''To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field sown with millet, only one grain will grow.''

''Where is my daughter!?'' echoed the voice of a mother trough the halls of a villa on earth. A clap of thunder made the lights tremble and the room was dark for a split second. The husband of the mother holds her crying face firmly into his chest and he tries his best to calm her down. He wears an expensive black suit but missing the tie of it. ''Please, tell us you have information on where she is!'' He was clearly trying to keep his voice down and not let his anger get the better of him. He was an very tall, and respectful man with white short white hair, thick eyebrows and dark brown eyes. He knew his daughter was a problem and that it always had been a pain in the ass to keep her in the house or with the bodyguards.

''I'm sorry, Mr. Stone. We know she took the public shuttle to Luna.'' Said the officer that had been specialized in missing cases and he thought it was clear enough why she ran. She never had gone to a public school nor was she allowed to left the house by her own. That made it harder for her to make friends and maybe even made her the rebel she is today.

''She has bright blue hair! How could she not be noticed in a mining facility on the moon?!'' Screamed the mother furious. Her hair had unshackled from her tight bun, loose strands falling over her face and ears from all the times she had tried to 'fix' it after an emotional break down. Mrs. Stone was 12 years younger then her husband, she still had her dark brown hair, small blue eyes and her overly expensive fashion made her a good match for her husband. Her husband embraced her with his arms and turned his stern face to the officer,

''when was the last time she was seen?'' he said while his wife was weeping in his arms.

''Well,'' started the officer, ''she was seen 16 hours ago on the public shuttle, but… it has been hijacked by a pirate vessel…''.

''What?!'' Roared the father and his eyes grew wide, his sclerotic turned red from the veins who snapped in his anger.

''Did you just tell me, my Eira, my only daughter is kept hostage by pirates?!'' If his wife hadn't stopped him he would have hit the officer, recognizing his outburst he slowly loses his grip on the tie from the officer and finally lets go of him. The officer tightened his tie, dusted of his coat and coughed a few times to continue his report.

''We have found the pirate ship she was supposed to be on, sir. However she isn't found on it.''.

''You are specialized in searching missing people! Why could you not find her'' said the mother while she holds her face in her hands.

''The ship got attacked by an unknown vessel Lady Stone…'' Even the officer himself found it hard to believe but he had seen the evidence for himself. It became awfully quite in the room and the father turned to his wife. He planted a kiss on her forehead and told her to leave the room for a moment, she did what was asked of her and she left the room defeated and sobbing while the other agents accompanied her.

The father turned to the nearest window, where rain began to glide down on the glass. The officer knew it had to be important, he knew the Stone family had funded 'The Alliance' the most of all and that they had close connections to the organization. The father sighed deeply and started his story.

''The rumors of a first contact war are true, officer. An alien vessel attacked our explore team, that was supposed to open a relay… Only one survived long enough to report.'' The officer had hold his breath to hear the news,

''So if it is true… why keep it a secret when we are practically at war with them?'' he mumbled his last sentence. The father had returned to his table where there was a bottle of whiskey with a few glasses and he sat down.

''Would you want to bring chaos to the world, mister..?'' while he poured himself and the officer a drink he waited for him to answer.

''Michael Livewood and uhm, no… of course not'' answered the officer while he declined the glass of whisky,

''alright then mister Livewood, did you found any evidence on that pirate ship that could be useful for finding my daughter?'' asks the rich man while he took a sip of his drink, Michael felt in the inside pocket of his suit and handed a tiny micro card to him,

''The ship belonged to one of the most famous pirate gangs today, 'the Nightfalls', they try to get as many equipment and data to become even more powerful and of course they are also well known to kidnap people from rich family's. However your daughter, Eira, is not in their hands anymore.'' While the father had open his laptop and placed the chip in the driver he had listen with concentration to the officers story. He opened the file and a security video fragment popped up, the father looked up at the officer and placed his drink on the table.

''that is the last footage we have found of your daughter.'' Mister stone returned his dark brown eyes to the screen, pressed a button and the video began to play. The security video showed a five second video from an unknown creature that waited before a corner, it held Eira's hand firmly in his while his arm wrapped protectively over her shoulders. It peeked around the corner, stood up and pulled her into a shuttle. The fragment repeated itself showing the scene over and over again. The thunder had stroke in and caused the lights to die out for the second time that evening. The officer and the father sat in the room with only the sound of the rain ticking on the windows. Mister stone placed his elbows on the desk while clasping his hands together to hide his vicious grin.

