A/n: OK Guys, I am extremely sorry about not updating, my mom was in the hospital, I have had so many projects to finish (still do), and overall life has just been so hard on me. But the show must go on! So I hope you guys like this chapter, I had it done already but I didn't like it so I'm rewriting it. And time is really hard to tell in the show, so just trust me. Also, I haven't talked to my beta in forever and getting this chapter out has been hard. I'm not happy with this chapter but whatever.
"Allison, get your ass down these steps!" I hollered up the steps to my cousin. I've been waiting for her for fifteen minutes, just sitting at the end of the steps being bored.
"Okay, Hold your knickers!" she retorted coming down the steps.
"Knickers? How old are you seventy-five?" I scoffed. I straighten the skirt of my dress and walked to the door, while grabbing my book bag. Allison sighed exasperatedly behind me and i laughed softly. We exited the house going to my car on the brisk Tuesday morning. i unlocked the Camaro doors and entered. I started the engine and turned on the heat and the radio. I drove off, while Allison and I started singing I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! At the Disco. I started laughing at our silliness, Allison joined in. A few moments after stopping, I decided to ask Ally about Scott.
"So Ally, did you talk to Mr. Douchebag yesterday?" I asked nonchalantly.
Allison scoffed at my tone, "Yes, Fi. I did talk to him." she had a smile on her face.
How about an explanation? "And?" I pushed her to go on.
"I decided to give him another chance." Allison said quietly.
"What! Are you crazy to take back that leaving asshead?!" Is what I would have said, if i didn't love my cousin so much. Instead i went with: "Okay, Ally. Just be careful."
Allison sat gob smacked. I could tell she was shocked that i spoke so calmly. I internally smirked that i could get Allison in this position. She cleared her throat.
"Uh, yeah- yeah of course." She uttered.
We pulled into the school parking lot and picked a spot near the bike rack. I exited the car after turning of the engine, said bye to Allison, and entered the school. I was on my way to my locker when i spotted Isaac drinking at a water fountain. I hurried at him, while his head was still down at the water fountain, I yelled his name. Apparently, too loud because the poor boy nearly jumped out of his skin. That was not your best idea, Fiona. I tried to make up for it by speaking softer, "Oh sorry, Isaac."
His body became less rigid when he turned and saw me. "H-ey Fi-fi-ona." He blushed when he noticed the stutter. I thought it was adorable.
I noticed he was dressed in lacrosse gear. "Oh, i didn't know you played lacrosse?"
He looked down at his outfit, like he didn't know what i was talking about. Realization passed his face, then was replaced with embarrassment. "Mostly bench work." He said almost inaudibly.
"Well one day you'll get your chance on the field and I'll be there to watch when you do." I grinned at him and surprisingly he grinned back. "Well, i have to get to class and it looks like you have practice, go get 'em tiger!" I ended.
"Bye Fiona." No stutter. That made me smile, even wider as I walked to my locker and later to my first period class.
"Dad. Dad, what the Hell are you doing?" I heard Allison exclaim outside. I hurried off of my bed and raced down the steps and out the door, to a distraught Allison, a crumpled Scott, and a slack- jawed Uncle Chris. Normal Friday night.
"So… what did I miss," I said awkwardly, as Allison kneeled down next to Scott.
My Uncle Chris gave me the look, you know the look like 'isn't it obvious?'
"Oh you know my dad, just crashing into my- um Scott." Allison yelled then caught her almost boyfriend slip. I was hoping my uncle didn't catch it but of course he did.
"Fi, he came out of nowhere." He tried to convince me. I went over to him and patted him on his back.
"Of course you did, big guy, of course." I said mockingly.
Allison and Scotty started having a romantic moment right in front of us and Chris Argent, being the over-protective dad he is cut in, "We'll all be there." he replied, when Scott brought up the game. Scott's face was priceless and mixed with Allison's exasperation, I was beyond amused.
After a few minutes of being outside, I went back in the house to change for the game. I changed into a warm sweater dress, floral leggings, and tan Uggs. Over my outfit i threw on a pea coat and I strutted down the steps and out to my uncle's red truck. We all boarded the truck and we arrived at the school ten minutes later.
