so everyone equally shares the darkness and so not even one person may have a glimpse of it anymore… I want to destroy it.

"Hey Lucy!" Natsu called out to Lucy from where he was standing in the middle of the field. Lucy was nowhere to be found. "LLLUUUCCYYY" Natsu's voice rang across the meadow bouncing off of the golden blades of grass that were blowing in the wind. Picking up his pace Natsu turned his slow stroll to a faster brisk walk, turning his head from left to right he scanned the wide open fields searching for the one girl he loved and always will. "LLLUUUCCY!" growing frantic he turned the walk to a quick jog. "Damn Lucy where are you! Where the hell cou-'' Natsu stopped moving as he noticed movement not too far off at the edge of the meadow where he now noticed a dark forest had appeared. "Lucy? Is that you?" A figure was walking through the dark trees the mist around them creating an eerie aura to the air surrounding the area. The hooded figure walked smoothly across the terrain not tripping over any of the small rocks and pebbles across the uneven somewhat rocky surface. Natsu blinked for one split second only to realize that when he opened his eyes again the dark cloaked figure was gone and only the disturbance within the mist was left. "Lucy! What the hell!" Natsu started walking towards the disturbance within the now thick fog. Reaching the edge of the wall of fog Natsu noticed his position change as he stood before a large cliff, there now stood two hooded figures; one was noticeably taller than the other as the smaller one seemed more as a child. "Lucy?" Natsu took one step forward before the head turned from the taller figure only being able to see a tear drop falling down their cheek before they grabbed onto the childs hand and took a step off of the cliff falling down. "NO LUCY!" Natsu reached out bounding towards the cliff, but he was too late… a splash resounded across the tall cliff walls the echo sounded across the entire canyon. "LUCY!"

Jolting up Natsu woke up from his recurring nightmare. Grabbing onto the back of his neck he twisted his neck side to side, his entire body was damp from the cold sweat. Sighing he got up and opened the door to his house and stepped outside, so much had changed since she left, but somehow so many things seemed to have stayed the same. The guild was as lively as ever all over again every single day, many have seemed to have forgotten the sorrow that the three lost mages had carried onto the guild and they have now forgotten everything to do with Lucy, Levy or Elfman.

"Mornin' Natsu!" Happy's high pitched joyful voice was heard back by Natsu's bed as Happy his blue cat was stretching from his long nights rest.

"Hey Happy" Natsu smiled with no emotion staring back out of the door at the same sunrise that rose every morning the bright color yellow illuminated the dark blue sky the moon shone far out in the distance vanishing with the few remaining stars.

"You don't look all too happy Natsu… is about… you know who?" Happy asked his voice turning quiet as he flew over to his best friend landing on top of his pink head.

"Nahh, I'm just wondering what I'm supposed to have for breakfast that's all!" Natsu stated quickly as he slowly swung himself back through the door and towards his kitchen the endless amount of dirty dishes piled up on the counters. Lucy used to keep the place clean as she spent the night at Natsu's place numerous times. Smiling to himself Natsu remembered the times that Lucy used to scold him about his messy kitchen and the chaos that was his entire house. But that smile ended all too soon as sadness washed over him the sound of Lucy's voice rang through his mind. "I'm actually not that hungry, I just want to sleep". Natsu mumbled quietly more to himself than to his friend.

Walking back towards his hanging bed, he crawled in pulled the blanket over his head and fell asleep.

"Hey Lucy… Luce!" Levy's hushed voice whisper yelled in the dark room they both now resided in.

"Levy, is that you?" Lucy quietly whispered back.

"No, it's the Easter bunny. No duh it's me, who the heck is it supposed to be?"

"Well it's just that I swear I heard Natsu's voice just now…" Lucy's eyes glazed over as the deep depression took over her body.

"I'm sorry Luce, I understand what you're going through I really miss Gajeel too, guess we just have to wa-''

"HEY! I said no talking!" a loud voice rang out as a loud sliding sound was heard followed by a huge slam and the keys jingling around sliding through the lock.

"Damn… why do we even have to be here? The guild is clearly not trying anything to get us back… so why do we have to stay here? It's not like they're going to come rescue us! It's been how many weeks? And they still haven't showed up!" Lucy quickly retorted to the guard that stood in front of their dark room.

"Shut it blondie, or else your big friend won't see the light of day ever again". The guard standing in front of Lucy's and Levy's room called out in a loud booming voice.

"Whatever… asshole" Lucy mumbled underneath her breath.

"I heard that!"

"Good".

"Damn, how the hell do you have a boyfriend?"

"The way you don't have a girlfriend".

"Oh please I just don't want one".

"No you're just too stupid to know what a girl is when you see one".

"Oh I do know, because I don't see a girl around here any ways".

"That's because me and Levy are behind this stupid big ass door!" Lucy kicked the door with all the strength she could muster towards her leg.

"Owww damn it!" The guard outside of the door was now hunched over in pain holding onto his butt the impact of the kick went through the metal straight to where he was leaning on the heavy metal door.

Lucy on the other hand was now clutching onto her mouth as she tried her best to stifle her giggles that threatened to come out.

"That's it I'm leaving… you're one crazy girl".

"Thanks! My boyfriend loves wild girls… he is a dragon slayer after all!" Lucy yelled with a lighter tone in her voice.

"Twat" the footsteps echoed across the lightly illuminated stone hallways underneath the earth, moisture escaping from the cracks within the cracking stone.

"Well that got rid of him, on a happier note… where was that stone" Lucy traced her fingers across the stacks of stone that lined the walls of their cell room. "Ah here it is!" Lucy exclaimed as she dug her fingers underneath the side of the unusual blue circular stone. Moving it out of the way she found the stash of things she secretly kept and had hidden them away from the multiple guards, and of course the mastermind behind this entire plan.

"Uhh Lucy… what are you doing?" Levy asked cautiously, scared that the guard would appear again any second.

"What does it look like? I'm helping Elfman… he has to get back!" Lucy placed the rock on the ground reaching her hand into the hole that was now in the wall scratching at the wall as the rock scraped away piece by piece digging her fingers into the sides of each singular piece of rock. "I'm almost there! I can feel the draft getting stronger through the rocks!" Lucy huffed as her entire arm now stuck inside of the wall. After a couple minutes of silence Lucy's arm was forcefully pulled through the wall as she huffed out loudly. "Oh my god I came through!" Lucy staggered back pushing the rocks that surrounded the wall around the edges the rocks landed on the ground followed by loud crashing noises. "Shoot! Elfman! Elfman! You there?" Lucy's voice rang out as she called out for her guild mate.

"Lucy?" A gruff tired voice sounded out through the fair sized hole.

"Yes it's me! Follow my voice!" Lucy called out excitement ringing in her voice as her escape plan for Elfman was in full swing.

Shuffling of feet was heard as they echoed across the walls. "Oh there you are!" Elfman's voice was heard as he reached the hole that Lucy had been working on for numerous weeks.

"Yeah I'm here! Anyways we can't talk for long the guard will be coming here anytime and we have to get you out of here and back to the guild… this is the plan."

"And exactly what plan is that?" the all too familiar voice was heard from behind Lucy.

"Shit" Lucy turned around slowly only to come face to face to someone who she thought was her new ally and friend.
