I walked down the front hallway towards my locker. There were many different groups clumped together in groups, what looked like gossiping. I simply disregarded it as a new rumor going around the school causing abuzz with the chatty teens. I shook my head; I was never one for gossip, I would rather hear a story from the horse's mouth than other people. I padded my way to my locker, pulling my leather jacket closer to my body, with my bag hanging lazily from my shoulders. Spin… Twenty- one… Spin… Ten… Spin… Seven... I thought as I entered my combo into the locker. I had barely pulled out my first book before I was yanked back harshly; causing some of the things that was tossed haphazardly in my locker to come tumbling out. "What the actual hell?" I asked, twisting around to face the person who had caused the chain reaction. I came face to face with a panting Scott and a shocked Scott's best friend.
Scott didn't apologize for his rude behavior; he just quickly hopped into his questions, "Where's Allison? Did she come to school? Why is she not answering her phone?" He spoke at a spit-fire rate.
"Scott, I haven't even talked to Allison today. What's wrong?" I said beginning to worry. I had realized I hadn't even said good bye to my family today.
Scott did not like that answer. He ripped his hands through his hair, leaving it in disarray. It sounded like a growl emanated from his mouth, but I couldn't be sure. He took off down the hallway and I briefly looked back at my pile of things before his best friend and I ran after him. The friend turned his head to me, out of breath as we ran, "I'm Stiles."
I nodded as we dodged around several people, Stiles even tripped a few times going around corners, "Fiona." Scott had stopped running after a few moments, he paused and then exploded and punched a locker. I mean the locker detached itself from the wall, leaving it swinging for a second. I gasped, which on my part was a totally girly thing to do. Stiles quickly turned to me and tried to explain something about adrenaline. Scott had turned around heading toward the stairs and literally ran into my cousin.
I sighed in relief that we had found my cousin, now time to get some answers. I put my hand onto Stiles' shoulder, "Mind telling me what the hell is going on?"
Stiles stammered to tell me something, "Um…you heard about the incident, right? Of course, you have, everybody has. So yeah, Scott was worried about Allison and went looking for her. Yeah, sounds 'bout right." He finished, like he was satisfied with the story.
I was not, on the other hand, "What incident? And that was not searching, that was more like hunting and what is up with the locker?" I twisted and gestured over to the locker, which we now knew to be Jackson's and he was pretty pissed about it.
Stiles seemed to sweat a small amount, as he looked around, like the answer was going to fall out the sky and become a reasonable alibi. After a few moments of struggling, he seemed to find an answer, though it was weak. He turned his head back to me, after his journey was over. He shrugged his slender shoulders and said, "Adrenaline." Then he ran, as fast as his feet would carry him, of course he stumbled and tripped, I was beginning to think he was just a very clumsy person, but he effectively got away from me. I shook my head when I noticed that Allison and Scott had disappeared, leaving my questions and me by ourselves. I walked away from the scene, grumbling about my increasingly weird morning, I paused briefly, patting Jackson on his back. A janitor had come around inquiring Jackson about his mutilated locker, giving him an odd look. I smiled at Jackson, throwing him a thumb up and hurrying to get along with my own business. I jogged back to my locker, picking up my fallen items that were left on the floor, due to Scott's impromptu "Run around the School" trip. I span my lock once more, selected the few things I needed for my first two classes. I looked to the big clock, jutting out of the wall, and noticed that I barely had three minutes to get to class, which happened to be halfway across the school. At that moment, I began to pray to whatever higher power that allowed me to come to school in a reasonable amount of time and be able to not be late to my first class. I smiled in triumph, despite my ungodly morning, things were beginning to go my way one step at a time.