We finally went to the field, after Allison made us get her popcorn. We found seats and Allison, not-so-discreetly waved at Scott. I face palmed at her so called subtlety, literally. She pushed me and I tripped over the bleachers, catching myself before I fell. She started snickering but, then I gave her the 'Eye of Death' and she stopped quickly.
Allison was watching Lydia interrogate Scott so instead I decided to look for a familiar face and I landed on Isaac. It was like he could hear my mind because he looked at me at that exact moment. His lips turned up into a smile, as did mine, and we waved to each other. He then took his seat on the bench looking away from me. I turned back to my family just in time to see Lydia Martin strutting to us.
After a few minutes, the game finally began. It was us who scored the first goal, but it was suspicious that when Scott went for the ball that Jackson pushed Scott and took it for himself. I don't know about Scott but I would be pretty pissed. Especially when Lydia pulled out a "We Love You Jackson" sign, that must have been brutal for Scott because when Lydia asked me to help her hold up the sign, I declined, but Allison agreed. Eventually, we were losing three to five and it was nearing the end of the game. No body passed the ball to Scott, but yet he was always open so it seemed that they were ganging up on him. Lydia then took it upon herself to be the team's personal cheerleader, by only cheering for Jackson. She flipped around her previous sign to a side that said, "Jackson's #1". This is trouble. Allison was reluctant to stand with Lydia this time because she was worried about Scott, but she did stand unenthusiastically, holding the sign with one hand. My uncle looked around them and gave me the 'WTF' face; I simply shrugged as cheers rang out over Lydia's sign. The sign must have worked magic because next thing I know, Scott sprang into action. The whistle blew and he went for the ball. He ran, like a bat straight out of hell, dodging the white-cladded opponents. He raced towards the goal, making the shot making the crowd go Grade a Loco. The coach started yelling at the players, he wanted everybody to pass to McCall. They lined up again, this time the opposite team collected the ball. When he proceeded to run with the ball, he came to number eleven and stopped, a few moments passed before he simply tossed the ball to Scott. Did that just happened? Scott took it without a second thought, and he started to sprint down the field. When he reached the goalie, he heaved the sphere out of his net and it burned a hole through the goalie's net. What the actual hell? My mind continued to spit out curse words to describe the situation and I'm guessing one slipped out by my uncle's reaction.
"Watch your language!"
"Sorry." I apologized meekly. At this point, everybody was standing up, the game was tied we had a chance to win.
Scott somehow received the ball again and he jogged a little ways then stopped. With the last seconds grinding down, he started looking around. When players started at him, he hurled the ball at the goalie, which moved out the way to avoid getting hurt. He made the goal, we won! And with that the crowd went mad. They jumped and screamed, they have never seen a game like this before. We all started to rush onto the field. Allison ran ahead of me and her dad to catch up with Lover Boy, her dad kept his sharp eyes on her as she did this. I saw this too, she chased after Scott, and I distracted my uncle when he made a move to follow her.
"Good game, huh?" I asked, grinning. This seemed to do the trick, as he turned to look at me.
"Yeah, kind of surprising," He relented. You can say that again.
"I guess it was." I replied.
We ultimately found Allison and we drove home. After we ate a dinner of meat loaf and mash potatoes that my aunt made, we retired for the night. I took a short shower to wash off my day and got into my Mickey Mouse pajama pants and a black camisole. I lay in my bed and looked at the ceiling of my dark room before; a figure came through the door. They tip toed towards my bed, I reached under my pillow and pulled out my extra Taser. As they got closer, I jumped up preparing to tase them. The perpetrator released a very girly scream, and I knew it was Allison.
"What the hell are you doing?" I asked, fumbling with my bedside lamp, so I could see.
Once her breathing calmed, "I had to tell you something." She smiled.
"And this could not wait till morning?" I deadpanned. She shook her head. "Proceed." I sighed lying back in my bed. She took that as an invitation to sit at the foot of my bed.
"Scott and I kissed." She squeaked out. My eyes widen. I sat up quickly.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner? This is mega news!" I exclaimed dramatically.
He face brightened, "Really?"
"No, get out." I deadpanned again, lying back down in my pillows. She huffed and rose off of my bed. She reached the door before I called to her, "Ally."
"What." She faced me. She seemed disappointed that I wasn't happy with her.
I pulled up on my elbows, "I'm really happy that you're happy."
This left her with a smile on her face, as she exits my room.
