KN: Incoming chapter three! You know, for a LeonXCloud story, there still hasn't been a whole lot of romance between them yet. We might get some this chapter. Or at least more bonding. Kind of. Dammit, I suck at this. Summary has changed for now. Still not sure what to do with the title, though.

Warning: Eventual LeonXCloud. Hey, look the reason why I wrote Reno into this story! Vincent is still not making an appearance. AU. Spoilers for all the Kingdom Hearts games. I will never be good at fight scenes. Naked Cloud.

(T-T)

Why was he the one who lived?

That was the question, or maybe some variant of said question, that always haunted Reno. After all, one couldn't doubt that the other Turks might be alive somewhere and were probably waiting to regroup with him. Maybe they found a ship and ended up on another world or something. Maybe they were looking for him. But then, waiting nine years can make one's hope start to wane.

It was just difficult to believe that Tseng, Elena, Rude, Cissnei, and even his boss might've drowned under that mass of heartless. Especially not when Tseng was a better shot with a gun, Elena was far better at spellcasting, Rude could punch out a wall without trying, Cissnei would've surpassed his skills within the next month, and Rufus? Rufus was shooting those things even while falling off a building without even flinching. Blasting them as if it were another casual day before he hit the ground.

Reno might've been fast and…unconventional, in a sense, but that didn't compare to the sheer level of professionalism and skill of the other Turks. Their group wasn't the best underground organization of Hollow Bastion for no reason.

So, why then, was he the only one who lived?

He took his job as seriously as he could, but he was probably the least skilled of the group. Had it been anyone else who had survived, Reno wondered what they would have done. They probably would've done his job better as they usually do. Maybe one of them could've been the leader instead of Leon? Or maybe they'd have built a ship to search for the rest of the Turks?

Why hadn't he built a ship to search for them?

Sure, his 'helicopter' as Cid had put it, wasn't all that functional, but it still held up well enough to get to Hollow Bastion at least. Ignoring the high probability that the other Turks may not be alive, he could legitimately go search for them if he had permission from Leon. And it wasn't like Leon had any reason to deny him then. He could be all set to go to another world and see them.

But then Kairi had arrived in Traverse Town…

Reno had to tell himself that Kairi didn't look that much like Cissnei when they were younger. Because when they were younger, Cissnei didn't have short, straight hair with a dark red shade like that. And Cissnei didn't have big blue eyes like that. And Cissnei hated the color purple. And Cissnei would never be caught dead in a skirt. She liked dresses better.

And Kairi…looked just enough like Cissnei for Reno to postpone his search plan. He could search for the other Turks after Sora saved the world or something. Right now, he had to assure Kairi that Sora could get the job done and remind her which way she was supposed to turn the wrench and drink the tea she prepared occasionally.

He supposed it was pretty senseless. It wasn't like she needed any real protecting or anything since Traverse Town's first district was safe. But Kairi always wanted to explore the town because something something seeing a new world, and 'hey, Tidus is here too! Tidus!' And Reno couldn't bring himself to say 'no' to her.

So he and Cid always tried to accompany her when she went through the second district. Her presence had been…refreshing. It broke the tedium of having to bicker with Cid all the time, at least. And, well, Kairi looking like a familiar face had been pretty comforting too. Though sometimes Reno wondered how much of what he was doing was for her sake and not his. It seemed she found it good too, if her frequent chats with Tidus were any indicator. That was the kind of world Reno liked, one where kids could just talk without worry.

Now imagine how he felt when Kairi had suddenly disappeared on him. It had happened so quickly, he didn't have time to react. One moment, she was there with a wrench in her hand to help with the ship after serving tea as usual, and then she was gone in a dark blur, like a claw had grabbed her.

It was like he had let Cissnei die all over again.

Thank Ramuh if she had just returned to Destiny Islands after all. It seemed like that was the case after seeing Tidus missing from the square. Gepetto and Pinocchio were gone too. Everyone not native to Traverse Town or Hollow Bastion had gone somehow, so hopefully it meant that they had returned home.

So all that was left to do was go and find the Turks, maybe. If Hollow Bastionians didn't automatically return to their home world, then the other Turks were probably stuck on some other world somewhere. Well, that's if they weren't dead first (though Cloud's recent arrival had him holding out more hope that they were alive).