By the time lunch rolled around I had heard the news that buzzed around the school and spread like wildfire. There had been students chattering away about the incident and finally Fiona got fed up with not being able to finish her work, without the high-pitched voice of Kim Chang entering her brain. "Oh my Chang, what has everybody gossiping?" I whispered quite loudly , trying not to disturb the teacher, who was falling asleep in his desk seat. They happily informed me on the accident, despite my rather rude outburst. It turned out that a person had been attacked late last night on one of the buses. According to Greg Haynes, who usually parked his car in the back lot, the scene was pretty gruesome, There was blood splattered across the windows, much like an artist would do if he was mad at his canvas. The door happened ton be ripped off of its hinges, hanging uselessly by. By just the description of the incident, I was quite glad that I didn't witness it.
I exited the lunch line after receiving my seemingly decent lunch, I came to see Scott and his best friend, Stiles sitting alone at a table. I quickly judged if there was anytime to get my answers it would be then. I marched over to their table, my face twisted into determination. I guess, I got the face from my mother, she was pretty intimidating. I cut into what seemed like a private conversation; I gathered by their hushed tones. Normally, I would have been respectable and left the table when I saw them talking, but I wanted answers. I plopped my tray onto the table causing Stiles to jump, though Scott just seemed startled. "Hello boys. As much as I love being swept across the school-," I didn't get to finish my well thought out interrogation because my darling cousin sat down. Following her, came the rest of the popular squad: Lydia, Jackson, Danny, and some other kids that I didn't know. I
began dipping out of the conversation, until I heard Jackson and Danny gang up on a guy who was taking up an extra seat. I didn't mean to, but a small chuckle did come out. The conversation changed into the story of the day. That's when I decided to chime in.
"So I hear they're saying it's some type of animal attack. Probably a cougar." Danny said, being the first to bring up the bus accident.
"I heard mountain lion." Jackson added on to his best friend. I rolled my eyes, thinking of how bright Jackson Whitmore was not. Right when I was going to correct him, Lydia stepped up.
"A cougar is a mountain lion." Lydia said in an irritated voice, like she knew that Jackson was an idiot. She was greeted with a stunned silence. I understood the silence, Lydia was known as the airhead queen bee and for the fact she had made a fool of Jackson's wits was pretty shocking and hilarious. "Isn't it?" And there it is! She said with a questioning tone, like she didn't even know if her statement was correct. I rolled my eyes, once again. I knew Lydia was brilliant because she was in all of my advance classes and we were often battling for first student.
Jackson hopped on after a beat of silence, ignoring Lydia's small outburst, "Who cares? The guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna' die anyway."
I quit holding my tongue, somebody needed to put him into his place. "And what would they say about you, Jackson? That you're a jackass who's gonna' get their ass kicked anyway?" I said, staring directly at Jackson, daring him to challenge me. I really did like Jackson, but for some reason his attitude was just irking me in the wrong way. Maybe it was the weird day that I was having, but I was tired of nonsense. Jackson glared at me, and then decided since I was friends with Lydia not to get into it with me, do he backed down.
The table was stunned into silence once again, but this time it was Stiles who broke it. "Actually, I just found out who it is. Check it out." He said, holding out his cell phone, with had a video playing on it.
"The Sheriff's department won't speculate on details of the incident but confirmed the victim, Garrison Meyers, did survive the attack. Meyers was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition," said the reporter on the screen.
Scott began to explain how he knew the bus driver and Lydia decided she didn't want to talk about the depressing topic any more. I didn't blame her, I felt like the man's tragic incident, shouldn't have been a point of entertainment for a group of teenagers.
"Can we talk about something slightly more fun, please? Like, oh, where are we going tomorrow night? You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow night, right?" She questioned Allison. At that moment, I instantly felt her Queen Bee powers activate. I guess, Lydia just had that air around her that makes you bend to her will.
"Um, we were thinking of what we were gonna' do." Allison said timidly. She began looking from Scott to Lydia to me. Allison had begun piecing together where Lydia was going with the conversation and she was looking for a savior. I gave her a curt shake of the head, letting her know that Super Woman was off duty.
"Well, I am not sitting home again watching lacrosse videos, so if the four of us are hanging out, we are doing something fun. Oh Fiona, you should come!" She got excited. My eyes widened when she invited me.
"Sorry, but I would rather not be the fifth wheel," Fiona was worried that Lydia wouldn't take that for an answer, surprisingly she did and left Fiona be.
Allison reluctantly agreed to have a group date with Lydia and Jackson. I'm pretty sure Lydia picked up on the reluctance, but chose to ignore it because what Lydia wants, Lydia gets. I watched as it turned into a battle of testosterone over bowling. It was quite funny on my end to be honest.

I found myself lying across the width of Allison's bed. I began sinking into the warm, soft blankets of Allison's bed. I was still a little apprehensive about being alone in my own room because of my dream earlier. When I try to rest in my bed, I feel the warm creeping of fingers traveling my waist. It caused me to shiver multiple times. So I spent most of the time after school in Allison's room and later on Lydia dropped by. Lydia was helping Allison pick out an outfit, with minimal input from me. When they had finally found an outfit, my uncle had to come in and bust it. He departed the room, after telling Allison that she couldn't go out.
"Someone's daddy's little girl." Lydia taunted in good humor, thinking that Allison would obey her father, which is what I also was thinking.
"Sometimes, but not tonight." Allison said determinedly, marching towards the window. I lifted up off of the bed, looking at Allison.
"Allison Kate Argent, have you lost your mind?" I said, with my eyes widened. My cousin was about to jump out of a window.
She rolled her eyes at me and ignored my statement and choice to talk to Lydia, "Are you coming?"
"I'll take the stairs." Lydia spoke skeptically, grabbing her purse and heading downstairs.

Before Allison, hopped out of the window, she turned to me and said "Cover for me." Before I could even object, she was gone.

I retired to my room, with only a bit of disruption. My uncle came in asking where Allison was, I lied my ass off saying, she was in the bathroom and she had a bad taco at lunch that day. I was quite proud with my lying capabilities. I changed into comfortable sweat pants and a tank top, turning on my ceiling fan afterwards. I gathered myself into my bed, charging my phone into the wall outlet on the bed stand. As I started drifting into unconsciousness, I began seeing flashes of my day. Me waking abruptly from my heated dream with the sexy, mysterious guy that held a grudge against something I know not what of. Me meeting said man in the woods, upon a burned home. Coming to school and dealing with Scott having a mad burst of adrenaline only spiked more confusion within me. The incident on the bus and Allison jumping out of a window had me deep in thought. It seemed like Beacon Hills was changing a lot of things in my life. It was creating questions and only I had the power to find answers, so that's what I was going to do. I am going to get my answers.
