There's no real way of softening this, so I'll skip the formalities and cut to the chase.
I'm not going to continue this story.
Instead, I'm going to re-write it, practically from scratch.
I've decided that I'm just not happy with WFCS as it is, but I love what I have too much to just abandon it, and since RWBY Volume 2 is now in full swing (Oh, how I love it), this is the perfect time to take advantage of the creativity and inspiration it provides and do what I've been wanting to do ever since I realized how rushed and rough WFCS is.
In short, what this means is:
This story will NOT be updated anymore.
This story is NOT dead, only in the process of being re-written.
Sooner or later, a new story, most likely under a different name will be uploaded and will have both a much more informative, involving and story-progressing read along with actual character developments and relationship growths without being too "shippy" or "boring", and less but longer, more plot-relevant chapters.
There will be no set update schedule, only as and when I feel like the next chapter is as good as I can make it.
You will NOT be reading the same story with changed wording. The plot is going to have major changes made to it, the timeline will be altered to better fit everything else and some events that have happened so far may be drastically altered or may not occur at all. Or they will, it remains to be seen.
Hopefully you all understand that WFCS was quite literally a spontaneous venture and my first real attempt at a fanfiction. It was written quite literally on a whim and every chapter was done 1-3 days after the previous was uploaded, this made it far too rushed and unfinished. It was a learning experience, but I feel that I can do so much better as a writer now that it deserves being written properly and as good as I can possibly make it.
Bzz bzz will actually grow alongside the story.
