I'm not a cliffhanger b-tch so this chapters should answer all of your questions.
Quick reminder that this chapter will explain everything from the start, so we will go back to the past. Each timeline is written beforehand.
[Few days earlier]
"Letter from Erwin, huh..."
Levi was sitting alone in a corner of the cable and started reading the letter that has just been delivered.
However, when he took the letter out of the envelope, the writing was smooth, beautiful, and the paper was the expensive type for the rich.
"Hey Levi, surprise! It's Reina.
I can predict the look on your face after seeing my name.
Anyway, I've heard about Eren and Historia's kidnapping.
This is an urgent matter, so I can not sit still.
I'll give you a plan. Follow."
Levi sighed. This girl was the same as usual, even though they haven't met each others for years, since she went on her mission.
"Okay. This is how the plan will work.
First, I've sent a letter to Mikasa. She can do this, right? I remember her as a cute kid when you brought her to our meeting. Awwh.
Back to topic. I'll need her as a co-spy. Since she shared the same surname with Kaney, we can fool him.
After Mikasa had joined me, I'll trigger Eren and Historia with a plan to escape, which I think Eren will be the one to run away.
I and Mikasa will fake a scene so he can escape safely. You, knock out the guards on both gate and ready to pick him up.
And I noticed Kaney had switched Eren's key. But I'll switch it back, don't worry.
The plan will proceed tomorrow, about after sunset. Be ready."
Levi thought about her plan thoroughly in his head. He noted himself to secretly checking Eren's key later.
"After that, take Eren to your base.
Kaney will definitely launch a new plan. He hates me, so he'll use Seth. Seth is also a Scouting Legion spy. We faked a hatred-relationship to fool Kaney. Ambush him at the cable and get in his carriage.
There is a warehouse not so far from the manor. Kaney might start the plan there to avoid you guys.
Since Kaney's a worrywrat, he'll start the plan right after your first attack. He will lied to me though.
I'll plant some bombs in the manor to distract him. The fake key will be stored in a room there.
This is crazy but I need you to take the fake key then switch it with Eren.
Why? Because if stored longer, Kaney will realize it's the fake one. So take it and switch with Eren. You'll keep the real one and let Eren wear the fake one. Kaney will attack Eren to take the key back later for sure. He will think that he got back the real one.
I'll distract Kaney. I'll wear my black cloak and shoot him (I've saved you back then near the bar, you owe me.)
Send me a member of your squad that you can trust, I'll give him/her my red cloak to pretend to be me as stand-up.
Next, burn down Reiss' mansion next to the palace.
You can figure out why, right? The secret door is in the library. Kaney might set a trap there to lure you in.
That's all I can predict for now. I'll plan the rest with Mikasa when she gets here.
Tell the kids to trust a person named "Reina", in case of emergency.
Wait I almost forgot. I will leave a map of the mansion (the one next to the palace) at the key room, so later on you can figure out where the library is.
I had to go meet Reiss now.

After reading the letter, Levi smiled. This spy had grown up and turned out to be a smart woman.
In one letter, just one, she had predicted and planned out 3 attacks for Levi's squad.
Levi stood up and went to see Mikasa. She was reading her own letter.
"So, Mikasa. Understand?" - Levi asked.
"Reina hadn't changed at all, had she?"
"Yeah."
"She is... incredible."
"She really is. I'll count on you, Mikasa."
"I won't fail."
~~ The first attack (flashback) ~~
After the scream of Reiss, Valeria opened the door of Eren's room.
Eren quickly stood up and ran out of the door.
"Did you switch the key?" - Valeria asked after Eren had left.
"Yeah, in his sleep." - Mikasa said.
"Now I'll fake chasing after Eren in the wrong direction. You pretend to bump your head to look like Eren had pushed you. But first, give me the fake key."
"Here."
"See you later." - Valeria took off her heels and started running out.
~~ The second attack (flashback) ~~
Valeria was sitting with the rest of the staffs, in her usual red cloak.
When the staffs went chaos thinking about the bombing, a figure approached her.
"You're...Reina, right?"
"Yeah. So you're Levi's pick?"
"Yes. I'm Armin."
"Great you're the same height as me. Here, my red cloak. Sit quietly in a corner. Fake crying noise, nobody will come to talk. I trust you."
"Yes."