But looking after Kairi had reminded him of something. After years of helping Cid build things, snapping at Yuffie, escorting Aerith, and listening to Leon, Reno had always had other responsibilities. He had other people he wanted to keep safe and fight alongside. Right now, they were the most important people.

Maybe the other Turks could've done a better job, but the other Turks weren't here. Leon was going to rebuild Hollow Bastion, and Reno was going to do all he could to support that endeavor. This was his job now, and only he could do it.

After all, he was the one who lived.

(T-T)

"You've got to be kidding me, yo!" Reno ducked behind a wall. When the heartless had tried to dash past him, he stabbed it in the back with his EMR. "Weren't these guys supposed to be gone?!"

"I guess they didn't get the memo." Leon answered as he cut into one heartless with his gunblade, moved one of his arms off the hilt, used that arm to shoot a Firaga spell at another heartless, and gripped the hilt of his blade again to slash another heartless. "Either way, they've got to go."

"Don't need to tell me twice, yo!" Reno called down a Thundaga spell around him. They were soon finished off by lasers from the sky. That was probably Cid in the gummi ship, firing at the monsters from above. Cloud had also taken to the skies, cutting down wyverns and wizards without so much as batting an eye.

Aerith looked like she was dancing in a destructive veil of fire, ice, and lightning. That penchant for magic of hers really led to some beautiful things… With every multi-casting twirl, the heartless that were foolish enough to try to charge her met an unpleasant fate. Reno did not regret helping her upgrade her spells, but he certainly owed Elena for being the one who taught him how.

"Cloudster!" Yuffie waved him over. "Throw me!" He glided towards her, holding the blade flat and parallel to the ground. She jumped onto the chunk of metal like it was a platform as he ascended higher. He flew over a dense group of heartless and launched her high into the air. She spun like a top, a little tornado of black and green and yellow before she let loose a storm of shuriken.

Aerith sent a wave of ice their way, shards of hail reflected off steel blades and widening the area of attack. Heartless disappeared into wisps of black by the tens. The flower girl then re-wrapped her mini-storm with a new layer of frost. When Yuffie stopped spinning, Cloud caught her again as she let out a cheer and pointed to their next air strike location. Reno whistled at that.

"Didn't think those two would work so well together, yo." Reno ducked as Leon shot another Firaga spell at a heartless behind him. The redhead stayed low to the ground and rushed forward to take out the heartless that was behind the brunet.

Heh, now that Reno thought about it, this fight wasn't all that different than being in his old Turks group.

(T-T)

"What next, oh great leader?" Reno asked the brunet. Leon just shot him an annoyed glance before turning back to the rest of his audience.

"I think we've cleared Hollow Bastion out of heartless, but we can't know for certain. We have to make sure this area is completely safe before we transport the other residents of Hollow Bastion that are still in Traverse Town. We'll rest for tonight and make another sweep in the morning. If everything's clear, we'll get started on that transport."

" 'S gonna be a pain since each Gummi ship can only hold so many people…" Cid chewed on the end of his toothpick.

"But you can do it, right?" Aerith asked the pilot, cocking her head.

"'Course I can." Cid assured her. "So long as ya don't let Yuffie or Reno behind the wheel."

"Hey!" Yuffie narrowed her eyes at Leon while Reno shot an indignant glare at Cid. "That crash was one time!/I'm not letting anyone else pilot my ship, yo!"

"And it'll never happen again./Yer helicopter sucks." Leon and Cid replied to them.

Aerith laughed at the sight as she stood next to Cloud, who was leaning against the wall. She looked his way and gave him a bright smile. He gave her a blank look before turning away.

"Who's Cloud going to room with?" the flower girl asked, drawing all eyes save Cloud's to her.

"Oh yeah!" Yuffie said as though just realizing it. "Well, he can't room with me and Aerith, and Cid and Reno's room won't be big enough to fit him in without it getting cramped…" All eyes then turned to Leon. The brunet furrowed his brow at the attention, but knew he wouldn't be able to refuse.

"Lucky you, Leon!" Reno teased. He leaned down to whisper, "you get the kid who grew up hot" in his ear.

"Tch." The gunbladesman scoffed. He turned his attention to Cloud whose gaze looked up and locked with his. "Are you all right with this arrangement?"

"…hn." Cloud pushed himself off the wall so that he wasn't leaning on it anymore.