''It doesn't matter what I have to do, I want my daughter back and I seem to have invested my money in just the right company''.

''You already know each others names!'' chirped Mayana in a cheerful tune while clapping her fingers together, Eira and Mayana had placed themselves on the sofa, Mayana had studied Eira and her hair for an hour now. Faron had took place in his chair and investigated the way Mayana was trying to explain herself to Eira why her 'head strands' were so fascinating.

''Look Faron, she can move it all the way around!'' She played with Eira's hair and swirled around her finger and was impressed by the fact it made the strands to curl up. Eira giggled a bit while she tried to put her hair back up in her usual bun. Faron always admired the fact that Mayana was so social and she even proved it by the fact Eira had trying to explain to her what 'haiirk' was. Damn you Kai!

He was pulled out of his deep thoughts when his name was called by Eira.

''Faron?'' She gave him an worried glance which made Mayana eye him and her curiously.

''What are you thinking about?'' chirped Mayana along while Eira still studied his expression closely. Faron snapped out of his brain work and gaped at Eira.

Spirits, she can even recognize my body language… ''Oh, Uhm'' he sputtered ''I- I wanted to know if you, u-uhm, Mayana, Eira is 'human' could you update her language into our omni tool chips so we can understand her?''. Smooth talk Faron, smooth….

Mayana who was to over excited, jumped up while she grasped the hands of Eira who got dragged along.

'' That's an perfect idea, great thing you have all the salvage too, we can use that for translating!'' Mayana let go of Eira's hands to open her omnitool to make a search for 'humans' where Faron was talking over. While her first search made her glare at him with an disturbed expression of reading the information about it.

''You are in war with her kind…'' Faron scratched the back of his neck nervously, he didn't answer her so she could consume more info, he was now fucked anyway.

''They opened the 314 relay?! Faron, what are you thinking!'' The young Asari cried angry and Faron's head had dropped in defeat by her words. JupReally fucked…

''They didn't really opened it, they tried to and we shot them down, which accelerated to war a-an-…'' He didn't had the heart to finish his sentence or look her in the eye. His mind went back to the moment he killed the humans to save Eira. The red fluid had spread out of the bodies and the image of the crying girl with her hands over her eyes to protect them, was still fresh on his mind. Blood mixed with tears making steaks from her cheeks to her chin, slowly dripping to the ground.

Her wide grey ,no, almost silver eyes, red from distress, still had an innocent sparkle in it. He couldn't explain, her eyes reminded him of something…

He carefully switched his gaze from the ground to where she was sitting. Her somber silvery irises met his, she did understand where they were fighting over.

''I- I needed to save her…'' he determined looked back to the asari. ''I couldn't let her stay in that place, it would mean her death'' His bright green orbs pleading her to understand. Mayana let out an big sigh, relaxing her stern gaze from her gorgeous blue freckled face.

''You are too sweet, Faron… But what are you going to do now?'' she shifted her weight to one feet, swaying her hip to the side while crossing her arms. ''You know you are in as much danger as she is now..''

''I don't care,'' he snarled, making his mandibles flare angry, but he quickly dropped his aggressive stance when he pleaded: ''Please… You are the only one who can help us Mayana…''

They are fighting… Now he looks at me… So it is about me. Eira didn't quite understand what really was going on but what she did know was that Faron did something he wasn't supposed to do. What did he and Kai actually do wrong? Kai wasn't so happy to see her when Faron saved her from the pirates. The pirates.. Her eyes darkened with the fear she felt boiling up, her heart began to beat in the terror from the memory. Bringing her back to the moment she had to run for her life, fight for her life. She was almost raped, she would lose her virginity to such foul animals that called themselves men if it wasn't for her green eyed alien savior…

Yeah, I am over 18 years old and still a fucking virgin! The blue haired girl said sardonic to herself. It wasn't her choice shaking her head mentally, I mean come on! I never went outside to party or even have a boyfriend! What did her parents actually want her to do?! She absently bit her lip, she did have a crush once, a new bodyguard for her father. he was tall, 26 years old, slim but muscular, had dark brown short chopped hair with enough wax to let it stand and his suit was making him even more sexy. God damn, he made her have enough erotic dreams and then the one time he finally (after months of flirting back and forth) kissed her! She was prepared to make it even more interesting and heating him a bit up (if you know what I mean). But in a few seconds the door slammed open and the poor boy got dragged out of her room by other guards, leaving her father with the most enraged expression in the opening of the door. What is wrong with that asshole? He threw him out, just like that! Am I not supposed to love?