After switching with Armin, Valeria sneaked out of the crowd, ran to a huge flower pot. Behind it was a neatly folded black cloak. She wore it on and headed to the key-storing room.
On her way, she picked up a fake envelope she prepared before, with the word "From Reina to Levi" and her beloved shotgun.
She made it just in time to stop Kaney from discovering Levi and Sasha. She aimed for his hand but missed it.
Thanks to knowing the manor well, she managed to lure Kaney far away. After Kaney got pissed off and went to Mikasa's place, Valeria went back to the room.
She dropped the envelope down and used her gun to smash the door.
She wanted to destroy the evidence that Sasha used tricks to break the lock, and made a fake crime scene that Levi broke the entire door to get in. This would make Kaney think that Levi came here after Kaney had left, not before.
Then she rushed back to the staffs gathering and switched back with Armin when the staffs were arguing with Kaney.
With all of that, she managed to fool Kaney again.
~~ The night before the third attack (flashback) ~~
"Mikasa this is a secret training for your gun skills."
Valeria threw Mikasa a shotgun, showing her an empty field.
"Tomorrow, Kaney will go for the kill. He will force you to shoot Eren, if my guess is right."
"Shoot Eren? I can't do that!"
"And Kaney had a weird hobby that he likes shooting in their heads, right at their brains."
"I can't do that to Eren!"
"I know I know. You love him. That's why I called you out here."
"I can't pretend to miss it. Kaney will realize."
"Tell him you want to shoot Eren's heart. Make an excuse. Since either shooting in the brain or the heart will kill Eren, Kaney will accept."
"So I still have to kill Eren?!"
"The trick, is to shoot JUST NEXT TO the heart. Then I'll take care of it "
"Just next to? How the hell can I do that?"
"You see, shooting is my skill. My aiming is perfect. I saved you once back then."
"You're the shooter that help us escape! I know it!"
"You got a gift, Mikasa. I see it when Levi first introduced you to me, Erwin and Hanji. I believe you can master this trick in one night."
"I'm not that good..."
"Then you want Eren to die?"
"No, I don't."
"See that big tree over there?" - Valeria pointed at a tree with a huge trunk "I draw a heart shape right there. The size is from a real human heart. Practice there."
"How the hell do you know the size of a human heart?"
"I see one. Or maybe more than one. I'm living with these monsters for years, I think I've seen all the organs."
"Rough job as a spy huh?"
"Yeah. But you and I are the same, fueled by the same thing. That's the main reason why we are this strong."
"You are still in love with him?" - Mikasa asked before putting bullets in her shotgun.
"As much as you love Eren." - Valeria smiled bitterly "Now...shoot."
~~ The third attack (flashback) ~~
Valeria knocked down Eren easily with the gun she hid under her cloak.
"Sorry, cutie."
She took his torch and walked away.
Kaney told her the plan was to lure Levi into the library with guards surrounding. So the staffs had gathered mostly at the library. She took this chance to use Eren's torch to burn down the other parts of the mansion.
She made sure to knock down every oil lamps on her ways as well.
Soon, the whole place was covered in flame.
She now rushed to the library, hoping to make it in time.
- Now -
"EREN! THIS IS REINA'S ORDER!"
Valeria shouted at the door, causing everyone's attention.
"Transform!" - She continued while taking out her gun and shot three continuous hits to Kaney.
"You bitch." - Kaney grunted.
The guards were too stunned that they stood still, looking at Valeria.
Reina... Eren remembered Levi's words before. But this woman, how could he trust her.
"Eren. My new rule." - Levi reminded Eren.
"New rule..." - Eren murmured as his breathing was getting weaker.
He then glanced at Mikasa. One second looking at her face made up his mind. Her worried face, a face that she rarely showed to anyone or for anyone but him.
He lifted his hand up with all of his remaining strength and bit his finger.
Smoke went out and Eren transformed to a titan.
"Horse-faced, baldhead, climb to Eren's shoulders!" - Valeria ordered Jean and Connie by nicknames since she hadn't known their names yet.
The two boys quickly got on the rogue titan, struggling while climbing due to their injuries.
"Levi hold off Kaney. Mikasa and I will deal with the guards." - The redhead continued, getting another gun out of her cloak.
The two ladies stood next to Eren's titan feet, shooting anyone who dared to come close while Levi dealed with Kaney.