"Hold it!" Yuffie protested. "You're not really going to sleep in those clothes, are you?" the ninja put her hands on her hips. Cloud just blinked at her in surprise.

"Yuffie's right." Aerith agreed. "How long have you worn those anyway? They're practically rags."

Cloud's eyebrows arched against the curve of his eyes as he stared at the two. Should he tell them that he only got this set of clothing after he had outgrown his old clothes? And that he'd kind of just been washing them over and over while he bathed back at Olympus since they only let him use the bathhouse?

"Leon," Yuffie turned to him with a serious face. "You should lend him some of your clothes."

'Was I really expecting anything else?' the brunet thought.

"Why not Cid or Reno?" was what he ended up asking.

"Cid's too buff, and Reno's too skinny." The ninja pointed out. Cid just nodded in response while the Turk looked a little bit offended.

"If anyone's close enough in build to Cloud, it'd be you, Leon." Aerith agreed. "And besides, it's only for this night till we do some shopping for him tomorrow."

Leon gave the two girls a look before he turned to Cloud, who was sporting a similar expression to his.

"Are you all right with this arrangement?" he asked the winged blond. Cloud blinked. Then he sighed.

"…could be worse." Were the first words he had said all day.

Yuffie beamed happily (wait, did she also give Cloud a thumbs up?), and Aerith clapped her hands together. Reno yawned and headed to the room he shared with Cid. Yuffie bounced off to the room she shared with Aerith. The pilot took up his tool box and probably went to the makeshift garage while Aerith went outside with a sapling in her hands.

Leon led the blond swordsman to his room. He had expected the stifling silence he was used to whenever he was alone with Cloud, but the heavy footfalls of the winged man's steps made the quiet a little more calming.

After they reached the room, Leon looked through his closet for something more appropriate for Cloud to wear. He had seen for himself how Olympus treated the blond, so he needed something that would make the other swordsman more comfortable. The brunet didn't have a whole lot of variety when it came to shirts and pants, though. He stared at the multiples of leather pants and placed the palm of his hand on his forehead. He picked out a black shirt he had outgrown not too long ago and handed that to Cloud before leafing through pairs of pants to find something that wouldn't fit him too tightly.

When he gave up on that and turned around with a pair in his hands, Cloud had already put the shirt on. His wing was neatly folded up against his back, peaking out through the collar. And for whatever reason, Cloud was still wearing that red cape. Leon raised a brow at that, but otherwise let it be.

"…do you want to cut a hole in that shirt?" the brunet asked, getting a switchblade out of his nightstand drawer. "I can't imagine that's comfortable for your wing."

"It's fi-!" Cloud was cut off by the sound of the shirt ripping. He turned to look at his wing, which was now proudly unfolded, a piece of black fabric hung off it. He blinked at it and turned back to Leon. "Sorry."

"I didn't like that shirt anyway." The gunbladesman said as he put the switchblade away. "This is the loosest pair I've got, but you can ask for help if you need it." He handed him the pants. Leon then went to the closet to unroll the futon.

"…" Cloud just stared at the leather in a 'who-actually-needs-help-to-put-pants-on' kind of way.

"You can take my bed." The brunet offered. "I'm used to confined spaces anyway." He closed the closet door and rested on the futon inside.

Thud.

"What the…?" Cloud's voice asked on the other side of the closet door. Leon would give him a few more minutes before the blond gave up and asked for help.

Thud. Rustle.

"…hn." Cloud made another low sound outside the closet door. The brunet could hear some more movement before Cloud probably fell over again trying to get them on. "Hwah!"

Thud. Crash.

"Are you sure you don't want help?" Leon asked. If this kept up, the blond might end up breaking something…maybe even somethings.

Cloud answered that with a growl, and Leon quickly forgot he even offered.

The brunet was pretty sure it took a while before Cloud actually got them on if the repeated and irregular thuds were anything to go by, but he hadn't stayed awake long enough to find out.

(T-T)

Here. They were here too.

Leon thought his group had left those creatures behind in Hollow Bastion, but it looked like that was just wishful thinking. He glanced up at the sky and saw there wasn't any world-ripping black hole like there was back home. Did those monsters originate from here, then?

"Thunder!" A voice called behind him. Sparks fell around Leon and destroyed the creatures. He turned to see Aerith extending an arm and preparing another spell. "Blizzard!" He ducked under her spell and lunged forward to skewer a monster that had tried to jump on her back.

