Brooks POV

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I HATE dress shopping! And now that I think about it I hate any kind of shopping! Well any kind not involving sports." I exclaim.

"Then what are you going to wear to the dance? Percy's old chlamys! Come on you have to come, do you want to be gorgeous in front of Nico or not?" Kate says.

"Wait how do you know that I like Nico!" I say kind of shocked.

"I am the daughter of Aphrodite! I see and know eeeeeeeverything about eeeeeeeveryones love life at camp Rookie." Kate says mischievously.

"Oh umm er well okay I guess we should go not for Nico though to show respect for um um the Ni- Demigods….. the Demigods and the people who died!" I say

"Yay lets go Seaweed Brain Jr." Kate says super excited.

"Okay!", I Say aggravated. "Wait, how do you know about the whole Seaweed Brain Jr. thing? Wait, whatever I don't want to know just don't call me that."

"Hehehehehe" Kaitlyn giggles mischievously.

I don't know how I hate and love that girl at the same time. She is just either Darth Vader with her death star dress shopping and then she's just an awesomely evil friend who's all sweet and innocent when she wants to be. Ugh it's infuriating. And people say I'm confusing!

We climb into the car and I realize that Annabeth and Piper are in the front and are smiling.

And then they both say "You had to say Nico for her to come right!" Which of course Kaitlyn nods to.

Oh this is going to be a loooong day!

Kate's POV

After a long conversation about Nico in the car we finally get to the dress store its called 'Belles Robes' (which is french for beautiful dresses). Look lets just get this clear right now I AM NOT A PRISSY GIRLY GIRL WHO STARES AT HER NAILS ALL DAY, okay I am just a little evil making Rookie go to the girliest dress shop I could find. But at the same time I really want to find a nice dress to impress Shane. (A/N ok, now that we have that out of the way:P. PS: J actually does this to me in really life!)

We all climb out of the car and Brook immediately says, "Gods no I am not going into there. That store is the Chasm and you guys are Peter, Drew, and Al and you want to push me into it to die!" (A/N C I am sure you are very proud of me right now hehehe.)

"Stop with the Divergent stuff already, Brook you're going in!" Annabeth says stubbornly.

"Fine I will but I am not going to try on any frilly or dainty or whatever dresses." Brook says.

We all walk in and we are all overwhelmed with dresses are so many gorgeous and hideous dresses everywhere. I look at Brook and see that she looks like she about to puke and I take a little enjoyment from that in a good way . I follow her gaze and see that she's looking in the area with alot of pink sparkly dresses. HAHAHA!

"So Rookie those are the dresses you're planning to where there so sparkly and pink! I am so happy to see that you're a girl!" I say mischievously, and I notice

Annabeth laughing hysterically in the background.

"I was always a girl well, accept for that time I went to the beach and crashed a surfing lesson for boys. I went as a dude named Reggie!" Brook says.

"Well okay I was just asking since all we had to support the theory that you actually are a girl was, that you ordered girl sized shirts at camp and that you loooooooooooooooove Nico!" I answer back quickly.

"Look girlie I am a girl! What do you want to check!" Rookie says with her usual sassy attitude.

"NOOOOOOO I don't want to but we just had to make sure you weren't Percy pretending to be you!" I say laughing.

"Weeeeeeeeeell Okay that sounds like something my brother and I would do now lets get this dress garbage over with." Perc-Book says.

We all run through the store and then I immediately see and pick out everyone's dresses accept for Rookie's because I will have to pay special attention for that and we all accept for Brook go into the dressing room.

Annabeth comes out first in a silver and black knee length dress dress with bird designs in black. The back of the dress is scooped and shows most off her back. The skirt of the dress was flowy with silk like material. She comes out sees herself and says "I'll take this one!" and then sits down and smiles.

Then Piper comes out a in a, strapless dress. It was a sparkly lavender dress that went to mid thigh. Right under her bust there is a braided gold belt with a light blue flower on the side.

Then I walk into the dressing room and put on a dress with a strapless silver sequin bodice(A/N J:bodice is the top part of the dress C. C: I know that. J: Are you sure? C: Well actually didn't.) and the skirt of the dress is a really pretty flowy rose pink tulle (yes it a thing look it up) skirt type of thing with an under skirt that goes to the mid upper thigh.

I finally put all my attention on Rookie because now everyone else has a dress. I realize that Rookie and I won't find a dress for her in this section so we both immediately eye the Hell's Angels section and scream "RUN!" and then we both jet to that section.

"Wow your not too slow for a prissy Aphrodite kid" Rookie says.

"Thanks," I say. "I guess sports camp in fifth grade has paid off even though I was one of the only girls!" I exclaim.

"Wait you did sports camp! Me too! Well I went to Camp Fire Sport in Florida for like 8 years!" Brook asked shocked and amused.

"Yeah I went to sports camp for 2 years, my little padawan it was Camp Wicked Play." I say mischievously and amused.

We stop talking and have a major stare down and then we bolt to the dresses and then we both see the perfect one….

It is a Royal Blue tank top dress with a V neck where black lace with intricate designs fill most of the V neck. The dress has a lacey black belt, at the waist of the dress, that is a little see through. The skirt of the dress is still royal blue with a skater skirt like thing going with more intricate lace designs bordering the bottom of the dress and it goes down to mid thigh.

We find it in her size try it on and immediately look for accessories for it and we find two leather bracelets and black high top Converse because we both agreed Rookie should not attempt heals. Everyone rushes to the cashier and buys there dresses and then goes out running to the car. We drive to camp and immediately shoo the guys out of cabin three to get makeovers for the dance tonight. I lock Brook and myself in the bathroom with my straightening iron and my makeup box despite all of the 'NOOOOOOOOOs' and 'NEVERS'. I do my magic she ends up looking awesomely gorgeous. She looks and the mirror and says smiling, "wait I actually look like I'm a Girl!" Then I do my makeup, while Piper does hers and Annabeth's. We all look at each other and compliment how we look in our dresses. Then suddenly we hear a knocking at the door and go to open it and we see…
