''Our Milky Way is the dwelling; the nebulae's are the city's.''

It was not the first time he fought against another species but this time it was special, we made the first contact! He looked outside the window in deep thought. This species wanted to activate a relay that was forbidden by the council and when the Turians opened fire at them it was war! He continued to look out the window where beautiful nebula's passed him by. He wanted to join C-sec so he would be closer to his family. He missed his family, especially his mother. Her cooking always made him happy, his mandible's where moving in the thought of her delicious food and he began to purr in excitement.

''Faron!'' The Turian looked over it's shoulder and noticed his friend was walking to him with a big smile on his face.

''What is it Kai?'' he murmured annoyed.

''Oohh, are you still mad about Mayana?'' chirped Kai while walking up to him.

Would that be it?

''I don't know, you are just in my debt, okay?''

''Fair enough.'' Kai replied with rolling eyes, ''Butyou are bothered by something else..''.

''Look, we destroyed their vessel while we just could warn it!'' Faron didn't want to say it in Kai's face so he turned his sight back to the window.

''they did something stupid by opening a forbidden relay, we just need to stop them.'' objected his friend. it became silent between them and Faron decided to go sit somewhere else but before he could even get close to his goal the alarms went off.

''War vessel ahead!'' he heard over the intercom.

''Well, let's see how ugly these are!'' escaped the mouth of Kai while loading his gun. Faron couldn't help to laugh at his friend naive personality but he tried not to show it.

A few minutes had passed by and they stood in their positions. They almost were going to take over the ship. mostly because they wanted to find information about the species itself, knowing where they fought with. He fastened the belts from his armor and checked his gun. He still felt it wasn't the right way to make first contact. But he didn't got the time to argue, it was time! The doors opened and they ran into the ship while shooting.

It just feels wrong...

''Look for more of them'' ordered Faron's commander and he decided to let Kai and Faron investigate the hallways. Kai found a big room where they found a lot of useful equipment and other information. Faron guarded the door and Kai was trying to fit everything in the bag he got for salvage. Out of the blue their ears were penetrated with an awful sound, both turians guarded their ears and turned to each other with shocked eyes..

''Spirits, what was that?!'' asked Kai while Faron shook his head in pain.

''I have no idea… lets check it out, okay?''.

Kai agreed and followed him.

They heard weird noises from a room, when they walked closer to it they heard a kind of noise that sounded like talking and something that sounded like... crying. Faron decided to go in and hinted his buddy for cover. Kai nodded his head in approvement, Faron turned around to open the door and he rushed into the room.

He was nailed to the ground: An asari that laid on the ground and two of the species the turians where at war with! Faron felt a wave of anger going though his veins. With out thinking clearly, he pulled the trigger. The first one never knew what had hit him, the second one tried to protect himself but Faron walked up to him and shot him between the eyes.

Kai made sure Faron was alright.

''Wow, remind me to never get on your bad side!'' Faron didn't even heard his friend and he rushed to see if the Asari was okay, realizing he forgot to ask himself why an asari would be so far away in an unknown battle field? It didn't take long before he realized this wasn't an Asari but the same species he just shot. He heard that it was crying and it didn't took long for him to understand why, from the ripped clothes and her crying voice they where doing horrible things to her.

He decided to take a closer look. The creature looked a lot like a asari except for her skin tone. Every time he took a step closer she cried louder. When he was close enough to look at her face, it had began to look at him and he could clearly see her amazing big eyes. not as big as that from a Salarian but they where 'spirits big'… He saw it was afraid he would hurt it, just like the others did.

''Of course, it must be scared of me. perhaps it never saw another specie before'', He couldn't say he didn't find this a bit scary himself. After seeing it wasn't a threat, he decided it must have been cold on that floor, he kneeled down and took of his jacket to wrap it around her. It had closed her eyes when he had moved closer to her. He was not going to shoot something that helpless even when it was an order..

''this is the least I could do'' and he stood up heading back for his friend.

All of a sudden he felt something grabbed his hand and he almost got an heart attack from it, which he answered with a big 'back off!' hiss. Confused of his own action he saw it made the creature even more scared than it already was.

''Look, I know you can't understand me but just back off, okay? I can't help you any further, just stay hidden until we are gone''.

It looked at him with a puzzled expression and decided to say something in return…

''Okay, this is just to weird!'' he couldn't make any sense from it. The creature was shaking from fear or cold and he decided to walk up and look down on her. It made her look up and those big eyes where staring at him again.

''Fine, let's go…''. He grabbed her hand and headed back to his friend. When he walked out the door with a simple 'clear' Kai looked at him with big eyes.

