Veronica Urquhart's father has to restrain his wife from lunging at Harry Potter. And it's terrible. All he wants to do is let he go and watch her claw the stupid boys eyes out. If it weren't for Harry Potter, Veronica would still be alive. If he had turned himself in, if he had just died all those years ago when he should have, the Urquhart family would not have been reduced to three.

Cadmus knows as he watches the Potter boy leave through the double doors of the Great Hall, that what he feels is unfair to the boy. Harry Potter defeated the most powerful wizard in all of Europe, he has saved the world. Everyone says the world is now better.

But Cadmus can't help but think, as he pins his wife's arms to her sides, that a world without Veronica Urquhart isn't much of a world at all.