"Shouldn't you be with Yuffie?" He asked her, not turning around. They were surrounded again, so he backed up towards her to guard her back. She shifted her footing.

"Yuffie's with Cid and Sara in the first district." (Sara was the local they had first met when they arrived in Traverse Town) Aerith brought up both arms in front of her, one palm resting on the back of the other, "Besides, I can fight too." She blasted a fire spell at an oncoming monster.

"…fine." Leon knew that stubborn tone of hers. He swung his blade three times, each swing taking out a pair of those creatures. He cast a few fire spells of his own while Aerith was making her own little field of flames, hail, and sparks. She started to pant a little, probably exhausting herself from using so much magic. Luckily, the crowd seemed to die down.

"Are you are all right?" Leon turned to check on her. She gave him a tired smile with a hint of irritation. The flower girl took one of his hands in hers and cast a cure spell over his injured wrist.

"Try not to overdo it yourself, Squa…Leon." Her eyes lowered in displeasure at the correction. He gave her his thanks and pulled his arm away.

"Yo, Leon!" That was probably the red-haired man – Reno, if the swordsman recalled correctly – calling him. He was the only one who had adjusted to calling the gunbladesman 'Leon,' most likely because he didn't even know the brunet's real name till Cid and the others addressed him with it. He jogged over to the pair, moving quicker than Leon would've guessed possible. "The third district was crawling with those little guys too."

"Looks like our new home isn't too safe, then." Leon looked around cautiously, scanning the area for any other ambushes.

"I wouldn't say that, yo." Reno awkwardly said around the toothpick. It looked like he wasn't quite used to not having a cigarette. "I went around into the first district, and there wasn't a sign of those creatures anywhere."

"So, Yuffie and the others are safe?" Aerith asked, a hint of relief in her voice.

"Why do they avoid the first district?" Leon raised a brow at that.

"Got me, yo." Reno shrugged his shoulders. "But at least that means we have one area where we can rest and regroup." He waved them over to the tall doors of the first district. "Let's go back before we worry Yuffie, yo. Cid and Sara might get upset with us leavin' them too."

"Hm…" Leon scanned the area again. He had wanted to explore the third district that the Turk was in, and he hadn't had a chance to check out that shop in the far corner of this district yet. If they could get their hands on some materials… He was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt someone grabbing his hand. He turned to see that eerily knowing look in Aerith's green eyes.

"Let's go." She ordered in a tone that told Leon he had no choice.

"Oh yeah, Aeris…er…um, Aerith! Yeah, Aerith!" Reno snapped his fingers at that. "I saw that little storm you were whippin' up there. Good with magic, ain'tcha?"

"Well, I've had a pretty strong affinity for it since I was little." The flower girl laced her hands behind her back as she blushed lightly.

"Ah, that would explain it, yo." Reno nodded. "Well, if yer ever interested, I could teach ya how to widen your spell's target radius."

"You could?" Aerith asked, eyes lighting up. She seemed less interested in the increased attack area and more interested in knowing more magic. She had been quite the bookworm back in Hollow Bastion too.

"You won't be packin' much strength unless you reach the third tier of the spell, though." The Turk warned. "And it'll take more of yer endurance outta ya, so you'll have to be extra careful not to overdo it." His eyes strayed to Leon. "Both of ya should try not to overdo it."

"…whatever." Leon muttered under his breath.

(T-T)

Cloud took a deep breath. When he opened his eyes again, he was still up on a peak in Hollow Bastion staring down an oncoming army of heartless. Compared to the heartless from Hades' domain, they didn't look all that tough. Rows and rows of little yellow eyes moved about like a crowd holding candles. Well, if a crowd was capable of crawling and sinking into the ground at the tip of a hat… There were a few flying enemies as well, the kind that cast low level magic spells.

He drew his sword and shifted his stance. The leather pants were terribly uncomfortable. The blond dived off the cliff, gaining speed before he snapped out his wing and cut a swathe through the sea of creatures. A few of them jumped onto his back, so he spun parallel to the ground and shook them off while still airborne. Then he blasted them with a Thundara spell before he set foot on the ground. The heartless started to form up around him, making a messy circle. He rolled his eyes and adjusted his grip on the sword's hilt.

