Brooks POV

I'm running so fast that I can barely see where I'm going, so its a good thing I know the route by heart. I can hear hurried footsteps behind me so I run faster. I just can't deal with anything right now. I really like Nico and it hurts me to know that he could be so mean. But I'm kinda touched that he would really fight for me.

Nico's POV

"Brook!" I yell after her, but she keeps on running.

I have no idea where she's running to but I have to keep following her. I feel bad about what I did at dinner, but that Derek guy is way out of line. He had no right to flirt with my girl, especially since he knew we are dating.

I run faster and faster to catch up with Brook, but she's still way ahead of me. We turn onto a street but I can't read the name because Zeus hates me and made it start raining. Then I see Brook run into a midnight blue house I quickly run in to.

"Brook! Can we please stop running!" I say kind of out of breath.

"Will you stop being a jealous jerk!" She retorts.

"I will if you dump your other boyfriend!"

"You really don't get it do you!?" She screams turning around. Gods, she's crying.

I only stare back at her.

"Derek is GAY you idiot! All I wanted is for you guys to get along and you were being an obnoxious jerk!" She yells.

"Oh" I say dumbfounded.

"Yeah oh... really Nico only oh?" Brook stamers.

"I am so sorry Brook!" I say truly.

"You're not getting off that easily, but for now whatever." She says less angry.

We sit on a beige couch in the corner of the room for about ten minutes in silence.

"Brook"

"Yeah "

" Where are we?" I ask.

"Oh um, my old house", She replies still a little cold.

"Oh its nice." I say.

"Thanks". She replies.

She stands up and walks around the house, while she's going through the hall she has her hand tracing the wall.

"What's up" ? I say slowly.

"Just thinking about my mom and some people in my life, I guess."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not right now".

"Okay starfish".

"Thank you doll."

"What?!"

"Percy maybe let a thing or two slip."

"Mmm okay remind me to kill him later. Brook I'm really sorry about earlier. I hope you can forgive me."

"Yeah."

She stands in front of a door, her hand on the knob. She takes a deep breath and opens the door. The room has light green walls. There is a large bed in the middle. Brook steps in and stands there for a few seconds and then collapses into my arms in tears.

"Sh sh sh, Brook please don't cry."

"I miss her Nico! I miss her so much."

"Miss who?"

"My mom."

"Oh." I say as I lead her over to the bed and sit down. "Hey, Brook, can I tell you something."

"Sure." She whispers.

"Wow ok I don't really know where to start. Um, well I was born in the 1930's and Zeus tried to kill my sister Bianca and me. Instead he killed my mother, to protect us my father sent us to the Lotus Casino. In the casino life went on around us but we never aged. When my father saw it fit he took us out and put my sister and me in school. The headmaster was a Manticore searching for me and Bianca. Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia came to save us. Annabeth was captured and my sister joined the hunters. Artemis went missing so Grover, Thalia and my sister went to go look for her. Percy was annoyed because he missed Annabeth so he snuck out of camp to look for her. He promised me he would look out for my sister to make sure she wouldn't, die. She did. Percy found Annabeth and told me about Bianca. I was so mad I hated him. A few year my feelings towards him started to go in the other direction. I loved your brother. It killed me that he was with Annabeth. After the war he found out and by then I was over it. I started dating Will Solace, but he broke up with me cause I never really listened to his over protective warnings. I went back to the Casino for a few years rescuing people who were trapped in there ( A/N nice Nico! ). When I came home I met you and I really liked you, and now you're my girlfriend and I'm am now the happiest I have ever been by your side."

"I'm glad we're together too."

We started to walk back to Leo's house. When we got there we stepped into the doorway and there was Percy waiting for us like he will always.

"Hi Brook" Percy say and gestures us into the house.

(Next chapter will be a time skip back to New York back at Percy and Annabeth's house.)
