Interlude-Missions of profit and boredom

After the passing of team 7, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura quickly delved into the D-ranked missions or rather the chores that the villages would do like: Gardening, shopping and delivering the mail, etc. all in all team 7 was simply getting to restless for, 'the life of a shinobi,' and the quarter-assed efforts of Kakashi training, taught Naruto that it was just better to train himself and stopped bothering to arrive to training at all and just sent a Mana Bunshin, in his place. So while his clone met with his team, Naruto himself stayed indoors at home, training in his own way and had more success, having mastered all Chakra controls forms, so he just concentrated on learning new just and then upgrading it the Manaton, which he had started with the genius little jutsu called: Rasengan.

With the clone however, he was not having any fun, especially when the pink haired banshee, screeches into his ear about him been an idiot and having Kakashi as a leader wasn't much better, when you realize he'll never be on time and would only train the thought himself as Kami: Uchiha Sasuke, whom in which said outright, "Kakashi-sensei there is no need to train anyone but me, I am an Uchiha an Elite, all else is unimportant," though Kakashi as if he had not heard him, simply trained him privately, but only at a half-assed level and that simply worked out for Sakura, since she just receives books to read and never made an attempted to train, while leaving Naruto with a seemingly larger book for him to train with.

Now with a more durable and stronger, Chakra enhanced Mana Kage Bunshin in the Namikaze forges, as he worked on: smelting and molding, a carbon steel and titanium alloy, which was then enhanced with Manaton Chakra, into special designed weapons, that are meant for reducing his need to use hand seals, when using his jutsu's and it can also be used to replenish chakra, when he is low. After 2 hours of work, the Naruto clone poured liquid metal into the Chakura Tō molds, which were his weapons of choice in a combat situation, along with the Japanese double edged long sword and any claw classed weapons, both of which were waiting for the Chakura Tō, when they get tempered.

Next we have Hinata, in the Hyuga compound practicing her: non-Manaton enhanced Jūho Kata, under the audience of her father and some of the clan elders, where most of the elders were now disgruntled, at seeing a person they've considered weak and helpless, destroy a training dummy, with what looked more like a dance, than a taijutsu style, and their disgruntlement only increased when they viewed her strongest finishing move, as she thrusted a pair lion motifed gauntlets of pale blue chakra shouting, "Jūho Sōshiken," into the dummies stomach region, which upon impact resulted in the shattering of the target and aloud for Hiashi to call an end to the demonstration. While back with Naruto clone, with team 7, as the team was given a supply delivery run for the local blacksmith, from the Hokage, of course the Naruto clone had made the exercise easier by make a large delivery cart, from Manaton chakra and that had allowed him to carry multiply loads fast and more effectively, Sasuke as he saw this began to get pissy and felt like lashing out at his team mate, though if he were honest; Sasuke was grateful that Naruto had taken more of the load and had been thinking that Naruto was doing it as a service to the Uchiha.

Back with the real Naruto, as he researched into grate depth about the jutsu called: Rasengan, while having made a clone to start the training to master the technique, where he found it was only a portion of the potential the Rasengan could provide and that it could take on a properties of additional natural chakra like: Wind, Fire and Water etc, though Naruto had decided to curtail that portion, for when he can. While with the smithing clone, as he just finishes the cooling process off, by plunging the Chakura Tō into a vat of Manaton enriched water, before move them and the waiting weapons over to the grindstone, where he began the intricate work of sharpening them to a fine blade edge, which would cut threw anything and then some.

Returning to the clone with team 7, as they were given a mission by the Daimyo's wife: find her pet cat Tora, and had set out to look for it. Once outside of the Hokage tower, team 7 split into four directions, with Sakura running at academy ninja speeds west of the village, Sasuke at body flickered to the west of the village, with Kakashi doing the same to the south of the village and Naruto rocketed towards the north region of the village. From the air in the north region of Konohagakure, Naruto scanned with his summoning acquired Dojutsu: Ryu-Hebigan, for his target: Tora the cat, as his reptilian designed eye combed the Shinobi clan estates from the air, looking for any sign of the cat. While back in the Namikaze forge, the clone blacksmith, had finished tempering the blades and headed for the fuinjutsu seal engraver, to carve the seals needed to allow Naruto to summoning them in battle, without having to unsheathe them for; the claw weapons and Chakura Tō, while the sword got the enhanced durability and sharpness seals and then to finish: a complete set of maintence seals for: cleaning and sterilizing, once the task was complete, the Naruto clone then gathered his Manaton chakra and used the energy to paint the weapon seals brother, on his arms, hands and fingers.

Back in the air over the clan district, the Naruto searching for Tora the cat, spotted an irregular amount of movement, a blur the size of a large housecat and moved in for a closer inspection, after catching the blur in a bubble of green chakra, Naruto stopped the blur and confirmed the Identification of the cat to be Tora, so with that complete, Naruto radioed his team and informed them of a successful capture of the target. Returning to the Hokage mountain, Naruto handed over the cat to its owner and got paid for a quick capture, before looking back over to the Hokage, whom of which was now getting a Sasuke sized headache from the demands the Uchiha was spouting, when he sighed at the obviously concealed smirk threatening the features of the Hokage, when the said Hokage grants the 'request.'

Then after they were introduced to their client they'll be protecting, Kakashi dismissed them to pack for the mission, where which Naruto just puffed out in a explosion of green light, which caused the original to learn of the mission and prompted him to collect his pre-packed storage scroll, stocked with supplies for a month long mission, before retrieving his newly made sword and sheath, embossed with the words: Rantanmūn ken, which was the name of the sword, before slinging the blade across his back and headed for the door of his home.
