A/N: Hey guys, the next few chapters are going to be important so pay attention. This chapter is basically devoted to getting to know Brook and Nico, at least the way we see him. We hope you like it. This wasn't in the original plan but we thought since we haven't post in like forever, you guys should get to learn about our characters.

Nico's POV

"Let's play 20 questions." I say.

"Okay?" Brook says unsurely.

"I'll go first. Favorite color? Mine's black."

"Blue. Favorite food? Ironically mine's Sushi."

"Ha! Mine's probably burgers. Birthday? Mine's February 1st 2000."

"September 14th 2001, I'm almost 13. So,I'm assuming you're in 9th grade so there's no point in asking, I am too cause I just hit the cut off! But, that doesn't really matter cause we don't go to school. So, music? I love the Train, The Cab, old Maroon 5, Bea Miller, and a bunch of others like that."

"Umm…. This is a tough one. I'm gonna have to go with, and please don't kill me, but I don't really listen to music. Ok, least favorite subject in school. I hate math."

"1st of all we are going to change the whole "I don't really listen to music thing". 2nd probably English, cause of the whole dyslexia thing. And 3rd of all what's you favorite subject? I like literacy, art, and science."

"I like science too, art is eh, I hate literacy. I do like history though. Favorite book? I like… well I don't really have a favorite, but what's yours?"

"Oh gods, The Divergent series, duh! YOU MUST READ THEM! What is your favorite sport? I like swimming, even though I haven't really swam since my mother, you know died. I also love softball/baseball, soccer and basketball. But mostly swimming and softball/baseball."

"I like baseball. Do you surf? I definitely do not!"

"Yeah, I mean I used to. I was pretty good to. I was in lots of competitions and got a lot a medals. Favorite ice cream flavors? I love coffee, chocolate, cookies and cream and chocolate cookies and cream."

"I like all of those except switch out all of the cookies and creams for mint…."

"Hey! Nico! Brook!" A girl-like voice says. We both turn to see Violet Alroetis, daughter of Demeter and head counselor. "You guys your time ended like 5 minutes ago. Percy asked me to go get you."

"Oh." I said.

"We will be there in a minute,... sorry but I don't know you." Brook says.

"Oh! Right, well I'm Violet Alroetis. Daughter of Demeter, and head counselor. Nice to officially meet you." She says putting out her hand to shake a Brook does. We both get up and entwine our hands and walk off towards the dance.