"She was the spy all along." - Kaney cursed while looking at three bullet holes on his body "That two-faced bitch!"
"She was good, right?" - Levi smirked and slashed his blades at Kaney.
Kaney tried to dodge but the pain made him slower and Levi was able to make a deep cut along his chest.
"Retreat!" - Levi shouted.
Mikasa and Valeria turned to Eren and grabbed his burning flesh, started to climb up.
Levi hooked the 3DMG to Eren's back and flew up.
"Not so fast!" - Kaney screamed "You traitor!"
Kaney aimed his gun at Mikasa, who climbed slower than Valeria.
"Mikasa!" - Valeria gasped, spread out her cloak, revealing she was wearing the new model of 3DMG, which she stole when she got here yesterday.
She shot the hook to the opposite wall and flew past Mikasa. She grabbed the young girl's hand and spun, using herself as a shield for Mikasa.
The bullet hit Valeria's waist, just above the gas tank.
"Mikasa, hold onto me."
Mikasa hugged her and she used her 3DMG to fly up.
"Damn it the 3DMG supposed to be the final trick." - Valeria mumbled.
After the squad had reached Eren's shoulder, which was above the roof, they saw Sasha sitting on the tallest tree shooting fire arrows to the mansion.
"Great. The mansion is almost completely burned." - Connie said.
Valeria removed her red cloak and threw it down next to the flames.
"Valeria is burned to death." - She smiled, because finally she could stop faking to be Valeria "Call me Reina from now on."
"Ok. Reina, what's next?" - Jean asked.
"Armin had prepared the horses. Head to the North Gate. Bring Eren out of this Titan form and kick the form down. This titan body could crush many things beneath."
"Mikasa go get Eren out." - Levi ordered, throwing a blade at her.
"Yes." - Mikasa took the blade and cut Eren out of the huge burning form.
"Hurry, to the horses." - Reina urged.
They got to the North Gate, seeing Armin with four horses.
"Horse-faced, bald head, you two are injured, so sit at the back. So does Eren." - Reina organized the seats.
They ended up as Armin rode with Jean, Levi rode with Connie, Mikasa with Eren, and Reina sat on Sasha's horse.
"Can we get away after burning such important building?" - Connie asked.
"I had spread a false rumor that Reiss captures Eren with the intention to use his titan power against the royal. And the Royalty was aware of it." - Reina answered.
"I see. So this fire will be thought as the King's punishment to Reiss' rebel." - Jean commented.
"Since the citizens are clueless about Reiss being the true royal, we can fool them." - Reina added.
"Beautiful and wicked , possibly twisted." - Levi glanced at Reina.
"Well shortie, I'll take that as a compliment."
"We're here!" - Armin said.
They put the horses in the small cable and got inside their hideout.
"Hanjiiii!" - Reina gave her a big hug.
"Reina, so good to finally see you again."
"I miss you so much, four-eyed."
"This Reina enjoys giving nicknames, doesn't she...?" - Jean sighed, since he hated his nickname.
"How...is Erwin?" - Reina asked Hanji.
"Thanks to you, he's fine for now."
"That's good." - Reina sighed in relief.
At the same time, Mikasa brought Eren to a futon. The injury near his heart had healed.
"Thanks goodness." - Mikasa smiled, placing her hand on his.
"Mikasa...?" - Feeling her warmth, he slowly opened his eyes.
"Eren!" - She gasped and hugged him right away.
"I'm fine." - He knew she was worried about him, so he hugged her back, feeling her shaking body.
"I'm sorry for shooting you." - She cried.
"You did the right thing. I'm the one who should be sorry. You were under such hardship and yet... I doubted you."
"But you did trust me in the end."
"Cuz' I love you. And my heart is already yours, you can shoot it anytime you want."
"I love you too..."
"Stop crying." - He used his finger to wipe off her tears "You look more beautiful smiling. Smile."
She held back her tears and finally managed to smile at him. Her smile was truly beautiful, and Eren couldn't help it but pulled her close and locked her lips.
It was a long soft kiss, like a magical medicine that could heal any pains.
"Don't die." - Mikasa whispered.
"The same to you."
With that, they shared another kiss, making up for all the time they were apart.
The kiss, it felt like a miracle.
well that was ... predictable, right, haha.
I don't know why I like this plot but... I just really like it, I love my OC.