The swordsman stepped back before rushing forward as purple rings formed around his charge. After the first dash, he changed his direction and charged again, two, maybe three more times before he leapt high into the air. He came back down to the ground again, sword pointing to the underworld as he skewered the last heartless in the group. He twisted the blade, and the creature disappeared in a cloud of black dust. The blond pulled the sword out of the ground and threw it at the airborne yellow enemy before he cast a Thundara spell to kill off the other flyers.

He went to retrieve his sword and head back to Leon's room when he heard a rustling sound behind him. When he turned around there was a large heartless with tentacles and a red prism-shaped gem in its forehead. It opened its mouth and roared, casting an ember blast from the forehead gem. Cloud ducked low to the ground to avoid it and rushed forward, folding out his wing again. He took flight as it shot out more beams of fire. He spun parallel to the ground again, this time rolling sideways to dodge each blast before he did a reverse somersault and kicked the creature in the face with both his legs.

Not skipping a beat, he jumped back from the kick in a back-flip and blasted the tentacles that tried to grab him with blizzard spells, freezing them in place. Now that he was on the ground again, he ran forward and roundhouse kicked the frozen appendages, shattering them. Cloud then hopped back a step before he leapt up onto its face again and punched the gem on its forehead. He managed to make a crack on it when the creature roared again – probably snapping out of its daze - and snapped its head upwards, tossing him into the air. Before he could unfold his wing and fly again, a regenerated tentacle grabbed him by the ankle and flung him away.

"Hah…ack!" Cloud's back met a rock wall. Climbing out of the Cloud-shaped dent he made in the rock face, he saw his sword not too far away from him on the ground. He dove to retrieve it, narrowly avoiding a tentacle that slammed into the dent he occupied not too long ago. The blond used the energy from his falling to wrench the sword out of the ground and raised it to block another tentacle that was trying to reach him. He sliced another tentacle before grabbing it and putting all his strength into throwing the heartless against the cliff face.

'Payback.' He thought as the creature shook its head as it pulled itself away from the heartless-shaped dent it made near Cloud's. Before it could regain its bearings, the blond drove the point of his sword into the gem in its forehead, turning it into another cloud of dark dust.

Cloud massaged the ache in his back before he made his way over to the spot where the heartless had appeared. He buried the blade of his sword into the ground and uprooted a festering string of little black writhing…things with even tinier yellow eyes. Making sure that he had yanked them all out, he dropped them to the ground letting them collect in a lumpy coil before he crushed them under the heel of his boot. They made a sickening screaming sound before all that was left of them was a dark stain.

The blond stared at their remains with a blank look, ignoring the cold shudder that wracked his body before he returned to Leon's room.

(T-T)

The brunet woke up to the sound of a whistle. More specifically a wolf whistle, and he knew all too well there was only one person in Hollow Bastion who did those. He opened the closet door to find Reno had entered his room without knocking as usual. The redhead's eyes looked up at the sound, and he turned his attention to Leon.

"Yo, leader!" Reno raised a hand in greeting. "Why were you sleeping in the closet when you've got a cute blond in your bed?" The gunbladesman grunted at the question. He didn't know why Reno seemed to ignore the fact that Cloud had a wing now. Maybe he didn't know Cloud well enough to be surprised? Or maybe the wing was sexy in Reno vision, who knows? That wouldn't explain the claw, though.

"I'm more used to confined spaces, so it's no bother to me to sleep here." Leon explained.

"Oh yeah, the orphanage back in Hollow Bastion wasn't all that big, huh?" the redhead recalled. "Ya could've just slept with Cloud, though. Or," he put a hand to his chin in thought, "did ya want him to have the bed since he probably hasn't slept in a real one in a long time?" The redhead smiled at the idea. "That is adorable, yo."

"Shut up, Reno." The brunet pinched the bridge of his nose. His eyes strayed to Cloud's sleeping form. The shirt Cloud had been wearing was folded neatly near the blond. The pants were no more than a clean-cut shred, though.

'I get that you didn't like the pants, but did you have to cut themoff? Those were expensive.' The gunbladesman stared at the remains in disdain. He looked back at Cloud and just now noticed that the other swordsman was stark naked.

'…I suppose that's more comfortable.' Leon thought as he continued to look Cloud over. The blond was curled up on top of the sheets, wing folding over him in an almost protective manner. There were few prominent scars on his body, surprisingly. The brunet had thought maybe Cloud had more wounds on his legs since there was only one or two on his upper body. Speaking of, the gunbladesman focused on that thick jagged splotch of white he had seen back in Olympus. He didn't know why, but he felt the story behind that mark would leave him unsettled. It was strange that Cloud had so few scars since he was a gladiator in the Coliseum for who knows how long. Was he just that competent of a fighter?