Was this situation any better, Was this even the best time to dwell in the past? The young girl was pulled out of her deep pondering of the memory when the conversation was picked up again. The busty but in 'balance' blue alien 'Mayana' had relaxed and changed her stance, sighed something to Faron. The grey plated alien with his (quite beautiful) white face markings hissed something in return but his broad shoulders lowered in defeat. Eira could swear she heard an pleading sound coming from his mouth, Begging for help.

A few hours had past by, Faron was reading something on his data pad. Making sure he found enough information to use for their situation. Sometimes the green eyed turian would look up from his data pad, curious if there was any process in their research. He would search the human in the reflection of the window so he would not get caught inspecting her. Eira was still wearing his military jacket, almost drowning in it. He carefully took in how the blue haired human looked even more vulnerable then she already was. In some kind of way endearing to admire how she played with the bottom clasps of it, unclasping it and clasping it back together. Eira was to occupied with answering questions to even notice the turian spying on her. Mayana was deciphering the human language which proved difficult even for an talented case like herself. However the Asari kept an eye out, observing how the turian was admiring the human girl.

She really is something special. But why go the extra mile of danger for an alien the Turians are at war with?Sure, he was always a good guy, but this was even for him an unusual act of good will. How could Kai accept this from him? A small grin marked her lips, the Asari could imagine the face her Turian mate had made when the human girl had showed up. She knew Kai very well, Kai and Faron where her teenage friends and since her 'father' was an Turian himself they grew up on Palavan. She remembered how she was reading ancient texts while the still small boys were playing outside. Because of her long life span she didn't see them very often when they were young, however when they turned 18 years old she would go out and party all night with them. Kai, the oldest, was really bold, he would tell you straight what was on his mind. The asari felt her cheeks heat up, making her freckles even more purple then they already were, it reminded her of the time her mate asked to stay with her his whole life. It was so romantic.

The Asari broke out of her dream cloud when she reminded herself of the situation, rapidly focusing herself back to her research. The clicking sounds Eira produced while unclasping the jacket (that was definitely not her size and too 'Turian' looking) made the blue alien peek up from her omni tool.

Scornful her lips turned into an smirk. Ohohoho this is going to be good…

''Hey, Faron…''

''Hmm, mynah?'' He hummed still spying on the human, but looking 'casually' outside while grabbing a bottle from his desk.

''Where did she get that jacket from?'' chuckled the sapphire Asari still hidden behind her omni tool. Faron, who just took an big swig of his drink spew it all over the window. The human slack-jawed from the sudden destruction of the peaceful environment, noticed the suddenly bright cobalt blue flecks that grew on the neck of the alien.

''Wh-ha..?''. The smokey Turian sputtered, trying to wipe everything clean from his drink including the window. Definitely not planing to face his Asari friend.

"Awww, how nice of you!" Chirped Mayana, the freckled Asari couldn't hold her cheeky smile from her lips any longer.

"spirits, Mayana! You ruined my drink!" He spit at his friend, ignoring her 'point on' guess. The embarrassed boy flared his mandibles so even more water spilled out, dripping into his shirt.

"hahaha, your face!" She wheezed, holding her abdomen with two arms.

The two continued their playful fighting, the Asari mimicking the sour eyed Turians mandibles with her azure fingers. They abruptly stopped their drama when they heard an 'squeak' come from the sofa.

Eira was holding her face in her hands, shoulders slightly quivering. Doleful Faron reached for her, worried what made the human react this way. The Turian slowly held his talons over her hands, he surprised the girl making her gorgeous face visible. The red of her cheeks complimented her indigo strands, making her amused curled up lips visible for his green orbs. Perplexed the turian watched how the two aliens mocked him with their happy snorts and giggles.

Leaving him peeved.