''by the spirits, do you have there?!''.

''I saved it okay? we need to bring it in safety''. Responded Faron irritated not looking his friend in the eyes.

''No way! the order said: kill them all and salvage equipment to use for the war!'' he argued with Faron. they didn't even noticed that Eira looked at them, amazed how they where talking.

''It somehow sounds really scary yet they have a beautiful language'' she spoke to herself out loud not even noticing herself. Faron and Kai stopped their discussion for a second and they looked down at Eira.

''Did it just say something, by the spirits what did it even say? sounds to weird to me''… complained Kai back to his friend.

''Isn't weird since our translators don't recognize the language. we never met these species before, so their language is not in it!''. snarled Faron at Kai. Eira looked at Faron with a questioning look… Faron knew why and tried to explain the situation with his hands while talking:

''It's going to be al-right, okay? we bring you in safe-'' before he even could finish his sentence he got cut off by his friend again.

''Ohh spirits No, WE?! I'm not helping you out, we are already in trouble if they see us like this, with… this thing''.

''You are in my debt from 'Mayana'…remember?''. Mentioned Faron and Kai went silent..

''Ouch yeah, that was true..''… Faron could swear he could read his friends mind…

''Well, I am going to take a salvage shuttle then, I can hide her between the salvage.''. Planned Faron and he pointed to the nearest shuttle.

''Fine, I'll help you. You are lucky this place smells already weird enough by them!''.

''we first need her to get there…''.

''Well you just need to distract them if necessary and I will sneak her into the shuttle.'' Explained Faron while he grabbed Eira's hand again. Kai still looked at him, not convinced enough to know if this would work.

''Come on, you need to help me out here!'' Begged the young turian while his eyes were focused on those of his buddy . Kai took a glimpse of the grey eyes who had stared at him and his companion for an answer. She looked at him with her grey big eyes while she had a firm grip of Faron's hand. It started to dry her tears with the jacket she got from her savior.

They are real...

she began to realize they were real, the rumors about a first contact and it's war… That the alliance found aliens but why would they attack a pirates ship?, ''why would they help me?'' she asked herself while she got pulled by her hand again, through the hallways.

The hallways were long with rusty steel walls and it didn't took long for Eira to saw the bodies of pirates lying on the floor with blood around them, she noticed a few non human creatures like her savior and she couldn't help to look at their blood who had a dark blue color. Out of the blue they stopped and Eira bumped into the back of the creature who was still holding her hand. She saw the aliens began to sneak to a corner so she instinctively sneaked with them.

They looked if it was safe to go and the other creature said something with a affirmative 'click'. Faron pulled her in his arms so she wouldn't be noticed.

''Damnit, of course there had to be guards!'' Whispered Faron while holding the creature close.

''Told you so it wouldn't be that easy!'' Murmured Kai while looking around for another way. He turned around to face his friend, he couldn't understand why Faron wanted to protect her so badly. He took a deep breath and slowly stood up.

''Wha-'' gasped Faron. Still holding the creature close to him.

''I'm saving your ass here so make sure you get out of here!'' he hissed back and he turned around the corner saluting his friend.

The guards pointed alarmed their guns at Kai when they realized it was one of their own kind.

''Hey, can you guys help me out? there is a big room with a lot of salvage, Faron and I can't carry it by ourselves!''. The guards sighed and lowered their guns.

''For spirits sake, you guys are not strong enough?'' asked one of them.

''You should see it for yourselves then! I stay here and guard the shuttle!'' advised Kai. The guards nodded and took off the directions he pointed them to. When the guards where out of sight, Kai motioned to Faron and the creature. Faron hurried to the shuttle with the creature.

It was full of junk, computers, data pads they even moved a sofa in it. He motioned the creature in and walked back to the doors.

''What the hell is actually happening to me?'' Eira questioned herself while she took seat on the sofa.

Kai stood in the door opening making sure nobody had seen them entering.

''Good luck Idiot, you are highly in my debt right now!''.

Faron responded with a smile on his face which made his mandibles squeak

''really? this is just a small deal! But I will contact you, alright?''.

His friends brow plates frowned worried about his words but decided to let him go.

''alright'' he said while he tried to sound calm and he closed the doors from the shuttle.

Faron left out a deep sigh knowing what his friend was thinking. He looked at the creature and decided to take place on his drivers seat to start the engine.

Eira was feeling dizzy and maybe a bit nauseous, she decided to lay down and tried to sleep which was a bit hard with that tight robe still around her wrists. She didn't really care and nuzzled her face in the pillow. Dream, she wanted to dream that she was still at home in her own room playing video games…