Though right now, the blond looked far too unguarded and peaceful. The only things that betrayed the image was the dark wing and the demon claw. It was like someone had made a mistake in the assembly of an angel. But then, no battle-hardened warrior should've looked that innocent anyway.

"You could take a picture if ya wanted, leader." Reno suggested with a wicked grin. Leon turned to glare at him.

"And how long were you ogling him?" The brunet asked. "Knew you were a perv, but I didn't think you were this creepy…"

"Hey, I came in not too long ago." The EMR-wielder raised his hands in front of him defensively. "And ya can't blame me, yo, the kid grew up pretty."

"Just get the others together so we can start the swee-!" Leon was interrupted by a sudden thud. He blinked and saw a shocked Reno on his back with a winged blond straddling him, one hand keeping one of the older man's arms pinned down while the other was raised as if primed to crush his skull.

"WHOA, EASY BLONDIE!" Reno shouted the first thing that came to mind, bringing his other arm up in front of him defensively. "I'm harmless, yo! No need to go all trained assassin on me!"

Cloud seemed to pause at that and lowered his hand, glancing around the room as if just now realizing where he was. Reno gave a small sigh of relief.

"Some reflexes you've got there." The brunet marveled at the action. He hadn't even seen Cloud wake up much less tackle Reno to the ground. Three unfortunate seconds later, and the redhead might've lost his head. That was a dark thought. "We'll have to be careful when we come to wake you." The blond turned to look at him, but he was still straddling Reno.

"Coliseum wasn't exactly the safest place to sleep." He explained as he rubbed an eye, trying to shake off his sleepiness. His wing seemed to stretch itself out as well. "Had to keep a part of me awake at all times in case of attacks. Competitors didn't exactly appreciate the challenge I brought."

'Phil probably had to keep his distance or he would've been a very dead satyr.' Leon supposed that might have explained the management. Cloud was pretty dangerous sometimes, but they didn't have to exclude him from every facility except the bathhouse.

"Yanno, this isn't too bad of a position when yer not tryin' ta kill me." Reno observed. Cloud turned back to the redhead and blinked. He hadn't noticed that the Turk was on the ground underneath him, well, still on the ground and underneath him too. "Though the next time we get into this, you could at least let me get my pants off."

"Hah…!" Cloud blushed hard before he practically leapt off, using Leon's blanket to cover up the lower half of his body. He turned away from the two in a mix of embarrassment and rage while the oldest man in the room got up from the floor.

"Reno…" Leon narrowed his eyes at him. "There's a limit to how much sexual harassment you can get away with."

"I guess I'm still feeling bold from laughin' in the face of death, yo." Reno dusted off his suit. "And before we get everyone together to sweep the heartless out of Hollow Bastion, we should probably grab a bite to eat."

"…I suppose you're right." The brunet admitted.

"Um…" Cloud glanced at the leather pants on the bed that were still sliced open. "Sorry about that."

"Not like Leon doesn't have that same style in tens…" Reno said around the toothpick in his mouth. The gunbladesman gave him a weak glare. "I can get Aerith to tailor one of my pants for ya." He offered. "Though, we really should get ya some new clothes when this is all over." His eyes strayed to the giant hole in the black shirt that lay near the ruined pants.

"Agreed." Leon nodded.

"I'll be back with those pants then." Reno made to leave when he got another idea. He lowered his head and whispered in the brunet's ear. "Make sure you pick out something he'll look good in, yo. He's got a nice ass."

"Reno…" The brunet growled as the Turk made a quick retreat. He glared at the closed door of his bedroom while Cloud looked him over curiously, wondering what the redhead said to make the other man so angry. Leon sighed and buried his face in his hands. "One of these days…" He then turned back to his closet to grab another shirt for the naked blond in his bed.

Cloud's lips curved into a small smile no one would see as his eyebrows arched sympathetically.

KN: -rereading previous chapters- I used to be so descriptive. What the hell happened? I hope writing more will help me get the rust off. Oh yeah, and remember when I said I didn't care much for Reno? It looks like I'm going to have to take that back.
